- Claudia (9/5): - The facilities were incredibly beautiful: the view from our room looked like a postcard. We also really liked the stone pool, the plants all around. The staff was super helpful with helping us book all transfers to and from the hotel + giving us advice on a nice walk around the rice fields As beautiful as the rooms were, they are cabanas so they were not well isolated, sound and temperature-wise. It was warm outside when we visited and it was challenging to keep a cool temperature in the room even with AC.

- Graniet (8/5): Weergaloze uitzichten! - Het uitzicht vanuit onze kamers 501 en 502 Premier Bungalow was weergaloos. Personeel vriendelijk en avondeten was heerlijk. Je bent in de natuur, dus je neemt de insecten op de koop toe, maar dan is de schoonmaak van de kamer wel erg belangrijk. We hebben uiteindelijk om 16.00 uur maar om schone handdoeken gevraagd, omdat er geen schoonmaker langs was geweest. Dat kan verbeterd worden. Bij het zwembad zijn er een aantal tegels buiten en in het zwembad kapot, die zou ik snel repareren om te voorkomen dat iemand zich verwond.

- Rob (10/5): Een erg mooi resort op een prachtige plek, aanrader. - De locatie was prachtig, we hadden een kamer met uitzicht over de rijstvelden en de bergen. Hier kan de accommodatie niets aan doen, want je zit nu eenmaal tussen de rijstvelden en allerlei tropische planten, maar we hadden ‘s avonds ‘ongenode gasten’ op de kamer. Gelukkig hing er een klamboe.

- Tobias Andreas (10/5): Traumhafter Blick auf die Reisfelder - Tolle Lage mit tollem Blick auf die Reisfelder. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Team. Haben über das Hotel eine 1,5 tägige Tour gebucht, welche ein absolutes Highlight war. Das Essen war sehr lecker, jedoch etwas teurer als im Dorf. Dank des Teams haben wir unser neues Lieblingsbier entdeckt und haben zum Abschied sogar 3 Dosen geschenkt bekommen - Vielen Dank nochmal <3 Besonders empfehlen können wir, neben dem lokalen Bier, das Hähnchen mit Zitronengras und Chili, Schwein, Rind und Fisch, sowie die Frühlingsrollen - eigentlich alles ;) Das Zimmer war sehr groß und vom Balkon hatten wir einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Reisfelder. Nichts! Wir kommen gerne wieder! Kleine Verbesserungsvorschläge: - ein bisschen mehr Licht im Bad - Insektenspray im Zimmer (da das Hotel in der Natur ist, sind immer ein paar Mücken im Zimmer) Aber: das Mückennetz über dem Bett ist, wenn man es rechtzeitig spannt, bereits ein guter Schutz

- Philippe (10/5): A Memorable Stay in a Beautiful Setting - A lovely hotel with breathtaking views over the rice fields (we stayed in room 502). The staff are charming, attentive, and always willing to help. We chose Program No. 4 (DIVI Tour) offered by the hotel to explore the region with a guide, and it was an excellent experience: perfectly organized, full of wonderful discoveries, and with very pleasant guidance throughout. The food is absolutely delicious. The small wine list is also a very nice surprise, especially the excellent Italian Primitivo, offered at a surprisingly reasonable price. We were very pleasantly impressed by the overall quality of the hotel and its services. The only small point for improvement: the pool filtration system seemed to be out of service during our stay. - Silvia (6/5): Accettabile se ci cerca l’esperienza autentica, ma non è un Boutique Hotel - Il panorama è senza dubbio il punto di forza della struttura: con una camera vista risaie la vista è davvero mozzafiato. Detto questo, per i miei standard la struttura è più simile a una guesthouse che a un resort o boutique hotel, come invece viene presentata. Anche da un punto di vista economico, noi abbiamo pagato relativamente molto rispetto ad altre strutture nel paese. La camera era ampia, ma la pulizia è piuttosto discutibile: essendo immersa nella campagna è normale mettere in conto umidità e qualche animaletto, tuttavia ho soggiornato in altre strutture tra le risaie dove il verde e gli spazi esterni erano curati in modo impeccabile. Qui purtroppo la manutenzione generale lascia a desiderare, cose abbandonate dietro agli spazi comuni, etc. La struttura è molto semplice, autentica sicuramente, ma è importante specificarlo per non creare aspettative sbagliate visto che si definiscono Boutique Hotel. Lo staff fa il possibile per essere di supporto, tuttavia solo 1 persona parlava inglese. Nota dolente il cibo. Abbiamo provato la cena con il Pho, ma i noodles serviti erano chiaramente quelli confezionati istantanei. Dopo 14 giorni in Vietnam, è stata l’unica volta in cui ci è capitato, quindi non credo sia una consuetudine locale. Anche la colazione non è stata soddisfacente: esclusivamente asiatica e, a mio parere, di qualità modesta. Non mi aspettavo prodotti occidentali elaborati, ma anche solo biscotti secchi, una torta semplice, cereali base e latte fresco sarebbero stati sufficienti. In confronto, abbiamo fatto colazioni decisamente migliori in altre strutture. Non lamento qualcosa in particolare. La struttura è di per sé accettabile se si cerca l’esperienza molto autentica. In sintesi: vista splendida e atmosfera autentica, ma struttura molto basica, poco curata e con un’offerta food che non giustifica il posizionamento dichiarato. Forse noi con due ragazzini piccoli (5 e 8) abbiamo esigenze anche alimentari che per quanto cerchino di sposare le abitudini locali sono difficili da collimare con alcune necessita dei bimbi (soprattutto se già in viaggio gia da diversi giorni).

