- Ravinder (5/5): - Restaurant food was lovely, staff in the restaurant are also very friendly. Staff in the lobby was also very friendly and helpful. The staff outside at the front of the hotel are rude and violent. Our taxi driver would arrive at the hotel and park at the front on the side still allowing another car to pass by but the staff would argue with him every day and tell him to park outside of the hotel grounds on the road and expected us to walk into the road to get into the car. This was happening nearly every day and would speak to the driver horribly and violently. For that reason I would be less likely to stay in this hotel.

- S (2/5): Needs a revamp, disappointing stay - Location To be very blunt, this hotel is not up to standards at all, and I'm just stunned at the ratings and reviews. Only thing going for it is the location. Perhaps the main guests staying here are Indian nations and think its ok, but the standards fell way below all the other hotels we stayed with on this trip to India and below the standards expected of a Radisson franchise, very little is going back into maintenance and renewal. I have a basic budget hotel in the UK and we have much higher cleaning standards. The 3rd floor where our rooms were had a feeling of being grubby, as well as the rooms. It's not just me the whole group felt the same for all 3 rooms. Starting with the rooms, the hotel is in desperate need of a refurb. There is clearly a damp problem in the building, this is because of the state of the bathroom tiles which need regrouting properly so water is getting into the walls and floors. The hotel has gone so far as to put diffusers in corridors to mask the damp smell. We had 3 rooms, 1 rooms was marginally better than the others. The bathrooms were mouldy with a damp smell, they needed a good clean, with the taps and shower screens properly cleaned with a suitable cleaner. The marble floors weren't clean, Chipped and damaged tiles in 2 ensuites, the rooms had damaged flooring. the fridge in one room made a terrible rattling noise,I had to pull the fridge out to switch it off and hit by a strong damp smell from the fridge area Mould and damp is actually a health hazard, its not good to breath and can cause all sorts of health issues. At some point the hotel has had a repaint, and who ever did it did a really poor job, you see paint marks where there shouldn't be because they have not been careful The manager acknowledged the deficiencies on checkout and claimed the hotel was going to be refurbished soon.

- Vidya (9/5): I shall come back again - The location of this property was in the cleanest area of Jalandhar, close to many shopping malls and restaurants. I was travelling in this area for attending a family gathering so it was a good place to stay. Location, cleanliness and the breakfast were all important factors for me to stay here. Staff was excellent. Live music during dinner was great to enjoy.

- D (8/5): Ramada Encore Jalandhar - The room of the hotel and facilities available were very good. Very clean, tidy and comfortable. The staff were very attentive, friendly lovely to talk too. From front desk, the dinner area and security outside. Would certainly recommend this hotel as the location is very good too. The rooms needs to be sound proof because of the amount of weddings parties that take place. Or the hotel needs to sound proof the banquet suite on the 2nd Floor so there's no disturbance for sleep for guests as the parties go on til 12am. So sound proof this and this hotel could be a 10/10.

Breakfast was delicious. I was visiting the nearby Desh Bhagat Yaadgar Hall, which was less than a 10-minute walk away, making the location perfect. I’d happily stay here again. It was a little on the expensive side, but overall I felt it was worth the price.

- HPL1977 (10/5): Return long term stay at the hotel staff make it feel like home from home. - Our second long term visit to this hotel we had a few rooms booked and what made us return was the previous visit as the staff were on point. Keep doing what you are doing thank you Balraj, Sagar, Varun & Mahesh for your exemplary service, my mother and I treat this place like home, you also on this trip accommodated my nephew with ease immediately with his allergies and am forever grateful, in fact he told everyone in London he wants to stay here when he returns to JLR. Staff are accessible, some junior staff have their moments but that's natural everyone's learning and we are all human, inform the Mgmt and they guide them well. Breakfast and Kitchen staff Sachin(Breakfast staff) by far is the (Taj/W/FourSeasons) type of chap any 5 star hotel would have, attentive to the core, approachable and will always remember what you eat and even if you have gone back to your table and forgotten a fork it will be put on your table before you get up, he liases well with the chef (Robin) in the morning to get you what you need and an asset and want makes my mother and I return. Chef Suraj, thank you for your wonderful food and off menu items required and adaptations. my mother who's a very critical cook loves your take on the food and is very happy. In essence this hotel for what you pay is made that much more better by the staff and in my eyes is a bargain. Yes the rooms may need updating a little but no doubt given the circumstances they provide you with everything you'd expect from a Ramada, I'd choose this over the other Ramada or Radisson as i find those more outdated and worn. The hotel is located at a central place and ease of accessibility to move around the places. - Maps41461952650 (10/5): Amazing experience and a must try for everyone. - The buffet was great so fresh so amazing snacks were outstanding and main course was more superb.. its a damm must try for everyone both locals and international people.. staff is very humble polite and cooperative.. treats everyone with high proffesionalism and respect. Would love to go again.
