- Möbius (10/5): - Ich hatte einen traumhaften Aufenthalt im Schlosshotel Villa Westerberge. Die Lage ist wunderbar ruhig und perfekt, um abzuschalten und zu entspannen. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den sehr schönen Sauna- und Ruhebereich, der zum Verweilen und Erholen einlädt. Auch das Personal war außergewöhnlich zuvorkommend und aufmerksam – für jedes Anliegen wurde schnell eine passende Lösung gefunden. Man fühlt sich hier wirklich willkommen und bestens umsorgt. Kulinarisch wurde der Aufenthalt ebenfalls perfekt abgerundet: Das Abendessen war sehr lecker und mit viel Liebe zubereitet, und das Frühstück war reichhaltig und ließ wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Ich kann das Schlosshotel Villa Westerberge uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und komme sehr gerne wieder!

Das empfinde ich als nicht nachhaltig und kundenorientiert und der Kategorie des Hotels nicht angemessen.

Am ersten Abend gab es Schnitzel aus der Frisöse mit lappigen Bratkartoffeln und lauwarmen Championsoße. Das Frühstück war ok, aber sehr übersichtlich. Hätten neben dem Honig aus der Region auch selbstgemachte Marmeladen auf uns gewartet (und nicht aus dem Platik-Tiegel) hätte das den Eindruck stark aufgewertet, zusammen mit einer größeren Auswahl an Müsli und ein paar anderen Details.

- Chris (2/5): - Arrived at 10.30pm after a day of visiting clients and a long drive from Dusseldorf where we got held up in a lot of traffic to find out the hotel was closed no one was there and now stuck with nowhere to go. I hadnt noticed that in the small print it states check in closes at 10pm a detail I think should be highlighted not hidden in small details. Extremely disappointed no one tried to ring or message from the hotel to see if we were arriving. I accept we were late but would have been better for someone to contact us as we were only just after the cut off. They could have left the keys out for us but no they just locked up and left us stranded

Das Restaurant war leider geschlossen, so dass ich mir hier kein Urteil erlauben kann. Frühstück war eher Standard. Kein besonderes hochwertiges Angebot, kein frisches Obst, keine Kaffeemaschine, aber ausreichend. Der kleine Saunabereich war schön eingerichtet die Sauna ausreichend groß und ein schöne Ruheraum, das Fitnessstudio wird etwas zugestellt, ich denke das könnte man schöner einrichten

- Lisa (7/5): Lovely hotel and building but the mood of it is quite sleepy and sad. - Beautiful property and building right by a little lake. The hotel features a stunning winter garden overlooking the lake. We were visiting right after Christmas and it felt like the hotel wasn’t really prepared or in the mood for guests at that time. We arrived a bit after lunchtime and we’re told that they are cleaning up now after lunch so we can’t really use the dining area. In general it wasn’t possible to order any food outside of the lunch or dinner time it seemed. The hotel manager was super friendly and brought us a coffee to the winter garden area. Some music in there would have been nice as the hotel was just all in all a bit empty and quiet. But what really disappointed us was the breakfast. The options were so little, it just didn’t match the price or the surroundings. When you’re a vegetarian then it was even more disappointing. The cheese was almost empty when we came, there were no croissants, no fruit and very little vegetables. There was no oat or soy milk next to the coffee machine. The staff was nowhere to be seen so we also couldn’t ask for anything. They played the local radio in the breakfast area which frankly felt a bit like we were getting ready for our shift but not like we’re on a holiday- just some music would have been nice to take away the dullness.

- Thomas (8/5): Sehr schönes Hotel mit dem gewissen etwas - Sehr schönes Hotel in einem wunderbar hergerichtem alten Herrenhaus. Das flair das das Hotel zaubert ist wunderbar. Man fühlt sich in eine andere Zeit versetzt was aber nicht am Komfort spart. Das Zimmer war geräumig und gut ausgestattet.

Schönes historisches Ambiente inklusive eines guten Fitness-Bereichs mit guten Geräten und einer kleinen, aber feinen Sauna.