- Elvina (10/5): Séjour au top - C'était le meilleur hôtel de nos deux semaines au Vietnam. Et le point fort de l’hôtel c'est la vue sur les rizières. C’est magnifique. Les couleurs changent en fonction des heures de la journée. La piscine est très agréable. Les "tentes" sont confortables et propres. Nous avons pris une excursion avec l’hôtel mais le jour venu il pleuvait des cordes. Nous avons demandé à décaler de quelques heures l’excursion et à la faire en voiture plutôt qu'à scooter. Ça n'a pas été un problème. Tout a été vite réorganisé. Ils sont très réactifs. Le petit-déjeuner est un peu trop simple à mon goût.

Purtroppo la camera ed il bagno non sono completamente isolati dall'esterno quindi posso entrare tutti gli insetti, ma d'altronde sei nella natura quindi è un compromesso che devi accettare se vuoi soggiornare in strutture del genere.
- Samir (3/5): Voor ons helaas een behoorlijke domper. - Het Zwembad en uitzicht bij het zwembad was erg mooi. Wij reizen veel maar ons verblijf hier konden we helaas niks van maken. Slaapkamers bij het restaurant met uitzicht op de Bergen die wij geboekt hadden waren slecht en veel te duur voor een slaapzaal principe. Het Leek wel een slaapzaal met schotten er tussen. Matrassen waren beton hard. Eten in het restaurant was zwaar ondermaats en het personeel viel helaas ook tegen. In de omgeving geen alternatieven waardoor je genoodzaakt bent om te eten in het resort. Pluspunt is dat we maar voor 1 nacht hoefde te betalen terwijl we voorafgaand voor 2 nachten hadden geboekt (na 1 nacht uitgecheckt).
- Sally (10/5): Peaceful jungle retreat - The views in this place are utterly unbelievable. The staff were wonderfully attentive and their attention to detail made the stay really special. The spa facilities and on site restaurant are lovely too, and even though both are slightly more expensive than other restaurants / spas you might encounter while travelling in Vietnam it's still incredibly affordable by UK standards! Not dislikes, but things to note. The resort is north facing and loses the sun by about 11am, so if you're looking to sunbathe the window is limited. Also the retreat founders put a lot of effort into maintaining the jungle setting, and so you will see insects! Very rarely in the rooms but while walking around the retreat etc. Proximity to nature is very much intended and so bear this in mind if it's not your vibe!

Petit-déjeuner très copieux, les plats servis pour le déjeuner et diner également, et un personnel vraiment au petit soin. Trajet un peu long depuis Hanoï (4h30) mais ça vaut le détour. Peu de commerces à proximité, il s'agit vraiment d'un lieu pour le repos et la nature.

- hanane (9/5): - L’hotel est magnifique, une végétation luxuriante, 2 jolies piscines à debordement avec une vue complètement dégagée sur les rizières en terrasse, j’ai beaucoup aimé la chambre avec son balcon et une salle de bain chaleureuse tout en bois et bambou, et l’absence de télé, idéale pour la déconnexion. L’accueil du personnel était parfait, ils ont organisé notre découverte de la région en une demi journée puis le même chauffeur nous a emmenés à Hanoï pour la suite de notre périple. Enfin le restaurant de l’hôtel sert des plats délicieux et bien aboutis, parmi les meilleurs qui nous ont été servis au Vietnam, et les boissons étaient délicieuses, des jus pressés à la minute. Et le petit déjeuner était top. Autre point positif: de l’hôtel on peut marcher autour des rizières et rencontrer les villageois de l’ethnie thai, qui vendent dans leurs boutiques chez eux des objets et vêtements artisanaux (les mêmes qu’on trouve à Hanoï) ou travaillent dans les rizières. Vraiment rien. J’espère que cette belle ambiance sera préservée. Nous y étions pendant une période festive pour les locaux, plus nombreux que les touristes étrangers aux différents points d’intérêt (riviere cham et ses norias, cascade de Hieu etc. ) ce qui était sympa. En revanche, je soupçonne booking de nous avoir fait payer la nuit 2 à 3 fois son prix, car lorsque j’ai lu des commentaires sur la région de pu luong cet hôtel était souvent cité mais avec des nuitées a 30 euros pour 2...peut etre réserver autrement ou au moins comparer avant...

