Guest Reviews
- Scott (2/5): - There is a sign for a days inn at the front of the property, not the Knights inn, so it took a while to find The overwhelming odor of marijuana in the rooms. Bugs on the walls. The towels have never been changed.
- Milo (4/5): - The property is a Days Inn, nowhere is it advertised as a Knights Stay Inn on the building or the sign. Reception area is disorganized and does not look anything like the advertised images. I did book a smoking room, so I am not surprised that it smelt of stale smoke, however, no effort was made to mitigate the smell by the property. The walls had smoke staining and other miscellaneous marks/stains. The sheets had burn holes, rips, and stains. The images of the rooms advertised was not reflexive of the current condition of the rooms. Pool was closed completely. There is a constant whirring sound regardless of the hour or location on property. It appears that they tried to renovate the showers, however, the shower curtain did not protect the floor from getting completely soaked from the shower head. The room did not appear to have been swept any time before my stay, and only one towel was provided and not replaced.
- Leonid (2/5): Stay if you like cockroaches - Cockroach paradise. I had to sleep in the car
- Mary (6/5): - Our stay was fine but it would have been nice to have been given a heads up that we were looking for a Day’s Inn and not a Knights Inn like we thought we booked. We drove by it like 3 times!! Update the sign or let people know they’re looking for a Day’s Inn. TY
- Kristina (2/5): - Way out dated. Very noisy and property was very dirty outside
- Laura (4/5): - There is no sign stating the Days Inn is the Knights Inn. No pool as stated in the details portion of the listing. Rooms are old but mostly clean and the mattress was the box springs only. The TV was blurry on most stations.
- Holly (10/5): - The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. But what so REALLY loved the most was the shower head. So much wonderful water pressure. And very hot water.
- Dewayne (6/5): - It was a decently priced place. Floor in room looks like it hasn't been swept for weeks. Dead bugs everwhere.
- Paul (6/5): - We could not get a receipt for our charges, & the room had an oder that gave us a head ache.
- Robert (4/5): - This mught not be a fair review as they are working on the place. Some of the people just looked shady and we walked up on someone smoking something in a glass tube. They were jumpy.
- Jerrod (2/5): - Poor poor service disappointing property and stay
- Austin (4/5): - You get what you pay for, but didn’t reflect what was shown on website. Also not very clean.
- Charles (6/5): Payment - My card was charged twice for some reason!
- Chelsie (2/5): - There actually wasn't one thing I liked about this property! When I first arrived, they tried putting us in a room that WAS NOT cleaned, the beds were a mess and there was food and drinks laying around everywhere. THEN when we got put in a different room, we left and came back from the store, our key wasn't working, so I went to the front desk and they said my room that I had ALREADY stayed in, was in some other persons name and that we were in their system under a completely different room then the first two! So they had to switch us to that room in their system! The person that was there wasn't even aware of what had happened. Another thing I wasn't fond of was AS SOON AS I got out of my car and tried to go inside the first room some man walked out of the room beside that one and asked me to bum a cigarette! It was VERY unclean and they whole staff I encountered was VERY rude and unprofessional! I will NOT be going back to this hotel!!! Also if I hadn't of already paid for the room for two nights I would have left that night we got there! I wasted my money on this place and it is very upsetting!
- Katherine S (4/5): - The pictures on your website are from a magazine not this property. I reserved 2 beds and end up in a king bed for 2 nights. Luckily i packed up all our belongings after the 1st night and sure enough there was someone else in our room when we returned, them they gave us a room nextdoor which was also already occupied. Then they gave us what they considered a new room. The only thing new was the desk chair, 2 new lamps and a new sick. But let me mention a toilet that ran all night long. I worked on it as well as my father. They didn't take it seriously the next morning so I hope they enjoy thete hefty water bill. I think they cater to people that have been evicted from there home. My idea of renovated means the whole room not just maintaining it. Very old and not maintained.
- Joshawa (2/5): - It was around 30 degrees the night we stayed and the heater did not work. The bathroom floor was covered in animal hair. The food we put in the refrigerator froze within the 6 hours we stayed there.
