As we were kept awake all night by noise we didn’t get to explore these places as planned The experience of staying at this hotel can only be described as like trying to sleep in a night club toilet. Ahead of taking a 12 hour flight, I was assured by the hotel that the room I booked was quiet. The bass from various sound systems downstairs/outside reverberated through the bedroom and walls all night and continued into the next day. With no AC, we were unable to open the windows due to the noise and the overpowering chemical smell of air freshener added to the unpleasantness of the experience. I contacted the hotel to request a room change and heard back the following day. I requested a refund as I was kept awake the entire night and the hotel refused. Worst hotel experience to date.

- Simon (10/5): A comfortable and beautiful apartment to visit Mexico City from - 10/10! - Everything about Casa Mannach was wonderful - fabulous location, great facilities, Pablo who met us was lovely. The building is beautiful, completely quiet, with a gorgeous lounge and roof terrace for the general use of guests. Our room, the penthouse, was fantastic, very spacious and beautifully decorated, with a very comfy bed and big sofa, although not suitable for anyone with mobility issues as it’s up four flights of stairs, but that didn’t bother us. Fridge, coffee maker and kettle were provided, so we could make tea and coffee. Overall we had a fantastic staying at Casa Mannach for four nights - lots of restaurants and cafes are close by and it’s an easy uber ride to most central sights. Over all 10/10 for us - we will be back to visit this amazing city again! Nothing negative to say :)

- Gerry (5/5): Could have been fantastic but the bar made it very difficult to be there. - The people, the location and the property were all excellent. The owner needs to decide is he in the hotel business or the bar business. They said the music would shut down at 11 but it went on until almost 3am on a Monday night. On top of construction next door that went into the early hours of the morning (which was not Casa Maniac’s fault, they tried to get them to stop), it was too much and we changed locations. We were disappointed because we really liked the people and the place.

We had wonderful access to Parque Mexico, as well as many different shops and restaurants. Pablo, the receptionist, was incredibly helpful during our stay, and was even able to accommodate a last-minute late check out request when a tour we booked unexpectedly canceled. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious, and we very much enjoyed our stay here.

Pablo and Ruiz, the mangers, were very responsive, helpful, and friendly from our late-night arrival until the point where we had to extend our stay unexpectedly one night because of some unforeseen circumstances. The room was charming, and, on the 3rd floor, quiet, despite the bar and street just below. And, with the mechanical shade lowered on the large window, dark for sleeping--we slept great! The location more or less on the border of Condessa and Roman Norte was perfect. And the bar just outside the door actually quite cool, even measured by the countless places to eat and drink in the neighborhood. We used the coffee maker in the common area every morning for the first cup of coffee; after that, plenty of breakfast places just outside. Really, a great space, great staff, great location. Highly recommend Casa Mannach.

Un detalle especial que rara vez se vive en los hoteles. Fue muy agradable. Y en sí, el acceso a la sala para sentarnos a descansar fue especial. Las escaleras de niveles superiores tienen barandales de vidrio y hay unas secciones vacías. Es muy posible que un niño, una persona mayor o una persona delgada pueda accidentarse y por norma, los barandales deben tener continuidad, sugiero que consideren por mínimo un pasamanos adicional. Yo tengo una situación médica especial y en mi llegada, no estaba enteramente consciente por lo que me percaté de estos barandales enseguida, se me dificultó subir. Otro dato, no supimos utilizar las cortinas black-out.

We appreciated the added kitchenette amenities in the room and the second floor communal area. Service upon arrival was prompt and helpful, though there is not a front desk attendant onsite. We were unknowingly placed in the 4th floor penthouse, which initially seemed like an upgrade, however, the hotel does not have an elevator, so it was quite a trek to climb 4 flights of stairs every time we returned to the hotel. However, being on the top floor meant the hotel was very quiet at night.

- Errin (10/5): Perfect location in Roma, Mexico City - Unfortunately the hotel was overbooked and I was put in the penthouse instead of the suite with the balcony I chose, but, it was the penthouse, so it worked out ok! (And I was in communication with the hotel and they did their best to accomodate) The room was super spacious with a kitchen and dining area that I may have used if I was staying longer, but it was a short stay so the location was perfect to walk around and eat and drink within walking distance. I had to call the hotel upon arrival as no one seems to man the front desk, but once I had their numbers and whatsapp communication was ok. If I had of been an international guest without access to a phone call it could have been worse.

