Guest Reviews

- helen (6/5): lovely location friendly staff and nice restaurant but very dated and old fashioned - fabulous location room very dated

- Dorothy (10/5): Good for location and food - Great location next to Seine - watching boats go by while waiting for dinner
- MarielleOlivier (9/5): Une étape très agréable - Nuit étape très agréable. Bel emplacement.
- Yvonne (10/5): Would definitely book again. - The staff were friendly and the restaurant food is absolutely excellent and great value. Room was small but okay because it was a one night stay.

- Raymond (9/5): Comfortable stay by the river and old town with excellent dinner and breakfast. - Great location by the river, wonderful staff, dinner and breakfast were excellent. Room is little dated which is fine, bathroom and shower are separate and can used some updating.
- Massimo (9/5): -
- Eveline1976 (7/5): Prima verblijf in een schattig dorpje - De lokatie is fantastisch. Langs de seine in een schilderachtig dorpje. Heel erg leuk.
Kussens waren prima.
- Colleen (8/5): Beautiful location and an excellent restaurant. - Beautiful location on the banks of the Seine and an excellent restaurant . Rooms need a bit of updating.
- Michele (2/5): - Location The room was tatty with cheep unmatched furniture, patched up carpet, wallpaper lifting. I could go on
When we raised our disappointment with the owner she said we don't have to stay there, (there were no nearby hotels and because they do not allow entry until 4.30 it was too late)
She offered a discount - 3%.
- Helen (10/5): Another wonderful stay on this lovely hotel - Our second visit to this fabulous hotel with wonderful views of the Seine. Exquisite food in the restaurant. We will be back in our next trip to France
- Bruno (8/5): - Ganz ok für eine Nacht
- Anne (8/5): - The location couldn’t be better
The food was delicious
And the dinning room beautifully decorated Parking is difficult You have to park behind the football ground,
The rooms are very tired but clean
- Steve (8/5): Tranquil and beautiful - It’s a lovely small hotel by the bank of The Seine. Nothing
- Paula (5/5): Disappointed 😞 - Lovely position on the river The room was so dated - the room we had is in none of the pictures - they wouldn’t put these on ( I should have taken some)
The bathroom was in need of complete update - couldn’t even close the door, loose tiles , stained toilet
An old building so going to have restrictions on any updates but this room was very shabby and a good clean would have made it feel better ( bedding was clean and bed comfortable)
We couldn’t get a table for dinner
Breakfast there were no tables set and had to wait quite a while for any plates and cutlery etc
No bread left to toast - eggs took an age to cook as water had been turned right down / off and we came down more than an hour before breakfast finished - and we had booked ( so thought would have expected us)
Disappointing choice and not worth the money
Some of the rooms in the pics do look ok and perfectly acceptable and the bathrooms ok
This particular room should not be rented until sorted

- Judit (8/5): - Kiváló elhelyezkedés, a Szajna partján.
- Kevin (6/5): - Dirty tissues under the bed, bedroom & outside of hotel not as depicted on photos,
- Cathy Estes (10/5): Stay here for sure! - This charming hotel on the river was a perfect stopping point on our trip to the coast. The view of the river from our room was magnificent but we mostly enjoyed how comfortable the bed was. The quality of the bedding and pillows made for a very luxurious night. We were able to login to our Netflix account and catch a movie after dinner. We definitely recommend Logis- Le Bellevue and the sweet town of La Boille.

- Dorothy (10/5): Location and food are wonderful - Location by Seine. Fascinating spot to watch river traffic to and from Rouen. Superb food too. Great stafff
- Siegfried (7/5): Akzeptable - Gutes Frühstück. Zentrale Lage.
- Susan (10/5): A great location & hotel/restaurant - The restaurant food was exceptional A coffee machine
- Shaun (8/5): - Fantastic view of the Seine, Very quiet village with few restaurants. Book the restaurant if you want to eat there. Breakfast limited
- KEVIN DOBSON (10/5): - Service, hotel, bed , position, breakfast. All Superb Room need redecorating
- Tim (10/5): Wonderful stay at this lovely hotel on the edge of the Seine. - Wonderful stay. Room with fantastic river view. restaurant and breakfast very good value and delicious. Parking was a bit of a challenge but we managed it.
- yves (9/5): Vue magnifique !

