- Juliette (9/5): Séjour exceptionnel et très reposant - L’hôtel est magnifique et le personnel super gentil! Nous avons été surclassés et reçu une bouteille de champagne comme cadeau du manager. Les chambres sont propres et spacieuses. Le petit déjeuner était toujours très bon même s’il variait peu, ce n’est pas une chose qui me dérange. Il y a vraiment de quoi se régaler. Le seul point négatif que je peux mentionner c’est le bruit dû aux aérations qui se transfère de chambres en chambres. Lorsqu’un voisin l’allume ou parle dans la pièce où elle est utilisée ça peut faire comme un écho. Mais ce n’est pas fort dérangeant.
- Alaa (6/5): Great staff, okay hotel - The staff was so pleasant, they were always smiling and willing to help and to go above and beyond for us. The hotel’s info online was misleading. It’s a rather small hotel, close to the town but you can only get there by taxi and overtime that can get expensive, and there isn’t much to do in Kos to warrant renting a car, so its just not worth it. There’s only one pool that is open for limited hours, and no close beaches to swim at. When the pool is closed there really isn’t much to do. They perform some fun activities for two hours each night, but other than that, the stay got rather boring.

It’s very nice, very clean and all round a nice hotel…… but it’s not luxury. We went onto stay at IKOS ARIA. That’s luxury. But I definitely wouldn’t put anyone off staying here. It’s really nice

Leider konnten wir nicht am Strand, der zum Hotel gehört, da es viele grosse Steine hat und Seegras und er auch nicht so toll ist. Wir haben dann ein Auto gemietet und sind haben schöne Strände gefunden.
- Kadriye Cansu (2/5): - Wir waren genau 11 Tage im Hotel, die Bedeutung Luxury ist vielfältig das ist definitiv weniger als Luxury! Im Internet stand, dass das Wasser am Strand sauber ist es war sehr beschmutzt man hatte keine andere Wahl als ein Auto zu mieten und an andere Strände zu fahren weil es so eklig war ! Das Essen war grauenhaft! Es war sehr wenig Auswahl ( keine Beachtung auf die die kein Schweinefleisch essen) ich selber bin schwanger und hatte 2 mal eine Lebensmittelvergiftung, sodass ich mich nach dem Abendessen direkt übergeben musste und starke Schmerzen hatte. Das Personal an sich war ok. Das Zimmer wurde nicht immer richtig sauber gemacht, es laufen kleine Ameisen im Badezimmer. Wir haben so viel gezahlt und haben für All Inklusive die letzten 7 Tage das Mittagessen ausgelassen, da es keine Auswahl gab und wir Angst hatten wieder eine Lebensmittelvergiftung zu bekommen daher haben wir immer von auswärts essen geholt. Das Hotel sollte lieber das Wort Luxury aus dem Internet nehmen da es überhaupt nicht wert ist für so ein Hotel dieses Wort zu verwenden.
- Monique (7/5): Alles in allem ein positiver Aufenthalt. - Das Frühstück war reichhaltig, abwechslungsreich, viele Variationen. Das Hotel liegt etwas abgelegen, die Aussicht macht das aber wett. Die Zimmer sind hübsch eingerichtet, gemütlich. Das Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Der Strand. Er ist klein, schmutzig und es ist schwierig zwischen den grossen Steinbrocken ins Meer zu kommen. Vor allem für ältere Gäste eine Gefahr sich durch die Wellen an einem dieser Felsbrocken zu verletzen. Aufgrund dessen haben wir ein Auto gemietet und die Insel erfahren... Hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt.

