The view of Kingston was a lovely sight to see as well. I didn't like that food delivery services didn't come that far up jacks hill.
• James (8/5): Serene Stay at Rustic Retreat in the Hills of Jack’s Hill with Amazing Views & Great Hospitality - This lovely bed and breakfast offers a quiet, rustic, and quaint escape tucked away in the peaceful hills of Jack’s Hill. Its location is perfect for anyone looking to explore nearby attractions such as the Kingston Dub Club (just a 5-minute drive away), Skyline Levels, and the historic Reggae Legends Hotel & Restaurant — part of the Marley estate. It’s also an excellent base for trips to Irish Town, Gordon Town, and the Blue Mountains. The property itself was peaceful, serene, clean, and very comfortable, with breathtaking views overlooking Kingston below. Nature lovers will especially appreciate the tranquil atmosphere and cool mountain air. Courtney, the host, was exceptional — warm, welcoming, and attentive. Big up yourself, Courtney! A complimentary continental breakfast was provided and was quite enjoyable. There’s also an on-site restaurant serving lunch and dinner options, including burgers, fries/wedges, and pastas, along with a fully stocked bar. The room included a small flat-screen TV with access to Netflix, YouTube, and other streaming services. While there is no air conditioning, only fans, the cool evening temperatures made it completely comfortable, and we barely needed the fan at night. One thing to note is that the walk from the parking/drop-off area to the reception and room area can be a bit long and somewhat strenuous, especially for persons who are pregnant or may have mobility challenges or disabilities. Your room may or may not a wardrobe.

Courtney hatt sich jeden Tag bemüht ein Frühstück zu zaubern und ein wenig mit den Gästen zu plaudern! Ich würde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! Der Weg zur Unterkunft ist nur mit einem geeigneten Fahrzeug (AWD / 4x4) zu erreichen! Zum Einkaufen muss mann 30 Minuten in die Stadt fahren, falls jemand kochen möchte sollte er seine Nahrungsmittel gleich von Anfang an mitbringen.

• Prof. Dr. Wanja (1/5): Nie wieder… - Schlechteste Unterkunft seit Ewigkeiten. Nichts Gutes hervorzuheben außer dem sehr netten Zimmermädchen. Der Pool war geschlossen. Die Besitzerin schreit Tag und Nacht ihre Angestellten und ihren Sohn an. Der Sohn hat das Zimmermädchen sexuell belästigt. Das Zimmer ist eine Absteige! Das Bett steht vor der Klotür, sodass man über das Bett klettern muss, um ins Bad zu gelangen. Keine Klima. Viel zu Teuer. Alles in allem extrem unfreundlich und schäbig. Nie wieder!

• andrea (6/5): - It's located up on a hill in a very isolated area. It was a bit scary. There was nothing in the bathroom, no shampoo, no shower gel, no soap. The room had only the beds; there was nothing to put anything on. The structure was too basic! I wouldn't stay here again.

The pictures looks good but when you see it in person it doesn't look the same. There is no AC, big red ants which bites, crockroaches at night time. The place and furniture news upgrading.
• Departure51310774091 (2/5): - I was in the cottage at Kingsworth Bed and Breakfast.The place is run down and need alot of maintenence and renovation. The owner is not friendly and caring for his guests. The Stove, refrigerator, bathroom is in bad condition. There is no decent pots to cook in and culteries to use. No air conditioner. There are crockroaches, and big red ants that comes out at night time. It was a terrible experience overall and I will never go back there.

