Guest Reviews
- Yu-Shan (10/5): - Its a really neat/cool place to stay for a night. The chateau is a little run down (as expected as its construction started in 1231), but that adds to its charm. The hotel room was beautiful and clean. The only issue was pink/orange mould on the bottom of the shower curtain.
We also had the best meal on our Southern France trip at a nearby restaurant (Authentique restaurant).
- Sarah (10/5): - We loved our stay. The property owner and host Isabelle is a lovely woman who made sure our stay was enjoyable. She called a made reservations for us at a local restaurant that accomodated us late in the evening. The castle itself was incredible. Amenities were as described, we were very comfortable. The breakfast was great. I would love to return again one day.
- Elena Silvia (8/5): - Never slept in a castle before!!! It's wonderful!
- Sylvian (10/5): - Not for everyone as the location is remote. Plan on renting a car to get there. Breathtaking views, clean air and a step back in time. Only stayed 1 night as part of a romp across France. Plan to go back and spend a few days to properly explore. And yes, it’s a real castle!
- Ovidiu (10/5): Castle for a night - Amazing experience in a 14th century castle. The owner and staff - very professional and friendly. Great experience.
- Elaheh (6/5): - --What I liked:
They kept it as close as possible to the original decoration, and it was great.
--What I didn't like:
1) For the visit, there was no note in advance mentioning that the people staying at the castle should pay for the visit. I would prefer to know it in advance than be charged 12 Euros per person at the end! (even though she reduced it because I told her nobody mentioned that).
2) Also, in the reservation email, the checkout time is before 12, but she asked us to check out at 10! I don't know which one is the reference!
- claude (8/5): - sejour tres agreable
- Jim (10/5): - This was a fantastic chateau set high up in the mountains. Had been restored beautifully and the host was very nice and helpful. Recommend a stay for a unique experience
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Suite molto grande all'interno di un castello fantastico
- Anne (10/5): - suberbe !