- William (2/5): - Well first thing I was booked into a room and when I opened the door there was a lady already laying in the bed and I didn't get there until late so it 2:00 in the morning with temperatures in the single digits I had to go back out into the code and go back up to the front desk and get a newer and that room the heat had been off all day and by the time it finally heated up it was time for me to leave. So really it was just a waste of my money all the way around and I think I should be refunded that money
- Sammie (2/5): - Nothing looked like it was completely closed down ill never stay there again
- Melissa (2/5): - No signs for hotel. rooms are not updated as shown in pics. Appears to be used as a weekly pay living place. My husband and I did not feel safe. We stayed because we had to. no housekeeping! basic tv channels with espn and the tv was very snowy, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! had to stand outside to check in, no lobby, no complimentary breakfast, not even a coffee pot in the room
- Justin (2/5): - Outdated, poor heat, dirty sheets, rust holes in shower, no covers on outlets and switches, appliances didnt work. Overall a dump worst place ive ever stayed
- Reginald (8/5): - It was ok
- Charles (6/5): - Price
- Stephanie (4/5): - Honestly, this property needs alot of upgrading. Some rooms are better than others and being an elderly female I did not feel safe in that type of environment. The staff overall was great. Thsnk you.
- James (2/5): ZERO STARS!!! - Room not cleaned. Bed was made, but sheets were dirty, half-eaten plate of food had steak that was covered in mold was under the bed, along with a drink that also had mold in it. Room odor was unbearable. Requested another room, but front desk clerk said "no refunds or changes".
RUN!!!
- sharon (2/5): - This place was a dump
- Steve (4/5): - I'd like to just forget the stay but I must remember to never stay there again! Worst place ever. I booked a room at Fairbridge Inn. IT DOES NOT EXIST. This is a Days Inn. We figured out it's the same place after 30 minutes of searching for Fairbridge Inn. It's located behind a Mexican restaurant, you basically have to snake through the parking lot to get to the hotel. Still, not a Fairbridge sign in sight Not worth $30/ night but I paid much more. No vending, no ice and food chains won't deliver to the address. One side of the building had no parking so asked for another room. The other side of the building is next to the Mexican restaurant which had live music outside that we could hear over the TV until 10pm. The same TV with a 42" screen yet only a 30" display. No channel guide. Wifi instructions say connect to a different hotel's open network.
- Daniel (6/5): Too Hot For This! - It was nearly 100 degrees outside and the lobby was closed. We had to check in at a window while baking in the sun. When we got in the room the a/c was off and it didn't cool down the room until the next morning when we were leaving. So glad it was only an overnight stay. But it was too hot to have customers standing outside and a/c units off!!
- Russell (2/5): - Its a no tell motel. Its for junkies. Dont take your family there
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The hotel is labeled “Days Inn” there was no sign that said “Fairbridge”. The lobby was closed due to covid, which also canceled the breakfast listed on the reservation. The bathroom had bugs and cobwebs and the fridge didn’t seem to work- and there was a cup left in it from a previous person. This was disappointing.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Okay and fair
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The worst place to stay. You should take it off of your site. The picture they present are not real
- James (8/5): Little rough - Check-in was easy. I opened the door and ti was not easy to open, I had to lean on it cause it kinda stuck, but everything else was fine. There was shampoo and soap packets, but no other bath stuff. not too bad though.
- JC0l (6/5): Well Used - Check-in was easy, but the name out front was Days Inn, so I had to go in and ask. The door to the room was a little hard to open because it was kinda separating. The wifi didn't connect under the right name, but did under a different name. The bed was comfortable enough and the AC worked good, even though it was an older unit. There was a fridge and Microwave also. The pool looked nice and clean.....I've been in worse places.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I liked nothing in the property and the photos here are not real, when you get there nothing is like the photos. The place has poor hygiene, the sheets are all dirty, the carpets are filthy, everything is full of dust and the towels are smelly. We left there before because the state of this place was unbearable, as well as having two different names. The staff do not have the skills to work with the public and those who clean are people who do not have the capacity to know what they are doing. My advice close that place.
