- Rutger (8/5): Heel goed nachtje gehad - Midden in het gezellige centrum, lekker ontbijt en goede fietsstalling Best prijzig zonder ontbijt

- J.J. (8/5): Toplocatie met en uitstekende keuken. - Locatie was geweldig. Alles wat je nodig hebt was aanwezig. Heel vriendelijk personeel erg behulpzaam. Het diner in het restaurant (op het terras) was super! Suggestie: Gladde vloeren in de kamers zou een mooie upgrade zijn. Beter voor gasten met allergieën (huisstofmijt etc).
Verder geen aan- of opmerkingen.
- David (10/5): Needed an overnight stop and this was perfect. The hotel and the room was very nice in a very good location and the serv - Comfortable and clean. In a very good location Nothing every thing was ok

- Thomas (7/5): Nettes kleines Hotel in schöner Lage.

- John (10/5): We have stayed here before and the comments are consistent with our previous visits. - Continental Breakfast very good. Evening parking available outside. Longer term parking in public car park a short walk away. Evening food exceptional with extra seating upstairs. Well stocked bar with variety of choices. Parking outside limited. OK if you are having an evening meal but for a weekend stay parking is in a public car park down a road opposite. It was free when we visited.

- Yiannis (4/5): Highly overpriced. I paid 253 euro for two nights and breakfast was not included!!! - The "clean the room" after the first night was all about straightening the bed cover and leaving two new towels!!
Trash stayed in the bin and even the empty cup of tea with the used tea bag in the same position.
- Kelly (8/5): Geweldig verblijf, mooie kamer en leuk plaatsje -
- Alex (9/5): -

- Nuria (10/5): -

The place is located in a cute city.
I was happy to stay in this family run hotel instead of in a chain
- Mark (8/5): Very good - Great location. Lovely restaurant. No tea/coffee facilities in the room.
- Coen (7/5): Good - Food was good. Very noisy. Hardly slept. Vilage party right next door. No action by management to reduce the noise, call police...

