Deb (8/5): A good visit at the Wilson Lake Inn. - We enjoyed our stay at Wilson Lake Inn. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was lovely and the view was great! The outdoor furniture was not in good shape, however. The room wasn't as clean as we would have liked. We see that the inn and it's grounds have great potential and plan to visit again sometime.

Verified traveler (6/5): - Beautiful location, but the access to the water is limited and the view is only accessible when down at the water's edge. The inn is not very accessible, and when asked for an accommodation the staff was brusque and unhelpful. Check in experience on the whole was poor -- as if "I'm really not happy to be here, and I'm sure not happy to help you." I fully realize all the limitations these days -- but being friendly, helpful and welcoming goes along way when the constraints are big.

Frank (10/5): - A surprise gem around those parts. While the rooms may be a tad dated, they were spacious, comfortable, and very clean. And the property is amazing! Spacious lawn, horseshoes, firepits, an amazing walk down to the lake with seats, a dock, and kayaks to take out. Its a mini-resort in the middle of Maine! Highly recommend

Matthew (10/5): - This place worked well for my one-night business trip to the Wilton area. The lake access was nice, and I wish I had a little more time so I could have gone out in one of the kayaks. The room was clean and the area was quiet. Friendly and responsive staff. Would stay here again.

The room was a good size and bed was comfortable We were there for a 5 night stay and had to go to the front desk after the 3rd night to request our room to be cleaned and clean towels. Then when they came all they did was make the bed, took the garbage, and leave clean towels. There was a soap scum ring from the first day the shower wasn't draining correctly they didn't scrub the tub vacuum or mop the floors. House keeping was very poor. Room was very clean when we got there. Normally I leave a decent tip for house keeping and there were 2 signs asking for tips but in this case I didn't leave anything .

While the rooms are small they are very clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable. Would stay there again without hesitation. Beautiful area of Maine.

Luckily found a great breakfast spot on the way to Black Mountain off Maine. Beyond that, place was dated but comfortable and clean. Checking in and out was easy enough. Didn’t get to explore the property but I’m sure the pond/ lake is beautiful.

Screen door closure mechanism did not close door softly. Caulking in bathroom was poorly done. Mattress was not supportive. Breakfast area should include refrigerated milk and orange juice everyday. There was no mention of the 10-percent discount at the local pizza place until after I made two purchases there and, then, the pizza shop informed me of the discount but did not apply it to the order. The lake is nice and the availability of chairs, picnic tables, and watercraft is very good.

Mary (10/5): - Upon arrival we signed out 2 kayaks and paddled around their lake for over an hour. Dinner and breakfast were at two close by restaurants. The beds were good for sleeping. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The inn is clean and safe.

Melissa (10/5): - A jewel! Very well kept and quaint. I am so glad I found this place. Staff and owners were very nice. Comfortable and the view on the lake was spectacular. Very relaxing after a long day of motorcycle riding. I would definitely go back there to stay.
Daniel (10/5): - A quaint quiet stay at a very clean, traditional motel style inn! The location is perfectly serene, with kayaks and rowboats available to the guests or you can just have a quiet sit lakeside. Just delightful!

Cull (7/5): Loved the location and lake access. - The grounds and lake are beautiful. Free kayaking and lawn games. Rooms are outdated and a little pricey.
Michael (4/5): - DISAPPOINTING: Have been a long time visitor of this property, but condition and service have gone down hill dramatically over the past year or so. Service used to be welcoming like you were visiting with old friends. Now it's sterile like big hotel chains. Rooms have degraded. Our door stuck so badly I had to throw my shoulder into it to get it open or closed. Room smelled like cigarette smoke immediately walking in the door, and then when I pulled back the bedding to get into bed, an overwhelming scent of body odor filled the room. IT didn't used to be like this. Not sure what changed, but disappointing for sure, and probably won't be back.
Kathryn (10/5): - Beautiful serene property and gardens right down to the shoreline. Adirondack chairs near the shoreline. Save dock to sit and watch the lovely surroundings. Wonderful, helpful, kind staff.

Kevin (8/5): - Nice lakeside area to sit and relax, go swimming or kayaking. They have kayaks and canoes available courtesy of the Inn. Paddles life jackets also provided.

Christine (7/5): Nice - There wasn't really a breakfast but having a coffee pot in the room was nice and the coffee was always on in front in the morning They advertise they had row boats they need to try utilize the the lake. As the lake is their main focus they need to invest some money in rowboats or John but style boats with electric motors so that seniors and families can enjoy the beauty of the beautiful lake which is their main attraction I would also like to say them look into licensing for food and serve simple foods there and make it available to their guests for those who don't wish an itinerary and want to simply enjoy the beauty of the lake and the beautiful piece of property that the lodge has.

George (6/5): Pleasant - Clean, quiet. We arrived very early and when told the room was on the second floor, we asked for a room on the first since we are each 80 years old and have trouble with stairs (especially after two hours in the car). The woman at the desk wasn't at all interested in giving us a more accessible room. And we did have a great deal of difficulty with the stairs Her dismissal of our concerns colored our stay. We won't return.
