• Per (7/5): Wedding anniversary 1 night get away. Well worth it. - Place very quaint and cosy. Breakfast was simple but nice. Room on the small side but bathroom ok and plenty of hot water. Location a big bonus: off the noisy streches but close to everything. Walk to train station a slow 15 min. To cathedral 10 min, to Old Market 10 min. Most important: the faboulos restaurant "La Couronne"is in the vicinity(on the Old Market). Had a magnificent dinner there, walls oozing history as the place opened as an Auberge"in 1345. Excellent service, very nice food, and the "house" 18 yr old calvados was.....gooooood. We stayed i room 33, top floor and no lift ( to be expected in a building 100+ years old-that was not a problem). Problem is noise from neighboring rooms. Not because the walls are thin, but there is an emergency escape door between this room and the one nxt to it, and everything can be heard.

• André (8/5): - L'hôtel est très bien situé et permet la visite du vieux Rouen à pied. Le bâtiment est ancien et a un joli cachet. La chambre est propre et agréable, le lit suffisamment confortable. Il y a peu de bruit (notre chambre ne donnait pas sur la rue). Le petit déjeuner est assez peu varié mais excellent (vrai jus d'orange, yaourt fermier, ...). Bon rapport qualité/prix. La description de l'hôtel ne mentionne pas le fait qu'il est inaccessible en voiture, même pour déposer les bagages (zone piétonne). Un grand parking souterrain public est situé à proximité mais nous avons dû y monter deux étages par l'escalier avec nos valises. Arrivés à l'hôtel, nous apprenons que notre chambre est située au 2e étage ... sans ascenseur. Heureusement, la dame de la réception nous a aimablement aidés en portant une valise. Le wifi n'est pas très performant.
• Jaycee Thexton (8/5): Overall, we enjoyed this quaint boutique hotel! - The location of this property was ideal! It is within walking distance to many of the historical sites in Rouen. Staff was friendly and welcoming. I appreciated the transparency in the 'important details' section of their listing. We knew exactly what we were booking when we booked our stay. Arrival instructions were vague, which made our first few moments at the property unnecessarily stressful. We received a message the day we arrived letting us know that if we arrived after 8:30pm we would need a code to access the property. When we arrived at 6:45pm, we found the gate to the courtyard locked and we had no code to gain access. We were able to reach the front desk by phone within 10 minutes, but providing the code in advance would have made our initial moments more enjoyable, especially after a long day of travel. Also, if you would like the reduced parking rate of 15 EUROS bring your parking chit from the public parking lot with you to the hotel, so they can exchange it for a ticket at the reduce rate. Otherwise you are paying the full rate of 29 EUROS. This is not clearly explained and unfortunately we had to pay the full rate as we left the parking chit in our car.

• Marcus (9/5): A charming family run hotel - A lovely looking hotel in the heart of the old city. There is underground secure parking across the road, the hotel is easy to find and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and delicious served in the delightful tea room that is the heart of this hotel. The room and the bathroom are a bit worn and dated but we felt this was fairly reflected in the room rate.

• Andrew (5/5): Great location but don’t bring a car - Location was great and building quaint The room I had was on the 3rd floor and poor. No shower just a bath under the eves. You can not drive to the hotel. After an hour of trying I had to park 0.9 miles away and walk with luggage.

The staff were very nice The breakfast was small but nice The hotel gives a discount on the overnight parking which brought it down from 22E to 10e The room was small but that was ok but it does not have air conditioning so it was very hot so we left the windows open but that made it very noisy at night especially at a couple not sure if in or out of the hotel argued for hours and was very loud. We came in to Rouen by car and it was not easy to get to the car park

