• Eliane (8/5): Ein guter Ort für ein paar Nächte in Strandnähe - Das Frühstücksbüffet ist sehr liebevoll und lecker gestaltet. Das Zimmer hatte einen schönen Sitzplatz zum Verweilen, die Mitarbeiterin an der Reception war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, während die Chefin sehr gestresst und genervt wirkte.

• Christof (8/5): Kleines und schönes Hotel. Toller Strand! - Check In problemlos. Frühstück entspricht dem Standard. Zimmer und Betten sind okay. Die Lage ist hervorzuheben, der Strand ist wunderbar. Feiner, sauberer Strand und super klares Wasser. In der Hauptsaison würden wir dort nicht Urlaub machen. Der Ort bietet alle Möglichkeiten, allerdings ist es ein reiner Touristenort.

In particolare ho apprezzato la posizione rispetto al mare, la cura del verde all'interno, l'ampiezza della camera (con il gradevole patio di fronte). Solo cose minori: il baretto sulla spiaggia potrebbe essere migliore; la colazione poteva essere un po' più fornita (ma era l'ultima settima della stagione e l'hotel stava per chiudere).

• Martina (9/5): - Sehr ruhige Lage, kurzer Spaziergang zum hoteleigenen Strand ( zusätzlich zu zahlen). Hoteleigene Strandtücher Schöne Gartenanlage und komfortable Terrasse. Das Frühstück mit großer Auswahl, jedoch ist nur ein Heißgetränk (Cappuccino oder Espresso) von der Bar inkludiert, der Kaffee aus dem Automaten ist nicht so gut (Nescafé). Frühstückskaffee Preis für Sonnenschirm mit zwei Liegen 40€/ Tag
• Tobias (9/5): Garantie zur Entspannung und zum Wohlfühlen im Herzen der Costa Rei - Geräumige Zimmer an der Costa rei. Bad war modern und offen mit Fenster. Die Betten bequem. Das Frühstück war üppig und abwechslungsreich. Der Service sehr nett. Das Hotel bietet hauseigene liegen am Strand an mit einem Preis <20 € (September). Wie kommen gerne wieder!
• Frank (10/5): - Ich würde gerne sechs von fünf möglichen Sternen vergeben. Sehr schönes Hotel mit tollem eingewachsenen Garten und super Poolanlage. Nur 200 m zum traumhaften Strand. Supermarkt und viele Restaurants in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Das Personal ist sehr nett und aufmerksam. Wir hatten einen medizinischen Notfall ( natürlich in der Nacht) . Das Personal an der Rezeption hat hervorragend reagiert und einen Rettungswagen alarmiert. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig. Cappuccino und Omelette werden frisch zubereitet serviert . Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft.
• V7556KOsueb (6/5): More effort needed - Not a 4 star hotel , 3 is more appropriate. The beach bar only served one choice, ham and cheese sandwich which is totally unacceptable for even a 3 star. Having just travelled south from a 3 star in San teodoro there was so much choice of food and snacks at lunch time it was amazing. Need to up your game
• Heidi (6/5): Eher enttäuschend - Gutes Frühstück, nettes Personal Zimmer muffig, Sitzplatz hat nach Katzen-/Hundepipi gestunken, ausgeleierte und kratzige Strandtücher, Renovation durchwegs mit aufgeklebtem Plastik (Boden und Toilettenwände), Nachhaltigkeit lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Wir waren zuvor in einem 3-Sternhotel in Villasimius, das halb so teuer und doppelt so gut war.