- Pat (6/5): Lovely Location1 - The hotel is located on the banks of the Seine and the town is very picturesque. The building is attractive Norman style, in keeping with the town. The inside was pretty dated, with old carpets and tiny rooms. However the bathroom was fairly new and very clean, but very small. To be fair, it looks like they are updating some public areas, and the main dining room and reception was tastefully decorated.
- isabelle (9/5): Très bon séjour. Bon accueil et bon petit dej - Super petit déj. Tout est fait maison
- Nadine (8/5): -
- Colleen (8/5): Very good - Lovely location, excellent restaurant and helpful staff. We look forward to our stop overs at Le Bellevue Breakfast : having to ask for more bread, cheese, coffee, milk etc.when they have run out. These should be automatically be topped up without asking.
- Lisa (10/5): Great restaurant - This was our second stay here and it won't be the last! We stayed here after getting off the ferry from Portsmouth at Le Havre. It's only an hours drive but if you go further you risk not getting any dinner! The hotel is a little basic but that's absolutely fine for the price. The thing about this hotel is the restaurant, the food is fantastic and very reasonably priced. Book in advance with your reservation though as it's small and popular! Also, the historic village is really interesting and the location right on the Seine is superb. We'll be back! Nothing
- Jan (9/5): Lovely (second) stay. Great view delicious breakfast great value - Perfectly situated on the Loire La Bouille is charming.
- Darren (9/5): Grr - Lovely location Ok
- Peters (10/5): Exceptional - Great, friendly staff.
- Neil (7/5): Lovely location, friendly staff, let down by poor decor - The location is great. Our room was at the front of the hotel overlooking the river Seine. Watching the ships go by and the local little ferry going back and too was lovely. The restaurant was good too, nice menu choice and good friendly service . The room has seen better days. It really needs decorating and upgrading. It could be so much better in such a lovely location. Perhaps we should have known better with the 2 Star Rating. Probably good value for money, if you don't mind the emphasis on shabby rather than chic.
- Paul (8/5): Super spot near Rouen.excellent restaurant Would come again - Great location by the Seine. Book a river view room! Parking on street is limited. Carpets and upper floors are a bit tired. But perfectly comfortable.
- Alex (8/5): Very good -
- Trudy (6/5): Pleasant -
- Pegsy44 (8/5): Very good - The location is perfect, situated in a delightful French village on the banks of the River Seine and yet within easy reach of the Autoroute just south west of Rouen. It's ideal for an overnight stop. The restaurant is excellent. It was a lovely evening and we sat outside by the river. There's no hotel parking but we had no problems parking on the road outside the hotel. Our room on the 3rd floor was very cramped and tired and badly in need of a refurb. It was a hot night and there's no aircon but a fan was provided. The bathroom and WC were very small and in need of refurbishment. There is a lift to the 3rd floor,, but it's very small and although it works okay it's like the rooms, a bit rickety and in need of a makeover.
- Ian (7/5): Good - The location was very good and the river view fantastic. The lift working was a lottery!
- Dorothy (10/5): The staff are great hosts. We left a coat with a mobile phone in our hotel room and they phoned us so we could go back a - Lovely location by the river Nothing
- Dorothy (9/5): Don’t miss having an evening meal here - It’s divine food - The food in the restaurant is simply scrumptious. That is why this is our favourite place to stop in our drive south.
- Clare (9/5): Outstanding evening meal in a friendly hotel. - Small room if used as a double, but lovely view of the village, and superb cuisine ( not cheap, but really delicious) in the dining room. Locked garage for bicycles. A lovely place to stay.
- Sarah (8/5): Very good - Excellent breakfast, unbeatable location
- Helen (9/5): Would love to return - Amazing location overlooking the river. Fabulous restaurant
- Chris (8/5): Nice hotel and handy distance from the tunnel - Just off the motorway Parking is a bit of a problem as you have to find somewhere on the street
