• Swana (9/5): Good and central - The Lodge is really a beautiful place. Our room was spacious and close to the pool which we appreciated. Directly in nature and a bit off the usual Puerto Maldonado motorcycle traffic. Staff is nice. In a price range like this, it would be nice to get more than 1 towel per person and a few more amenities. If you plan to have breakfast in the restaurant, plan in a lot of time. Other than that, it's a good stopover before jumping onto Amazon tours :)

• HUA-YI (5/5): No window. No hairdryer. Overpriced breakfast. Unsafe stairways - It was a cold night during our stay, and the blankets in our room were not enough for that, plus there were no windows in the room. Be prepared if you’re staying here outside of summer time. When we asked for a hairdryer from the reception, we were told that someone else was using it and there was ONLY ONE HAIRDRYER FOR THE WHOLE HOTEL… we waited for our turn and reminded the reception again through WhatsApp, but there was no further update ever since. We could only let the hair dry in cold weather. Also the stairways to the room was long and steep without handrails. I slipped on the rocky stairs unfortunately. Breakfast was à la carte and clearly overpriced. After everything we went through, we immediately cancelled the future booking at this hotel and searched for another one. Glad that we did, because the lodge we stayed in the Amazon was pretty much the same as this hotel. Not worth it.

• Harold (9/5): - Situated in a great location on the banks of the river. Comfortable room. Great staff and healthy fresh food. Marco our guide for the 3.5 days was excellent and coordinated the excursions well. The lodge dogs were lovely. Saw a great variety of wild life on the various walks and boat trips including 3 types of monkeys up close. Met a nice variety of fellow travellers. We had an unseasonable cold snap so a warm shower ( as opposed to a cold one) on the last night would have been preferable but the cold spell was unseasonable.

• GERSON LUIS (7/5): Cosas por mejorar - Que el cuarto tenga aire acondicionado y que esté cerrado el cuarto para que no se salga el aire ni entren bichos. Me dieron una cóctel gratis y una pedazo de torta gratis, igualmente pusieron una tarjeta en el cuarto Solicite un vino unas copas para el cuarto incluso pague y me dijeron que parte de ese pago extra era garantía, al final no me llevaron el vino al cuarto sino a la mesa de comida y no me devolvieron la garantía. Hacia mucho calor en el rofftop y no ví ventiladores, el lodge estaba en mantenimiento y justo en la última curva para llegar a la habitación estaba destruido las escaleras de concreto. La piscina habré muy tarde y las mesas estaban sucias. Se demoran mucho al ingresar (deberían agilizar el ingreso). En la cena me dieron copas de distintos tamaño

• MY (10/5): Jättefint hotell med trevlig och personal och god mat på restaurangen. - Super fint hotell med fräscha välstädade rum. Rummet var stora och rymliga med otrolig utsikt över floden. området ligger precis i centrum nära butiker men ger samtidigt en mer djungel känsla. Deras resturang serverade god mat och deras personal är super trevliga och service minded. Klockrent! Om man tycker det är viktigt med smart tv med tex netflix så får man be om ett rum med det då vissa rum bara har kabel tv med spanska kanaler.

Auf den ersten Blick sehr schöne Anlage, auf den zweiten Blick ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und überall angefangene Baustellen. Keine Klimaanlage im Zimmer. Frühstück im dazugehörigen Restaurant - Lange Wartezeiten.

Wir hatten das Hotel nur für ein paar Stunden gebucht, weil wir noch so viel Zeit hatten bis unser Flieger ging. Die Zimmer waren sauber und für peruanische Verhältnisse okay. Die Außenanlagen befanden sich in einer Renovierung. Zeitweise war die Poollandschaft etwas abgelebt.

• Jerson Ruiz (7/5): Buena ubicación, pero con algunos sobre precios - La ubicación es excelente, cerca de la plaza y al puente famoso de la ciudad, además de tener una piscina con una excelente vista y un bar incluido. Al Inicio no tenía electricidad tuve que insistir para que lo solucionaran, lo cual fue incomodo estar regresando a recepción para ello. Los precios de los desayunos y bebidas son demasiados altos para lo que son.

