Traveller (2/5): - Unterkunft war überbucht, was kein Fehler von Expedia, sondern der Besitzer war, für Ihre emails nicht lesen. Das gleiche Problem ist bei einem anderen hast am nächste Tag ebenfalls aufgetreten. Der Besitzer selbst ist sehr nett, hat dich mehrfach entschuldigt und mir bei der Suche nach rüber anderen Unterkunft geholfen. Seine Frau jedoch war schon genervt als ich ankam. Man hat mit nach einer Reise von über 20 Stunden nicht einmal etwas zu trinken angeboten. Stattdessen bin ich in eine streirwrei zwischen Besitzer und dessen Frau geraten, die sich gegenseitig lautstark die Schuld für die Überbuchung zugeschoben haben. Als ich die Wogen glätten wollte und die guten Bewertungen sowie das angeblich gute Essen angesprochen habe, ist der Streit eskaliert, da die Hausherrin das Restaurant schließen will, der Besitzer aber nicht. Sie schleuderte mir Dinge entgegen wie "you ruined my family", "you destroyed everything" und "disappeare from the face of this earth" und wollte mich vom tuktuk abdrängen, das mich nach langem hin und her in die nächste Unterkunft bringen sollte. Alles in allem absolut das Gegenteil von Gastfreundlichkeit und eines freundlichen Empfangs.
Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a high end backpackers type place ran by lovely people who could not do enough for us. They cook great food and were happy to accomadte our special dietary requirements. The location is pretty remote with not much to do which suited us for a few days.
Verified traveler (8/5): Adresse root - À notre arrivée, notre chambre ayant été attribuée, nous avons été surclassés. Plutôt bonne nouvelle sauf que la salle de bain n'a pas de toit. Très agréable par temps chaud, beaucoup moins par temps de pluie. Les repas sont faits maison avec des produits frais mais le prix est un peu élevé par rapport aux prix pratiqués au Sri Lanka. Peut être parce que le choix est restreint dans le coin. Le cadre est très sympa, très calme. Le propriétaire tres sympa, tres dispo, il nous a organisé une sortie d'observation de dauphins. Le prix a légèrement augmenté entre notre accord et la sortie - mais une séance snorkeling a été rajoutée, qui ne vaut pas le coup car le corail est mort. Mais le.prix reste intéressant, une vingtaine d'euros à quatre. Et les dauphins étaient au rendez-vous. Une bonne centaine.
