• Kristina (10/5): Ideal family apartment - Our family of 6 stayed one night at the Twelve Apartments (apartment no.5). Everyone had their own space after a whole day out. Apartment was immaculate, host was attentive, very spacious shower cube in family bathroom, smaller en-suite bathroom with a single room, lovely warm water, central heating made the rooms nice and toasty, the beds were so comfy. We haven’t slept that well in a long time. Complementary tea, coffee, milk, chocolates, biscuits. Thank you for making us welcome. We will come again! None

Away from the chaotic, bright lights and sounds of the 'busy' end of the prom - but only 20 min tram ride away from all the action! The apartment is lovely! Very well equiped, clean, some welcoming groceries/tolietiries on arrival and fab hosts only a call/message away for questions. Perfect wee base for our long weekend x Nothing at all! Only minor is its an old building, so other residents sound can travel and we're early bedders but nothing some ear plugs would fix x

Nice touches such as complimentary milk, biscuits, juice and chocolates. Very little! Only thing we'd say is the shower cubicle was compact.

• Dave (10/5): Fantastic! Clean, quiet and easy parking! - The property was exceptionally clean and well maintained, the owners were fantastic! There were some basics provided and a few treats that set the holiday off to a fantastic start. Parking was not an issue and half of the time was directly outside the front door. There was no noise from any of the other apartments and if I didn’t see them in the corridor I would have thought we were the only ones staying. 2 minutes walk to the tram or a lovely 30 minute walk down the sea front to the tower were most entertainment can be found. I couldn’t find a single fault and will be making a booking in the future next time I’m going that way.

Kitchen is well equipped and the separate shower room was a massive bonus as we have a teenage daughter lol……. Only downside was all the stairs and no lift but we are a young family so we didn’t have any problems, just getting your luggage up and down the stairs could be an issue if older.

The apartment was spotlessly clean on arrival, and the welcome pack was much appreciated. The bed was fantastic and a great shower, too. Twelve is situated on the North Shore and is in a very quiet location, ensuring a good night's sleep. Would highly recommend it, and I will definitely book again.

• MICHAEL (10/5): Excellent apartment,amazing value ! - Excellent property , Maria our host , was flexible with early checkin , and we booked on leaving for next years same 4 nights to visit Rebellion Festival in august. Gave us her mobile number and told to call anytime if we needed, which we didn’t as everything was perfect . Fresh milk and biscuits to welcome us on arrival. Kitchen/cooking utilities all there for you as well. Clean bathroom (shower temp was a little temperamental but not a major issue by any means) . Would recommend to friends and family !

The only thing we wasn’t keen on was the hall sensor light which went on and off many times throughout the day and being woken up in the night if someone nipped to the toilet.

Shower temperature could change from warm to scolding hot quickly, my husband was lucky not to get scolded one time, it definitely needs looking at. No bedroom door could've sliding doors fitted

• Mcmanus (10/5): Fantastic location! Home from home! 10/10 - Stunning property, super clean and modern, very homely and f everything you would need in a home from home. We loved our stay at Twelve Apartments. Nothing at all. Even though it was away from the action, it was only a short tram ride or lovely scenic walk along the promenade to get to everything. We could see the sea from the end of our street and the tram stop was a 2 minute walk away.

The bedrooms are lovely and fit travel cot with ease. Everything was provided that you would require for a lovely stay - Maria was in touch right from the minute I made the booking and replied straight away with any questions. Very welcoming host and had a lovely stay! Nothing not to like!!

Street parking readily available. Host helpful and willing. Would book again. Only two very minor things, one the floor was a bit cold on the feet, fixed with a pair of slippers. Two, no door between the kitchen and bedroom meant I could sometimes hear when the fridge made noises at night.

The apartment was comfortable and just a 2mins walk to the coast and a tram stop that takes you along the boulevard into town. We will definitely stay again.

• Sandra (10/5): Highly recommended self catering apartment - Lovely quiet location, tram stop just 2 minutes away on the promenade or 20 minute walk to the town centre. Everything provided for self catering, apartment was clean, comfortable, lovely decor, great outside space (2 bed apartment ground floor), lovely host, great communication and fabulous price, highly recommended. There was nothing not to like, no negatives!

• Marscha (7/5): Good - Maria was really lovely and helpful and the apartment was very clean. It's a good location and I liked being able to cook in it. The kids slept in the double bed which was very comfortable. My partner and I didn't get much sleep on the sofa bed. It wasn't that comfortable. It was hot so we had to open the windows but it meant the blinds kept blowing in the wind making quite a lot of noise. There's a sort of alcove in the living room which isn't being used, I suggest putting a double mattress in there for people to sleep on.