- Tanisha (6/5): Never again - Bathroom needs repairs. Looks horrible. You have to stand outside when checking in. At night not safe at all. Sign says Days Inn. Not pleased at all. Then they have the nerve to charge a deposit for this dump.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It was gotta
- Verified traveler (2/5): - If i wanted to stay at the DAYS INN i could have done that at home. Why would you post a beautiful hotel and then i get there and its nothing like the pics or description. Pool closed, rooms smell, beds hard. Never Ever Again!!!!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Property didn't exist. This is actually a days inn
- Verified traveler (6/5): - We booked the hotel and we were surprised how dirty and careless was it. I made a complaint with the manager and then he switched us to another room which was little bit better. There was no room service to clean, provide paper towels, switch bath towels etc. So as summary it was a disaster and a very bad decision.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - .
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Horrific. The room looked like a crime scene. Dirty, stains on beds, cig smoke came through vents from other rooms. Outlets were burnt. Loudest A/C in North America.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Very loud at night. My room wasn't as clean as it should be. I requested towels and never got them.
- Richard (8/5): Not what is in pictures - This is the Days Inn if Frankfort not the hotel in the pictures
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It was very dirty the floor had stuff all over it and was sticky. The tv was fuzzy called the front desk and they said just wiggle the plug to no aveil.
- 722branh (8/5): Nice room - Was really nice and clean. Felt safe and would stay again , Nice room for the price. Clean and comfortable. Friendly saff, Check in was a breeze, So far so good.
Close to state capital and I-64 in Frankfort.
- ronyp040271 (10/5): Very clean room for affordable price - Was staying for the night while en route to visit my favorite people. This hotel’s price is within my budget so why not? The staff at check-in were very accommodating and the rooms looks very nice and clean. Would be my go-to for an emergency rest again.
- 436court1986 (2/5): Poorly - Nasty and rude they need new owners and new workers. Hopefully people will do the same thing. I will do what I need to keep people from going there and wasting there money. I will not be back to that hotel .
- Mygypsyways (2/5): Hotel Hell - Worst experience ever~ Horrible nasty room\not even Knights Inn ~ its Days Inn..refund denied
Rooms are horrible~Hotel needs to be closed down.Doesnt look like room has ever been cleaned. CIGARETTE BURNS ON FURNITURE ~WATER TURNED OFF @ TOIELT
- Christi (2/5): - Ice machine broken, pool out of order, property in unkept deteriorating conditions, looks like the place was abandoned for years and just had the power turned back on and hung out an open sign without making proper repairs and Maintenance.
- Denise (4/5): - This was not a Knights Inn. This was a Days Inn and the room was not clean. We had to basically beg to get two more towels. The curtains were hanging off the rods so it was hard to feel we had any privacy. Not happy.
- Bill (2/5): - Couldn't find the motel. No one told us that Knights Inn was Days Inn. Tub didn't drain, toilet didn't flush. Water stains on the ceiling. Just not a good feeling about the whole stay.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Worst motel experience ever - Extremely poor condition. Tv broke. Room a sauna, ac not on and took over an hour to cool room down. Towels dirty. Microwave broke. Unbelievably bad experience.
- perryw260 (8/5): Clean place - Nice room with fridge, microwave, morning breakfast.
Hotel is within walking distance of a restaurant, dollar store, big lot, subway.
if you are looking for convenience and location, this is your place.
Big parking area.
- Mary (2/5): - Well when i walked into the room upon entry there was 2 empty pizza boxes on the table next to the window. Bed was not made up ,slept in and the bathroom was aweful toilet paper all over bathroom and shower had "nasty residue in it. So went to front office made hotel manager aware of situation and was relocated as in "had to take all luggage back down stairs go through staying waiting on another room for 45 mins then packing my stuff back up 2 flights of stairs only to stay in a room not much better then the first.
