- Galine (2/5): Worst hotel ever. - I stay there from Friday through Sunday morning. The first day when I arrived they gave me a horrible room which wasn’t the room that I paid for. After my husband argued with the ladies and the front desk they decided to change the room. They gave us a room which the AC wasn’t working and no hot water only one toilet paper, my husband and told them about the AC and The hot water a guy came to look at the water he said gave him a minute he’ll be back NeVER See him again. I spent the whole time there with no hot water and AC. The front dest was not apologetic at all, the lady told me it’s normal for the AC to stop working and it has nothing to do with them. After paying almost $500 for a room for a weekend I arrived on Friday at 2pm and Sunday 11:28am they were already knocking on my room door for us to leave. NEVER again, unprofessional, rude, no customer service at all.

- David (8/5): Not Great but OK - When I got to the hotel I was told my reservation was sent back to Expedia. I did not book through Expedia, I booked through Hotel.com. They did find me a room since it was paid for. The room only had one source of light a ceiling fan which did not work. The room was big, the water was hot, the a/c worked 95% of the time due to the fact they had a great generator. Wifi worked great in the lobby not great in the room.The bed was hard as a rock and a mattress spring was coming through.
- Aidan (8/5): - I was very satisfied with Sam's Hotel/ Apart from a shower glitch/disfunction that did not get fully resolved, it was great and cost-effective for a 1-nighter before flying out the next morning. Affordable Haitian dinner the night before with a few last Prestiges, and quick omelette sandwich breakfast early next morning. AC is good, room was spacious, staff very courteous. I recommend. The taxi the receptionist ordered cost $20 to the airport, so bypass that if you can.

Rooms not huge but decent size, bathroom very well done, bed good though full not queen size. Only issues - no coffee at 6am as promised, reception/billing very slow, and no table in room as it had been 'borrowed' for a convention downstairs!

However, I purchased the deluxe room and didn't think about it till I had been there a couple of hours n they just gave me a little room, it is close to airport but nothing interesting close to hotel. Standard overpriced Haiti hotel food. Nice view from the roof.

Meme en présentant les références de réservation, le personnel d'accueil ne peut procéder au check in.Cet incident a failli compromettre mon séjour à cet hotel. Le personnel d'encadrement est d'accueil agréable et ne demande qu'à se professionnaliser.
- serge (6/5): It is close to the airport - Well ! I have been going to Haiti for past five (5) years. And I have been discovered this hotel. It's okay though if you aren't looking for luxury. The staff are not too bad. And the room was fine. The only thing that I didn't like about it, is the cafeteria. The cafeteria should have be in a separate areas.
- Prince William (6/5): First trip to Haiti - The hotel is quite pleasing and the staff was friendly and helpful. This was my first time to Haiti, so I can not comment on what to do in the area as I was traveling north on the next day. The food that was prepared during the afternoon was quite excellent and made to transition a little easier. But I have to be honest where during the night there was no A/C and I did not have a pleasant rest, but the manager/owner didn't realize I had experienced that. I mentioned the problem earlier in the day and evening about the problem. The view from the hotel is excellent from the top floor as you can see far towards the mountains. I know the hotel is still working on improving things and I would still suggest to give the location a try.

- janbrigittev (8/5): A safe haven! - Sams hotel is new (since 2 months 02-17) in Port au Prince. Several areas still under construction (roof terrace and bar), but barely noticeable while staying at Sams hotel. Clean (air-co) rooms and friendly staff (who still need to progress by experience) and a safe environment in the highly unsafe Port-au-Prince.
- WSmythe (8/5): A Real Homey Feel near to the Airport - This is a new facility in Delmas. No two rooms are the same. Each room has a unique feature for a unique experience. The Hotel will open officially in April 2017, but is currently hosting guests. The rooms are large and very clean with excellent bedding. The facility is equipped with hot water. The staff was very friendly and are bilingual. I do think they should offer guess a shuttle service to the international airport. The rooms near to the road are affected by street noises. Windows need to be design to cancel those noises.
