- Button (10/5): Wonderful, exceptional staff - A wonderful Riad full of charm and character providing a welcome respite from the busyness of Marrakech. We stayed in the Green Tea suite which was quiet, spacious and had its own balcony overlooking the central courtyard. Fantastic location, right in the heart of everything, 5 minutes walk to Place Jemaa El Fnaa. We loved the excellent breakfast served on the roof which changed each day, and also relaxing on the roof to recover from wandering the souks for hours! Above all, it is the staff that really made our stay here so enjoyable. From being collected from our taxi and guided to the riad (recommended) to the warm welcome we received from Khaireddine (along with much appreciated traditional tea and biscuits and a run through of places to see, pitfalls to avoid) to the friendly service and genuine interest in sharing culture, everyone was just so warm and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely stay at Riad 11 Zitoune if we return to Marrakech. Sara. Nothing,

Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll und traditionell mit marokkanisches Handwerk. Besonders die Dachterrasse ist ein Highlight zum Entspannen. Das Personal war außergewöhnlich aufmerksam, herzlich und hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich sofort wie zu Hause. Das Frühstück: Frisch, abwechslungsreich und sehr lecker – ein toller Start in den Tag! Wir waren begeistert und kommen auf alle Fälle wieder.
- cartycarter (10/5): Pretty, very central, fantastic staff team. - This Riad is a stone's throw from the main square. It's small and very pretty with rooms that look inwards to the central courtyard that has trees and tables and chairs. The rooms are not huge but ours were very clean and well equipped. The shower was good and the soap smelt lovely. The noise of the streets and call to prayer are just audible but not intrusive. The highlights for us were the staff, every single one of whom were charming and helpful, and the wonderful breakfasts with omelette, bread, brioche, fruit, cereals and pancakes. A special shout out to Ounouniss who served breakfast and was brave enough to sample the Marmite I'd smuggled over the border.

- Amanda (9/5): A lovely Riad with even lovelier staff - A very cute Riad, in a central location. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, they are doing everything and more to assist the guests. They helped us with the luggage and to find our transfer to the airport, even though it was 4 am. The breakfast is really nice and plenty. Due to the location and the building it is a bit noisy at night, nothing the Riad can fix though.

The inner courtyard is beautiful, our room and beds were very comfortable, and the rooftop was very enjoyable. The daily breakfast was delicious and relaxing. Most of all, the staff were all lovely--so kind, friendly, and helpful.

Knock on the little door and you're welcomed in to a gorgeous oasis of calm with smell of Fleur d'orange wafting all over the building. Our bedroom was fabulous, the rooftop terrace a perfect place to watch the sun go down and listen to the call to prayer, and inner salon was so beautiful and calm. Staff were great - very helpful and friendly. We had dinner on the terrace as only staying one night - delicious chicken tagine. Location spot on - down a side street from the main medina shopping street and not too hard to find. Would thoroughly recommend.

- Elene (9/5): Muy agradable y cómodo - El riad está decorado con muchísimo gusto. Tanto las habitaciones como las zonas de estar comunes son ideales. Las habitaciones están super limpias y no falta detalle. Además, incluye servicio de habitaciones y recambio de toallas. El desayuno es muy completo y te lo hacen al momento, lo disfrutamos mucho. Nos sirvieron de todo. Uno de los días tuvimos que pedir desayuno para llevar y nos pusieron una bolsita con un zumo y unos dulces. La ubicación también es perfecta, se encuentra en un callejón que sale directamente a una de las calles principales que van a la plaza, con todo tipo de comercios al lado. Muy recomendable. Todo perfecto, por decir algo echamos de menos algún detalle de bienvenida tipo té caliente. Es verdad que en la habitación teníamos agua y algún detallito más. Pero por lo demás todo perfecto! Están pendientes de todas las necesidades y ofrecen servicio durante todo el día incluida la noche.

Muy bien situado, cerca de una de las calles que van hacia la plaza pero tranquila, sin ruidos y sin paso de motos ni personas, por lo que el descanso está asegurado. El personal también de 10. Todos muy atentos y amables y deseando ayudar y hacer tu estancia lo más agradable posible. El desayuno muy rico y abundante. L’atmosfera del riad è accogliente e rilassante, perfetta dopo una giornata in giro per la città. - Charlie (10/5): - Before arriving for my 40th celebration weekend, the hosts were in regular contact to ensure everything was perfectly arranged. We were looked after by two wonderful hosts, Khaireddine and Oehdi, who were absolutely faultless. They welcomed us with drinks on the beautiful terrace, had our pre-ordered champagne ready, and even went out of their way to visit the market to buy birthday banners and balloons. They also booked us a table at Theatro and organised a desert quad-biking tour—honestly, anything we asked for was handled effortlessly. Each morning they arrived exactly at the time we requested with a delicious breakfast and fresh coffees and teas. I can’t thank them enough for making my weekend so special. The riad itself is stunning, from the intricate details in the rooms to the gorgeous terrace, which truly completed the experience. A huge thank you to Khaireddine, Oehdi, and the entire team for an unforgettable stay. everything was faultless

