- Merle (5/5): Seagulls langebaan - Close to the lagoon and stores for quick stock ups Not really geared to self-catering, just an electric frying pan which was caked on dirty. A staff member scrubbed it for me and brought an airfryer cause there was nothing else to cook with.

It’s a great unit for a family as it is spacious. It also has everything you need in the kitchen. Additionally, the unit has a balcony which compliments it well as it provides a great view of the sea. The jacuzzi was out of order despite it being advertised as being part of the unit.

Was told Peak season and does not serve breakfast, one would think because of Peak season and fully booked make breakfast available. Location is Fine Furniture in room old and torn Matresses old NO white bedding Water leaked in from roof in shower, tik tik sound which was annoying, put cloth down to absorb the water on 2nd Night, a strong gas smell came through the two Rooms (we were in room 3), we could not shower as gas turned off that makes water warm, could not shower in the morning either as oke only came out after 10am to look at gas bottles, we end up boiling water to wash the necessary. No working TV in 2nd bedroom after it was advertised TV in rooms, it only had a DVD connected to tv So LOng story Short, Pic could be deceiving

No soap in bathroom Terrible drain stench throughout our stay, my partner developed a stomach bug due to it No milk, no sugar in tins marked tea, sugar etc. Ants all over the place Fridge in non working condition Pictures on the internet are misleading We became friendly with another people and they were also unhappy about certain things. 1 staff member we met, foreigner with an attitude Kitchen itensils almost non existent, the owner pays very little attention to the holiday makers needs No attention to detail and no breakfaat was served

The units are always clean and tidy. We have stayed here a few times before and will definitely come back again. Thank you Hanlie for assisting us even at short notice and always being kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend Seagulls Guest House!

I honesty I probably didn’t look at the photos close enough. However, if I had known this I would not have rented this room. Pillows were very hard.

Then you talk into your room only to see a huge spider on the wall. 3. There is no wifi connection in the room. 4. Next morning, the owner has a nerve to ask you how did you sleep, knowing very well, you asked for a wifi password and she didn't even bother.

The host was amazing! - Excellent host, very responsive I would have liked breakfast to be included, seemed to have the facilities but nothing offer. The shower was a bit dated, no body wash or handsoap; a bit disappointing for a guesthouse; especially when the night stay is on par with other hotels and boutiques in the area.

- Jill (8/5): Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend it to others and possibly return again. - The views were amazing and the suite was quite spacious. The location was fairly quiet and no disturbances from fellow guests. We were able to connect and watch programs on the large Tv screen. Wifi was free. The amenities were great, including and iron and hairdryer. There were also sachets of coffee, tea and sugar. The shower had good pressure, but unfortunately there was a note up asking for the jacuzzi not to be used. The stairs. Unless I missed it in the description of the room we stayed in, I was not aware that our room was located at the top of the stairs. The living area didn't have any curtains or blinds, so it was hard to keep out the sun and to prevent glare. We also were not informed prior to our stay that breakfast would not be available. We only discovered that upon our arrival.

- Alphonsus (2/5): dissapointing - the location in the village and the parking space was good W e were the only guests in the guesthouse, but we got the room that was a small converted domestic quarters. Small bedroom, small outside patio (see photo) and even smaller bathroom. Mattress was worn out, the new mattress was standing on the small patio but that didn't help us.

- Madula (7/5): Great place for relaxation. No airconditioner and second room not recommendable. - Good breakfast. Rooms setup and the light switch in the passage.
- Maruwaan (10/5): Exceptional - The friendliness of the staff. We had an issue but it was sorted out that very day. Hospitality of the staff was outstanding and made our stay as pleasant as possible. Nothing to mention.
- Sidney-jo (4/5): Disappointing - We liked the pool area and the privacy of the location. The room was quite tiny and the bathroom is only separated by partitioning from the room and kitchen. The breakfast was very little. No flat sheets, we had to go to the store to buy.

- Winston (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful view from Seagulls overlooking the bay. The Staff an Owner super amazing made us feel at home. The guest house has its back up power well prepared for Loadshedding. What a bonus!. Will definitely be going back again with the family.
