- Bennett (10/5): An unforgettable and relaxing stay with beautiful surroundings, warm hospitality, and excellent comfort. - The property felt like a relaxing tropical escape. I especially enjoyed the pool, the large bathroom with bathtub and shower, and the friendly hospitality from the staff. There was some construction nearby during our stay, but it wasn’t a major issue for us .
- Maria (10/5): - We was so glad that we make our choice for this hotel! Again and again rooms, pool, staff, kitchen! We enjoyed everything ❤️
- Marina (9/5): -
- Terri (9/5): Beyond lucky to stay here. - Delightful - small and exclusive. Beautiful grounds. Gorgeous pool. Rooms were large. Bathroom large and stylish. Helpful and accommodating staff. Food was good. It was a little out of town but not far by Tuk Tuk 5-10 mins (fun!) but in many ways this was a positive.
- María Inmaculada (10/5): -
- Shyama (7/5): It was my little one 5th bday and they did their best to make him happy. Thank you - The hotel staff were great, specially at the reception. The hotel is 7 mins of tuk tuk drive from all the hustle n bustle of the city life. After a busy day you get to relax in peace. I would request that the other staffs like in the restaurant need to be trained at least basic English. They couldn't understand a word n it was difficult to communicate. We expect at least basic communication for the money that we pay to stay in a hotel.
Autrement RAS !

- Angela (8/5): A lovely calm hotel with a very welcome pool. - The location was good for us (a short Tuk Tuk ride into town) and the pool was lovely. We were provided with a pack up breakfast when we were leaving very early on a trip. The room was huge. It’s a calm and peaceful oasis. The lighting in the room/bathroom could have been better and a towel rail near the sink would have been good.
Staff were lovely but it felt like they were quite inexperienced.
Rien
- Brem Braey (8/5): -
- Socheata (10/5): Beautiful and perfect place to relaxing -
- Motomichi (10/5): -
- Scott (9/5): A relaxing getaway near the heart of Siem Reap. - Peaceful location very close to old town, but away from hustle and bustle. Lovely property and rooms. The restaurant was very good as well; we were happy to eat several meals there. Wait staff are very friendly and helpful, but still learning the ropes a bit; nothing major though, and San (the manager) was extremely accommodating. There was also some intermittent construction noise, but not at night, and honestly didn’t bother us during the day. Very minor things to worry about.
- Rotem (10/5): - Heaven on earth, we enjoyed every moment, we were in a dream.
- Jamie (9/5): Would recommend to anyone going to Siem Reap. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. - Beautiful location, small but great attention to detail. No fault of the hotel but there was noise from neighbouring construction and a wedding nearby one night.
- c (8/5): Behulpzaam personeel in een mooie omgeving. - Mooie inrichting van het resort. Geen opmerkingen.
- RENE (9/5): -
- Delphine (9/5): -
- Shiho (7/5): -
- Alla (10/5): Highly recommend this place! - Very charming and cozy place. A bit away from the city but they have a free transfer and this is very convenient. The staff were very friendly and supportive. They help to arrange excurcion for us to Angkor Wat and everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place if you want to stay away from the noise of the city and enjoy the peace. Wa had really wonderful time in this nice hotel🤍
Top! Niets.
- Erika (10/5): - Had a great stay, very private and personalised service. The restraint had lots of options and while they didn't offer many vegetarian dishes for our son they were able to make a number of dishes vegetarian. The family villa with private plunge pool was spacious and quiet, the main pool was also excellent and we mostly had that to ourselves too. Overnight you could hear nothing except the frogs, insects and lizards. Very relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle.
- Mohanan (9/5): Superb - Peaceful and quiet place to unwind. The chef needs to be careful in preparation of food.
Water pressure in bathroom needs to be looked into.
- Maxime (10/5): - What an amazing retreat. The family villa was so great for my family of 4, the private pool was a real treat. The restaurant is superb, and the staff are very attentive. It’s a little further from the town center but the hotel offers a free shuttle out and it’s only a couple of bucks back in a taxi or tuktuk. I loved being in a tranquil haven after a busy day exploring temples.
- Sebastien (10/5): Exceptional - A hided gem in Siem Reap..... we has a suite with two rooms and a private pool. It was amazing. The staff is fantastic and I would like to thanks them for having made our stay unforgetable from the time of our arrival to our departure.
