• Stef (9/5): Fabulous location!! - Big comfy rooms and big bathroom and very friendly and accommodating host Being on a main street, just be sure if on a weekend to bring ear plugs for sleep
• Chiraze (7/5): Emplacement parfait mais bruyant - L’emplacement est juste parfait pour rayonner sur la côte amalfitaine entre le port et la gare. Placée en plein centre de la veille ville parfait pour faire le tour et apprécier sorrente. La chambre est conforme aux photos spacieuse propre et agréable , la maison a été rénovée avec soin et le personnel est agréable. Si vous êtes sensible au bruit à éviter. Le principale avantage présentant l’inconvénient d’être au cœur de l’agitation . De plus les murs ne sont pas très épais et si les voisins sont bruyant cela peut gêner. A noter que vous êtes attenant à un clocher qui sonne régulièrement avant 7h du matin
• Paul (9/5): Really nice rooms, comfortable beds and great staff. - Location and nice room. Breakfast was pretty good considering it’s Italy. Good bed, nice Egyptian cotton sheets and en-suite facilities. Little noisy going to bed with the street outside but you are right in the middle of the lovely town. Breakfast on the roof terrace is lovely……..until it rains.

Personel güler yüzlü, ilgili ve yardımcı oluyorlar.. Konumundan dolayı gece sokaktan çok gürültü geliyor, ama kulak tıpacı ile çözülebilir. Duşlara su az geliyor, havluları eskimiş. Camlarda sineklik yok. Bizim gittiğimiz zamanda sinek yoktu ama yazın sorun olabilir.

• Joanna (7/5): Jak za tą cenę oceniam obiekt jako słaby. - Bardzo ładny pokój z łazienką, okna wychodzą na główną ulicę Sorrento (deptak) a budynek zlokalizowany jest przy dzwonnicy, więc jest głośno, ale obiekt o tym informuje. Śniadania akceptowalne, ale nic szczególnego, sok, kawa, z pieczywa jedynie chleb tostowy, żółty ser, salami i szynka, więc de facto na śniadanie można zrobić sobie tylko tosty, dwa/trzy rodzaje ciasta, jak za taką cenę to śniadanie uważam za byle jakie. Lokalizacja super, na samym deptaku. Śniadania- za taką cenę poza chlebem tostowym mogłoby być normalne pieczywo, ogólnie śniadanie bardzo skromne a produkty niskiej jakości. PROBLEM Z CIEPŁĄ WODĄ - pod prysznicem leci minutę woda gorąca, a potem kolejną minutę zimna, nie sposób wyregulować temperatury tak by spokojnie wziąć krótki prysznic , umycie długich włosów to wyczyn (mieliśmy 3 pokoje wynajęte ze znajomymi i w każdym było to samo). Ta sytuacja jest absolutnie nieakceptowalna, dziecko samo się nie umyje na pewno, bo może się poparzyć itd Z płatnego parkingu trzeba dojść z walizkami z dobre 800 m , a o tym nikt nie informuje. Może być to duży problem dla starszych turystów.

• Ediz Hakan (10/5): Çok huzurlu, keyifli, kargaşasız unutulmaz bir konaklama oldu - Lokasyon, oda ve banyo dizaynı ve temizliği, Sorrento’nun merkezinde heryer çok yakındı.Çalışanlar gayet cana yakın ve yardımcıydı. Oda Sorrento’nun en önemli caddesinin en güzel noktasında harika hayat dolu bir manzaraya sahipti. Kahvaltı salonu yetersizdi ancak böyle güzel bir tarihi yapıda bunu normal kabul ettik.
• Ainagul (10/5): i recommend the hotel. excellent location. good service. pleasant staff - there is a buffet breakfast with hot sandwich, selection of drinks, etc. you can have a breakfast at the open terrace upstairs. The view from my room was directly to the main street where i can see the processes of the Pasqua. it was very convenient. The room is cleaned every day. My room was clean and there are a lot of small stuff provided in the room, like slippers, shower cap, etc, that you wont always find in other hotels of this level. i cant say that i did not like it. it is more of a recommendation to advise the guests that if they leave the luggage they have to agree the time of picking it up with the reception or someone working in the hoter as your entrance card wont be working after you made a check out. there is no 24x7 reception and if you dont agree the timing, you can find yourself outside of the hotel without the chance to enter and pick up your luggage if you come outside of the working hours of the reception. I was not informed about this but i asked myself the lady who was serving the breakfast if i would be able to open the entrance door when i come back to pick up my luggage after the check out. She said no...if i did not ask, I would have left the luggage and then would not be able to enter the hotel to take my luggage back.