I have only given it a 3 star rating as itis definitely not a "luxury" resort I cant fault the staff they were all lovely We only did bed and breakfast which was ok. There was a good selection to choose from but if you went later the scrambled eggs and omlettes were solid There is a lovely balcony area over the beach where you can sunbathe with another place to get food which you had to pay for not sure if you had to pay if you were doing all inclusive but believe you did. Food wss good but club sandwich was served in a pizza box! All drinks were served in plastic glasses in both pool side and balcony area Towels were our main issue - they were supposed to be distributed at 10 am by the pool. They were normally grabbed prettyquickly if you missed to get one you had to wait until 11.45 for the next batch. We learnt quickly to hang on to ours from the previous day There is the Dolphin Bay Taverna next door to thr hotel which was very good You can also walk from there along the the beach on a path to Machacari it takes about 30 mins There sre quite a few restaurants and bars which were really good it had a lovely vibe there. Overall the hotel is nice just a bit dated and housekeepiig in our room was a bit hit and miss. Some days cleaned thouroughly other days duvet litrrally thrown back up and old towls left on side

- Cinzia (6/5): Albergo con potenzialità - La posizione è molto bella. Si trova fronte mare con una vista bellissima. Poca attenzione ai dettagli nelle stanze. In 4 giorni la tazzina del caffè che abbiamo usato il primo giorno non è mai stata cambiata ma lasciata sporca sulla mensola. Le cialde del caffè complimentary in stanza erano solo due e una volta consumate non sono mai state sostituite. Nel bagno non c'è niente sul quale appendere gli asciugamani per l'igiene personale che vanno per cui lasciati nella stanza o sul lavandino. La cucina, self service, lascia a desiderare. Inoltre non vengono messe le etichette vicino ai piatti per cui non è possibile capire che tipo di carne o pesce sia offerto e gli ingredienti contenuti. Per chi ha allergie alimentari questo è un problema. Comunque con qualche attenzione più il posto ha grosse potenzialità

- Kyara (6/5): - Wir haben einige schöne Tage im Ammos Luxury Resort verbracht. Das Zimmer war grosszügig, sauber und angenehm, und besonders die weiblichen Mitarbeitenden waren stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt hatten wir einen guten Aufenthalt. Allerdings sollte man den Begriff Luxury mit Vorsicht geniessen: Die Anlage wirkt an einigen Stellen etwas abgewohnt und nicht ganz durchdacht, der Verbau ist teilweise nicht hochwertig verarbeitet und die Details stimmen nicht. Es ist sauber, aber optisch wirkt es manchmal etwas schmuddelig. Ein paar Punkte haben uns den Aufenthalt getrübt: • Beim Frühstück war die Auswahl wenig überzeugend, geschmacklich leider gar nicht fein. • Das Personal am Morgen, insbesondere die männlichen Angestellten, wirkte eher unangenehm durch aufdringliche Blicke. • Nach der Zimmerreinigung war einmal sogar die Schranktür ausgehängt. • Der Strand ist leider sehr enttäuschend – verschmutzt, mit defekter Dusche und insgesamt weit entfernt von dem, was man bei einem „Luxury Resort“ erwartet. • Zudem ist das Hotel nur mit dem Auto wirklich gut erreichbar.
- amelia (8/5): Great stay! Just small improvements - We loved the lay out of the room, it was always cleaned very well and incredibly tidy. Great views of the sea out the back of the hotel. Bar lady around the pool was lovely and the temp of the pool was great too. Not enough sun beds around the pool, lots of room but less than 50 sun beds I’d say. There were some down a steep hill but after doing it for 3 days we didn’t want to keep walking down the hill and there is no railing to hold on to. Was bit worried about slipping. Breakfast was ok, never boiling hot. Could do with more fresh hot options. We stayed B&B and asked about price for lunch it was 25 euros each which is extortionate. We ended up 5 mins down the road and paid 20 euros for 2x meals and 3x drinks.
- Otto (8/5): Nice resort "above the beach" with attentative staff. - Convenient location not far from airport, beaches and Mastichari village. Good if you have rented car. We had bed & breakfast and the breakfast was very nice. Rooms were spacious enough with good services (celaning, reception, pool bar). Hotel takes mostly all inclusive guests but its still quiet place (pool side entertainment is moderate and ends by 11 p.m. ...the best was the guitar singer & player, the worst the karaoke, but this is my personal opinion of course) Beach is mostly rough and not very clean (kelp and plastic trash) but this can not be managed by hotel of course. For better beaches you need to head more to the east or south. Not much shadow around pool (but chill ot arera aove sea is fine).
- Stefania (6/5): Lontano dal 5 stelle! - -Il personale disponibile e gentile, pronto a soddisfare le esigenze del Cliente (per quel che possibile). -Il bar vicino alla spiaggia con tante cose sfiziose da mangiare e con vista bellissima (peccato chiuda alle 18)! -La piscina curata. -La pulizia inesistente: il lavandino sporco, gli asciugami non erano mai perfettamente puliti, la stanza veniva pulita giornalmente ma in modo superficiale. -La cucina: abbiamo cenato lì una sola sera ma il cibo non ci ha soddisfatto affatto, la colazione era povera di scelte dolci. -I lettini venivano occupati (sia in spiaggia che in piscina) con asciugamani per “mantenere il posto”, cosa inaccettabile perché c’era chi si ritrovava una giornata sulla sedia del bar! -La posizione bella perchè regala la vista su tramonti meravigliosi sul mare ma scomoda se non si ha un mezzo per muoversi (nei dintorni non c’è nulla di facilmente raggiungibile). Non so davvero come faccia questa struttura ad essere considerata un 5 stelle (dimensioni minuscole del lavandino del bagno, pulizia inadeguata, prese di corrente nelle camere non funzionanti..). Il prezzo è troppo alto per quel che realmente la strutttura è e offre.

