Verified traveler (8/5): - 住的地方並不是真的機場旁邊，因為一定要搭車或者接駁車，不是很容易去到。服務有點慢，不過客服人員還不錯。入住登記和住的地方有專車接送，很棒。在住進去後，找了很久都找不到打前檯服務的電話在哪裡，原來是在住宿外面要去搭電梯的走廊。飛機聲有點大聲，但是像我們去哪裡都能睡的，也還好。地方很寛敞舒服。充電線要充電居然是要掃碼另外付費，個人覺得有點小氣。

The airport shuttle was very helpful in getting to and from the airport everyday. It helped in getting to local busses and the Metro system.

Verified traveler (2/5): Bed Bugs Beware! - There were bed bugs and so they changed my room. Even the new room wasn't good ...it was late and I was terrified sleeping there and woke up next morning to a bug bite. It was a horrible experience for the few hours of layover!!
Verified traveler (10/5): - The place is very beautiful and clean. The neighborhood is nice. The breakfast is great. People who work there are very friendly, and respond very quickly to requests. There are free shuttles every hour to and from the airport. Very convenient. Once at the airport, the subway can go anywhere, including the next city Foshan. And the subway system is nice and clean and very inexpensive. If you are in a hurry, there is a DiDi car there to serve you. Overall , I highly recommend this place, and will stay here again next time.

Andries (2/5): Poor communication, no shuttle bus - We booked the hotel for a long stopover at Guangzhou airport. Prior to the stay we asked if we could have an early checkin as we arrived in the morning and left in the evening. No response, also after several reminder emails/messages. So I booked two nights to be sure. When we arrived at the airport, we could not find the shuttle bus from the airport. Instructions were very unclear. We were sent from one place to another but never found the bus. The telephone number did not work. So we never stayed in the hotel and wasted our money.

Airport shuttle is supposed to be available, but only from Terminal 2. Was told to call to request for it upon arrival. Not a good arrangement for foreigners with no local line. We ended up taking a cab which cost close to RMB80, including tolls.

But definitely not 0.1miles from airport as advertised. Its 0.1 miles from the pheonix hotel in the same chain. Once at hotel it was clean and well set up.
Luis (6/5): Changed rooms+no shower working+No breakfast - Great place, super close to the airport. I arrived at 2am from Vietnam, then finally arguing with the taxi driver to let me go because he said he waited 2 hours in line. Then reception couldn't find me after 40 mintues on the system... Then, the first room's shower didn't work The phone is next to the elevator outside, I told them. They said they would swap rooms. After another 30 mintues, someone finally arrives and gives me the new key Without even taking the second one. Then I settle into the second room, and that shower wasn't working either. I gave up trying to change rooms again, so I had to wash myself with the glasses given to drink water with the tap. After I finally get into bed it was 5am. I check out explaining the situation, they couldn't care less and still charged me for breakfast. Best part about all of this, not one word of English was used.
Richard (8/5): sleeping with airplanes take off and landing noise - It is an apartment with one or two bedrooms.You will stay in one the buildings behind front hotel. Golf cart is available any time for transport between hotel lobby and resident apartments. There is a courtesy phone in hallway to call for pickup only Chinese speakers I guess. Overall, it is satisfactory but air planes taking off/landing on top of roof day and night, loudly. Free shuttle pick up from airport T2 arrival which is on 2nd floor, pay attention to shuttles/hotels pick up signs. It is hard to locate bus stop.

And there's bank and convenience stores within a 2 blocks walk. The room is a bit noisy thanks to being in the approach path of the airport, but nothing to ruin your stay.

Gigi (10/5): - Very nice place to stay. It is directly in the oncoming flight path, so it can be a bit noisy. They have a shuttle (coach bus) that can be boarded at terminal 2 in the shuttle area. Look for the name of the hotel on the side. It leaves every hour on the half hour. They speak English well.

Ian (10/5): 10 mins from the airport but takes 1hr 10mins - The apartment was very nice, clean and spacious., Overall very satisfied. The only downside to the stay here was the “Free” airport transfer. It is the only means of getting to and from the airport /bus station/hub other than standing in the main road trying to flag down a taxi. The problem is you can be waiting for an hour or more in the 38C temperature for the bus.Many other guests I spoke too agreed the transfer bus was the worst thing about the hotel. If they got the service down to 30mins max they would have scored 5* on everything.

We would highly recommended this for a night or two or even longer.Although much appreciated the free airport shuttle bus was every 30 minutes to one hour so you have to time it right so you are not hanging about in the intense heat.

