Guest Reviews
- Remedios (9/5): Very good can recommend - Very nice property. Abdul very nice and pleasant
- Carl (7/5): -
- Meghan (8/5): - Location was good, lots of parking, nice pool, good simple breakfast. We didn’t have need of the full kitchen, but it would be really nice for anyone who did. The closet and bathroom also both have a ton of storage, which is amazing. Night front desk guy was, not unfriendly but not really friendly either. Morning front desk woman was nice though.
- Ruslana (9/5): -
- Chester (10/5): - All
- Mohamed Aymen (10/5): - Okay
- Serena (10/5): - I can't say enough about how nice the staff is here in every role. I will book here again when i am back in Edmonton
- Helen (10/5): -
- Arianna (10/5): - Room service is every two days. Hot tub wasn’t that hot more luke warm. Pool was perfect temperature. Gym was good, two treadmills, elliptical machine, bench, free weights, yoga mat. Breakfast was awesome. Different meats every day. Staff were nice, room was good. If your room is near the freeway it can get loud at night.
- Hannu (8/5): - Easy acces by a vehicle, easy parking. Property has limited walkability.
- Hyojin (2/5): - I asked for a room with a bathtub, but the front desk staff didn’t even check and flatly said no. Later, when the whole hotel filled with smoke, there was no alarm or warning—we only knew because firefighters knocked on our door. She ignored guest requests and showed no care for safety. I seriously wonder if she followed any safety procedures at all. Totally unacceptable
- Penny (4/5): - The rooms toilet had urine and toilet paper in it in check in, went to flush and it was clogged. So I let them know and bring a plunger they bring me a broken one. Not to mention the hairs in shower and garbage in bin? Oh and a broken fridge....I tried to unclog toilet on my OWN but no luck. So finally couldn't take anymore as I'm covered in toilet water and urine trying to unclog a toilet I didn't clog??!!! I demanded a new room which they did.
- Ann Margaret (10/5): - loved our stay in the hotel. everything was clean and working great. great options in continental breakfast menu. location is convenient
- melody (4/5): - This is a beautiful new hotel. We were disappointed in the service. No daily housekeeping, no take out garbage removal even when placed in hallway, shampoo/conditioner containers empty. The worst was we booked a king room and upon arrival they told us they had none and moved us to two bed room. When disappointed her only response was they won’t charge us as that room more expensive. Very short staffed hotel, we got feeling it was built to house immigrants long term. We stay at many hotels and never write poor reviews but service lacked!
- Benjamin (10/5): - Clean, comfy bed and room, great staff and breakfast.
Would absolutely stay again
- Anna Regina (6/5): - The
- Jayne (6/5): - The room was way overpriced. Bathroom shower curtain had numerous hairs hanging off of it. I wouldn't stay here again.
- Irene (8/5): - Friendly and helpful staff but included breakfast was always the same and could have been better as no other dining facilities on the property
- Christina (10/5): - Lovely hotel !!! Will stay here again, accommodations were amazing and pet friendly.
- Hasnain (10/5): - I have stayed here 3 times
Staff is very friendly and property is very clean
Very close to everything
- Alexander (10/5): - Enjoyed the room, breakfast and pool.
- jashan (8/5): - Overall Good 👍
- Arturo (8/5): - All good
- Bernadene (10/5): - Great location with proximity to the highway and grocery stores.
- Nicole (10/5): - Construction made it difficult to get into the hotel and limited the parking spaces available because equipment took up 1/3 of the parking lot.
- Arron (10/5): - Staff are great and helpful!
- guity (10/5): - I like everything on this hotel
I recommend it to my friends
- Manpreet (10/5): - Hotel was good room was clean and fully equipped with kitchenette and the area was safe. Only issue was the traffic because of the construction in the area.
- Suneel Samrat (10/5): - Grt hotel to stay
- Akudia (6/5): - Property was OK, about average. AC had a loud noise which kept us up, plus it was not effectively chilling the room.
The upsetting thing is that the hotel knew the AC had issues but withheld that information, put us in that room and declined to switch the room when we asked for it.