• B.G. (9/5): Super gelegen - sehr freundliches Personal - etwas hellhörig - Ausgesprochen freundlicher Empfang in hervorragender Lage mitten im Zentrum der Fußgängerzone. Sehr sauberes schön eingerichtetes Zimmer mit großem Bad. Sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal mit gutem Frühstück - bei schönem Wetter auf der Dachterrasse neben dem Campanile ansonsten etwas beengt im Inneren. Das Zimmer ist hellhörig sowohl zur Fußgängerzone wie auch zum Nachbarzimmer. Wenn man dies weiß, kann man sich jedoch leicht behelfen.

• Ieva (8/5): - Very clean apartments, helpful staff, and a great location—close to the train station and attractions. The only downside was poor water pressure in the bathroom and shower. I tried both at 6 a.m. and 10 p.m., and the water flow was very weak.

La ubicación es excelente, excepto porque en la noche está muy cerca de bares o restaurantes que hacen mucho ruido hasta las 3am. Se escucha todo el ruido de la habitación de arriba y la de al lado. El ruido de los bares y restaurantes no deja dormir.
• Kissaglis (8/5): Absolutely beautiful hotel, right in the centre of Sorrento main street - A beautiful hotel right on the main street of Sorrento. Close to the town, beach, train station, buses and many restaurants. Magnificent views of the mountains and right next to a stunning church. The staff are wonderful, very friendly and helpful, with tips on where to eat and how to make the best of your stay. Breakfast choice was minimal, but service was excellent. The noise from the street below, be aware if you're a light sleeper, you might need ear plugs, but this is expected in a hotel in the centre of town. Unfortunately, the sound proofing doesn't take it all away.

• Brian (9/5): Beautiful, charming, historic hotel in heart of Sorrento - Staff was extremely friendly. Great location in walking distance to everything. The building was very old / historic. However the room was very modern and comfortable. The patio overlooked the main pedestrian walkway and stores. Great if you like to walk right out and be welcomed by the buzz of the town. The beds were a little firm. The walls are thin.

• Giles (9/5): Amazing location, friendly and helpful staff. - Location was amazing, right in the centre of the town, on the main street, which is generally traffic free. Less than 10 minutes walk from the train station. It was great for transport and visiting the wonderful restaurants. (There is one called AZZ about 150m away that was really good). Lemon cake for breakfast was lovely. We would definitely stay there again if we went to Sorrento. The only downside is that it was quite loud at night. This was nothing to do with the hotel, it was just a feature of Italian nightlife. We knew this before went, and were happy to accept it.

• catherine (10/5): Would recommend and would stay again - Great central location, near to restaurants, shops, historical buildings & bus , train & ferry transport links. Loved this apartment. Virna’s communication is excellent, giving advice about transport, places to eat etc. we arrived much earlier than our estimated time and Virna came to meet us and let us in which was most appreciated. The apartment is very clean, with a great shower in a large bathroom and the cleaner comes every day. So pleased to have a kettle and mini fridge and water is restocked each day, a nice touch. It’s a noisy location, but that’s to be expected! So bring some ear plugs!

• Joanna (9/5): Good if you want vibrant and lively, not so if you want peace and quiet. - The location right on the main tourist street, with easy access to the train station and the ferry terminal, and smack in the middle of the shopping and dining district. Our room had two sets of French doors (the third was in the bathroom which was oversized), and a very high old wooden ceiling with a chandelier, which created visual drama. Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace, or could be taken into room when it rained. The noise at night. Due to the location we expected noise late into the evening from passing crowds (which were active till past midnight), however we also experienced loud car traffic in the very early morning (when the normally pedestrian only street allows service cars): street sweeper, leaf blower and hotel laundry service truck, which was parked underneath our windows with engine running and metal carts banging for an hour from 4am most days. The windows, even with shutters closed, transmitted the noise clearly, and ear plugs did not make much difference. We stayed 7 nights and the noise was consistently loud throughout our stay.