Il parcheggio è vicino, comodo e in un silo. Peccato non sapere subito che l' hotel ha i biglietti del parcheggio, così non si paga. L' abbiamo saputo dopo e oramai avevamo pagato, circa €25 al giorno. Un po' tanto, non era ben specificato nella prenotazione che c'era la possibilità di non pagare, meglio informarsi prima
• Maïa (1/5): Pas de chauffage. Personnel exécrable - Séjour malheureusement décevant malgré une réservation qui semblait correcte sur le papier. Le principal problème a été l’absence de chauffage fonctionnel dans la chambre. La nuit a été très inconfortable, au point de devoir dormir avec des vêtements chauds. Le lendemain, le problème a été reconnu, mais aucune solution ni geste commercial n’a été proposé. Par ailleurs, le petit déjeuner inclus dans la réservation n’était plus disponible lors de notre passage, sans alternative proposée. L’accueil etait exécrable, aucun interet porté a la demande er aucune compensation proposee. Dommage, car avec un meilleur suivi des équipements et des services annoncés, l’expérience aurait pu être bien différente.

À noter cependant que la maison étant ancienne, il n’y a pas d’ascenseur, ce qui a compliqué le transport des valises jusqu’au 3ᵉ étage pour les membres plus âgés de notre groupe.

• Nicole (8/5): Romantisches top gelegenes süsses Hotel. - Die Lage ist genial, Parking neben dem Hotel kann mit Fortfait benutzt werden. Hotel ist allerliebst, sehr schön, fast kitschig, gemütlich. Restaurant fühlt sich an wie Wohnzimmer. Sehr freundliches Personal und ganz sauber. Bequemes Bett, Shampoo und Fön vorhanden. Leider keinen Schlummertrunk mehr ab ca 21h15. Wir hätten gerne noch einen Calvados genossen. Ein richtiges Duvet anstelle von Decken wäre angenehm zum Schlafen.

• Panusch (8/5): Perfekt für Stadtbesuch - Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich. Als der uns Frühstück angeboten hatte, haben wir erstmal abgelehnt, wegen viel Süßes, was in der Regel immer Standardmäßig angeboten wird. Er hat für uns aber Käse und Aufschnitt arrangiert. Das war grandios. Auch für's Parken hat man verbilligten Tarif bekommen. Das Zimmer war sehr funktionell eingerichtet. Innenhof kann man als Ruheoase mitten in der Stadt bezeichnen. Kommen gerne wieder.
• Ines (8/5): It was perfect. - Le Vieux Carré is a beautiful place, perfectly located at the heart of Rouen. It is cozy, charming and it feels like a family house. The facilities are not the most recent, but if you like the charm of the places, it is a great option and I'd book it again. The bathroom could use some renovation, which can be challening in such old buildings.

• Sandrine (7/5): Hôtel avec du charme mais qui manque de modernité dans ses équipements - Bon emplacement, joli cadre mais chambre froide, peu équipée, toute petite sans prise de courant près du lit. Très bon matelas. Nous avons été surpris de devoir utiliser le parking souterrain pour accéder à l’hôtel qui nous a ensuite parlé d’une prise en charge des frais de parking à 50%, mais qui ne nous en a pris finalement qu’un tiers. C’est à prendre en compte dans le coût total de notre chambre qui nous aura finalement coûté 100 euros avec le parking et les taxes de séjours. Le petit déjeuner était bon, avec des produits frais, dommage que toutes les chaises de la salle de repas étaient relevées sur les tables, le charme de la pièce s’en trouve rompu, ce n’est pas convivial, on a eu l’impression de déjeuner dans un endroit fermé au public ou on n’avait pas envie de s’attarder…c’était peut être le but recherché ?

• Mairin (7/5): - La situation géographique idéale, l'espace extérieur et intérieur très cosy, le personnel accueillant, serviable et chaleureux. Leur cuisine est excellente ! Je reviendrai pour déjeuner ou un goûter à mon prochain passage. Le bâtiment est ancien alors c'est habituel dans le vieux Rouen mais j'ai eu froid une bonne partie de la nuit, impossible de me réchauffer. L'isolation thermique par l'intérieur serait à envisager. Ou des couvertures plus chaudes. Le papier peint se décolle dans la chambre que j'ai occupé. Pour 80 euros je m'attendais à un peu mieux et c'est dommage.
