- Jason (4/5): Crazy Gallatin Hotel - The room was dated and smelled like moth balls on they walked in without knocking before check out. Was a kid no more no older then 13 years who checked us in

Only complaint I have is that when we were trying to get our stuff out to load the car to leave the housekeeper aw us and asked if we were checking out. I told her we weren't quite ready yet. While we were loading the car with the first things we took down she stood at our door watching. We went back up to get the rest of our things and she still stood there waiting. At that point it felt like we were being rushed out of there even though we still had well over an hour before checkout time.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - Asking for illegal certification for a service dog that is not real. Service dogs, by ADA law do not have a legal certification in the United States. Tennessee, by state law, also does not have a certification for service animals.
- Anthony (2/5): - Biggest scam ever. I bookrd a room, and was only allowed to put in the day i was in. It was after midnight. So when i showed ap at 2 am i was told they did not have the room i requested, and my reservations were for 3pm. I was offered 2 queen beds in a smoking room. And i was told i can not get a refund. I will never stay there, and i will not use expedia for any future travels.
- Anjela (2/5): - This was the only option we were able to book last minute, but nowhere it stated that we will get a room that is a smocking room, that it is not fully renovated, there was no room number attached on the door. We got there at around 3 am as Nashville hotels were all sod out. We paid over $250 for the night for the room that i think should not be rented at all. on the reception they made us to sign that no smocking is allowed in the rooms, but the level of smock smell that we experienced in the room was so bad that I can still smell that on my bags and clothing that we had on.
- michael e (4/5): - Light sleeper alert! Noisy all night long. Nearby train crossing, blasting horns several times at night. Also traffic lights at Broadway intersection leading to jake-braking semi trucks and drag racing Nascar exhaust pickups Good water pressure in the shower though

However when we were checking out we were approached by a man snd a woman in a car that wanted to know if were were checking out, early, and if they could give us $20 to rent our room till our original checkout time.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - Rooms located within feet of a major highway, County medical center right down the street..sooo ... traffic & sirens all night, also located within a block or so of the Railroad, which is nice when the Ol' Cannonball rolls through & blares her warning whistle at 3:30AM. Walls were splattered with some unknown substance. Bed covers had numerous stains of unknown origin. Lamp shades were dusty and greasy. Canister lamp didn't function. Bathroom door would not close, hinges loose, had to get my tools out and repair it. The motel is within a couple of blocks of the beautiful downtown district.

- Erik Mattias (2/5): uninhabitable room - Room we got was simply uninhabitable. It was hot, like sauna hot. We checked in 11 pm, checked out 4 am as we were not able to sleep in that room. I asked for re-fund. Obviously got nothing. Ventilation in bathroom was shut with bolted plastic plate. There was no air circulation and air-conditioning was unable to cool room even after 5 hours. Beds were extremely soft to the level that you simply sink into the bed. As they were hot as well it made situation even worse. Sunk into hot bed in the hot room and unable to sleep due to lack of air.

- Eric (8/5): Great stay - Dont let the outside of the place fool you the rooms are very clean and updated. The only true down side is the noise from the street which they have no control over. You cant beat the price or location. Being within walking distance to the sqaure was amazing.

The hotel was noisy with people and traffic and it was much more sketchy than the pictures led me to believe. Also, it's like passing an act in congress to get more towels.
- nancyrX3977ZH (4/5): Gallatin, TN fallfest - Nice inside New sink,granite counter, new furniture and very comfy bed. very clean except for carpeting...needs to be replaced. A couple things in our room still needed attending...cigarette burns on the bathtub, broken handle on the bathroom door and blow dryer was broken. They gave me a new blow dryer right away.I believe this to be a family owned place they are fixing up. Even though this is right on 31 and there was a lot of traffic were not able to hear much and slept well. A plus right around the corner..Gallatin town square with local shopping, restaurants and coffee shops. All within walking distance. Also we had the luck of staying during the Oct fall fest which marks the end of summer.

- angelsfuste (8/5): Clean and comfortable hotel - Clean and comfortable hotel. Kind and helpfull staff. The best of the hotel was that there were plenty of plugs throughout the room to recharge our electronic devices. We booked a room for three people (a couple with a kid), and there was only one extra-large bed for the three of us. We would have enjoyed a second bed for our daughter.