- ronyp040271 (10/5): Great for a temporary stay - The cost for the night is the only reason I decided to come stay, compared to the other nearby hotels. The room I was assigned to is clean, and it helps that the location is near several stores and restaurants. On a side topic, Definitely would recommend going over to Mai Saigon and Thai smile for lunch/dinner. I just love their food.
The staff is nice and helps out with any questions I had, such as pointing out where the laundry is, and bringing over fresh towels when asked. They did their best in accommodating me during my stay.
- P144BVjessicab (10/5): Great rates - i havent seen a nicer motel for the rate. the staff was very accommodating, i broke down and needed a place to stay and didnt have much money and the manger worker with me great great man. never had an issues and any critters biting me.
- Tina (8/5): - It was just ok ..not the grand...the hostess was nice at signing in ...rooms were clean
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Nothing bugs everywhere water on floor desk did not care
- Thomas (4/5): OK if you can find it. - There are two significant and related management issues with this motel. (1) It has no sign (except for a paper sign just past the entrance to the property.) (2) It is managed through the same desk as the co-located Days Inn. Even their receipt says "Days Inn." There are three buildings on the property; the first two are part of the Days Inn; the third, at the bottom of the hill where the water collects, is the Knights Inn. The purpose of this odd arrangement is not clear and was not explained. In general, the property is aging.
If and when you can find the motel, the exterior and the room are aging but OK. There is no parking in front of the building. The one-person service desk is responsive, though not surprisingly you sometimes have to wait in line. Aside from all that, the location is rather far from downtown Frankfurt.
- Art (4/5): Not that great - Breakfast was a joke...an empty box of donuts..no fruit...two types of cereal.. and the coffee was terrible. They never came to bring clean towels make the bed or clean the bathroom. The only thing good was the price.
- Disappointed (2/5): - It uniquely run down and filthy. Because there was a university homecoming that weekend rates were $100 per night for very very poor service. The second day the room wasn’t cleaned, or trash emptied. We had to ask for clean towels. It was deplorable and repugnant.
- Margaret (8/5): Convenient, affordable, fridge/microwave plus - It was great that the hotel was close to my venue and affordable. I liked that they let me choose to not have my sheets/towels get washed (conservation). It was nice to have the fridge and microwave in the room! And having the option of a basic breakfast at the hotel is awesome.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Our electricity went out in our room. We moved to another one. There are few outlets, lots of extension cords for lamps. The place was very run down. The employees were super nice though.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It was ok to sleep at. Very dirty, out of date, the room was in poor condition. I won't ever stay there again. Owners are to cheap to keep it property updated
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The picture looked nice but wasn’t the same as the picture was very disappointing
- TravelerTim (6/5): - To begin with property is labeled as "Days Inn". Property is very well used in need of a very deep clean and a heavy dose of maintenance. Staff was nice but not very well informed of anything. The breakfast, while free, was a joke. Cold cereal, coffee and toast. Hello Waffle House.
- Kelly (6/5): - There were roaches in the room. Everything else was ok. Breakfast was almost nothing
- Janet (2/5): - It took us three tries to even find the place. Its called Days Inn not Knights Inn. Second you couldn't even understand the guy when you called. The address online is wrong along with the name. The beds were filthy, the drawer had used fast food cups with mold on them, so you know the room wasn't cleaned very well. Under the bed was so dusty, it was nasty. Location is good, pool was ok...
- Dina (2/5): Dont book keep scrolling. - Not so good. Run down. Dirty, no signs at entrance. Parking area not lit very well. Pictures are misleading about this property. Would not stay and not recommend this property.
- Walter (10/5): Knights Inn. Always my choice of motels. - Wonderful staff motel and location. But the signage still said Days Inn. I was extremely fatigued from my 700 mile drive. I finally had to call to find out that the motel was still signed as Days Inn. Better to have had no signage at all rather than an incorrect one. The locals didn’t even know of the changes for sure. But reiterating this is a wonderful place to stay. I give it 5stars each time.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - WiFi didn’t work. There was a puddle of water on the floor from where the fridge was left unplugged. There was a bunch of bugs in the room
- Verified traveler (8/5): Good - Nice need to update the air conditioning.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - There was no AC. Outlets didn’t work. Never got clean towels. There was roaches in the room. Couldn’t get the door to the room to close completely. The bathtub leaked out into the floor. When taking a shower the water stood in the tub and didn’t drain.