Foods at the restaurany were great. We falled in love with the crispy sesame beef.
Lovely boutique hotel... do not look at an orher place in Siem Reap ! Nothing
- Julia (10/5): Quiet, stylish and relaxing boutique stay with exceptional food and service - Best Hotel we had in our 3 week vacation in Vietnam and Cambodia! Small, intimate and very stylish boutique hotel. Food was great, both for breakfast and dinner. Perfect place to relax and unwind after sightseeing. Room was spacious with amazing bathtub and very clean and new. All staff was exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. They organized guides, transportation and anything we asked for for us for very reasonable prices. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for an intimate, quiet, green and luxurious escape in the middle of Siem Reap.
- Moni-k (10/5): Amazing stay in the oasis of peace - We were looking for a place a bit out of the centre, quiet, with few comments - not another giant hotel. This place turned out to be a hit! Delightful greenery, everything thought out and lovely. Very polite, helpful staff! I would definitely recommend and we will be back! Generous breakfast & pleasant discounts. It is standard that you can get two drinks with breakfast: coffee and juice. Here you have to choose, so we had to share drinks. This is the only thing that I would change.
- Verena (10/5): Exceptional - new and luxurious hotel, big and clean rooms, amazing chef, 10/10 staff
- Cantong (8/5): Very good -
- Jean-marie (6/5): Pleasant - swimming pool and chairs don't have sun during the whole day
- Piotr (10/5): You want to stay in nature but close to city , it is the place . Highly recommend - Perfect quite silent , All good
- Kirsty (10/5): Exceptional - Loved our stay here, the property is beautiful and very tranquil. The staff are exceptional and so friendly, especially Chanrith. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
- Ken (10/5): An oasis of calm - the perfect Siem Reap address - Came here for three nights around my concert in Siem Reap. While just minutes away from nightlife, restaurants and such by tuktuk, it feels miles away from the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap. Coming back after a day scurrying over Angkor Wat in the blazing sun, I could sink into the beautiful infinity pool, and for an even deeper meditation, the massive bathtub in each room allows complete immersion. I love the modern concrete simplicity of the bathroom, and the bedroom itself is elegant and charming. At night the property's own rice paddy is populated with frogs that beep and squawk and chirp, it's very relaxing. The food is excellent, incredibly cheap. Everyone working there is gracious and discreet. The internet is rock solid, if for some reason you have to catch up on work or call home or post your humblebrags about being in Cambodia, you'll have plenty of speed and bandwidth.
Plenty of extras here - free pickup from the transportation nodes in the city when you arrive; the have some shuttle service into town as well. There was a free 30-minute massage included with the room DO NOT SKIP THIS. This was heaven, and after a day at the temples, this will set you right.
Everything was spotlessly clean, and don't worry the frogs do settle down and the nights are very quiet. I did not want to leave, in fact, my experience became more about enjoying this hotel than almost anything else about Siem Reap - to be fair, I was a little under the weather, so while I mustered the strength to spend two days at Angkor Wat, which closes in the late afternoon, I returned each evening to the hotel eager to profit from its peace and rejuvenating qualities.
For those going to Angkor Wat, it's about 20-30 minutes away by tuktuk from here. But consider that a plus, being just off the beaten path enough to give you some space when you'll really appreciate it. Honestly, I had no criticism about this wonderful hotel.
- Ionut (10/5): Exceptional -
- You (7/5): Good - The price and pool were great First time in life that the hotel charge 6 years old kid extra for the breakfast that the room already included breakfast.
- Kirstie (10/5): Wonder oasis of calm and nature - a great place to unwind after seeing the sights - The hotel is off the beaten track and set back from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is an oasis of calm.
Great room and services (with the free Tuk Tuk in to the city from 2-10 pm each day). Nothing
- Mairead (10/5): Serene gem with easy access to all of Siem Reap - The hotel was fantastic. The location makes it more quiet than those in central Siem Reap, just a quick tuktuk ride away from restaurants/bars/attractions. The hotel is beautifully designed, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff really were the stars. Nothing was a problem, massages and airport taxis were organised for us without any stress. Will 100% go back as soon as possible! Nothing
- Sophat (9/5): Superb - We stayed in a private pool villa for a week and we loved it. Rooms are so clean and specious. Good for my toddlers Breakfast is a bit boring. Definitely need to change it but otherwise I would stay there every time I come to Siem Reap
- Sanna (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing stay with great service! Our room was beautiful, and we were helped with all of our requests - whether it was booking a driver to see the temples or just a (short!) ride to town. Thank you again!