• Heidi (9/5): Simply a lovely stay for a few nights in Sorrento - The rooms were lovely, location amazing and the staff couldn’t have been more amazing! Breakfast was a bit on the sweet side - Italian style sure, however prefer a more versatile offering :)
• JOANN (10/5): - This is a great place to visit and stay; the hotel staff is amazingly wonderful and kind; super helpful with any questions that I had and very responsive; the location is great- it is on a street that is basically closed off to pedestrians only although you will see e-bikes & every once in a while, a scooter passed by; oodles of shops and restaurants right outside your door up and down the main street; side streets, also filled with restaurants and shops and beautiful historic churches and buildings; great place to base and see the rest of the Amalfi coast. The morning breakfast is a basic European continental. But there are lots of cafés nearby although mostly for breakfast it’s continental pastries and cappuccino / coffee. nearby restaurants also do the usual bacon and eggs, pancakes, etc.. it is very safe here although anytime we travel we of course stay aware of our surroundings, but I never felt unsafe exactly the opposite actually. Pack light as no elevator / lift as with many of these older buildings; we came in September/October and the weather was fabulous. Crowds are reasonably tolerable :) most merchants spoke English in the stores and restaurants.

• JOANN (10/5): - This is a wonderful location situated on the Main Street (walking street - no cars) a little street noise for happy folks outside but not enough to keep awake over ; comfy beds and spacious bathroom; fabulous staff ! Can’t say enough about the location and comfort; breakfast is typical continental light breakfast; because it’s a pedestrian street only, you need to drag luggage down the street maybe 1/8 of a mile if that; highly recommend this location

• Jan (9/5): Amazing Experience!! - We really enjoyed our stay within the Residenza II Campanile, Virna, the manager, with a very nice smile did a great job with communication before and during our stay, having everything ready for our arrival, with a lot of information regarding our stay and the area, the room was great and clean, nice amenities, the location is amazing within the heart of Sorrento. It really worth it. Breakfast might need a little bit of consideration. But this didn’t bother us at all.
• Gina (10/5): - Our stay at residenza ll Campanile was just delightful, the location perfect to everything , easy access to the marina lots of restaurants & bars, it is on the main strip with a lot of lively atmosphere, it was quite busy but once U closed Ur balcony doors the noise was soo minimal. We had a lovely rooftop terrace where we sat at night time and U could listen to the lovely street music from the main street it was such a vibe! The staff were very helpful and lovely would deffo go back and stay x
• Zeeba (10/5): Best pick I could’ve made - The location is so centrally located it’s literally a part of the Church, so the tourists specifically visit the Church to explore the town. Everything is pretty close by and it is the historical part of the town so just waking up to the beautiful energy is lovely. I did read a few reviews flagging that the noise from the church woke them up but for me that was not at all a concern, but what I would flag rather is that the breakfast is quite limited as they can’t use fire in the building. But there are so many cute cafés to explore that you’ll completely forget about it. The security is lovely as you’ve got double security one at entrance and one for the room. Plus Virna is an absolute sweetheart and very responsive over text. You’ll get great recommendations too.

The location is perfect, right in the heart of Sorrento and within easy walking distance to all the restaurants, shops, and main attractions. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and very well kept. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel so welcome throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, highly recommend!

• Olivia Grace (10/5): Excellent location & a beautiful hotel - The room was beautiful and was always clean. The staff at the hotel were super friendly and we felt very well looked after. Breakfast was continental and we loved it, you eat up on the terrace which is a lovely way to start the day. Excellent location, you walk out and you are where all the restaurants & shops are. The port is also a short walk away. The train station is only 10 min walk away too where you can get excursions from. We would highly recommend and we would come back to stay again! Nothing

Kahvaltı da yeterli ve güzeldi. Personeller çok nazikti. Özellikle Antonella’ya güzel kahvaltısı ,misafirperverliği ve güleryüzü için çok teşekkür ederiz. Bir daha Sorrentoyu ziyaret edecek olursam burayı tercih ederdim.

Right amongst the action on the main strip and a quick walk down to the city centre or beach elevator. The noise at night off the street was very loud, and the bell tower chimes quite frequently. If you’re a light sleeper this might not be for you.

