• Jon (10/5): - Excellent hotel centrally located in old-town Geneva. It’s basic but does what it advertises extremely well. Single rooms are small, but that is why they are less expensive. Dyson fans in the rooms make up for lack of A/C. I can’t really think of anything lacking at this price point and location.

• Suzan (4/5): Rundown - The hotel was in a great area - near Jet D'Eau on Lake Geneva with tons of shopping and restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, the hotel itself was very rundown. Room was small and uncomfortable. Thankfully, we were only there for one night. Would not recommend for any longer than that!

• E.A. (8/5): - The location is fabulous! Steps from the main shopping streets and Public transportation. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and eateries. This hotel is simple and basic, however, it is a great value. The single rooms are tiny, yet the space is used well. A table with chair, TV a place to lay luggage, several hooks, a small closet with hangers. Firm mattress. The small bathroom also has space for toiletries, hair drier. Small shower but with very good water pressure. Very good breakfast, with scrambled eggs, links, bacon, potato, cold cuts, choice of cheeses, yogurt, choice of cereals, breads, croissant, etc. Delicious coffee. Couple of choices for fruit juice. Pleasant and helpful staff. The roof top terrace has an awesome view of the city. Good to know: the bathroom only has a cream soap in the shower and sink. Any other toiletries you need you will have to bring your own. No shower cap and wash clothes either.

The staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean, and the self-service kitchen was great. The breakfast was very good and had a lot of choices. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Geneva.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Excellent location, helpful staff. The room was small but clean and with a nice balcony. The view was breathtaking, both from the balcony and from the rooftop. When we stayed the lift was broken which my husband didn't mind too much but for me on my own carrying my luggage up four flights of stairs would have been very difficult. I think more effort could have been made with the decor; it was pleasant but plastic. However, it was absolutely ideally located and in the end I would stay there again.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Regular traveler - The sound proof system in the room needs to be improved . Every time the guest next to me moved or using the washroom, I could hear it. Also I have asked to have a room not close to the elevator but this was what I got. I did not rest well at all when I was staying there . I found it a bit noisy in the neighbourhood as it’s a lot of traffic on the street where the hotel is located . However the location is excellent and Christopher , the gentleman who worked on the front desk was extremely helpful. Also my room was big so , it is a bonus for staying there.

• Adrien (8/5): Bon hôtel mais trop de bruit - L'hôtel est idéalement placé, très propre, le personnel est sympathique, le petit déjeuner très bon avec possibilité si on le souhaite de le monter sur le toit-terrasse avec une sympathique vue sur la ville. Je suis cependant très déçu par l'isolation sonore : on entend tout. Ayant un sommeil un peu léger, j'ai passé une nuit infernale, réveillé au moins une dizaine de fois dans la nuit par des des portes qui claquaient, des gens qui marchaient et parlaient dans le couloir, bref une horreur. Dommage, l'hôtel est top sur les autres points mais quand je prends un hôtel c'est généralement pour bien y dormir...

Only criticism but couldn’t be helped was that the lift is very small.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - The location of the hotel was located in the down town core area. With that comes noise which made it hard to sleep. There was no parking at this hotel but not far down the road there was a large covered parkade we could use which the hotel said they had a deal with for guests. All you had to do was show them the card the hotel gave us when paying and you would receive a discount. Never received the discount the first day. Mentioned it to the guy at the hotel desk. He seemed puzzled but didn’t do anything about it. The day we left we even told the attendant at the parkade that we were staying at the hotel and still paid the 20 Swiss francs that the sign said you paid per day. When I booked this hotel on Expedia the price given at that time was not the price I paid per night for the room. I ended up paying 7 francs per night more plus the usual taxes. The breakfast was good. They offered bacon and eggs and hash brown potato along with the usual breakfast items.