Due to the distance and knowing I was to sleep there for several hours but not knowing it was far away and not walking distance, I could not take a nap and just showered. Godfrey (8/5): Value for your money - Just stayed a night to catch the early flight at the Bayun airport. Don't expect super fancy or luxury but value for the money paid for. Pretty surprised of the variety of food choices for the breakfast. Most of the local hotels in china only offer instant coffee but this hotel breakfast has coffee from real bean. Bonus for the early morning!

Verified traveler (8/5): - Pleasant stay for airport travel. Room is apartment like, clean and well organized. Food is excellent. Shuttle from hotel to airport is super but from airport to hotel is miserable. No clear instructions where to find shuttle at airport. Hotel must correct this or I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. When you call hotel absolutely no help to find shuttle location. Other problem is plane noise. Planes fly directly over the hotel , constantly. Very difficult to ignore. So overall I would not recommend this hotel unless you are an expert traveler who can tolerate plane noise.
Verified traveler (10/5): - We were quite satisfied with this hotel. The room was big; there was even space to cook if you brought your own stove! The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels (hidden behind the bathroom door), shampoo provided though no hand soap, and it was clean. The only thing I thought was a slight drawback was that we had to ride a golf cart from the check-in lobby to our actual place of lodging (which was like an apartment building), and in the morning we had to call on a phone to get the golf cart to come for us. As there was no phone in the room, only a shared one in the hallway, this was a little inconvenient. Make sure you leave the room 15 minutes before the airport shuttle bus you want to get on leaves. Oh, and the shuttle bus times listed on the room key sleeve were incorrect--it left for the airport on the hour, not 20 minutes after.

We placed a note when booking saying we needed a shuttle but when we arrived at the airport the help desk said we had to call the hotel for a shuttle. Since it was so late we decided to take a cab which took quite a while as the hotel is not that close to the airport. When we arrived at the hotel the staff were super friendly. The hotel is not in the same building as the lobby and we were escorted there by a few minute golf cart ride. The room was spacious but noisy (we could hear the planes). Taking the shuttle to the airport was easy. We were extremely happy with the hotel's staff, but we would likely not stay at this hotel again as the location was not convenient.

Did say 100 metres from Airport but drive on transfer bus was a few miles and 15 minutes. I had paid but then found out should have been free as was stopover and China Southern normally provide for free.
Pamela (4/5): Not near the airport - The room is located away from the main hotel. The design of the apartment is weird with large glass patio doors leading to an open area where I did not feel so secure. I would imagine that it would be really cold in the winter due to lack of insulation of the glass doors as opposed to a wooded secure door. Not too close to the airport, have to take shuttle bus, you get what you pay for and will not stay there again due to the stress of getting to the airport on time from the apartment building

Guadalupe (8/5): - I was very unhappy with the instructions on how to take airport shuttle to hotel. This was the only reason I booked this hotel because of the free airport shuttle however no specific n very confusing instructions wer provided when I requested them.
Verified traveler (6/5): Big department but took hours to find your booking - Right after the booking the front desk was difficult to have someone answering the phone. Booked one and a half hour before arriving at the hotel, the hotel staff cannot find the booking and I need to keep waiting for an addition of one and a half hour as no one can communicate with Expedia customer service. Finally at around 1:30, the staff have asked me to credit a 600 deposit and open a room for me. With the 4 hours sleep, I finally understood that they found my booking through Expedia. Carefully rethink twice when you book through Expedia at the midnight booking because neither Expedia nor hotel can find someone speaking Chinese / English.

To stay longer, I wish it has a Microwave & fridge. Since it is on path of plane landings, I wish they have glass on openings to reduce airplane noise.

The apartments aren’t easy to find, I’d suggest giving address for Country Garden Hotel, which is where you will need to check in for the apartments. The apartments are a 10 min walk from hotel, but they can drive you in a golf cart. Apartment was clean, good shower, hard bed. No major complaints. The WiFi was down when we were there, so I can’t speak to how good it was. A bus took me to the airport in the morning, that was great!