- James (2/5): Nasty knight's Inn - Nasty dirty rooms. Bed bugs.. Jus trash cant believe they are gettin away with that place
- James (2/5): - Air conditioner leaked into the room and room smelled and was dirty
- Verified traveler (2/5): Stay somewhere else! - We arrived at the hotel at 1130pm. Checked in and got the keys to our first room, the bed was not made and the room had not been prepared. Again, we arrived at 1130pm. Went back to the front desk and the clerk moved us to an upgraded room. Walked in to it and it was hotter in the room than it was outside, no the heat was not on. Went to turn the AC on and the grate cover for the vent was off and had dead bugs in the vent. Went back to the clerk to get a refund, tried to refund me someone else’s room. Then I was told I had to request my refund from the online company I booked through, no problem. When I called the online company to get my refund, they called the clerk back at the Knights Inn and was refused my refund. Do not stay at this dirty establishment. Pay the money and stay somewhere nicer. This is also the Days Inn in the area. Both are dirty and trashy.
- Jerri (2/5): Worst room I ever stayed in. - This is by far the worst motel I have stayed in. I pulled back the sheets to discover bed bugs and insects crawling on the sheets. The bathroom was The motel was run down. so nasty we would not even take a bath in it. The room had a musky smell. We had to spray the room before sleeping in it. We used our own pillowss and sheets on the bed after spraying bed bug spray on the beds and floor.
- David W (4/5): You don't want my opinion - not a pleasant experience.
- Celal (6/5): Average hotel within a mile of the interstate - The hotel is easily accessible from I64. The room was clean but not in the best condition. It is still a decent hotel for the price. It is a fine choice if you are expecting a bed and a bathroom.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Kentucky Derby during was the time period I stayed. There was nothing else less than $100 within 60 miles. The AC unit in the room was LOUD. Parking lot is a bit of a maze to get to the rear building. Parking near the rooms was limited.
Room was a bit noisy, mostly due to helicopters and firetrucks . Probably related to the massive crowds in the region. Not their fault..
Biggest issue is the signage. It has a huge Days Inn sign, then a small canvas sign about 4 feet tall on stakes with Knights Inn. It is very easy to overlook.
Usually "locals" stay here as it is the cheapest in the area.
- wilbur (8/5): OK for the price if you’re on a budget. - If you are on a budget and just need a place to sleep this place is OK. Rooms could be cleaner, Staff was friendly and helpful enough. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was satisfactory. They actually had two fresh fruits for breakfast Plus bread bagels donuts and cereal. We were satisfied for the price.
- Thomas (4/5): NEVER AGAIN!!! - This was my 3rd stay there, and it was extremely disappointing. Floor filthy, bathroom extremely small, TV never worked properly (unable to get digital channels), room only serviced once during 3 day stay, not enough accessible outlets for chargers, etc. I've been at better motels in the same town. Never again here.
- gail (2/5): Dirty A - I have already done this. We arrived, our room was dirty and not made up. We were moved to a second room that was not cleaned, dirty socks and garbage in the floor and the bed was not finished being made.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Liked how soft the bed was and room was clean but fridge was way off balance and there was only one outlet and it was at the top of the bed and very difficult to get too
- Verified traveler (6/5): Last resort - Hotel under construction. Room remote did not work only a few channels worked on TV, no WiFi , curtains falling down.
- Kim (4/5): - The floor was absolutely nasty. Felt like ut hadn't been mopped in months.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Hotel was unclean, very rundown, smelled, pillows hard and lumpy
- Verified traveler (6/5): - You can tell this was a run down hotel that must be under new management or ownership. The room was clean and furnishings okay but dated. The ice machine wasn’t working. Staff was friendly. The buildings are just old and need updating. However work was being done so I think they are trying to fix up the place.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - A little modernization in some areas needed would be a plus.
