The meal we had was amazing! Breakfast was good too - wide choice. The location made it easy for us to go for a walk with our furry friend too.

The food at the restaurant is perhaps slightly pricey - I don’t have a benchmark for the area. It is however, delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my meals there. It’s a great location for cyclists - there is even a workstand in the garage. Nothing.

- Pat (8/5): Lovely place off the beaten track for a quiet night. - We were the only guests, but they opened the restaurant to give us a lovely dinner and breakfast was also very tasty. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Parking was plentiful. The room was laid out well with a desk etc, though like many hotels a little small. Lift to upper floors a bonus. The room was very quiet, with the flow of the nearby river giving lovely white noise with the window open a bit. My bed could have been a bit more comfortable (firm for lying flat but a bit hard on the hips when lying on your side).

- 900pollyw (8/5): Good clean hotel with garaging for motorbikes - Stayed for one night on our way through to Slovenia and Croatia. Very clean, comfortable rooms with good hot showers and a very good standard of furnishings. However, very disappointed that we were informed on arrival that there was no restaurant service available that night. Having done 140+ miles on some very interesting roads (!) and having booked the hotel "knowing" we could relax at the end of our day without having to go out for food, this was not want we wanted to hear! Having said that, they did provide us with cold food - bread, meat, cheese, rice and fermented veg which was very nice, but not really what we had been looking forward to all day! So, maybe check availability of food when booking, other than that, a very good hotel!
- EGRoss85 (8/5): Good location for cyclists and walkers - A clean hotel with good parking and storage for bikes. Ideally located for Mont Zoncolan The room was a good size and had all we needed. Breakfast is included and the croissants are lovely. We ate 3 meals here. The menu doesn't appear to change. We had a lunch and two evening meals. The menu is in Italian but the waiter speaks fluent English and we are told, Russian and German. The hotel wasn't busy when we were there mid week but I could imagine it being so if there was a wedding or meeting on. The one waiter was stretched at times which means you have to be relaxed about service however we had time so it wasn't a problem. The food is simple with great ingredients cooked well.

Challenging itineraries for road bike including monte zoncolan and crostis, But much more than these 2 must-do's. Hotel is situated in a very quiet environment.

- craigf370 (4/5): You'd think it would be peaceful... - We booked here purely because it was close to Monte Zoncolan, and thought given Ovaro was small it would be quiet and peaceful. Wrong!! A wedding booked meant no sleep was had before 2am after the live band and fireworks at 1am all settled down. Room was a good size, but beds were hard and there was no Airconditioning Wouldn't stay here again