Went out for family reunion return to hotel could not get in hotel room had to go back to the office to get key reactivated Refrez was never cold, couldn't get computer to work no 800 # to call
- 150marvinb (4/5): It was a bit CHILLY! - I checked in by myself, it was just a delivery drop off but I needed some rest. My head didn't hit the pillow till about 10:30pm then I woke at 1:15 am freezing my tail off. I got up and went over to turn the heat up and 'zilch' it wouldn't go no higher than '62' WHAT? I like it a little warmer than that. I got under the covers and tried to go back to sleep and couldn't so I packed and left at 2am in my warm truck...
- Scbrav (2/5): Gross - My first complaint is when I made my initial booking I made my reservation at 11 42 in the morning and when I was sent my confirmation it said that I had done my booking at 8 o'clock in the morning which is not accurate I did it through their site so if I wanted to the next day I would have had no time to call and cancel my reservation well that's exactly what happened I called at 9 o'clock the next day because I found a cleaner place in the area and they told me I could not cancel my reservation because it had already been 24 hours except it wasn't considering the time that I did my initial booking. Then I requested a non-smoking room and my reservation headset smoking room so when I got there after I couldn't do a cancellation they said there were no non-smoking rooms ok well that is not her fault but when I specifically request one when I do my booking and I get the opposite obviously not going to be happy. So my husband and I suck it up and go into the room which of course smells disgusting because it's a smoking room again not the lady at the desk fault butt there were stains all over the carpet the blankets were dingy and gross, and the table that they had in there you can clearly see hadn't been cleaned in a while. I've been to nicer hotels for cheaper this place is a terrible choice for anyone wanting to travel I would not recommend this to anyone
- Bjlm71 (10/5): Feels like home - My husband and I travel alot with his work. So we stay at a lot of hotels and this one has been my favorite so far we have been here almost 2 months. The room is always clean and everything is always in working order. The WiFi is always fast and the water pressure in the shower is fantastic after a long hard day at work. We will always stay here when we are in Gallatin.

- 20RobB (4/5): You get what you pay for - The only reason I stayed here is because of the price. I arrived around 9:30 - 10:00 pm and it took forever for the clerk to get in the room. Out side does not look that great but they do have a lot of security cameras around. The room was clean and cool, but only had a sheet and a cover, but no blanket. Shampoo came in small pouches. They did not serve breakfast. There is no pool.
- JilleenS (10/5): Excellent Wifi, saved me when I had to leave another hotel - I had to leave another Gallatin Hotel. I was up until 1am struggling with the internet at the other hotel, and after morning meetings I struggled again. Their 3rd party internet supplier claimed there was nothing wrong, but agreed to work on it, the next day! not good for a business traveller. I just checked in at the Legacy Inn and the wifi is fast and strong, the room is clean, the front desk person was excellent and fast.
- JimiD564 (4/5): Oh My God, SCABIES - The place was not great, but I just needed a place to sleep so that was not an issue. In the morning I woke up itching. By the end of the day I realized that I was covered with SCABIES. That evening I called and asked for a refund and they told me I should have asked for it that morning. That morning there was no one in the office and I had to go to work. He said he would have the mgr call. He didn't. I called again the next day still no mgr. The clerk said paraphrasing "too bad you didn't ask sooner." I got no apology what so ever. They have the heavy dark colored comforters on the beds and they obviously were not washed fresh before I got there. I guess I should have asked for a "no scabies room" but I thought that would be implied. It isn't.

I was leery and inspected the bed carefully! No pool or "free" breakfast, but that's okay!
- Justhorsey (4/5): Not a good experience - We stayed at this motel 2 nights and were disappointed. We couldn't get in due to room not being clean to begin with and we had requested a non-smoking room and when we walked into our room it was reeking of cigarette smoke. So we complained and were moved to another room, which we thought would be better. It was better, but still had an odor. The 2nd night they had us to move to another room. which we really didn't understand. The 2nd night was horrible, the room was infested with roaches crawling everywhere. The only plus that we benefited by was that it was close to the ball park where we had a tournament to participate in. We definitely will not stay here again.
- Ozcfied (2/5): Not The Best In Town - At $56.55 (including tax) this is still overpriced. The rooms are actually a decent size...they're just not decent. The room I was given hadn't been cleaned properly and there was still used shampoo bottles and soap in the tub. After they cleaned it (apparently for the second time) I was able to check in. I found a broken crack pipe in my room - this after they had 'cleaned' it TWICE! They don't do breakfast here. The property itself appears to be located right at the edge of the hood. It's' also right next to 'Teen Nightclub' so as you can imagine on the weekends the area is full of teens. Which is interesting as during the day there was a hookier (who was staying in one of the rooms) hanging out in the parking lot. To be honest there are so many other motels in this town I just can't imagine anyone picking this one if they didn't have to. I couldn't in good conscience recommend this property to anyone other than a crackhead or a hooker...