Si può andare al ristorante accanto, ma non lo consiglio. La doccia è fredda. La pulizia della camera e della piscina potrebbe essere migliore.

• Tilly (7/5): Goed, netjes, hygiënisch verblijf - De lodges zijn keurig, de locatie is goed, perfect uitgangspunt voor alle jungletouren. Het personeel was enorm vriendelijk. De matrassen waren zeer hard (maar dat vinden anderen misschien prettig) en het ontbrak mij aan een koffiehoekje. Ik maak graag af en toe een kopje koffie als ik op de kamer ben.

• Maurice (9/5): - L'hôtel est très bien placé bien qu'un peu vieillissant. . Le personnel adorable et arrangeant. La végétation du lieu est incroyable la vue sur le fleuve est un joli plus. La piscine est géniale . Un petit bémol pour le niveau sonore trop élevé. Le rapport qualité prix est bon. Je conseille absolument.

• Sonia (3/5): Ver para creer - Nos cambiaron a la parte nueva pero estaba super sucia como cuando terminas la obra de un piso y no se limpia pues igual. X lo menos nos cambiaron de zona. Llegamos allí y nos querían meter en unos cabañas que se caían a trozos con una calor asfixiante ya q el aire no funcionaba y todo super sucio. Nos derivaron a unas instalaciones nuevas q de verdad q agradecemos y estaba sucio de terminar la obra de un piso así que ya no dijimos nada más xq ya vimos q era lo habitual y no arreglamos como pudimos. El personal un show allí nadie estaba x el trabajo era como ir a pasar el día al parque. Un caos es una lástima xq está en un enclave bonito pero necesita mantenimiento y estar pendiente del personal.

• Armando (9/5): Hermoso alojamiento y ubicación excelente para introducirse a la selva. - Nos encantó la ubicación y las vistas desde la habitación hacia el rio Madre de Dios, da la impresión de estar muy cerca de la selva, además en el alojamiento se pueden ver animales como perezosos y otros, el personal muy atento y dispuesto a colaborar. Creo que por el precio sería ideal poder contar al menos con un desayuno básico. Mejoraría también el servicio de wifi, ya que durante toda la estadía no funcionó adecuadamente, quizás por el número de personas que se conectan, porque funcionaba mucho mejor durante la noche o madrugada, lo reportamos, pero siguió funcionando mal, pero a pesar de todo el alojamiento es hermoso y recomendable.

The location was with a nice view on the river and only maximum 5 walking minutes to the main square. The AC in the room was not working so there was only a small alternative portable AC next to the bed. The installation was just with tape in the window so warm air from the outside was coming in the room. The restaurant next to the hotel "El faro" is horrible.

• Angela (3/5): Wi-Fi never worked, poor service and rooms unsealed so lots of mosquitos - Location. Right at the pier. The Wi-Fi never worked in our room for the entire stay, despite multiple reports and staff confirming the issue. Promised fixes never happened, and the problem remained unresolved even on checkout morning, forcing us to work from cafés. Reception communication was inconsistent and misleading, including contradictory explanations about room keys and mention of a $30 key fee if it gets lost that was never disclosed at check-in. Main concern: The room was poorly sealed, making the AC ineffective and allowing insects inside. Housekeeping standards were inconsistent (including entering our room without knocking). The pool shown in photos was very small and poorly maintained, and the restaurant service was poor, with staff ignoring us while trying to order. They also acknowledged this. Overall, the stay did not match what was advertised or expected for the price. We met the manager on our check out day and she offered us a 20% refund for our trouble.

El restaurante no es parte en sí del hotel, no podía cargar el costo de mi consumo a la habitación. A la habitación le hace falta una mesa y silla de trabajo, y un mosquitero en toda la mampara para poder dejarla abierta.

The beds were also equiped with mosquito nets! There’s a lot of noise around the area and the showers are cold. Not the end of the world if you have good earplugs.