- Prum (10/5): Exceptional -
- João (10/5): Exceptional -
- Prum (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robb (10/5): Exceptional - This is one of the smaller hotels with real charme at a romantic place. The little lake and the restaurant with the pool is so nice and quiet at night - you can hear the frogs which is relaxing. Only 5 min wiht TukTuk from center town, pub street, night market etc and the owner offers you a free ride with a TukTuk once a day!! Breakfast is nice, fruity and they have European and Asian options, even made to your special order. We did rent a motobike to get around easier with all the temples and sites to see around, but beware of the traffic.
- Japleen (4/5): Disappointed- would not recommend - Natural surroundings, literally brimming with life- frogs could and crickets could be heard all night! We had a nice welcome when we arrived at around 9pm , we asked about dinner in the hotel restaurant to be told that it was closed! No mention of this on their website.
Then offered to book a tuk tuk at 3-4 times the price of what was available on Grab. We ordered our food on grab to be delivered and asked for cutlery the staff refused saying the kitchen is closed and nothing is available.
The bathroom is very luxurious but no hot water in the shower and the safe in the room didn’t work- I asked they said yes it’s not working!! Would’ve been good to be told that at check in rather than trying to figure it out for 20mins.
The next day we arrived for breakfast - it’s an option of cooked breakfast or pastries. The cooked breakfast takes forever! The coffee and freshly squeezed juice are nice though- but you can only have one?? Some really bizarre rules for what is meant to be a boutique hotel.
The room wasn’t cleaned because I didn’t leave the sign outside the door when I said I didn’t know that I had to do that because no one told me- oh sorry but the housekeeping staff have left so we can do it tomorrow!
Despite being mentioned on their website on booking.com that one way transfer to the airport is free I was still charged 35$ because the location to the airport has changed- again no communication on the website has changed to reflect this!
On the way back we were going to organise our own transport but a driver was waiting and said hello take us for 29$s to which we agreed as it was heavily raining. It would have been cheaper to book it on grab.
On the whole it was disappointing the staff just didn’t want to help with anything and the standard answer was no.
I didn’t get the chance to use the 30min free massage but then again I’m sure there were some hidden rules on when I could book it etc.
I wouldn’t recommend this place, there are much better hotels in Siem reap - I was really disappointed.
- Karim (10/5): I loved this place so much that I extended my stay three times - I extended my stay three times. This hotel is great. Stayed in the family room with the private pool. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel provided free one way rides to the center after 14:00 The breakfast might be a bit plain and lacks variety for some travelers.
- Chanrith (10/5): Hidden Oasis - The staff is exceptionally sweet and genuinely kind. The room is very clean and we even have our own little balcony, so cute. Working AC, hot shower, and comfortable bed. And the restaurant serves delicious and fresh food. The fish amok is absolutely delicious and is a must-try. Will definitely visit again when in Siem Reap Nothing
- Monika (10/5): Great -
- Lynne (10/5): Highly recommended - The staff is exceptionally sweet and genuinely kind. The room is very clean and we even have our own little balcony, so cute. Working AC, hot shower, and comfortable bed. And the restaurant serves delicious and fresh food. The fish amok is absolutely delicious and is a must-try. Will definitely visit again when in Siem Riep :)
- Angkorsecret (10/5): This property is amazing! I stayed in one of the King Suite, and it’s awrsome. Everything about the - The food in their restaurant is delicious and the servings are generous. :)
- Alex (10/5): Highly recommended - We recently stayed here and really enjoyed the staff and the beauty of the property. We were here on our honeymoon and they were so sweet to decorate our room and provide us a bottle of wine.
The breakfasts were always amazing and there was a free tuk tuk ride into town offered once a day.
They were kind enough to pack a breakfast for us when we did the early morning sunrise at Angkor wat. The shower had never ending hot water which was amazing. Something we hadn't had throughout our travels thus far. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
- Sun (10/5): Exceptional -
- Siem (10/5): Exceptional - This is my thirds time staying here. I loved this hotel and kept extending my stay here. The team make you feel extremely welcome and the pool and gardens are beautiful. The room itself is super comfortable and the bathrooms are amazing. Will be back for sure.
