- Ronald (1/5): We did not stay there because of fear that something would happen to us - Nothing Everything when we finally got to the area of the hotel everything was blocked off for a 4 block radius. The parking lot was empty and there were police at different locations. There were many questionable people around the hotel, looked like gang members. We were afraid to get out of the car to go in and afraid to leave our car in the parking lot. When I contacted the hotel after calling Booking. Com they tried to tell me there was an event going on there, which was a lie because we didn’t see any ordinary people walking around and there were no cars in that area.

No eggs, no potatoes, handful of smoked sausage, no butter or syrup for waffles. No coffee or drinkable coffee (the light roast was too strong). We waited 15 minutes for someone to come out of the kitchen to refill everything but nobody came, so we left and went to have breakfast somewhere else

We didn’t have a microwave or a decent coffee pot so keeping food upstairs was pointless and the coffee pot was not plugged into its area so had to use one on the wall and set it on the floor.. the little disks the coffee pods were to sit in were not secure and had to hold them in place. There was no dresser and we were a family of 4 staying for a week so would be nice to have somewhere to unpack bags. Also paying for parking with a parking lot next door felt silly while paying to stay there.

The staff were extremely helpful and easy to work with, I enjoyed the continental breakfast every morning from 6-10a, the location was quiet and the view from our room was amazing looking out over downtown Tulsa. Staff called over to the Holiday Inn Express and we were able to swim at their pool for no cost. There were some minor issues with facilities including a cracked sink that was repaired but it was poorly done and a bit unsightly. The pool was closed but this was a temporary situation and we were able to swim at the pool of a close by hotel as requested by the staff at the Hampton.

The room was comfortable and a hot breakfast was provided Housekeeping forgot to flush the toilet, so when we 1st entered the room, there was something that appeared to be ashes dumped into the toilet leaving a black ring around the toilet. That was the only thing regarding the room. The location is downtown. There are activities such as the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving, so if you don't know your way around downtown Tulsa, you may have a difficult time finding an alternate route.

We were a very late check in and they accommodated us with no problem. Free breakfast was good even though it was thanksgiving, grateful to have someone available to serve strangers On a holiday. - Sandra (2/5): You need a new manager. - We were only told by the front desk person that we had two options for parking - to pay in the auditorium lot next door or park behind the hotel and pay $20 a night. We parked next to another car with the yellow pass in their window and wound up with a $150 parking ticket. When I phoned the manager, she was extremely curt with me and told me that we should have known to read some sign in the lobby outlining other parking options, which her staff never pointed out. Her rudeness and tone in belittling me assured that I would NEVER stay at this hotel again. Also, you take dogs but have NO place for them to walk or relieve themselves that has grass. No place for our service dog to go potty anywhere around the hotel grounds. No clear instruction on where to park for your exorbant fee of $20 per day on top of paying to stay with you in an area with no places for a decent meal or coffee. AND we wanted to relax in the pool but it was 'closed for maintenance' the entire stay.

He knew my adult daughter and I were alone and when we went out to smoke he kept a close eye on us to make sure we were not bothered. He answered all questions with a smile. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. The young woman at the desk the next morning was very friendly. I definitely will stay there again. I really liked the fact that you can't get to other floors in elevator without room key. And they lock the front door at 8 pm and key card opens it also.

- Sarah (4/5): Little Frustrating - We had to wait an hour and 45 minutes after checkout time for our room to be ready. The room was clean. The bathroom door did not shut all the way. It was a sliding door that stayed open 2 inches. Checkout time was at 11 but housekeeping entered our room twice before then.
- Steve (8/5): - I chose this property because of its close proximity to the BOK Center. Was great to be within walking distance and not have to worry about parking. We did walk 1/4 of a mile to eat a late lunch at The Tavern. The food was very good! However, there are a lot of homeless down around this area. Something to be aware of before deciding to walk any distance. Especially if alone. The facility was nice. We were just there for one night. I did not utilize anything other than my room. Our room was clean. I didn’t sleep well as I found the mattress to be a little too firm for my liking. My family that stayed in the room with us felt the same (we are not small people, but average size !) May just be luck of the draw, I hope, and not an issue with every room. The sink faucet in the bathroom was also very loose. It worked, so I didn’t worry too much about it, Hopefully it has been reported by housekeeping and is on a list for maintenance. I could have reported it but it was late when we got back to the room, and we left early this morning. Overall, I would stay again and would recommend if attending an event at the BOK. It’s literally across the street!

- Anne (8/5): Make sure you have everything you need... - This area of town has no convenience store. So, if you need anything, you will have difficulty. We needed change to do laundry as we were on a long trip. The hotel desk has no change, and the restaurants nearby were cashless. Big problem!

The staff were great very helpful and friendly and dressed professionally. The parking was not good due to the fact that it was downtown there was consent of people all day long walking around. No we were never harmed or anything but there was something left on our car which was a little scary.

- Jeremy (8/5): - Being downtown insures a wonderful night time background while taking a stroll, as apposed to the in town background of nodding out individuals and their tents surrounded by trash that dot the entire city some more than others. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Parking was no issue either. Someone thought it would be a great idea to hang barn door style doors that are just a smidge small for the opening of the bathroom making it almost irresistible for my 3 year old to constantly harass me while I'm in it. The toilet hardware needed to be replaced and when we informed the staff they brought us a plunger and walked off which did nothing because it wasn't clogged.

The only down side was the uncomfortably warm temperature in the lobby and dining area. The room temperatures were very comfortable.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Ok for the price, but parking? - Everything was Ok, there is nothing in the room except a phone. No area restaurant flyers, etc. They assume that everyone has a phone. The TV was a pain, you have to call the front desk to figure out that there is a hidden button you have to push to set the input everytime you turn it on. If you drive a full size truck, forget it, there is no way to park it behind the hotel. A Toyota Tacoma was the max.