• ポテチ (8/5): - ホテル入り口は分かりにくく、間違えて隣りのお店に入ってしまいました。レセプションはエレベーターで上がり2階になります。エレベーターはスーツケースを持って2人が限界です。荷物がなければ4人まで。部屋はスーツケースを広げると足の踏み場が無くなります。ヨーロッパのホテルに慣れていない方には狭く感じると思いますが、平均かなと思いました。これもヨーロッパで良くある事ですが、水回りは良くありません。洗面所の排水溝は手を洗った瞬間に詰まっていました。屋上からの景色が最高だったとどなたか書かれていましたが、期待外れでした。ただ、朝食は種類も豊富で大変美味しかったです。
• Walter (10/5): Essence of old Geneva - A charming hotel in the old city- we had a room with a balcony both a view on St. Peter’s Cathedral. We loved hearing the bells marking the hour.
• brigitte (10/5): Une perfection ! - Les lieux sont très calmes ; il y a beaucoup de salons, à l'étage de la réception et dans les étages de chambres ; même un piano ! tout est très fonctionnel ; il ne manque rien dans les chambres ni dans les espaces communs ; une buanderie, une petite cuisine permettent d'envisager un séjour de plusieurs jours confortable ; le buffet du petit déjeuner est exceptionnel, côté sucré (confitures, viennoiseries, muslis, etc) comme côté salé (œufs brouillés, lard grillé, fromages, etc...); la salle à manger est grande et jolie ; l'accueil est discret, efficace et très courtois ; la terrasse a une vue merveilleuse. Et la vieille ville est là, à la porte de l'hôtel.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Okay for a short stay - This hotel is well located in the old town, close to the cathedral. It has a good breakfast and their are good restaurants around. The hotel rooms were basic but ok, although it seemed a bit old and warn. The bathroom was good. The dyson fan in the room was needed in summer.

Rooms are just high enough, beds comfortable and a nice, powerful shower. The breakfast buffet has something for everyone.That’s all you need.

• Geoff (8/5): The bells, the bells - While the breakfast was great and the service was excellent, the hotel's proximity to the cathedral means that the bells can disturb sleep patterns. Air conditioning would help with this problem so that windows could be closed. One excellent thing they do is provide you with is a pass for the local trams and buses, but it is easy to walk into town and Lake Geneva is nearby

• Verified traveler (10/5): Fantastic Location - This hotel is a no frills place, but the location could not be better! We walked everywhere, except to the cable car ride and to and from the airport. The bus stops are very close . The staff were so helpful with public transportation decisions and directions. The roof top terrace is pleasant to use. There is no air-conditioning, but there are fans in the hall if you need one. We purchased the Geneva Pass on-line,-- it included public transportation and many free activities.

• richard (4/5): Don't stay here if you have options - Front desk people were unfriendly, never smiled. They made me feel criminal as the company forgot to send their credit card info. They give you a nice nespresso maker in room with a few pods and then you have to purchase the rest, even if you are thr for 3 days. They left one small towel for me to use for two days. Water took about 10 minutes to heat up. Pillows uncomfortable and flimsy. Next to church which bells ring every 15 mins. Gave me a hard time about storing luggage for half a day. Breakfast was satisfactory and flower arrangements around premises were lovely. But that's not enough. Dated room and dreary looking.

I was very disappointed the tea / coffee facilities are only offered on the day of arrival and you then have to pay chf 2 per capsule of tea / coffee thereafter! Breakfast was good although the hot items had long past the fressness state and was never replenished!

Staff extremely helpful - the Hotel gives you a free 2-day bus/tram pass and helpfully explain the bus routes. Great location and nice buffet breakfast. The ony regret I have is I didn't manage to check out the roof patio - next time!
• Dawn (8/5): Great Central Location - Certainly not fancy, but very well located in Geneva for seeing the area around the lake front, the old city, and the shopping area. Our room had a small balcony, was very clean and comfortable. Staff super helpful and accommodating. We had to leave early for our flight home, before breakfast was served so they packed us each a bag to take with us. Very kind!
