- Amir (4/5): - Just location of restaurants and bars within the hotel. The airconditioning in the rooms is not adequate. I had to change two rooms even then I needed a extra fan to get the room to a decent temp. to get some sleep.
- J Min (5/5): Not equivalent to the price you are paying - The location of the hotel is great with a lot of restaurants and bars in close proximity, as well as, a peaceful location away from the busy town of Mombasa. It’s also very convenient to have a few mix of restaurants, cafe, and a bar just downstairs at the marina. Great for enjoying the panoramic views of downtown/Fort Jesus across and relaxing by the water. Although the room was clean, the staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent, there were several issues. The air conditioning did not cool the room effectively, the bed was uncomfortable and seemed worn or sagging, and there was an unpleasant drainage odor coming from the shower.

They gave me an apartment instead of a room. The front desk helped with anything I asked. The restaurants were good and the chef made any change I requested (I’m gluten free). The apartment was large, clean, modern and way above my expectations.

- Jemma (8/5): - Love the restaurant area with its diverse options, means there is something for everyone. Pool area is lovely although not so much shade in the afternoon. Rooms are clean and great AC. Charges too much for what it is. For the amount we are spending, I would expect the furnishings to be better quality. Fridge was rusty/ mouldy, only one or two of the plug sockets worked and lampshade was broken.

- Special Agent Dale Cooper (8/5): - Schöne Lage direkt am Wasser. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Große Zimmer mit guter Ausstattung. Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet mit vielen frischen Früchten und frisch gepressten Säften und warmen lokalen Speisen. Der Strand wirkt allerdings ungepflegt und es gibt auch keine Liegen oder Sonnenschirme. Die großen Glasfronten im Zimmer sind nur einfach verglast und lassen alle Außengeräusche ungefiltert durch (Vögel, Motorgeräusche, feiernde Gäste, Rufe des Muezzins, ...). Auch im Zimmer gibt es laute Geräusche, die klingen wie ein regelmäßig hochfahrendes Dieselaggregat. Ohrstöpsel werden empfohlen. Die Klimaanlage spielt gerne mal verrückt und schaltet sich in schneller Folge ein und aus.

- Wanjau (3/5): This facility is not ideal for a family set up. - I really got very nice and spacious rooms, the food in the main restaurant was great and the new year fireworks were exceptional. (the best i have ever seen). Ambience for the eating areas and the security was great. My family encountered what we believe was a case of food poisoning, we suspect that some sea food we ate at one of the mini restaurants (Karahi) within the facility was contaminated. We received treatment and one guest still recovering. The beds were not comfortable as some of the beds are not even.

- Chloe (2/5): Disappointment - Some staff were friendly, location is nice and the views are great We had to change rooms three times, first one had a lizard due to windows being left open (understand being in Africa but having young children we asked to move as wasn’t sure how many more got in due to windows open), next room the fridge door didn’t close so we couldn’t keep the water or food we brought cold with the high heat. We then moved to our last room on the last night, air con in the main bedroom didn’t really work, toilet seat broken, shelves all broken in the bedroom on the wardrobe. For the amount of money you pay I was extremely disappointed. Every visit we always visited for the restaurants (which have seriously gone down hill) I was so excited to stay there for a short time at the start of our holiday- never again! Restaurants you wait too long for the food, we couldn’t eat together due to the food coming out at different times. Each day they didn’t have the desserts that we wanted either. However it was a roof over our heads for a few days. I just wouldn’t recommend the hotel.

- rishi (8/5): Prima verblijf voor goede prijs. - Hotel is goed centraal gelegen, faciliteiten (bijv gym) erg goed. Personeel vond ik niet erg service-gericht. Ontbijt is super. Er is niet echt een recreatief strand bij het hotel. Althans een waar je graag een dagje vertoeft. Daarvoor moet je echt naar elders. De entertainment/het bandje in de avond is top. Er zijn verschillende restaurantjes waar je uiteindelijk (soms is het even zoeken) wel iets geschikts te eten kunt vinden. Uitzicht van het hotel ook prima. Prijs kwaliteit van het hotel vond ik erg goed. Personeel achter de balie mag iets attenter en service-gericht zijn.

We got locked out of our room 4 times thinking we were supposed to check out we told them the exact check out dates but they kept locking us out each every chance they got . We had coffee in the coffee shop the bill was written to the room number and signed . Mid night we got a call that i was supposed to pay it we askwd if we could pay tomorrow as it was late they said no and came to the room asking for money . Im super dissapointed . English Point on aidattu rakennusryhmä vastapäätä Mombasan kaupunkia. Viihtyisä allasalue ja useita ravintoloita. Matkasta väsyneenä menimme aikaisin nukkumaan, mutta se osoittautui mahdottomaksi. Äänekkäät varikset raakkuivat pimeäntuloon saakka, sitten allasalueella alkoi kovaääninen ohjelma (huoneen sisällä 45 dbl!) ja yöllä vielä läheisen moskeijan kovaääninen rukouskutsu, joka toistui aamulla. Laitoin viestiä vastaanottoon Booking.comin kautta mutta en saanut mitään vastausta. Varikset olivat muutenkin vallanneet alueen; ne hyökkäilivät ravintolaterassilla ruokien kimppuun tarjoilijoiden mitenkään puuttumatta tilanteeseen.

- Shane (6/5): Great beds for sleeping - I like the upgraded room idea was very spacious and comfortable bed and good a/c system Internet so awful un reliable rubbish in the room around complex no problem but in the ropm it was rubbish and i repprted numerous times was never fixed. Food not great alot of meat on bones again mainly eathing bones and selection not great buffet area very small for a 4 star hotel. Alot of ylung female staff at breakfast not knowing what to do how to wait on tables ask us ablut cofee tea ect just managed badly the Hotel is.
- Marta (3/5): Veru dissapointed with the hotel and service - la ubicacion me tuve que cambiar de habitacion 2 veces. Se suponia de me dieron upgrade , un apartmaneto que hacia mucho no se usaba, estaba sucio y no funcionaba internet ni el telefono con recepcion, despues se estropeo el ascensor. Despues de casi 2 h de esperar, pedi cambio al edificio principal y tampoco funcionaba la wifi, y el baño estaba bastante sucio. Dificil regular la temperatura del aire acondicionado. El desayuno flojito pero con vistas espectaculares de Fort Jesus y old town
- Kimberlyn (3/5): - The environment I have booked a sea view, yet I was given a shoddy garden view room, I paid 35000 for it. The AC was not functioning i had to wait for hours for it to be fixed, and it was very hot. My holiday was ruined at your hotel