We are guessing the room below ours complained about the noise since the maintenance guy showed up the next morning asking if he could fix the AC.
He ended up “fixing” the AC noise but the AC still wasn’t chilling the room and blew warm air throughout. It was quite an uncomfortable stay.
- Michel (10/5): - Easy to get to. Large rooms.
- Ken (8/5): - Very clean generous sized room friendly staff
- Jocelyn (10/5): - It was a very nice hotel! very clean and very cozy. Staff was super friendly. We had a very great stay. We were provided with complimentary breakfast, and the location was great. Peaceful and easy to get around. It was a short distance from the majority of the places we wanted to visit.
- Mohamed (10/5): -
- Fahad (8/5): - Big room
Cleanliness
- Karthik (10/5): - It was a pleasant stay over all!
- Kelvin (10/5): - N
- Hermann (8/5): - Good
- Mohamed (4/5): Disappointing - Convenient location
Availability of parking Every time I check-in here, the receptionist charges my credit card again although I pay at the time of online booking via booking.com
They are unable to verify my payment in spite of showing them the confirmation email.from.booking.com
Breakfast MUST have options for diabetic guests. Include sugar-free options
Ongoing road work for many months now right in front of the hotel causing a lot of traffic due to lane reduction
- David (10/5): - Great stay
- Remi (4/5): - Check in was bad. They had a glitch with their computers. Couldnt get a key for our room. Breakfast is not the greatest. Not enough variety. Ask for extra face clothes, got told to go back to our room and they would get someone to bring it to us, after 30min had to go back dwn and ask again for it. Cant say much about room. Was very clean, comfortable bed.
- Madelynne (8/5): - Cons:
Pool was gross. Our room faced the highway and it was VERY noisy. The bathroom wasn’t super clean.
Pros:
The little kitchen area was great. Fully equipped. The breakfast was nice and they even have gluten free bread!
- Qiang (6/5): - The first room was given me had broken door, which I was not able to open. The room I stayed had bad noise came from the street and construction site. Big construction activities was beside the hotel and created bad traffic.
- theoc566 (10/5): Shelly - The lady that serves breakfast through the week is named Shelly she works very hard always make sure we get what we want nothing runs out she doesn't stop I appreciate everything she does she's a hard worker there was a volleyball tournament must have been lease 50 60 people have a breakfast that poor girl ran all day making sure everybody was happy thank you Shelly we all appreciate you and your hard work
- Michael (10/5): - Nice place and staff
- Karen (6/5): - We booked two rooms for a family gathering in Edmonton. The king size room was good, but the 2 bedroom was disappointing. The a bathroom area was small and dirty with what looked like blood and hair in the tub/shower drain, and the sink area was very small for getting ready. The furniture and beds were not very comfortable and I woke up with a sore back every day. The quality was cheap all around from the furnishings to the towels.
We originally were going to bring our dog which is why we booked at this hotel because they are dog friendly. However I let them know several days before that we were not bringing our dog, yet they still charged us for it. The front reception was friendly and removed the charge no problem but it’s the little things that add up along with all the major construction around it which always kept us in traffic trying to just get to the hotel, that lead us to not leaving a good review.
I would not stay here again.
- Chantel (2/5): - If i could give our trip to this hotel a -star i would. Definitely will not be back. The pool was getting fixed which is why we booked this hotel. The hot tub was barely working there were no jets and luje warm. When we asked the maintenance guy he had no clues what to say other then thats how it works. The cleaning products smelled horrible. There was no wifi when we called down to get it fixed the maintenance guy had no clue how to fix it. We also found out they charge you everyday for wifi. There was construction beside the hotel so most of the parking stalls were taken by the workers. We had to ask why there was no room cleaning either as we were staying 2 nights we were told they only clean the second day or you have to request a room clean. Absolutely ridiculous to try and get towels even brought to the room. The whole experience was disappointing when you travel and expect to have a decent hotel experience.
- Mohamed (8/5): Very good - Accessable location from the highway
Breakfast included Although I booked and paid online in advance (2 weeks), the hotel records did not show my payment confirmation which delayed my check-in.
