Partha (8/5): - Excellent property on the NJ side of Delaware River, about 90m from New York. We stayed at Carlyn's outlook, the suite was fantastic. Very tastefully and comfortably furnished. Two cribs, there was only one AC trying to cool down the entire suite, it gave up in the extreme heat last week. If you are a late riser, the skylights will make sure that you are up early, the brilliant sun lights up the sky by 7am, please use an eye mask if you want to stay in bed.On the day of the return, the maintenance people decided to work on the roof, thumping away, oblivious of guests. Proximity to New Hope makes this an attractive destination. Good shopping, food and water sports. We fed the sheep in the farm, that was wonderful.

Great staff and we received an upgrade which made our day there. Had a wonderful time working in the kitchen garden. A gym or pool would be nice but really, not a big issue.
Andrea (10/5): Romantic , atmosphere , grounds , staff , good , accommodations perfect ! - We just celebrated our belated 30 th anniversary May13-15 ! This inn was everything we could have asked for and exceeded our expectations! We stayed in the Hunterdon , Cottage, very rustic, romantic and serene ! We had a king bed , double spa tub , double shower , fireplace etc ! Bed was very comfy , and the view outside of our window :: topped it all ; sheep grazing in rye grass ! We fed them , and they were so gentle and adorable ! The staff was very personable !!! My fav cookies were made fresh when we arrived :: shortbread chocolate chip cookies , decadent !!! Breakfast brought out cottage was delicious , pancakes , omelette, cappuccino , fresh fruit , pastries ,,, all fresh and yummy !!! Even the towels were plush , robes were so soft as well ! We had dinner one evening at Northridge, on the premises ! Great ambience , and food was delicious !!! It’s BYOB !!! We highly recommend Woolverton Inn ,, and we will certainly be going back in the Fall !!! We liked everything

We stayed in Carolyn’s Overlook Cottage for 2 nights & couldn’t have been more pleased. Bi-level, spacious 2 BR cottage overlooking sheep farm. Unique rustic decor, super comfy seating & bedding, impeccably clean. Staff was outstanding — welcoming, helpful & professional. Full American breakfast delivered each morning. Well worth the cost! There wasn’t a single aspect that needed improvement

The Inn offers a romantic atmosphere full of peace and relaxation. Food is amazing! The chef uses locally sourced ingredients to prepare and serve a tasty breakfast selection. The staff is incredible! Full of kindness and willingness to help make your stay excellent. This is a place that we will never forget for the fresh-made breakfasts and super delicious coffee which is specially created by a local vendor for the Woolverton Inn. Breakfast at the porch offered a view of adorable shrubbery and flowers very carefully maintained. The location of the Inn is perfect with just a few minutes away from New Hope, Lambertville, Peddler’s Village and other beautiful small towns and numerous farms. Fotini (10/5): Beautiful New Jersey Inn - The Woolverton Inn is a beautiful place to stay while visiting south Jersey. The Inn is located on a beautiful property which is landscaped up front and which backs on to a sheep pasture, trails and farm country. The Inn is close to many historic sites, to the beautiful river towns as well as a number of local wineries.

Upon waking in the morning, the parking lot was plowed of course, but they even shoveled between each car! Breakfasts are wonderful. Rooms very comfortable. We enjoyed the afternoon cookies and the surprise nightcap. You cannot help but enjoy your stay. You will feel like you gained new friends/family.

Lisbeth Ann (10/5): - Whisk away to a time when things were oh so simple van. From the moment we walked onto the property we were in chanted by the lovely Christmas lights, and although frozen, the pristine gardens lining the entranceway. We were greeted by a lovely young woman who told us everything we needed to know about the property and then showed us to our room. A lovely balcony and a working fire place all set with an easy to burn Duraflame. Lovely linens and surroundings and let me not forget to mention breakfast the next morning. It was amazing to wake up, smelling fresh coffee and breakfast cooking. Wonderful choices of eggs and hotcakes, fresh fruit, breakfast meats, and juice and freshly baked scones were all a part of our yummy feast. There was one thing, however, that we didn’t like. That is that we didn’t book a second night with the Woolverton Inn. We will definitely be back and I give this an A 3 miles from Newhope with tons of shops/restaurants. Perfect for holiday shopping or any time of year!

Although air- conditioning was advertised, it was restricted to an uncomfortable sticky temp to maintain a certain temperature on the lower floors. Our room was under the roof and very stuffy even when we opened the two windows with outside temps at 50. In addition the room was dusty with dust bunnies over our heads. We were offered, per telephone, that our room might be ready early. So we arrived early as mentioned. Once arrived, we were told “No, our policy is, check in 2-6.”
Elizabeth (9/5): A wonderful relaxing stay in the country - The Inn was just lovely - the room, the setting, the breakfast, and the gardens were amazing! I especially loved the option of having breakfast on our private patio. The shower was inside the jet tub, so getting in and out was a bit awkward and the water splashed out of the tub due to no shower curtain. Next time we would select a different room with a different bathing setup.

Linda (10/5): The Woolverton Inn provided an exceptionally beautiful and luxurious vacation experience. - The breakfast was beautifully prepared and presented, we had the choice of eating on the porch or the veranda, both of which were surrounded by lovely, English-style gardens with lush lawns and old trees in the background. The breakfast, was obviously prepared by a skilled chef and included many choices of coffee (Americano, latte, expresso, etc). There were 3 courses. Because we were vegetarians, the very sweet and helpful waiter arranged to substitute the bacon with tasty vegetarian sausages prepared onsite. All the baking was done on the premises as well. There were to many lovely things about the Woolverton Inn. My only reservation might have been having to climb 3 flights of stairs to reach our room. However, since we are relatively fit, that wasn't much of a problem. It could have been difficult for someone with mobility issues, however.

Would have preferred a farm view without dismantled wedding tent and blue tarps in the distance. Nevertheless, it a very very Special place.

Visible dust under the radiator and on molding around fireplace, planks on roof outside window, loose toilet seat and the the drain control on the bath kept coming off exposing a grubby fixture underneath. If they had fixed these items the place would rate a five star.

From the lovely sheets and comfortable bed to the cozy chairs nestled next to the fireplace we enjoyed all the room's amenities. The inn keepers strike a masterful balance of being warm are inviting, while leaving is to quietly enjoy the delightful breakfast (bonus delicious vegetarian options!). We are already looking forward to our next visit!