El personal fabuloso, atento y educado!! Y el anfitrion muy bien también. Está en una montaña, así que hay que subir escaleras para acceder a la piscina y habitación (excepto creo, en una de las habitaciones que estaba abajo). Nos hospedamos en una habitación con balcón con vistas a la montaña, ESPECTACULAR! Con un baño con ducha ( el agua no salía caliente ) y ventilador, no había aire acondicionado, pero realmente a nosotros no nos hizo falta, por las noches se está fresquito. Desayuno correcto. Dormir, comer, beber y disfrutar en plena naturaleza a 10 minutos de la ciudad de Kingston. Un lugar 10/10. Recomendable 100% No tengo nada malo que decir del alojamiento.Por consejo al anfitrión le diría de intentar poner neveras en las habitaciones, para poder preservar nuestros propios alimentos y bebidas, pero tengo que decir que no nos hizo falta porque él mismo tenía casi de todo y nos lo ofreció muy amablemente, por un buen precio. Lo único malo que puedo decir (y que no tiene que ver con el B&B ) es la carretera para poder llegar, está fatal ( aunque realmente como casi todas las carreteras de Jamaica )
• janise (7/5): Hidden Gem 💎 - The staff was very accommodating. They went the extra mile to make sure you had a good stay. Aliyah is a very good worker. 👍 The road was a little scary because it's a little narrow. But after that, you reach a cool oasis 😎.
• Erron (1/5): insane, I'm glad we didn't stay there or I probably wouldn't be here to give my views. - We didn't stay there at all after driving over an hour through the narrow, dark and dangerous roads filled with potholes trying to find this little needle in the hay-sack. When we got there the host navigated us through this unholy escapade of dark buildings as if I was entering a trap. There was very little lightings so the safety of my guest and myself was paramount and when we finally traverse to our door, it seemed as if we were the only one on that dilapidated property. We thought it was rather haunted so we had a hard conversation with the host about the place and he was very rude and disrespectful and hanged the phone up on us, so we left the premises and drove another hour down the dark hills to stay at another hotel in New Kingston. Everything online to describe this place is far from the truth.

• Michelle (4/5): - The view was beautiful and the property was clean, however, no soap or bathroom amenities were provided, very limited meal options, there was no tea area or mini fridge or kitchenet or any type of desk and chair or closet or dresser in the room, the pool was out of commission, the walls needed a face lift & basic maintenance to the room and although it was a private room, every single sound from the other person's room could be heard so I imagine they could hear us too.

The room did not meet our expectations at all there was no curtains on our windows along with no table in the room to store our things they only table that was there was inside of the bathroom by the sink which caused all of our belongings to get wet. The foot of the bed was actually broken so we had to fix it ourselves.

The views from the property were wonderful especial at night sitting by the pool/bar, so that was a bonus. bathroom and bedroom were clean, bedding decent quality and pool/bar/eating area worth spending afternoon/evenings just relaxing lots of stairs - if your disable/have poor walking you might find it difficult, but the wonderful view made the stairs worth while

I would NOT use a rental car to commute there. Use a cab or Uber only. It costs about 10-15 dollars (US) each way to the Half Tree area and a little more for other popular sites. It was clean and I felt safe the whole time

This may be suited to someone else but based on the pictures it was not what I expected when I got there. I expected quaint but this was not quaint by my definition. The facilities were not for me. The place was advertised as being 9km I think out of Kingston- that is pushing it. The pictures showing the property must have been taken a long time ago. The actual ‘hotel’ is on the top of the premises- steep- having to climb some steep stairs to get there. The place is in need of paint and maintenance. I thought I was conversing with a female only to find out it was a male. He was quite blasé about my concerns- I was uncomfortable being there alone with a lone male. He became a tad aggressive when I said I was uncomfortable and the place was not what I expected. He insisted that I paid at least a night’s charge even though I did not stay at the property. Two guys turned up after- I did not see one female in sight. The place could possibly suit some need but needs to be marketed honestly.

• Diana (10/5): Very well worth it, I will go back! - The owner Courtney and his son TJ were friendly, had great information for us and were very accommodating! They made a very delicious small breakfast for us, as if we were members of their family. Although the view and place are amazing, it can be a little hard to get to. It takes around 15 minutes to drive up the hill with the roads not as well developed. That is about the one thing I thought could be problematic for some.

And the coffee and breakfast in the morning was just right for me. Was not aware that there was a lot of stairs up to the property. But without my luggage it wouldn't have been a problem.