- Colleen (9/5): Great location with stunning views and a great restaurant. - We have stayed here many times. Beautiful location beside the Seine. We always book rooms over looking the river. We never get bored with watching the sun setting and rising at dawn over the river...or the boats slowly gliding by. The hotel also has a restaurant serving delicious food. What more could you want after a long day's drive?
- Putrisha (8/5): Excellent overnight stay - We’ve stayed here many times en route to holiday destinations further south. The hotel is lovely and the food is fantastic both for supper and breakfast
- Janet (6/5): Pleasant -
- Barry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (10/5): - Wonderful restaurant
- Niamh (7/5): Very charming hotel on the Seine let down by poor breakfast and rude waitress. - Very charming hotel in a lovely location. Very pleasant and accommodating owners. Parking very easy and no problem getting secure parking for e-bike. Room lovely with comfortable bed. Fascinating location on the Seine with constant interesting traffic up and down. The hotel was very much let down by the breakfast and the lady serving it. Arrived at 9.05 ( finishing at 9.30) - no bread , ham or cheese left. Waitress ignored our request to replenish. Only one croissant left and told it would take 20 minutes to bake more. We said ok. 20 minutes later none appeared and were told breakfast is over. And not cheap at all at €13.50 per head. Only writing this here as hotel didn't reply to a private message.
- Mark (10/5): Delightful place and wonderful hotel - The Bellevue is a fantastic place in a beautiful location. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the restaurant is legendary in the area.
Would definately stay again and totally recommend.
- Victoria (5/5): Very convenient for a stop over. - Staff were lovely and helpful, breakfast was really good with a lovely selection, the location by the side of the river was beautiful. A car ferry takes you to the other side. The rooms/interior is in need of an upgrade.
- Deborah (9/5): Superb -
- Heather (9/5): Lovely position of the hotel, with fascinating village to explore. Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay - Just opposite the Seine. Wonderful view from the restaurant. We opted for a room at the back with a view of the village. which was beautiful. Best of both worlds. Delicious food in the restaurant and very friendly staff.
- Marianne (6/5): Fine for a one night stopover - Location ok, Room decor tired and bit outdated as was communal areas
- Wim (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (3/5): Disappointed. - It’s location Small room, poor facilities, uncomfortable bed and pillows, dirty wardrobe interior with cobwebs, lift broke down in the morning resulting in having to climb three flights of stairs. Unapologetic staff member. Not somewhere we would stay again or recommend.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Laura (7/5): Good - Lovely staff, fine for a stopover. Rooms a little shabby but lovely building and warm welcome
- Hazel (7/5): Good -
- Anne-claire (8/5): Very good -
- Aidan (9/5): A very pleasant, non-standardised hotel in a great location - A very pleasant, non-standardised hotel in a lovely location. It was all fine - unless one wants a standard, hotel-chain hotel
- Norman (9/5): Superb -
- Tjeerd (9/5): Superb -
- Colleen (8/5): Very good - We always try to stay at Le Bellevue. Wonderful location on the banks of the Seine. Excellent restaurant serving delicious food. They usually put out a good breakfast spread but when we came down at 8.30/8.45 am there was hardly any bread, cheese, and pastries left. When I asked I was told there was none left...so not sure I'll have breakfast there again. But the evening meal was excellent and it's a very good restaurant.
- Dawn (8/5): Great location and restaurant very good - Excellent location on the River Seine, staff very friendly and restaurant was very good. No tea/ coffee in rooms and bedrooms looked a little tired.
- Stephen (9/5): Superb -
- Chris (10/5): Excellent hotel, looking forward to next year. - We had a room overlooking the river. It was superb to see the cargo ships moving up and down it. The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. The dinner menu was far better than last year and was excellent value for money with a wide choices of good quality dishes available. It is an old quirky hotel, to make any improvements, such as air conditioning, would damage its charm.