- Hannes (9/5): Exceptional Hospitality Turns a Rocky Start into a Wonderful Stay - When we arrived, the hotel was unfortunately overbooked. However, the management – especially Sevasti – handled the situation with great professionalism and care. We were accommodated in a equivalent hotel for one night, and received wine and fruit in our room as compensation. Sevasti also managed to get us a fantastic last-minute table at Oromedon restaurant in Zia. The hotel itself is modern, well-maintained, with friendly staff, an excellent breakfast, and high-quality sunbeds at the pool and beach. Despite the rocky start: highly recommended! -

- Laurence (9/5): Superb - Great location - close to a sandy beach, and also has access to a paved walkway leading to Mastichari (with choice of other sandy stretches of beach along the coastline) Reasonable choice of food at breakfast and dinner. Wonderful views from the airy dining room. Friendly, helpful staff - thanks to Maria who managed to get us a taxi to the airport at short notice.

Close to sea but not much to do - The room is very good, the view (we had the sea view) is beautiful and we loved easy acces to the beach. The staff is amazing, even some that have some difficulty with english, they do try their best. Because of Evgenia we had a wonderful stay and because of people like her( and the really friendly restaurant staff) that really go the “extra mile” like she does, makes us want to come back. It felt like they were still renovating, the spa was only a sauna or pay 200€ for a massage p.p. I personally wouldnt advertise with 5 stars because it leads to certain expectations.

- Lois (4/5): Very disappointing, disgusting rooms - good views Really disappointed with the hotel, it was meant to be 5 start but so much needed work. There was missing plaster from the walls, the railings into the pool were almost falling over, the first room they gave us was absolutely disgusting with black mould up the shower wall.

- Lee (7/5): Disappointing as I said I doubt booking com description of future holidays - The pool was clean and cold perfect for me. The yoga and aerobics was good fun well run. I saw nothing that says luxury about this hotel. Lots of it is run down and grubby. There is no restaurant at best it’s a self service cafeteria. Full inclusive is misrepresentation the only food was during limited cafeteria opening . There was no food available at the pool bar. Nowhere was there any waiter service not by the pool or in the cafeteria. All in all at best this is a good three star hotel . It’s left me doubting booking com description of uour hotels