- carolgS2841GM (2/5): Disgusting! - I don't know where to begin. Let's start with the bathroom shall we first the piss stains along the toilet seat along with someone pubs hair is beyond disgusting. I went up front to speak with the manager and what the hell I get an attitude from the so called lady who cleaned the room well lady you apparently don't know how to clean. I had my stepson with us and it's flipping nasty. Bed I question was afraid to lie down cause you never know if the bed bugs will get ya. I wouldn't let my dog sleep in this nasty motel. How in God's name do you run a business like that and expect great reviews. Not!! Sleeping on the E train in NYC is cleaner than this dump. Save your money and go elsewhere. Your welcome!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A bit run down, but clean and we'll kept. A good value.
- pattibl (6/5): iffy rooms - I gave this 3 stars not for the quality of the room but because I left my vision glasses in the room and after a few calls they were able to locate them and mail them to me. At first they wanted me to mail them an pre-paid box/envelope to send them back. 3-4 calls later, they were willing to send them back at and use my card and it ended up they sent them to me for free. The room itself was questionable. The bathrooms super small and very aged as with most of the room. It seemed like they were doing some updates but based on the reviews after not so.
- 6ix9ine_ (2/5): OH MA GAWD! - whoever goes here better prepare themselfs because if you want to get bitten on the buttocks i advise you to take one look at this place and leave there was hair in my food the staff was clearly getting an attitude and yelling in the other room this past recently when i asked on lady where the bathroom was she said right around the corner i then said "ok" but then what i got in the bathroom their was a bloody "tissue" and it was dirty like me rear end so NEVER AGAIN!
- nupieman (2/5): BED BUGS - nasty bed bugs, dirty nasty place, crack hotel very dirty this is the nasty dirty hotel I have ever stayed in, it is very dirty an nasty the bed bugs were so bad the maids would not clean our rood and we found out why the second nite there .... we were covered in be bugs from head to toe....
- O1157ULsandraa (2/5): Free night used reward points - This place was beyond horrible, first we could not find Knights Inn so we drove around for 20 min. before calling, we were told come to Days Inn. The room was way in back, when I opened the door I gaged, it was filthy, I wanted to sleep in my car, carpet was more black than blue from dirt and the smell was horrific, flipped covers back on bed the sheets had several cigarette burns, dead bugs on night stand, live bugs on ceiling, wash cloths looked uncleaned and the toilet ran constantly. Took photos
- KassieM_13 (2/5): Don't be misled by the photos and write up. - When we drove up I wondered if the place was open. We were put in a room in the very back away from anything that looked 'normal'. A shady looking person looked out their window when we pulled in...our curtains were visibly torn from the outside view. We opened the door and did not step in. It smelled bad, it was dark, hot and very old.
Other reviews say it is a dual property and we were told the Days Inn was 'updated', but not the Knight's Inn. Don't waste your time on this property.
- jpatrick50 (2/5): Horrible place - My wife and I stayed here years ago and it was basic but clean and nice with a friendly staff. This stay was a horror show. The room was filthy, dirt in the sheets, so many burn hole I lost count. Cigarette butts on the floor. No attempt was made to clean this room. The staff was extremely indifferent and we practically had to throw a huge fit to get anything done. Finally gave us another room which was at least clean but still reminded me of a horror movie set. Please do not stay here, spend a little extra to find another place.
- RJayT (6/5): It's Tolerable - It's a "duo motel", meaning it's a Days Inn and a Knights Inn, on the same site, which confused me, as I tried to find the place. Only the Days Inn sign is visible, from Highway 127. Anyway, the room was extremely basic, but generally clean and tolerable. Horribly-slow WI-FI. Breakfast was toast, Quaker instant oatmeal packets, and two types of Kellogg's cereal, with weak coffee and two juice choices. I might check out some other lodgings, next time. RJT