• E3520HHannah (2/5): Laud Music, and not family friendly, poor expierience - We booked our family holiday at Albaruja Hotel based on the promise of "an unforgettable holiday in Sardinia dedicated to relaxation and peace at a 4-star hotel with a swimming pool," as advertised on their website. Before making the reservation, I spoke with a member of staff to inquire about the hotel’s facilities and whether it was family-friendly. I was assured that the hotel was ideal for a family holiday. At no point was I informed about a major August festival scheduled to take place during our stay. Unfortunately, the reality was far from peaceful. The music from the festival was so loud that we were unable to sleep for an entire week. The walls literally shook from the noise, which was incredibly frustrating. Despite multiple complaints, the staff informed us there was nothing they could do, as the event organizers had obtained permits. To make matters worse, we were repeatedly reminded to keep our 3 and 5-year-old children quiet during siesta hours at the pool—hardly accommodating for a family-oriented hotel. Our TV didn't work for four out of the six days, and the staff made little effort to address this or to make us feel welcome. Their idea of compensation was a pair of earplugs, a minimal discount, and an offer to move us to another room—where the noise was just as unbearable. We didn't bother moving with all our staff. Had I been informed about the festival beforehand, I would never have booked this hotel. If you're looking for a relaxing, family-friendly holiday—especially in August—I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

В ванной комнате стойкий запах канализации. Постельное белье пахло плесенью и вообще жутчайшего качества постель, одеяло- одноразовое и в дырках, такое только на мусорку Крайне хамоватый персонал на завтраках, ребята не смущаются обсуждать гостей Музыка, до 0-30 на площади спать не дает.

• TMandGM (6/5): Nice enough stay, definitely not 4*, kind staff - Wonderful location, the Costa Rei beach is stunning with crystal clear water (perfect for families with children of all ages) and light golden sand, the beach is clean and in June, not too crowded. The hotel is 150m from the beach, right next to the hotel is a resto/pizzeria so if you arrive later in the day, lunch/dinner is easy albeit somewhat simple. Opposite the hotel is a little supermarket for anything extra you might need. Given all the facilities near to the hotel, a car rental is not necessary if staying for a few days in that area. Beware, inflation has hit Italy and it’s quite expensive to shop or dine out. What you’re paying for at Hotel Albaruja is prime location to the wonderful beach, but you will probably not go to the pool there as there are not enough shaded areas, and it’s scorching heat June through August, probably strategic to get the clients off premises. Breakfast was good quality but the selection is small and there were no fresh juices available, 1 concentrated juice put in a glass container and 1 big glass container of cold water. Coffee at the bar is charged extra from what I’ve gathered, the machine available for clients (self-service) at breakfast makes coffee but it’s not great. The room was clean and the bedding was fine but this is absolutely not 4* quality, it’s a good 3* max, which is fine depending on your expectations. Also their “bistro” does not serve a proper cooked lunch, a selection of sandwiches is what you’ll be offered, so the only meal you’ll probably eat there is breakfast. Treat yourself to dinner at the Aragosta restaurant less than 10 minutes away on foot, kind and efficient service with top quality food.
• Jo (10/5): Exceptional - The staff are really lovely, the rooms are great and the pool is excellent. Our room was on ground level which we loved as we are cycle touring. The breakfast was perfect - I loved that they served muesli, nuts, yogurt, honey and fruit and the coffee was superb. There were lots of other breakfast choices too (bacon, eggs, pastries, bread and jam etc). Really good! It was a particularly hot day (36 degrees} and the air conditioning in our room couldn't cool the room enough. We were room 101.

Very friendly staff. Very nice rooms with a balcony or terrace. Very good breakfast with lactose free choices and freshly made eggs or omelette.

Grounds are pretty and clean Staff are pleasant and helpful- I felt welcome and safe as a solo traveler. The rooms are slightly dated, which isn’t a problem for me but the walls are not sound proof at all- I heard everything in the room next to me including toilet flush and snoring. Comforter on bed and pillows smelt a bit musty. Probably best to get fresh ones

• Cv867 (10/5): Excellent little hotel in a perfect location - Beautiful little hotel in the most perfect location. Each room has its own little garden or balcony. The staff were extremely friendly, nothing was too much trouble and the beach is literally a 5 min walk. The rooms were a good size, with a little fridge and huge bed and probably the best pillow I’ve ever had . A little old fashioned but this really didn’t matter as everything was so perfect. Beautiful pool area and breakfast was also delicious. This was also included in the price. We were gutted we only had 1 night as neither of us wanted to leave. Thank you for a lovely stay :)