- Karin (8/5): - Perfect location and genuine atmosphere. Very helpful and friendly staff. Extra plus for the exceptional cleaning of the rooms and common areas and the generous breakfast. We where there in December and the rooms and breakfast area were a bit colder than we had expected, so it would be wise to bring warm clothes if visiting during winter.
- Françoise (4/5): Pas de contact avec la Direction. Personnel adorable et efficace. Je déconseille la chambre Olive. - La terrasse petite et agréable. Le patio est joliment décoré (froid pour y manger). Literie impeccable. C'est surtout le personnel qui est admirable : gentillesse et écoute. Le responsable sur place est compétent. Environnement : 2 bâtiments proches écroulés, pleins d’immondices. Intérieur : Escalier exigu. Pas de salle de restauration. Simulacre terminé par une cuisine rudimentaire (torchons sèchent à la vue des clients). Chambre Olive : Photos trompeuses (largeur de la pièce, douche en coin à la vue des regards, obscurité). Odeur de moisissure. Tuyauterie de la douche douteuse. Plus grave, porte des WC en verre fêlée en grande partie. Inéquation entre prix et prestation.

- Gianmarco_1 (10/5): Un soggiorno indimenticabile e stupendo. - Che soggiorno magnifico! Dal primo momento in cui siamo arrivati ci siamo sentiti coccolati e accontentati in ogni nostra richiesta. La struttura è in una posizione perfetta: a pochi minuti dalla piazza principale ma, nonostante questo, incredibilmente silenziosa. La pulizia è impeccabile, davvero rara. La colazione è ottima: sana, nutriente, con prodotti freschi preparati al momento per noi. Anche il ristorante merita una menzione speciale: abbiamo mangiato due tajine eccezionali, ricche di gusto e davvero indimenticabili. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Khaireddine e Mehdi, due persone straordinarie che hanno reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più speciale, sempre presenti, gentili e pronti a farci sentire come a casa. Persone così se ne incontrano poche. Infine, tutto lo staff è stato di una gentilezza e disponibilità incredibili: ci hanno fatto sentire così bene che non avremmo più voluto andare via. Consigliatissimo sotto ogni aspetto! Era tutto perfetto.

- Adnan (10/5): Sehr guter Aufenthalt. Top Personal - Sehr sehr freundliches Personal. Die Lage ist sehr zentral. Und das Bett und die Kissen sind sehr bequem und erholsam. Schon lange nicht mehr so gut geschlafen. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut und wurde individuell vorbereitet! Zum Abschuss gab es noch zwei Sandviches für sie Rückreise! Toll Sauberkeit könnte ein wenig verbessert werden. Aber für Marokko ist das glaube ich normal.

- Joan (8/5): - We stayed one night in 11 Zitoune and two nights in the annex 10 Mandarin. In both Riads we felt home immediately because of the nice staff, the cozy atmosphere, the intimate character and the tasteful design (11 zitoune is more authentic and 10 Mandarin more modern but both Riads are a feast for the eyes). In 10 Mandarin we stayed in the junior suite on the top floor; it was one of the most beautiful rooms we ever had. The Olive room in 11 Zitoune (on the ground floor) was also really nice but less practical and noisier. The breakfast on the rooftop, in both venues, was fabulous. After a day in the top busy Marrakech-Medina it's great to find peace and calm in 11 Zitoune or 10 Mandarin.
- Benjamin (7/5): - the overall stay was OK. the place is beautifully arranged. courtyard is very beautiful, the rooftop is nice to enjoy under the sun, the staff is very nice overall. the place is also in a calm area of the Medina (no noise from the outside). safe to go back to at night, minutes away from all the sites, I think the price-quality is not there. it was more than 170 euros a night, and for that price, i expect great everywhere. however, there were several tiny issues. -internal noise. place is quite narrow, you hear everything. we were not lucky to have quite noisy neighbors laughing out loud even late at night, that is not anything the staff could have done, but the staff was overheard laughing during the day, which resonated in the court, which did not allow us to enjoy the calm of the place for instance in the afternoon. - breakfast was ok. but we had two strange events. in one, no bread was made available (they offered omelette though to be fair.) however another time, i asked for a 3rd coffee and my partner for a 2nd coffee, and the member of staff told us we needed to be charged for these extra coffees. (which had never been the case) also, directly after, they asked that we settle these 2 coffees + a bottle of water, when we also settled at the end of the stay the meal we had on one evening and the taxis back and two the airport) - then you have the issues of a riad in the Medina: not so much pressure in the water, sometime moist/bad smell in the bathroom. nothing i guess you can do anything against, but good for clients to know.