- Will (10/5): value for money and will be back - Friendly staff, Comfortable bed, Great towels, Helpful staff, Good breakfast, Nice pool
Beautiful facility, very welcoming hotel, clean quiet and good breakfast. tuk tuk’s available for transfer to city centre. Would recommend this hotel.
- Anne (10/5): Exceptional - It's a really fabulous place - a little far, but they help by organising transport ... so all good. Bonus of being a little out of town is that you can actually chill out there - the pool is out of this world and staff v. helpfull.
- Julie (9/5): Great time. Thank you - Friendly staff, beautiful rooms and lovely breakfast.
- Martin (10/5): Best romantic hideaway in Siem Reap - Really a place you can relax from first minute, really quiet in the night if you like the noise of frogs from their own little lake. Owner and staff very attentive and make everything to feel you are at home. They also offer free tuktuk to town Center. Would always come back. All pictures are real. Nothing really, maybe the bed linen quality needs improvement.
- Troy (7/5): Good -
- Maya (10/5): The perfect boutique hotel! - This was by far the best hotel I stayed in during my time in Cambodia, I was supposed to stay 5 nights and extended to 12. The setting of the pool and garden is beautiful, the room is large, modern and super comfortable but most of all you should go for the staff - the whole team are the most lovely people and felt like family by the end of my stay. I loved that the location was out of the centre but you could get there in 7 minutes. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel. Everything was great
- Aron (9/5): Excellent place to stay close to Siem Reap centrum. Staff is really welcoming and friendly! Pretty garden area with a ni - Pool, room, bathroom, staff -
- Max (9/5): Superb -
- Marcin (7/5): Good -
- Nandini (6/5): Pleasant -
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Katarzyna (10/5): My perfect stay in Cambodia - This is a beautiful boutique hotel, situated in peaceful area. Just few minute by tuk tuk to the city center. I had a very spacious room with a huge bathroom, shower and big bathtub. Perfectly clean. Beautiful swimming pool and restaurant area. Thank you to entire team for making my stay pleasant, a team is a very important element of any place. It's hard to find anything bad
- Jon (10/5): Beautiful and first class - Fantastic service. Tranquil and beautiful place
- Takashi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Siem (10/5): Exceptional - We really love to stay at this place in Siem Reap. The location was perfect for us, just 10min walk to city center, but in a very quite and peaceful area. The hotel is very nice, with a very relaxing environment. The rooms big and comfortable, and the staff more than friendly and helpful. I truly recommend this place when visiting this city.
- Ilianac (9/5): Nice hotel - The bathroom
The bed size was good
it was clean
The swimming pool looks nice but we didn't use it, since it was raining one or 2 days of our stay The breakfast was a bit limited. They will not offer juice or toast for our 1-year-old
The way they installed the AC inside the closet. The air just hit one side of the bed
The road to get there is under renovation (3 weeks ago)
- Catherine (9/5): A little piece of heaven to relax in - perfect after a day exploring temples. - This is a beautiful little hotel. We had the family bungalow which was enormous and really comfortable. It has its own dipping pool, but actually we were the only people using the main larger pool so we used that instead - it's big enough to swim in. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was good - though only two options - Asian or European which is noodle soup (the chicken was great!) or eggs, bacon, sausage, both with fruit and croissant and fresh orange juice. The hotel is on the edge of town, but only about 8 minutes from the centre by tuktuk which you can call on Grab (or the hotel provide one for free in the afternoon). It's on a new road, so it was red earth outside and as it is lower than the main road, some tuktuks and our return transfer 6 seater car didn't want to risk the slope. The hotel staff helped to carry things to the car though and the road should be finished by the end of the year. There are no shops or restaurants within walking distance, though I did go for a run into town early one morning.
- Kazuhito (7/5): Small and cozy - It was still quite new, so overall the facilities were clean. The location was outside the busy parts of Siem Reap, so it was nice and quiet.