The rooms are very dark and dingy, with tired and faded décor and rickety worn out furniture. The Dinning room is not shabby chic but just shabby. There were flies on the food on the tiny little Breakfast table and there was very limited breakfast choice. Its more like a old fashioned Irish Bed & Breakfast We were extremely disappointed and we do not believe this is a 4 star Hotel. woudld NEVER go there again

Grounds and are well taken care of and wonderful to admire while you walk to and from your room. Our room was nice and had plenty of space to relax along with a balcony. The free breakfast is delicious and the beach club has great service. Loved the beach access which is situated right down the street and has a dedicated area for the hotel guests.

Let’s start with the good: Easy parking outside Receptionists are friendly and helpful Breakfast food selection is good You can borrow a parasol and chairs for the beach. They have a beach bar where you can get some cold drinks and nibbles. The bad: Pool is dirty, tiles are green, it’s also emptier than it should be. So are the paths around it, never saw anyone cleaning. Room was big but dark and dated, grey/brown walls and lighting don’t help. Bistro opens at 5:30 pm, nothing served before if you are in the hotel. Location is by the side of a busy road and local noise and music on weekends is loud. Breakfast staff is friendly but in need of training,it’s of plates on people’s tables they never cleared, even when they were free they didn’t have the initiative to do it without being asked

The beach is very nice and the hotel offers sunbeds and umbrellas for acceptable conditions compared to others. Nice pool area. Rooms a little bit dark, noisy and with old furniture. • Matteo (8/5): A nice place in Costa Rei - Location and proximity to the beach, shops and restaurants. Rooms are spacious and staff is very friendly. Hotel’s sun-beds are located on a descendent dune, which makes only the first row convenient to use. Rows two and three are quite uncomfortable. Breakfast is very average.

• Isabela (10/5): Exceptional - Had a very nice stay. Hotel is very close to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially the 2 receptionists. The rooms were cleaned every day. I would recommend this hotel as it was perfect for what we needed. Rooms are in need of a little update here and there and we noted they have already started to change things in ours which is a positive. Also would have loved more variance in the morning drinks with the choice for juice as I don't drink tea or coffee.
• Annette (10/5): It is perfect location, great service, well kept establishment. Would stay again. - We had an upstairs room which there are only a few of - they might be the premium ones. This offered us a little view of hillside and ocean instead of ground floor garden view. Bugs love my ankles, so I don't like the ground floor units, anyplace. Pool was amazing, beach area for reserved seating was fantastic. Very nice beach. We has a view room - but ended up on ground floor with "garden view". We did upgrade and move to upstairs, thankfully it was available. It would have been difficult to stay in the garden view ground floor darker room.

Breakfast was continental and could have had a few more options but I think that’s just a Brit not being used to it!

The location is perfect - by the beach with big choice of restaurants around the hotel as well as well stocked supermarket opposite. Rooms and garden reminded us luxury Caribbean hotels- quiet, beautiful garden on the front and the back of the room with bids keeping you company. Room was big and airy and had comfortable old fashioned cosiness about it. Bed was huge and comfortable and shower room is spacious. Breakfast gave plenty of choice and cooked omelettes of your choice is great. Staff went extra mile to make sure that we are comfortable and attended to all our needs. Excellent hotel for the monies
• CaitlinanTravels (6/5): Overpriced and outdated - It would be a decent 3 star hotel. The rooms are large and have individual patios/gardens. However, the rooms are very outdated. While the shower was updated, all furniture, decor, bedding, etc. were uncomfortable and outdated. You can walk to a market, restaurants, and the beach. However, the beach is definitely not the nicest beach. We paid to reserve chairs on the beach which we did not use and opted to go to a much nice beach, just a short drive away. We wouldn’t recommend.

Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful. It was a pity the bistro was not open for evening food as we would have eaten there a couple of times.

• Adrian (8/5): - Das Hotel ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Zimmer sind jedoch sauber und das Hotel verfügt über eine tolle Gartenanlage. Diverse Restaurants gleich um die Ecke. Sehr ruhige Lage was wir geschätzt haben.

Everything is suggesting a third holiday. It is highly recommended. Suggestion for improvement: add mosquito nets so guests use less air conditioning at night, when the breeze cools down the environment naturally.
• Rowdy (10/5): Valentina and Anjelica were so very kind! - The breakfast was very good every morning. They had a different selection each day and we were very impressed! Not applicable :)
• zoi (4/5): Good hotel but rude staff - The hotel itself was good, clean rooms and close enough to the beach. But the rooms have thin walls and you can hear everything happening in the rooms next door so you can't always relax. However, the bad thing about this hotel is the behavior of the staff and the fact that the hotel manager couldn't care less. We were screamed at in the rudest possible way by the person working at the beach bar because we incidentally sat at the wrong sunbeds that we hadn't "reserved". Although we immediately stood up and asked him not to be rude to us, he continued screaming and being aggressive towards us, which was so embarrassing in front of the other hotel guests. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior. I've travelled the world and never experienced such behaviour before in a hotel. But even worse, when i made multiple efforts to speak to the hotel manager over 2 days, I was told she could not be reached. A hotel manager should absolutely at the very least call a very upset guest even 2 days later, so this shows complete disregard over how staff behaves to guests and how much the hotel manager cares. This has been my worst experience in a hotel ever.

• Petr (6/5): Nice hotel at Costa Rei with kind staff but with mediocre value for money - In general the hotel is fine but the only thing that deserves acknowledgement is kind staff. The value for money the hotel charges for one night is disastrous - see below. In general the hotel is fine, kind staff, nice room with a view, a clean pool but... For the price 340€ / night in standard room one would simply expect services on the unbeatable level; which is unfortunately not the case. The breakfast does not meet the criteria to be amazed of - fresh vegetable missing, only two kinds of salami and cheese available. Hotel restaurant at the same or even worse quality than other restaurants nearby. Hotel pool opens from 8am to 12am and then from 3pm again, closes at 7pm. Abundant flies in the restaurant and also by the pool. Beach sun beds not included in a rate.
• nick (10/5): - IT WAS QUIET AND RELAXING THE STAFF WERE EXCELLENT AND THE POOL WAS IMMACULATE
• Ruslan (4/5): - 4 stars for this hotel is a quite a stretch of imagination - 3 starts tops for the rooms and hotel’s grounds. Rooms smell like mold, look and feel like 2-3 star motel with old furniture that is falling apart and moldy smell. Shower is the only feature here that remotely reminds of 4 stars.
• Dalila (10/5): I recommend this fantastic hotel! - the hotel is fantastic, nice rooms surrounded by a beautiful garden full of flowers, very nice pool, little gym which I used every morning. good breakfast with pool-view. great location: 5 min by foot to the beach, private beach for hotel guests. large and free car parking available for guests. LOVED IT !

• Katherine (6/5): Pleasant place to stay but a little rough around the edges - especially for the price. - Location was great - really close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Most of the staff were very friendly. Rooms felt quite basic for the price. The bed was not particularly comfortable. Breakfast felt a bit disappointing compared to similar places we stayed elsewhere.

• Stefanie (8/5): - Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Besonders loben möchten wir Franco, der uns an unserem ersten Tag ein ganz tolles Frühstück für unterwegs eingepackt hat. Aufgrund einer Exkursion konnten wir nämlich nicht am regulären Frühstück teilnehmen.
• Marcel (7/5): Good - Nice Hotel with a good breakfast buffet and privat beach. Rooms and furniture are a bit old, could need a renewable.