- Claudia (10/5): Wunderschönes Riad mit dem aller besten Team - Wunderschönes Riad, mitten im Geschehen und trotzdem eine Oase. Man fühlt sich wie in 1001 Nacht, die Zimmer sind wunderschön gestaltet, es gibt eine tolle Dachterasse. Dort wird jeden Morgen für jeden Gast ganz frisch ein tägliches wechselndes und leckeres Frühstück serviert, mit selbst gebackenen Kuchen, Fladen, Obst, Joghurt und frisch gepresstem Orangensaft. Extra Wünsche wie Omlette etc. werden gerne erfüllt. Das komplette Team ist unfassbar herzlich und gastfreundlich, bei jeder Rückkehr ins Riad, fühlte es sich an wie nach Hause kommen. Ahmed der Besitzer hat uns ganz viele Tipps gegeben. Von Herzen nochmal Danke an alle, ganz besonders an Fuad, Sumaya, Mohamed und Medi, ihr habt unseren Aufenthalt ganz besonders gemacht, durch eure Herzlichkeit, eure Gastfreundschaft, euer Lachen und all die Tipps und Geschichten, zu eurer Kultur und Tradition. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder!!! Es war perfekt!!

- MARTA (10/5): Esperienza oltre le aspettative! - La posizione del Riad è ottima, vicino ad un Souk (anche più economico del Semmarine più famoso ma più costoso). Le persone che ci lavorano sono tutte disponibili, amichevoli e di una gentilezza infinita, abbiamo chiesto diversi favori (dal pranzare e lasciare gli zaini anche se avevamo già fatto il check out - anche il giorno dopo ancora, di stamparci le carte di imbarco per il volo di ritorno, prenotare il taxi e l'hammam..) e sempre ci hanno risposto di sì e sono stati davvero disponibili e sempre con il sorriso pronto ad offrirci del buonissimo thè alla menta. La camera pulitissima, ci hanno anche rifatto il letto (il Riad non è un hotel e non c'è lo aspettavamo). Sicuramente lo consiglio! Davvero ottimo servizio clienti! Eravamo un gruppo di 3 ragazze e alloggiare lì è molto sicuro. Conoscono molte lingue quindi parlare con il personale è davvero semplice! Grazie ancora e speriamo di poter tornare presto! /

- mckiernan (9/5): A beautiful, traditional riad at the heart of the medina with exceptional staff - hard to leave. - Breakfast served by Annas was absolutely delicious and couldn’t have been in a more beautiful setting on the roof terrace. The shower head was a little erratic.
- Volker (9/5): Perfekter Platz für Marrakesch - Die Lage im der Medina von Marrakesch kann man nur als sehr gut bezeichnen, man ist nur in wenigen Gehminuten mitten drin. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals kann man nur hervorheben, wir haben uns insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt. Wenn man in einer Riad nächtigt muss man wissen, dass man in dem Zimmer schon mitbekommt, was sich im Innenhof so tut wie z.B. Gäste kehren nachts zurück und unterhalten sich noch im Innenhof oder auf den Terrassen lautstark, liegt aber auch immer an den Gästen und deren Rücksichtnahme. Grundsätzlich ist es ein ruhiges Refugium im wuseligen Marrakesch. Wir haben im Vorfeld das Hotel nach einer privaten deutschsprachigen Stadtführung gefragt, haben jedoch nur die Antwort bekommen, dass aufgrund der Kürze der Zeit nur noch ein englischsprachiger Guide zur Verfügung stehen würde. Wir haben dann 4 verschiede Anbieter im Netz angeschrieben und haben 3 Zusagen für eine deutschsprachige Privattour bekommen und haben uns für einen dann entschieden. Da hätte ich mehr vom Riad 11 Zitoune erwartet.
- mirima-12 (10/5): A warm Moroccan welcome - We are a family group of four adults who stayed for four days at this charming centrally located riad . All the staff made us feel instantly at home and nothing was too much trouble for them .They helped with taxi and restaurant bookings and recommendations.Food was good, especially the selection of tagines which we enjoyed on our first night . Situated in the heart of the medina , yet not disturbed by the call to prayer or music from nearby restaurants . The warmth and friendliness which you experience as a guest here makes staying at No . 11 very special . Highly recommended .

- Abe (10/5): - 調度品、室内は最高に素晴らしいです。マラケシュの町と合わせて非日常を楽しめました。ベッドルームと小さなベランダが最高です。 朝食もアフタヌーンティみたいな装いで見た目も素敵でした。 しかたがないとはおもうけど、ホテルの四方のうち二面が瓦礫の山。 あとはシャワーヘッドが良くも悪くも見た目ありきで性能的に良くなかった。水量は問題ないですが、水の粒が大きめで、洗面所にはみだすように水が飛び散ります。でも、あえて言うなら、くらいの指摘で気にしなければ全く問題ない範囲です。