- Paul (8/5): it was good with very pleasant staff - great central location in a small town parking was in a local car park, but apparently very safe, hotel had 3 vehicles parked there
- Anurag (9/5): Superb - The town was really scenic and there were lot of restaurants nearby.
- Steven (7/5): Good -
- John (9/5): Very enjoyable and would book again. - Breakfast and location excellent. Dinner was superb on both occasions we booked. No litter bin in room and no tea/coffee making facilities. Batteries in the remote control were corroded.
- Lyon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Constantinos (9/5): Superb -
- Matty (8/5): Very good - setting and location were nice very confusing entering the hotel and no reception. the restaurant was very busy and didn’t feel welcomed but more inconvenient as it was so busy
- Ian (10/5): Lovely - Breakfast was continental, but with cooked bacon and scrambled eggs, one of the best continental breaks I have had. Nothing
- Alessandro (8/5): Very good - Very good restaurant!
- Ted (8/5): nice place in the center of super town. very pleased. excellent service and food was great. breakfast was nicely present -
- Graham (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (8/5): Would recommend hotel. Wonderful staff, good food, superb location. Free parking just a short walk. - Continental breakfast with addition of scrambled eggs and bacon. Set us up for the day. Had lots of problems with the electronic “keys”. Needed to have them replaced several times necessitating an albeit short walk from room or security door to reception. My mobility is not good at what for some might Judy be an annoyance, for me caused considerable discomfort.
- Paul (8/5): Great stay with great service. But with some inconveinces. - Great service, friendly staff. every thine was clean in the areas there were.
The food tastes great, and there was a plentifull serving. The lock on my room had an issue which kept it from opening properly. I have left in with the staff for them to fix it.
Further they forgot to mention how to get into the hotel after a certain time.
- Wvda (8/5): Great no-nonsense hotel in center of Eersel - Relatively new rooms.
Great location on the historic market square of Eersel.
Friendly personnel. The rooms are fairly standard, i.e. good but not special in any way.
- AadjeuitKatwijk (6/5): You get what you pay for - After looking at the prices on Tripadvisor, I decided to check the hotel website.
They have a cyclist arrangement 2 nights for €190,-- including two 3-course evening meals. That is only € 8,-- more than 2 separate nights.
The meals were average, not fantastic but well worth the money.
The single rooms were very small, with a mini bathroom. Quite noisy and no ventilation in the room, the window wouldn't open. Bed was ok, Wifi worked well enough.
Very good an friendly staff, the only thing I would suggest: get better and larger paper napkins with the dinner, what they had was dismal.
- keesva (8/5): Very good - We had dinner at 17.30 in May on a Tuesday
Fortunately, because at six all tables were taken. And that happens every day they said.
Lot of choice in the menu.
Quick friendly service. Very reasonable prices.
And most important the food was very good. Extensive beer-card.
A place we would like to return to.
- antomik2014 (6/5): Comfortable - The accomodation is nice on the whole... The bathroom is spacious with a bath tub...but towels are just too small!
The bed Is comfortable but the pillow is way too soft.
Make sure to turn the heating off... Since the window can't Be opened.
Staff Is really nice and helpful and breakfast delicious!
- H4706SUmarkj (10/5): First Rate Hotel - Stayed for one and also ate in the restaurant. Room was clean and tidy and food was great. The best thing about the place was the very friendly and helpful young staff. Travelled with my elderly father and they looked after him so well. Would definitely come back if travelling this way again.
- rebeccasL5482KC (8/5): Casual lunch, lovely staff - Great lunch spot, huge salads and friendly staff. Love the goats cheese salad and the carpaccio salad here. Sitting outside in the summer is great although not on the sunny side. You get a tiny shot of Bailey’s with your coffee too which is great!
- PetaM_11 (10/5): Highly recommend! - This is a great little hotel; the rooms are small but lovely and clean and all you need.
The restaurant is fantastic; great food, great service - can't ask for more.
Staff here are lovely and happy to help.
- Whiskyman2014 (8/5): cycling break - Great town and hotel, lots of other places to eat and drink in the town square. Friendly and helpful staff convey a nice atmosphere, food is good, try the ribs. Bikes readily available to hire through the hotel
- M1196OXkeithr (10/5): Lovely bar - Stayed here for one night with another couple and my wife . The rooms are lovely and clean and the breakfast was good . The best bit was the wheat beer that was in the bar . I will definitely go back just for the beer .the staff were very friendly as well.the photos are the view from my chair into the little village
- SonaParke (10/5): Very kind staff - I had a goulash soup for 5€ which tasted really good and size was just what you would expect for starter soup. My friend had an onion soup for 4,10€ from soup menu and it was about twice bigger then mine starter. Also really good. And the staff, all young and very king people. I do recommend this restaurant.
- HenaFrydek (10/5): Very nice accommodations - I stay in this hotel just for one night, but i can imagine to stay there for longer time. Very luxury accommodations in nice village. I had dinner in the restaurant and it was great. Very nice starter and excellent steak. I recommend to visit this hotel.
- 975jeromeh (8/5): Nice Hotel - Have stayed at the De Bengel for a number of years when passing through. Always found it a great place to wind down and relax. Food and drink selection is good service is a credit to the hospitality you receive in the Netherlands. Friendly and easy for the lone traveller equally suitable for couples. Eersel is a very pretty village immaculate and clean lots of free parking.
- Ianinwinchester (6/5): You get what you pay for - Booked by the customer I was visiting. Room adequate until you try and sleep. VERY narrow single beds. Mattress does not stay on base very well. First floor room very hot in summer. Nearby Church rings the time all through the night-- why can't people switch these things off after midnight for heavens sake! Restaurant OK and not overpriced. One plus point free WIFI.
- Steve_Burrage (10/5): Absolutly Perfect Stay - My work involves a lot of foreign travel. I have now visited 23 different countries as a result of my work. I have visited The 'De Bengel Hotel Restaurant' about 6 times before in the last 10 years & I think it is my most favourite hotel. It is spotlessly clean, the food is fantastic, it is very reasonably priced, all the staff are very friendly & efficient & they have a beer menu with about 30 different beers to choose from.
There are about 10 other restaurants & bars within 2 minutes walk of the Bengel, just in case you want a change of scenery.
This is an informal place with a restaurant which is normally packed out by about 18:00 in the evening. That's how good the food is! If you want to take your wife out for a super posh meal on your 25th wedding anniversary, then this might not be the right place for this special occasion. However, if you want some really good food, friendly & efficient service, in an exceptionally well run establishment, this is the place to go to.
I can not recommend the 'De Bengle Hotel Restaurant' highly enough.
- 70tons (8/5): Simple but good! - Went there for a quick meal with my son. I have been visiting De Bengel for years, quality is consistent and they have a simple but tasty variety of dishes on the menu.
Friendly staff, quick service, simple and tasty. A recommendation when you end up in big town Eersel;Try the chicken saté with cajun fries: delicious!
- PirjoP (8/5): good value, pretty town - Eersel is a very picturesque small town, and the hotel is very conveniently located on its market square. Free parking close by, although not quite next to the hotel (about 100 meters). The room itself was clean, and spacious enough, with a nice bathroom, but quite basic, so do not expect anything luxurious. But then again, with this price, it's good value. The soundproofing could be better, though.
Having spent the whole day driving the motorways, the restaurant was probably the best part of the hotel as it made dining so easy. Breakfast was very good.
- SMD1966 (10/5): lovely friendly restaurant - While visiting friends from Eersel they recommended we all go to this restaurant for, 'the best ribs in town!'
The waiter, Joost, was excellent and spoke very good English. He was very attentive but not pushy and overall the service was fast and efficient.
We ordered ribs which were succulent and tender in a mildly spiced sauce. Delicious.
You do get very large portions so none of our party had room for dessert.
I would certainly recommend this restaurant for people visiting the lovely town of Eersel.
- 990DanielB (8/5): Good value - clean and comfortable - Stayed here during the New Years vacation. Friendly and attentive service, clean rooms (not luxurious, but better than what you would expect at this price) and a very large buffet breakfast. Definitely worth the stay if you are in the area. The restaurant has good hearty food and a great new world wine list.
Simply, friendly and comforatable and good value.
- Karentraven (10/5): Restaurant: Excellent food & Service - I've been twice to this place and i've been not dissapointed. The place is nice, the food delicious and the service is fast, very polite and helpful.
Definitely one of my favorite places in the region from now on.
Don't miss the spareribs, really juicy and tasty!