This boutique hotel is located at a prime location which is very safe and travel friendly. It also has a few lovely restaurants around it which makes it very convenient. We met the owners of the property and they were lovely and very responsive. The decor of the property is stunning and very well maintained. We would definitely recommend it to all our friends! Probably the lack of of an elevator as we were staying at the topmost room but it was fine with us as we are young and fit :)
- Kristin (9/5): Great place to stay in Condesa! - The property was a great location. We stayed in the room with an AC and a small balcony. The bed was quite comfortable. It had a very large closet and more than ample space in the bathroom. We enjoyed that the room also included a sofa and chair. There was a central area that had wine glasses, small fridge, coffee maker etc that was nice as an additional space to be in. It also had a water filter faucet so that you could refill water bottles. The property is above a couple of restaurants and we enjoyed the music/city noise with our balcony door open. We couldn’t hear anything when the door was closed. There is a Walmart express about a 10 minute walk away and a smaller convenience store right around the corner. Also the team that runs the property is very responsive and helpful. - Sofia (8/5): - Nice cool house they’ve converted to a series of rooms. The apts are a bit dated (to be expected) but very spacious. But, I don’t think any of these should be for more than 2 guests. Felt very safe. No reception really. Great location. Floors were a bit dusty but the bathroom lotions and all smelled amazing. Cool balconies in the rooms (I got a tour of all of them lol)

If you’re looking for a quiet, safe place to stay in Mexico city with access to lots of restaurants and coffee shops you can walk to, this is the place to stay! Not to mention the beauty of this house and the neighborhood!
- Konrad (5/5): No elevator, but plenty of space in the apartment - We had an apartment on the 4th floor. There is no elevator, with luggage it is a pain to get up the narrow stairs. The rooms look much better and newer in the pictures than in reality. Price performance is right
- Sabina (9/5): Awesome location and great value for money - Fantastic location - easy walk to many restaurants and attractions. Very spacious rooms and super comfortable bed. Stayed on the first floor and the music from the bar downstairs was loud. We would hear EDM as if we were at the bar. Music would stop promptly at midnight. This was stated in the hotel overview but we weren't clear which room we had booked via booking.com.
- Angelo (7/5): We loved the neighborhood and location of the hotel. The comfort and service provided did not match the price point. - Perfect location! Beautiful building with unique decor. Cleanliness could use improvement. The carpet in the room was heavily soiled. There were other areas that were not cleaned during our stay. The room requires some repair and modernization. We appreciate the property is trying to do what they can for the environment, however, the towel replacement interval was not what would be expected at this price point.

- Jennifer (8/5): It was perfect for my short stay! Close to everything I needed and in a lovely area.m - I loved the location/street, the building and the design of the rooms/facilities. I like that it feels private, quaint and has the feel of a boutique hotel. The foyer of the hotel was a bit dark/underwhelming. Also, didn’t expect that there was no breakfast service.

- Abel (10/5): Superb stay in the heart of CDMX - Everything was perfect. Maybe the rooms need a little refresh, but it was really good all in. The rooms need a refresh, and we were there in December and there was no heating in the room.
- Eszter (7/5): Nice room in a great area but be aware of the noise caused by the bar - The property is perfectly located in a lively area with lots of bars, restaurants in a beautiful part of town, we felt very safe. The rooms were nice and modern and the staff was very friendly and curteous. The property has a lounge that can be used by all guests offering a seating area, a terrace with filtered water and tea. My room was a higher category, kind of a suite located on the first floor with a wine bar directly below the room. It was very loud at night you could hear and feel the music in the room which made it very hard to fall asleep. Not a good experience after a very long day of travel and when paying the extra money for a higher category room.

- Alex (10/5): Beautiful building in the perfect location. - The property was in the perfect location next to a bunch of amazing restaurants and in a very fun and safe neighborhood. We felt completely at home here. The building and rooms itself were also great and very nice. The only thing we didn’t love was the property didn’t have an elevator because it’s a historical building and we were on the 5th floor(top) so we had to climb those multiple times a day. We didn’t really mind it and laughed at ourselves struggling to do so. But it was a nice little workout for us each day.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not bad but some issues - Ok so you're in the center of mexico city but if you are noise sensitive this is not for you.. There was single glazing with poor sound isolation. Another huge issue is mould. There is no extraction in the bathroom meaning i found black mold on the mirror in the bedroom.. not good. The building is great, characterful and the apartment ameneities are top notch. Another issue is I was told I could leave my bags under the stairs in the entrance hallway. It did not fill me with confidence seeing the door to the street being left open, so I don't reccomend this. Great comms via whatsapp so not bad.