- Delilah (8/5): Very good -
- Jose (8/5): Very good -
- J.R Cameron (10/5): - I like it I like to stay here again
- Christina (8/5): - This is a beautiful and affordable hotel. We enjoy that it has a pool and complimentary breakfast. The suites are clean and comfortable. I love the big walk in showers.
- dalee479 (10/5): I found the front desk staff to be friendly aswell as exyrely - I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. I extend a special appreciation to nick for the general conversation we had when I had restless night thankyou for your outstanding service also to the ladies at the front desk who bring warmth and cheer to every passing guest with thier charming smiles.
Thank to all.
- Jasmine (10/5): - There was a big variety for breakfast. Pillows and beds were very comfortable. Very family friendly with an area for mini sticks and an easter scavenger hunt.
- Nicole (10/5): - The front doors are locked after 11pm I believe so felt very safe and the front desk people were very helpful with our late arrival with a smooth check in experience.
- Larissa (8/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff
Easy checkin and checkout
Laundry facility was helpful
Comfortable beds
Nice blackout curtains
Decent breakfast, would have loved some healthier options like plain yogurt, granola etc..
Wifi on the 4th floor didn't work
Water pressure in the shower was very low
Inadequate bathroom lighting
Comforters without duvet covers was not ideal
Cleaning supplies used in common areas where painfully strong smelling
Rooms could use some updating, artwork, carpets etc..
Pool area had too much chlorine
Heating unit was powered off but the central heating continued to make the room too hot at night
- Sandra (10/5): - Great staff! Some restaurants across the street, close drive to head to Nisku or South Common shopping and eating areas. I used to stay here for a month when I moved to Canada and this place is top notch for being a suite with kitchenettes. Highly convenient. My short visit this time around was just as amazing!
There is currently some construction going on, and I will plan maybe 10 minutes ahead if you are to be scheduled somewhere. Other than that, this place will be great!
- Ashley (8/5): - Right off QE2, Great Location, Friendly Staff, windows do not open; all controlled by fan, some upgrades needed in the suites but overall 3.5/5
- Chantal (6/5): - I wouldn't return. The room smelled bad when we arrived, the walls are not sounproofed so you hear every noise, and a couple arguing very loudly in another room woke me up in the middle of the night and kept me awake.
There was also a nasty looking cushion on the couch that I grabbed with gloves and threw in the closet.
The breakfast buffet was underwhelming.
There are tons of hotels in Edmonton, I'll find something else next time I'm here for work.
- Tracy (10/5): - Everything was great!! Lots of road construction going on. Other than that was a good 2 night stay
- Bella (8/5): - It feel good to be der
- John (9/5): Gem of a hotel with an amazing full kitchen and a large bathroom. - King Suite Studio with a full kitchen, including a full sized fridge/freezer, two hot stove burners, dishes, pots and you can borrow rice cookers, blenders, slow cooker exceeded our expectations. The only issue is that we didn’t find this gem of a hotel sooner. Breakfast was good, very basic but it was very clean. I wish there were some fresh fruit options. The waffle machines were at full capacity, as there was a couple of hockey teams there, but we just went with the flow.
- Angela (4/5): Unfortunately not very comfortable - Our bed linen was torn with two big jokes in urge bottom sheet , mattress caved in the middle.
- Mwangi (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ben (10/5): - Place was in an easy access location very clean and had a kitchen. Great price for what I got
- Susan (10/5): - Check in process was good
- Glady (10/5): - Staff was amazing! Front desk let us use breakfast area to eat our own
- Gilbert (10/5): They take guest satisfaction seriously! - I highly recommend this hotel! The staff is dedicated to guest satisfaction, with a great morning briefing led by the manager.
The breakfast was delicious, thanks to the kitchen staff for constantly refilling the trays. The room was spacious, with a handy kitchenette, and we got a great deal for our stay. A fantastic experience overall!
- Jeremy (10/5): - Very nice, great room and excellent breakfast!