- Cawston (10/5): A superb place to stay in Pu Luong - We stayed as a family for five nights here in early April and wished we could have been there longer. As a family of four we had rooms adjoining at the balcony with 'mountain view' and an incredible view over the paddy fields which were a vivid green. I think this is one of the best arrangements for families to be together in the whole area. The rooms were very comfortable and we had no issues with mosquitos or other insects whatsoever. When my wife had a small medical issue, Linh could not have been more kind and helpful, providing a herbal remedy and arranging for medication from a local village. We were also very impressed by Ky who spoke excellent English and was exceptionally courteous and professional. The restaurant food is not the cheapest but was well prepared and we highly recommend the pork wrapped in betel leaves. I personally found the breakfast to be excellent: fresh and really varied. The kids enjoyed relaxing in the pool which was clean and refreshing. All round it was perfect for our needs. Be reasonable in your expectations of a lodge in a very rural area and I think you will be delighted.

La salle de bains et les toilettes ont toujours été très propres donc ce n'est vraiment pas dérangeant. Nous étions dans une chambre sans vitre ce qui est sympa mais peut rendre la nuit un peu moins calme si on n'est pas habitués. La piscine est vraiment top avec une vue imprenable sur les rizières. La nourriture est très bonne et le personnel est serviable. Les lits auraient gagné à être un peu plus moelleux

The views of rice terrace from the balcony is amazing especially in the right season. Food didn’t have a lot of variety but what they had was very tasty. Service was good. They helped us with all the transport. Overall a very beautiful hotel in an offbeat location in Vietnam. Do take a walk around the hotel for even better views of the terraces. Definitely recommend.

- Clayton (9/5): Beautiful outlook - Beautifully situated in the hilly rice fields with a great view over the valley. This place is very picturesque and has a tropical vibe. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was great and the pool was lovely and refreshing. The Deluxe room that we had was very nice, quite a bit nicer than the standard room which could be updated a bit. The meal portions were small and too expensive for what they were. We ended up having to order more and more food as the small portions weren't enough and this ended up as our most expensive dinner in Vietnam. The other problem was that our driver had difficulty locating the hotel. Google maps showed a route that was for motorbike access only and our driver didn't know where to go. There could be better signage further up near the main road to show where to go AND the hotel could give guests instructions or a map in advance so that drivers can locate the hotel more easily.

Sehr kompetentes Personal an der Rezeption, hat mir einen Trip bzw einen Fahrer für einen Ausflug organisiert. Insekten und Geckos im Zimmer weil nicht gut abgedichtet. Bauarbeiten angrenzend zum Pool (dafür können die Hotelbesitzer natürlich nichts).

La nourriture est excellente. Vous venez pour la vue, par pour bien dormir... les chambres ne sont pas très grandes, confort sommaire. Il est important de savoir que les chambres sont sans fenêtre. C est très agréable, car en mode "cabane", mais cela peut déranger des personnes, car on entend tous les bruits des animaux la nuit par ex. Le coq chante dès 4h du matin. En ce moment il y a un chantier de construction juste à côté, tronçonneuse et tractopelle dès 6h du mat ! Nous sommes restés 2 nuits et avons mal dormi. Les tarifs ne sont pas donnés, mais encore une fois l'emplacement est juste magique !

- Josephine (3/5): E spent - Lovely view from the bungalow over rice paddies, and the room is a decent size. Not much else to like. This is a basic homestay, but we paid a high price to stay here so were expecting a much higher standard. The room was in bad need of maintenance - we had no hot water the entire stay, the bath didn't work, the paint was peeling and we could hear every step our upstairs neighbours made. The pool looked over a construction site and was unusable from the existence of a power line going straight across it from above. When issues were raised with management, they were very unhelpful. There are far nicer homestays in the village, and this homestay's one redeeming feature is its close proximity to a homestay with a great infinity pool nearby where we spent all our time.

El guía fue muy simpático, nos ayudó mucho en todo momento y además si que hablaba algo de inglés, nos entendíamos perfectamente. Nos gusto mucho la experiencia con el. Había mosquitos pero consideramos que en un entorno tan rural puede entrar dentro de la normalidad.

