Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I didn't like the flimsy pillows.the toilet was a problem.it either didn't fill up when flushed it was clogged. We had to walk far to another wing to use washroom.i personally had to flag down a cleaning staff to borrow a plunger.I went to front desk about my concern. The staff took to long to come.i only stayed one night.this toilet problem would have been a big deal breaker if we had stayed longer and had to deal with a toilet not functioning properly.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Excellent location, service, accessibility, cleanliness... and breakfast included!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - No air conditioner so a lttle stuffy. Other than that, overall pleasant.
Bravo. Nous y retournerons, c'est sûr.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good breakfast, clean . Bring a fan with you for not air condition.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The staff was amazing and very nice and helpful. The beds were dorm beds but everything was extremely clean. A great product for the price.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - breakfast is good, but need air conditioning in hit summer day.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The free breakfast with various options. Clean and safe area.
- jean (8/5): - breakfast is great. rooms are not good. no AC, no TV.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - staff was helpfull. best stay quality vs price. the rooms were clean and washroom too. Still very close to downtown if you have a car. good breakfast. It's fun too have our little space: fridge, tv, etc. I would recomment it too aanybody. We were only three, so we had way more beds than we needed. But, that is a very good problem.
- May (8/5): - Check in was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very complete.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good hotel to show kids life of university - Good and clean, but the bed is too small for an adult and a kid.
- lim (4/5): Beds not prepared. Not enough clean towels . - Don't want to stay at all , but can not find any place else . Never ever again to book that place. Not recommended to anybody.
- Britt (2/5): Would never go back. - There where kids being noisy across the hall from us and when my 2 year old got sick a lover the bed and I asked for clean sheets they had no clue as to what I was talking about. We found roaches in our room.
- Karen (4/5): Cheap but that’s about it. - Double Dorm room that did not have a fridge and did not have a common area where there was accesss one either. No air conditioning and if it’s hot, these room are unbearable. Breakfast included, but very little hot variety and food not great. Ended up not even bothering to use the free breakfast after day 2. Staff very unknowledgable about a lot of amenities in the area. Language a large barrrier.
- David (6/5): - The free breakfast was very good. Could use air conditioning
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Great Breakfast! No AC, and the fridge never really got cold.
- Jelly (10/5): - Very convenient location. The dorm has all the basic amenities including fridge and microwave. Breakfast is filling. I would definitely book it again when I come back.
- Christian (6/5): - The stay was exactly as expected. It was practical to stay at the University overnight on our way to Halifax. The front office couldn't find our reservation and then proceeded to give my daughter and I a one-bed room. After returning to the desk, the gentleman finally gave us a suite with 2 rooms. the whole exchange was polite. We ended up on a floor with a bunch of pre-teens. Despite the adult supervision, we got a bang on our door at &:00 am to get up! Breakfast which was included is a lunchbox consisting of a muffin, juice, yogurt and cheese. Not bad. As mentioned, it was as expected.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This place was so convenient as it was a 2 minute walk to the venue (university bar) there was 3 of us so we took the “family style suite” for $120/night it was a good deal. Rooms were clean, beds are just singles though.. this had bit of a kitchenette and a fridge . There were 3 rooms and I think it could House up to 4. Will use this location again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I didn't get to stay. I did not read the fine print for this stay. My flight was delayed getting into Moncton. And when I arrived to the University it was after the time office closed. I didn't realize I was pushing the buzzer/code for security. Could bear the phone ringing. Tried calling the phone provided. No answer. After 25 minutes someone turned the lights out on us. Clearly they knew we were there. I was left with no where to stay at 01:00am.
- Andrew (8/5): Basic accommodation in Moncton - Easy to find. Helpful staff. Clean and secure. Good car parking. Good breakfast with appropriate choices.
- John (8/5): - Breakfast is very good.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Excellent value, clean, lots of space - Big room, extra clean, with few commodities. Cheap price. Cannot beat this one in the Bang for your Bucks department.
- Esther (6/5): Nice place for one night - Very cheap price !!! And the breakfest include was very good and the service excellent ! We like our night there but i don't think we would stay a hole week there.
- Lawrence (8/5): - Location is convenience to travelers
Breakfast is good
- John (4/5): Difficult to find - The address can not be recognized in GPS and it is difficult to find. The room window can not be open and we can not get fresh air in.
Internet is also slow.
- Eli (8/5): Hot, hot, hot! - Clean, comfortable, quiet, good breakfast but no A/C. Rooms closed up and very hot. Even with 2 fans it was hard to sleep.
- Khaled (8/5): Great place for a great price - Nice and spacious accommodation. No AC but it was fine as it wasn't hot.
- Lou (6/5): Nice hotel to stay but without air conditioning - too hot in our room without air conditionning. Room clean, staff are really good.
- Claudius (8/5): - The check-in was a bit confusing as the actual accommodation was in a different building and had to use a key to access several doors before making it to the room.
- Verified traveler (4/5): clean bath room - Hot room. Room did not meet motel conditions in summer.
- Verified traveler (10/5): perfect for our needs - very comfortable, lots of room, lovely breakfast, nice
setting
- Shawn (8/5): Clean room with all you need for a night. - Friendly and helpful staff. Included parking and okay breakfast.
- Souraiya (10/5): Very clean - Exceptionally clean, good breakfast. No air conditioning and room was very hot is the only downfall.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - so worth it!
- spikex8 (8/5): Let me check if we have anything... - The girl at the check in desk had no record of my reservation and it took nearly half an hour to get a room booked through her.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Close to riverview - Wifi would not work at all
Needs more blankets, it was real hot so maybe fans if not going to have ac turned lower
Other than then that it was what we needed in a pitch
- Verified traveler (8/5): University fun - We chose the university for economic reasons. We were very warmly welcomed on arrival. The rooms were clean and functional. Lots of towels and product available in the rooms. Good security measures. We knew there wouldn't be a living room or tv, and we were close to area activities (Mortons Pub, Mystery Room Moncton). We had a family suite so a fridge and microwave were included. Overall, it was a great stay!!
- Jeanette (10/5): Should know French - Only hard part is everything is French which I don't speak or read
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good value for basic accommodation - Clean accommodation for a good price. Room was much too warm but a fan was provided that we placed in the open window, which helped. The room and the bathroom were spotlessly clean.
- Andrew (6/5): Typical dorm room - It is a typical dorm room. On the night we stayed, the room and hall way were stuffy, and there is no air con to cool down. Also, breakfast was supposed to be provided, but it ran out.
- Judy (8/5): Inexpensive alternative to hotels/motels - This is an inexpensive alternative to staying in a motel. It is a university residence so microwave and TV were downstairs in a student lounge and you do have to share a common bathroom/shower down a short hallway but it was clean and it appears there were no other people in the wing where I was staying so privacy or noise were not issues. I didn't need to go to the TV room downstairs thanks to the free WiFi in the room so I just watched my laptop online programs and movies before settling in for the night. On Saturday there was a hot breakfast and Sunday a basic continental breakfast, both included in the price (served only until 9:30 a.m.). I wasn't sure if towels/shampoo would be included but they were. I was there 2 nights and there was no housekeeping in between to make up the bed but that was not an issue with me. Bring your own fan - no A/C in the rooms and Moncton can get hot in summer months. I was lucky it was May and a coolish weekend. Unfortunately, lugging your luggage upstairs (only to 2nd floor) was a nuisance (no elevator) but other than that, a good experience overall.