- Tracy (10/5): - We have stayed here several times and always find the property clean, the staff friendly, and the room as expected and comfortable. We appreciate the kitchen space in the rooms and the privacy allowed by separate bedrooms when we travel with our children. The property is very easy to access due to its location and is close to many stores and services.
- Arron (10/5): - Great service! Cows. Rooms and delicious breakfast!
- Waqaruddin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bunjoon (8/5): - Thanks
- Charles (8/5): Very good -
- sandra (10/5): - Spacious room
- Cleo (8/5): Friendly and lovely staff! - Front staff were lovely and amazing, letting us know there were hockey teams checked in and if we had any issues to call right away. Informed us of the continental breakfast offered and when the best time to get it. The feather pillows were the only downfall, really flat and had to stack two to get some support for our heads. Other than that it was a good experience!
- Steven (4/5): Disappointing - Very disappointed; musty smell in corridors upon arrival and when entering the room. Bed was hard and pillows were the worst I've ever slept on. The AC/heater also wasn't the best. Pool had too much chlorine and the hot tub jets were not working. WIFI was a joke. We skipped breakfast based on the quality we had received. I don't recommend this hotel.
- Clifford (9/5): Very nice hotel, incredible room, friendly, helpful staff - I came to town for surgery, the hotel was close by. It is a very nice place, I wish I could have used more of the facilities and options, such as breakfast, coffee. The cleaning staff were also amazing and very helpful Being on medication not getting to go for breakfast, and sitting and having a coffee, also our room was directly across the road from CHOP steak house
- Mark (8/5): - Quiet
- Christine (10/5): - it was all good.
- Delilah (10/5): Relaxing and cozy - Everything Not a thing
- Nina (8/5): Very good -
- Anu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nathan (10/5): - It was good.
- John (10/5): - I didn't find the location convenient
- MinYoung (10/5): - Good service
- Douglas (10/5): - The people are very friendly and we loved our room because of the kitchen that built in and the friendly staff that we come by and clean up the room.
- Melanie (8/5): - The rooms were very clean and a great setup. The kitchen was well designed and it was nice to have a medium size fridge instead of the normal small hotel sized fridge.
I liked that the artwork in the hallways was of Edmonton places.
The staff were super accommodating when I ran into vehicle trouble and it caused delays with my check out plans.
My only complaint was that the hot tub was not very warm and the jets were not strong at all.
I would definitely stay at this facility again!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Decided to go with a two bedroom suite at a very reasonable rate. The room was excellent... clean, roomy and comfortable. Entire hotel very clean, pool and hot tub were nice as well.
- Pamela (8/5): Very good -
- Bisola (10/5): - I visited Towne’s place again after a long time and it did not disappoint. Still very clean and safe.
The staffs were more friendly this time and welcoming. The kitchen ladies were amazing and breakfast was decent. The receptionist responded promptly to calls and were more helpful with replacing room keys.
Overall, we had a great experience and I am back to staying in this hotel after a year of not going back there due to poor customer service.
- Laura (10/5): - The staff were really great. Super friendly and quick to respond to requests. The pool was clean with lots of towels available.
- Richard (6/5): - Decore is starting to look like it needs some redecorating. staff was pleasant and efficient.
- Caroline (8/5): - Construction made parking lot and access dangerous and confusing
- Wendy (9/5): It was a great stay in a great location, with all the amenities we needed! - Great location just off Ellerslie Road! Good parking! Nice reception and lobby, spacious room and large, sparkling clean and bright bathroom. Super comfy beds, quiet and secure. Nice breakfast in the morning. Easy checkout.
- Jessmer (4/5): Disappointing - Very dirty comforter. It had somebody else’s pit mark, blood, and nasty stuff. Just found out on the last night of our stay.
- Barbara (8/5): - Clean, newer, spacious, beautiful bathrooms, and great breakfast.
- Jessica (8/5): Edmonton - Was very comfortable, washing produces were good . Very clean and friendly and good location.
- Ali (10/5): - Excellent services.
- Alicia (10/5): - Nice place