• Hannah (8/5): Very good - Superb central location to explore Sorrento. The accommodation was clean, comfy and spacious. I would 100% recommend this accommodation to anyone staying in Sorrento. There was a bit of noise in the night and early morning from the street due to the location of the property. You can also hear guests in other rooms through shared walls - only a problem if they are up all night!

The place was so beautiful and the staff were accommodating and so helpful! We loved every minute of our stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to travel here.
• Riley (8/5): Lovely location and room - We couldn’t have gotten a better location + value for money in Sorrento. The room and accommodation was really gorgeous right in the centre of town. The air conditioning was really weak (expected as it is a historic building). Our largest complaint was being woken up and called by staff at 3AM, being blamed for locking other guests out of their room (we didn’t). It was very unprofessional from the staff and upsetting for us, no consideration for our quality of stay nor apology for disturbing us. It gave us a very uneasy feeling and made our safety feel at risk, as well as making us feel less important than the neighbouring guests.

• Melissa (10/5): Perfect base for Sorrento! - The central location, beautiful outlook over the church and main Main Street, and incredibly friendly and helpful host and staff. There was some noise through the walls to other rooms, but no problem for us.

Hotel is in the heart of everything that you want to do in the town. We booked on a weekend and it was rather loud. We did not realize we were directly on the pedestrian way and that made for a lot of street noise.

The trip was our first time in Italy and I had checked hotels in the area unit was cross eyed. It is the perfect location! The breakfast is included in the price of the stay and it was very good. Antonella was wonderful about serving us. Verna checked us in and went above and beyond helping us with any questions and transportation too. It’s a few minute walk to the Ferry Port. Maybe a half mile to the bus and train station. Numerous shops, restaurants, ice cream shops and pubs!

• Yi Linda (10/5): - We had a fantastic 5 night stay at Residenza Il Campanile and highly recommend it. The hotel is located on a street with lots of stores, eateries, coffee and gelato shops. We loved the location and walked everywhere. It is very close to everything - Piazza Tasso, the train station, bus stations (to the Almafi Coast), souvenir shops, etc. Virna and Antonella were so lovely and helpful and made our stay very special. Breakfast was great as well. Will definitely stay there again.
• Sarah (10/5): - Lots to like and I would happily recommend anyone to stay here. Be aware that there is no lift and stairs are quite steep. Staff are excellent but are not on site 24/7 however are easily contactable via WhatsApp and are extremely helpful. Breakfast is on an open air terrace with lovely views, however during our stay it was too cold to sit out. There are 2 small tables under cover or you can take breakfast to your room.

• Chelsea (8/5): - This place is a gem! Perfect location and amazing staff. Very friendly and communicative. There are 2 reasons I am not giving this location a full 5 star review. One is that there was a lack of hot water. The shower and sink lost pressure when turned to hot and it took a very long time to heat up. I am sure in the summer this is not an issue but it was in the winter. Something else to be aware of, the Main Street is very loud at night. We could hear full conversations from people on the street. I do want to stress that the location was perfect, the room was beautiful and the host was lovely.

• Irene (10/5): - What a lovely experience in Sorrento. This property is located right next to the church bells in the Main Street city center. Staff was very friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We missed our connecting flight and they were very helpful in guiding us to the property and assured us that everything was ok. Our room faced the main shopping area which was very convenient. We loved the sound of the church bells it made us feel energized and ready to start the day. The street is full of chatter and laughter. The bathroom was large and full of accessories even slippers. Great place to enjoy Sorrento, shopping and dining just steps from your hotel. I would definitely return. You will not be disappointed. There is no elevator so it jump started our workout for Amalfi and Positano.
• David (8/5): - Four night stay in October. Property is in the heart of city center on the main road through Sorrento. Sits next door to the Campanile. Can get a little noisy at night if you are a light sleeper or like to turn in early. Ringing bells in the morning as well which I enjoyed. Shopping and dining options abound in close proximity. Motor vehicles are not allowed on the street at least after a certain time perhaps 11:00am. You must walk about 150 meters or so to meet your ride or taxi. The staff is very courteous and helpful however the front desk is not staffed at all hours. A staff person is however available by phone. There is no elevator so depending on your room at least some stairs will need to be navigated. All in all a very nice experience and if you enjoy being in the heart of the action give them a try.
