Fernando (10/5): It was a peaceful and comfortable place to relax and enjoy a good night sleep. - The location was fine with me. A friend dropped me off and picked me up. The surrounding is magnificent. I loved the atmosphere. The room and the bed were perfect. I had a great night sleep. The continental breakfast was as good. I couldn't make coffee machine work though. It could have been my fault. There was nothing I didn't like.

Tehmeena (6/5): We were looking forward to our stay but it fell somewhat short of our expectations. I would like to think that this was - Great location. Fridge in the room. Coffee maker. Unfortunately our room hadn’t been cleaned after the previous occupants on our arrival. We arrived after the check-in time stipulated on booking.com, having informed the owner of our expected time of arrival via the website. This was rather disappointing after a 4 hour journey in the heat. The armchairs in the room were still untidy from the previous occupants which made me feel a little uncomfortable. We didn’t want to trouble the owner by asking for shower gel. The dispenser was empty, and we’d already asked a barrage of questions relating to WiFi password/ iPad password/ availability of a fan. The fan heater supplied didn’t help much unfortunately and although the heatwave is in no way the fault of the owner, a simple table fan might be a wise investment. The owner was good enough to supply us with a bowl of ice.

Things that made it great; - Lovely fluffy white towels - robes - outdoor seating area - quaint property, in a quiet peaceful location - personal touch meeting is when we arrived - nespresso machine with fresh milk in the fridge - fresh and crisp decor, well done throughout (cute little touches with the little orange foxes dotted about) - great shower absolutely roasting - climate control in the room Was really pleasantly surprised when we arrived by the quality of the place. Bit hard to find it especially as it was dark when we arrived, maybe a what 3 words could be added as the Sat nav doesn't take you to the location.

Julie (10/5): Relaxing, peaceful, decadent, special - We loved everything about Bridleway Bed and Breakfast. The room was charming and spotless with comfortable chairs and beds. The attention to detail and hospitality were outstanding. Fresh milk, warm scones and clotted cream made our arrival immediately welcoming and relaxing. Jane was helpful and friendly and brought an amazing hamper with breakfast goodies each morning. The ipad in the room meant this could be ordered easily and quickly the night before. Local information was easy to read on the device with key contact details (e.g. eating out/transport etc). The location was wonderful-peaceful and rural yet only 10min drive from the city. Table and chairs outside meant we could relax outdoors as well. We had a wonderful time and will be back! We liked everything!

The owners have taken a lot of time and care in furnishing these rooms, each one is different, but very well done - attention to detail etc. Complimentary biscuits and water provided. Breakfast was great - a good selection and cooked to order. Would certainly stay again.