Il y a 2 piscines dont une à débordement avec une vue magnifique . Le personnel est adorable et le petit déjeuner est excellent et très copieux . Le restaurant est excellent aussi pour le déjeuner / dîner . Tout est parfait , un seul petit bémol : parfois il n’y a pas assez de fauteuil transats à la piscine .
- Elisabeth (7/5): Een teleurstelling op basis van onze ervaring in andere lodges in de omgeving. - Het personeel was heel aardig. De verrassing van een taart op mijn verjaardag was heel attent. Onze kamer was fantastisch. De receptie heeft voor mij geregeld dat ik naar de markt kon met auto en chauffeur en niet de hele dagexcursie inclusief kookworkshop hoefde te boeken. Het voldeed absoluut niet aan wat wij hadden verwacht na onze 2e keer Vietnam, nu 9 weken en de 4e accommodatie in deze regio en op basis van de informatie. Het uitzicht van de kamer op de rijstvelden is niet meer zoals op de foto's. Er is een paar jaar geleden een hotel gebouwd waar je op uitkijkt. Heel jammer. Het is ook veel grootschaliger dan het op de meeste foto's lijkt. De foto's van het restaurant laten dat wel zien. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk maar niet zo professioneel. Het ontbijt en de maaltijden kunnen beter. Het lijkt of er geen management aanwezig is. Het is eigenlijk een onpersoonlijke bestemming voor groepen die er 1 of 2 nachten zijn. Zelfstandig zonder gids kun je er niet veel. Voor degenen voor wie dit relevant is, wil ik benadrukken dat je ook in het retreat zelf echt goed ter been moet zijn en een redelijk normale conditie moet hebben. Het zijn steile paden en veel trappen.

- Jean (9/5): Hôtel et son personnel super le tout dans un cadre magique - Nous avons passé 3 jours très agréables dans cet hôtel. Nous étions logés dans la chambre 102 sans la vue sur les rizières et derriere les cuisines. Même si nous étions un peu déçus dans un 1er temps nous avons finalement appréciés d être éloigné d' un groupe de 18 personnes. Matelas super confortable. Petit déjeuner de rêve !!! Equipe aux petits soins. Bons conseils de la patrone pour des balades dans les rizières. Malheureusement des travaux dans l'hôtel d' à côté juste au dessus de la piscine faisant du bruit une bonne partie de la journée. Restaurant un peu cher. Manque de transats (que 4) autour de la piscine.

- Jim (10/5): The most beautiful view in Pu Luong! - By far the most beautiful view of any place we have stayed at in Vietnam. The view from the room over looking the terraced rice paddies with the mountains in the background was stunning. The room was well furnished with lots of tables a desk and a couch. The balcony has 2 chairs and table where I sat for hours enjoying the view. The bath was beautiful with a large soaker tub and a lovely shower with great pressure and hot water. The bed was huge and comfortable. Breakfast had many options and was very good. The pool was clean and refreshing. You could walk by all the rice paddies directly from this hotel and to many of the villages to see the silk weaving. The staff here is incredibly kind and friendly always greeting you and asking how you are and giving great ideas on things to do. We would definitely stay here again. It wasn't an issue for us but there are stairs up and down here so you need to have some mobility. However the staff carried our luggage to and from our room to our taxi.
- Michelle (8/5): Belle adresse à Pu Luong - Superbe suite lit King size avec très bonne literie. Vue imprenable sur les rizières. 2 belles piscines. Restaurant correct sans plus. 2 autres restaurants juste à côté mais en gros ils sont alignés. Accueil agréable et attentif avec un bon niveau de services. Ils peuvent vous aider pour trouver un scooter à louer, les transports etc. L’offre petit dej est un peu juste au regard de la catégorie de l’hôtel (et du prix). Déconseillé aux PMR car beaucoup de côtes et escaliers pour se déplacer dans le resort. Notre chambre se situait près d’une maison en travaux et d’un lieu de fête le soir : du bruit donc mais jamais après 21h. L’hôtel a accepté de prendre en compte le trouble de jouissance avec élégance. Merci à eux. A priori peu de logements étaient affectés par le bruit.
- Julien (6/5): Moyen - La vue sur les rizière était splendide et il était facile d’organiser des activités à partir de l’hôtel. La chambre sentait très mauvais l’humidité. Les toilettes et la douche ne sont pas fermés et donc en vue direct avec la chambre. L’entretien de La chambre en général est moyen et nous partagions notre douche avec une famille de fourmis . Alors oui l’emplacement est génial et la vie de la piscine est bien mais il ne faut pas tout mélanger. Le rapport qualité prix est ok malgré tout. La nourriture est ok pour le prix mais pas exceptionnelle non plus.
