Guest Reviews
- Sarah (9/5): Spacious accommodation with beautiful views of Queen Charlotte Sounds . - We had to book at short notice and the host was very responsive.
The house is spacious with great views
- Gethin (10/5): Would love to come back. - Amazing views and beautiful terrace for breakfast. Lovely cozy fire. The owner was also very accommodating with us making a mistake with our check in and check out(!) instructions.
- Matt (10/5): Clean tidy modern house with great views. - Perfect location to sit out a couple rainy days. Kitchen could do with a extraction fan for those rainy days. BBQ on the front deck in the sun defiantly the preferred option.
- Udana (9/5): Superb - Tidy and Nicely located in Marlborough sounds .had everything we needed.would stay another day. Only downside is the noise from booster pump or something connected to water supply system
- Stefan (10/5): Sound View - Beautiful View
Free Kayaks
The balcony
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional -

- Rob (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hoi (10/5): Stunning view, perfect for a relaxing getaway. - Gorgeous view! Living room was an ideal spot to hang out, enjoy the fireplace and look out at the beautiful view.
- Narelle (9/5): Superb -
- Deidre (10/5): Exceptional - Well equipped and lovely clean, modern property
- Katrina (10/5): Awesome views massive terrace to enjoy views and listen to the wildlife. - The view and the comfortable beds.
- Mary (8/5): Very good - The view and the place was very nice We would have liked some milk provided for a cup of tea and coffee. There was nothing open in Havelock when we arrived in.
- Seguin (10/5): Only spend one night but wished we could have stayed longer. We are definitely going to stay there again. - Clean, good kitchen equipment, beautiful view There is nothing I didn’t like
- Wendy (4/5): Service-able with a lovely view - The location is nice and handy for what we needed. The views are lovely. All the linen bins were full, we had to transfer someone else's dirty linen to another bin so we could use one, there was alot of rubbish in the wood pile also, old underwear packets ect. The Windows at the property were pretty dirty, a lot of hand prints everywhere. There was a cockroach in one of the pot cupboards. I feel this is a wide spread problem with getting guests to clean.
- Annette (10/5): exceptional location - beautiful house -
- Rebecca (10/5): Relaxation in the Marlborough Sounds - Perfect location , loved the deck overlooking the sounds Nothing
- Richard (9/5): Unforgettable views in Marlborough Sound. - Excellent location with premium view. The porch is enormous, you can enjoy the tremendous view in a very private atmosphere.
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Lisa (9/5): Beautiful quiet location and everything you need for a comfortable stay - Incredible view. Great quiet space to hang out with friends and kids. Everything you need to have a comfortable stay. As the fire is the only heating it would be good to have a guard to make it more child friendly.
- Emma (9/5): Superb -
- Bodycombe (9/5): A brief but brilliant stop-off between Picton and Abel Tasman. - Amazing location with no light pollution (apart from the occasional passing car) so incredible views of the night sky. Easy access from Picton and a lovely well equipped house. Additional heating would have been useful to take the edge off the cold but once the wood burner got going it was very efficient.
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional - We only stayed for a night but the beds were super comfortable and fantastic view
- Greg (10/5): A great stopover enroute to Picton to catch the ferry. - Perfect for our family with exceptional views. Fully equipped with everything we needed. Nothing
- Alison (10/5): An absolutely stunning location and view - we loved the place and wish we could have stayed longer - The view, the deck, the space A lot of stairs to front door ( but view made up for it!)
- Christine (10/5): our stay was memorable and enjoyable - location was beautiful it was very hot and we thought a couple of fans would have been useful
- John (7/5): Plusses and minuses - Clean. Easy instructions. Great location. Comfortable beds. Lighting was awful. Too dull to even read a book. And for the money paid, we expected a little milk at least. No shampoo or similar either.
- Kristy (10/5): stayed over Christmas break - lovely picturesque location! close to Havelock town, Picton or Blenheim nothing…maybe a shade sail or something for sitting out on the deck
- Tina (8/5): A stunning location and view. Well designed house. - Stunning location, suited our family group. Clean and comfortable.