Jay (8/5): First Choice - I was on a business trip to Guangzhou, I found this hotel near the airport and had pick up and drop off service which was very convenient for me to transport from the airpot to any where in the city. They have regular hotel rooms and apartment rooms. I stated in an apartment rooms which was little distance from the main hotel lobby, but they provide service cart between the buildings. The room was very clean and quite. once a while I can hear airplane flying over, but it was not a big deal. My room including breakfast which i love it. The location is also close to restaurants and convenient stores. Hotel staffs was nice and warm, I am sure will come back again.
Verified traveler (6/5): Beware the shuttle bus - Nice hotel, basic but very functional apartments. As with other reviewers, I had issues getting the shuttle bus from the airport. The bus goes to Country Garden Hotel - from memory exit B5 (please check with the hotel though). There are lots of buses and little information at the airport, and the bus information kiosk was not helpful. In fairness I speak no Chinese. Ended up getting a cab, who took me on a fairly scenic route to the hotel. The hotel is not at the airport, it is a 10 minute drive away, but it is cheap and functional if you need to crash out before or after a flight. Once I got to the hotel the staff were very helpful, and the shuttle bus from the hotel was fine.
Verified traveler (10/5): Airport hotel - Close to airport about 15 minutes to hotel, can be a bit confusing to find Gate 19 for the pick up to hotel. Nice that they have a friendly staff member with sign to this hotel. Room was clean and modern was a pleasant surprise for the price.
Verified traveler (8/5): decent place - It is not far from the airport, but with a lot of detours. The address is not accurate and it shares a reception with a hotel. Booking breakfast is a lot of cheaper than walk-in. It is in country and there is not much you can do there. The room is decent and very quiet, because there are not many people in the building. Shuttle is every hour
elabd (8/5): At's all about airport - Perfect rooms good staff , perfect location for transit night , free shuttle bus to and from air port. But for staying in Guangzhou it's far awy and nothing to do in the area
Roland (2/5): Could not even check in - Hotel offers 24 hour desk and free shuttle from airport. But offers no contact information either by phone or email. At airport absolutely no way to contact them. None of the taxi drivers or airport employees knew where they were. Finally took a bus into town and spent the night at another hotel. So wasted a night charge and lots of wasted hours on a paid reservation.
Hardy (8/5): A very tidy apartment - I enjoyed my stay at the apartment. The apartment is great but is needs a refrigerator to keep the drinks cold. The breakfast selection is good and cater for most people.
Verified traveler (8/5): Hard-to-find free shuttle pick-up point :( - Although I made an inquiry to the hotel regarding the location of the free shuttle pick-up point, the hotel did not reply or contact me. It was extremely difficult for us, non-Chinese speakers, to find the shuttle pick-up point at the large airport, with most of the airport staff just saying, "Call the hotel," "Take a taxi," when asked about the location of the pick-up point. For your information, the free shuttle pick-up point is near Gate 19 on the first floor of the Departures Hall. Also, you might want to check out early considering that the apartment building is further away from the Phoenix Hotel, where you check in, and it takes some more time to get back to the airport from the apartment building.

Steven (4/5): Dont go here - Very ordinary and deceiving when you book online it states that the hotel is 0.1 km from the airport but is actually 6.5 km away . The address in English no taxi driver understood and when you arrive you end up at another hotel that take with a buggy to another hotel down the street

Verified traveler (6/5): - I thought it was okay, but disappointed that the beautiful pool in the pictures was off limits to those staying in Kylin. ours was a secluded not so clean rectangular pool I for-went.

rebecca (10/5): Excellent value for money - The room was of a very good quality, very clean, very comfortable and modern. Hotel staff were very helpful and at reception an English speaking member of staff helped hugely. Shuttle to airpirt was excellent. I made the mistake if getting a taxi fri. The airpirt as it was very early and I had a wee child, I thought it would be quicker. Big mistake, taxi driver took the fare but didn't know where he was going and ended up taking 25 minutes, instead of 7! I had to phone the hotel to get them to give him directions. I should have just called and the. waited for the free shuttle! The hotel has excellent facilities, which you can use, even when booking an apartment. Restaurant, comfortable lounge area and small shop all made for a very convenient over night stay, between flights. Would highly recommend, superb value for money. Only down side was the pool was closed and in 30 degrees, with a wee one, it would have been very welcomed. But the park is excellent and the air con in room helped a lot.
Kevin (10/5): Good Hotel - I did not take the shuttle from airport, but they do have a free shuttle. I opted for taxi as it was 3am and did not want to figure out shuttle logistics. Taxi costed 60 RMB. There is the main hotel / lobby (second floor in this place is where you have breakfast). After you check in, they use a golf cart to take you to another building / apartment. It is actually an apartment so there is a bed room, kitchen, bathroom, and a large living room. Overall all was good. Bed was clean. Two free water bottles were provided. Breakfast was very good, everything from pastries to omelet to salad, juices, and a surprisingly large variety of pickles! Staff speaks limited by OK English. I did not have any issues with check in, check out, getting taxi, etc.
NING (8/5): - There is no instruction on how to find the shuttle bus upon arrival at the airport. The information on the HOTELS.COM regarding the location is VERY misleading; it says at the airport, but actually is quite a shuttle distance from the terminal.
Jimmy (10/5): beautiful hotels - Helpful staff with good security. Also the hotel provide free shuttle bus between Canton airport and hotels.