- Joe49 (4/5): Disappointing stay in a so called 5 star hotel which deserves not more than 3 stars - The breakfast met my expectations with its extensive variety. The bed was made every day, and the coffee maker's capsules were restocked. The reception area alone had the feel of a five-star hotel. Both the outdoor and pool areas were kept in excellent condition. The hotel is perfect for families, particularly those opting for an all-inclusive stay. Upon entering the room, one encounters a jammed door that necessitates a forceful slam to shut, indicating the door frame requires fixing. The main concern, however, lies with the bathroom. Although it is equipped with essentials such as shampoo, body lotion, and hand soap, it is missing a towel rack or shelf for personal items like deodorizers and perfumes. The act of showering leads to the bathroom flooding, which then requires a towel to clean up the water. The room's safe was problematic; its electronics malfunctioned, resulting in the need for a technician to open my safe three times within five days. The balcony of room 217 was shaded throughout the day, providing a view of the dining area merely five meters away. The room would benefit from more furniture for storing personal items. The closet is woefully insufficient for a couple's clothing. I question whether any of the staff have been trained in hotel management.In my opinion, the staff was overwhelmed and out of their depth. You may think I'm a spoiled Swiss brat, but I certainly know five-star hotels, and this is definitely not one of them.

- Dennis (4/5): As a frequent traveller, the accomodation was pretty disappointing. - Private beach was nice, and the bed was comfortable. Front desk personnel was friendly. The AC was leaking water, after contacting the front desk they sent an technician and they said ‘it’s normal’ and didn’t fix it. The hallway sometimes smelled like sewage. Shower drain was blocked, after the technician came they fixed the blockage but left a mess in the shower. Rooms were not very clean after housekeeping had been, there was still sand on the floor.

- Francesco (10/5): Relaxing and picturesque. - The room was amazing, the food was yummy, the jacuzzi and the terrace in front of the sea. The lady at the reception was helpful and kind. Staff in general was not very accommodating. For example we were not offer any drinks into a restaurant, they were taking out the food 10 minutes before the closing time . And they were more bothered to interact between them. I tried few times eye contacts to get one glass of wine. But was unsuccessful.

The staff were very nice and helpful they organised transfers for us from the port and to the airport as well as organising a taxi for us into the town whenever we needed. The room was lovely and modern and clean. The bed was really comfortable as well. The pool was great and had plenty of sunbeds and towels supplied. The beach was beautiful and also had sunbeds and an amazing view (beautiful to watch the sunset). We only stayed for our last night and was flying late the next day but they held our luggage and allowed us to continue to use the facilities until we left which we were delighted with. Not a dealbreaker but the room didn't have hooks to hang up towels or a bathmat which would have been handy as water does come out of the shower onto the floor of the bedroom. The breakfast wasn't great for what we would have expected.
- Dana (6/5): - This hotel has so much potential and could be beautiful. The seating area which overlooks the beach feels like a car park and there is an abandoned dining area next to it which could be so beautiful if it was set up with a barbecue and food et cetera, rather than just abandoned. When we arrived, the lady checking us in did not seem to know about our rival and initially gave us one room whereas we had booked two rooms and she seemed surprised and confused. The service improved somewhat after that but things like changing sheets didn’t happen once in our hotel room over the period of a week And the replacement of towels was very poor as well. We arrived to the hotel at 10:30 and were very hungry and were told that there was no food for us to eat and that they could not arrange for some bread and cheese even which seems unusual for a five star hotel. There is no transport from the hotel to nearby towns which is unfortunate as it is quite isolated in the area it is in and the smallest request seem to cause confusion in reception, With exception of one or two members of staff who seem efficient and able to help. When they were not on their shift, there were inevitable difficulties in organising the smallest things. All in all fairly disappointing experience with exception of the beautiful Mediterranean sea and restaurants around the island.

- Maria (4/5): - While the resort is tidy and neat, the beach is rocky and not swimmable. Pool was clean. Cleaning lady only came once during our 4day stay. Hair found on buffet food items twice on different occasions. Had to call for clean towels and toiletries. NO ONE SPOKE ENGLISH OR GREEK!! Don’t even know what language staff spoke. Oh. The resort is a 35$ ride from port so rent a car!!
