• Clarence (9/5): A very convenient choice if you’re visiting the Paestum archeological ruins. - Perfect location to walk to the Paestum archeological site, close to a row of charming restaurants, with free parking within the property gate, and an outstanding breakfast. My room was in the upper dormitory floor, and while I didn’t mind the absence of an elevator, I was awakened each of the two mornings I was there by the pigeons nesting in the corner of the roof. They made quiet a ruckus. I’d encourage the property to try to pigeon-proof the roof near these rooms.

Lots of restaurants to choose from that a re e walking distance. You can walk to the Archeological Park as well. Highly recommend

Le restaurant n'était pas ouvert mais nous avons eu de très bons conseils pour un diner a deux pas. Personnel attentif et très sympa.

En el camino, varios restaurantes y bares. Nosotros íbamos en ruta hacia el sur y sólo era una pernocta en el camino, pero nos encontramos un joya sin haberlo planificado.

• Luca (10/5): Hotel assolutamente consigliato a pochi metri dai templi - Mi capita molto spesso di viaggiare, sia per svago che per lavoro, e soggiorno in decine di hotel ogni anno. Ho scelto questo hotel per la posizione (area pedonale dell'area archeologica, a pochi metri dai templi), e per la valutazione alta delle recensioni in relazione al prezzo onesto. Al nostro arrivo sono stato piacevolmente sorpreso, sia per le foto che finalmente corrispondono alla realtà, che per la gentilezza e la competenza alla reception. Dalla proprietà all'intero staff, è stata una sorpresa e notare l'attaccamento al proprio lavoro. Fanno di tutto per coccolare i clienti e si mettono a totale disposizione dispensando consigli sulle visite o sui ristoranti da provare (ristoranti a poche decine di metri). La villa patrizia dell'800 è stata finemente restaurata, con un'attenzione maniacale al dettaglio e con buon gusto. Le camere sono spaziose e inondate di luce da finestre enormi, tipiche dell'epoca. Inutile sottolineare la pulizia, con l'aggiunta di fragranze per profumare i vari ambienti. Colazione abbondante e con prodotti tipici di qualità. Prezzo assolutamente onesto. Parcheggio enorme e gratuito per auto e moto. Direi nulla

• esw19106 (6/5): Do not drive past hotel entrance and enter pedestrian zone - The hotel is in a great location for visiting the temples. The room was nice, well air conditioned, and the garden setting is beautiful. However a major flaw, and the reason for my writing this review 9 months after our stay, is that it is very easy to miss the driveway to the hotel off the Via Tarvernelle. The signage is terrible, and just past the turnoff is a sign for another hotel that is easy to mistake for the Tenuta Duca Marigliano. The problem is that if you pass the turnoff, the road becomes a pedestrian zone at particular times. This will be indicated by a red light that is very easy to miss if you are distracted by searching for the correct hotel entrance. The result for me: a hefty fine, which I was informed about by mail only this past week. So be warned! Another disappointment with the hotel was its restaurant, Casa Coloni. We found it pretentious with very average food. It may now be permanently closed, so I hope the hotel will rethink its dining offering to more reflect the local cuisine.

This time, I brought my mother and friends along, hoping to impress them with this beautiful boutique hotel — and it exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. A special mention goes to the charming and professional hotel manager, Ciro. Dressed to perfection, he made our stay extra special. He was incredibly attentive, offering thoughtful recommendations for local restaurants and sharing his lifetime knowledge of the Paestum area. He even helped us arrange a taxi to our next destination, making everything seamless and stress-free. The hotel itself was just as I remembered, with a peaceful atmosphere and attention to detail that makes it feel personal. We highly recommend staying here — and if you’re lucky enough to meet Ciro, you’ll be in the best of hands! We stayed in 3 different rooms, each one unique and perfectly cleaned; The attic room, superior room and the standard garden view room.

Surprisingly close to the archeological site - easy to walk there within 10 mins. There are lots of restaurants nearby. Breakfast was varied and tasty. Staff were helpful and kind.

The water pressure and temperature control was perfect. The common areas were clean and very well maintained. An elevator was available. The breakfast facility was clean and quiet stunning. The food choices and quality were amazing. The staff were so friendly, helpful and efficient. The location was 300 m from the Paestum Park and Museum. A UNESCO world heritage site! The Temples are beyond words. The Hotel has restaurants and there are many choices just meters from the gate. We really enjoyed Zymi. The bed and pillows were a bit firm

Le stanze sono accoglienti con letti e cuscini comodissimi, zona esterna veramente molto bella e ben curata, perfetta per qualche giorno di relax. La zona relax necessita di un trattamento per quanto riguarda le zanzare. La scelta dei prodotti da colazione è veramente limitata per un posto così ben curato.

There was no one when we arrived (around noon). We weren't given any recommendations or tips for the local area.