The employees were exceptionally friendly and helpful, from the Drivers, Receptionists to the Kitchen staff. First and foremost, mosquitoes were quite a problem for me… they were everywhere, most likely thanks to the unmanaged pond. The door that doesn’t shut tight didn’t make anything better. The pool was so small I couldn’t acknowledge it from my room, although it was supposed to be one of the features… Breakfast was not even close to satisfying.
- Giob212 (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing stay, great value for money. Had a very spacious room and a huge bathroom! Spotless clean. Good breakfast to start the day. Beautiful pool area.
Didn't have any issues with the property being a few minutes away from pub street, if anything this was a bonus. Simply booked a Grab whenever we wanted to go to the center. Free tuktuk rides to the centre are also offered between 2pm - 10pm. Nothing
- Karen (9/5): Superb -
- Nong (10/5): We had a wonderful time during our stay! - Very clean and wonder view N/A
- Sherryll (10/5): It was a very enjoyable stay and we love to stay in this place although distance to the center like the Pubstreet but th - The staff are so warm and accomodating. None
- Sherryll (10/5): It was memorable and I like the place, quiet and peaceful if someone would like to relax. The bed, linens and towels was - The staff are very accomodating and warm. Distance from the center.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional - What didn't we like! Everything about this place is exceptional! It is such a tranquil place and the staff can't do enough for you to make your stay as amazing as possible. We can't recommend this place enough.... please choose Le Chanthou Boutique as your base in Siem Reap, it is perfect! There was nothing to not like, the road was a little bumpy to get there, but that was all part of the fun! If you were to arrive at night you might be a little worried about where you were being taken..... the road is being finished thus year!
- Rowena (10/5): Luxury at an affordable price - Luxurious stay with family. Clean, comfortable, away from town that made it peaceful and serene within the complex. Friendly staff. Even if the road to the hotel was questionable, the place itself is five star review. They did say they are working on getting the road smoother to the location.
- Anna (10/5): Super nice hotel! - Fantastic hotel! Really bad restaurant, the breakfast was probably the worst hotel breakfast I’ve ever had.
- Gordon (10/5): Lovely oasis on the edge of town - Amazing and friendly staff. Nothing was a problem for them.
The room was very well appointed and spacious.
Lovely having own pool to cool down in afternoon
Nice quiet location.
Great having courtesy transport by tuk tuk. Currently having road works done so sometimes a short walk from where transport had to stop but no big deal.
- Sun (10/5): Exceptional - New Property, Comfortable room and clean bathroom. Nice swimming and Rice terrace
- Edward (10/5): Exceptional - Rooms are cool Food still disappointing big time.
- Edward (8/5): Very good - The private pool and size of rooms The food was awful, terrible bfast which was included. No idea at all on how to cook. Needs serious improvments
- Heng (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janet (10/5): Fabulous place. - What a beautiful little place. Good food. Fantastic staff. Walking distance to town. Tucked away nice and quiet. Beds really comfy. I would definitely return. 10/10 guys for everything thank you for making our stay so wonderful.
- Amanda (10/5): One of A Kind experience - The manager, Ms. Moon, and her staff took exceptional care of us during our stay. She planned out our 3-day itineraries making sure that we didn’t miss any highlights of Hanoi. Once we got off the Airport taxi, we were greeted with umbrellas and that we stayed dry from the torrential rains. Whatever issues we came across, her staff would address immediately regardless the time of the day. Our only purpose for this second trip to Vietnam was to visit Ha Long Bay, we were disappointed with the cancellation due to clement weather. Regardless, their heartfelt customer services made up for the disappointments.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Cute little hotel with great amenities and services. We were in Siem Reap very briefly, but the hotel staff made our stay very easy and memorable. We arranged a ride to Angkor Wat through the front desk, they packaged breakfast for us since we left at 4am. They also arranged for tuktuks to the main area of Siem Reap - extremely convenient. After a long day of walking around the site, we were very glad to hang out at the pool.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Mr. Roth and the rest of his staff is what made our stay most memorable. It's one of the best experiences I've had in a hotel.
No hard selling of tours... He will just give his recommendations and let us decide.
Breakfast was good! Got more than a few choices. They even packed it for us for our Sunrise tour.
I loved Cambodia because of these peeps! Keep it up!
- Brian (10/5): Le chantjou hotel - A lovely hotel, staff very friendly/helpful particularly Roth. Good pool and food. A bit out of the way but free tuk tuk to town in the afternoon and evening.
