• X2496LOmariannep (6/5): Nice room without a view - We had a one bedroom unit which was nice, but we were very disappointed with the view which was the housekeeping trailer and parking lot. Trees blocked any possible glimpse of the lake. The website pictures were very misleading and I wouldn't have booked the unit if I'd have known. It's very far and inconvenient to any of the amenities on the village side. Will not stay again.
• Shawn (8/5): - You need to get better bartenders and restaurant staff. You should be greeted when you come in like it use to be. The bar was dirty, and no one was in there. Bar isn’t very inviting. I know how this place use to be. Been going there for 15 years every year. It needs bar and restaurant manager change!!!!!!!!!!
• KARRIE (10/5): - Access to the pool and water slide at the sister resort was great and a very short drive! The view of the grass instead of being able to see lake was not ideal, but the inside of the condo was exactly as pictured and beautiful.

• florences375 (2/5): Horrible condos - We checked into 1404 yesterday (4th floor) and things were fine except there was a huge red line across the wall where a previous guest decided to rearrange the furniture. While in the restroom, I noticed reddish brown drops on the wall tile and vanity. After taking a shower, there was a huge pool of water because the seal on the door was damaged and not attached to the glass door so the door didn't shut. The fan in the bathroom was also not connected to the ceiling and was extremely dirty. The security door latch also was pulled from the wall and was barely hanging onto the wall. When we tried to dial 0 to call the front desk, the automated mesaage on the phone said that operator services would not be available after Dec 2017! Really?? It's Aug 2025! How is one supposed to now get ahold of the front desk from the room? We had to get in the car and drive to the front desk. Sharon was super apologetic after we showed her the photos. She had to call her supervisor to get authorization and wanted to get us in a cottage but you could hear the supervisor clear as day over the phone say "No!" We were told that they couldn't move us to a cottage because we're owners and used points and they couldn't do a double upgrade (going from studio to a 2 bedroom). When Sharon talked to her supervisor, Sharon told her that only 1101 was available as 2 other condos were out of commission as well. So we were told we would be given 1101 which is 1 level BELOW the parking lot. Ok, it is what it is. In 1101, the bathroom had all the cabinet doors open that it looked like someone ransacked the bathroom. No toiletries were on the vanity. There was also no coffee nor laundry detergent in the condo. Basic housekeeping items that is supposed to be in the condo. Upon further inspection of 1101, there were dead bugs that we assume were coming in through the unsealed front door since you could see daylight coming through and the security latch was completely missing from the door. We had to go back to the front desk and politely asked Sharon that she needed to call her manager to find another solution as 1101 was even worse. Upon calling the front desk manager (Sharon's supervisor's supervisor) who authorized the move to a cottage, we were able to move. When we returned back to 1404 to get our items, the pool of water from the shower was gone meaning that it soaked into the floor and will lead to a mold issue if it's not already there. Out of the 12 condos, 4 had issues (incl the 2 I listed) and it's quite clear that it's in shambles. What is my HOA paying for because it certainly isn't for the upkeep of the building. It also feels that the building is the red-headed stepchild of the resort and it's still pricey. 75k points for a week in Aug for a studio is ridiculous especially when we were sold into the program that we could get a cottage in the village for 75k points.
• Earl (8/5): Don't rely on photos - Overall it was a great visit. Although we later learned after booking based on the supplied photos that we did not have the view promised.
• kynnedym2025 (10/5): We loved our stay! - Honestly, it sticks to read all of these negative reviews. I’m writing this as I comfortably lay in my lakeside bed here at Stormy Pointe Lakeside. When booking we didn’t realize that there was the Village accommodations and the Lakeside accommodations. We wanted the cottage but ended up getting the lakeside 1-bedroom. I honestly was a Lyle disappointed until I saw the unit… Check in was nice and easy. It was a packed lobby but we got checked in by two different ladies, somehow we’re blessed to skip the sales talk and we’re about to go straight to our unit. We came around 3:45pm. Our full kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials. A washer and dryer with detergent too. The bathrooms were cleaned and we had more towels than we needed. I also brought my own groceries so it felt like home away from home. Besides the TV’s not being smart (which I didn’t mind), my husband and I loved our unit. We cook most meals in-unit and would go out for a few meals in Branson and Eureka Springs. We really don’t need the lakeside because we’re not lake swimmers or boat owners and we didn’t go to the Village to check out the other amenities, but judging by the reviews, maybe that’s a good thing. I’m sure we would’ve tried to see things from a positive perspective regardless.

The interior was nice but the outside of the buiding and the grounds it was on was no where as nice as the rest of the resort. I would stay here again but would not stay in this building considering the high price.
• 627beckyh (2/5): Do not stay here - Pictures look great but not well maintained. Kids pool area with slide closed, second pool closed, hot tub closed. Room late out was very nice but not well kept. Wifi never worked. Looked like plenty of help hired but took forever to be waited on bar/ice cream area. I would not stay here again.
• Madison (4/5): - I liked where the property was located. It was close by alot we wanted to do. It was nice to be right at the lake and use the dock and pools. Our coffee machine was broken, they immediately replaced it, gave us extra toilet paper, and another blanket very promptly. We had cockroaches in our room on arrival that led me to give poor cleanliness score. There was also an inch gap in the top of the door to the room that the sun shined through. The check in process was easy once we found the building but there were no markers to show where to check in, it took nearly 45 minutes of driving around to find the main building. We had to call customer support to eventually find it. I did not like right after checking in they tried to sell us timeshares immediately, that was a big turn off. Also paperwork I signed provided by property said check out was 11 am, but the paper they gave me said 10am. Poor communication by staff on that end. We stayed lakeside and were told we had access to everything for property amenities. Then called for the free trolley since we were about a mile walk away from the pools, and told we couldnt use that at lakeside only after we requested it. Overall, I think I would stay in a cottage if I were to stay at this property again. But the lakeside apartment/hotel did not seem to get the same treatment the rest of the guests did.
• Julie (2/5): - I wouldn’t recommend this place. Booked this resort because of the amenities, such as kid pool area. Got my kid ready and we called the golf cart trolley, just to find out they couldn’t get us because they couldn’t drive that road..? Okay, so we will drive up there. Drove all the way there just to find out the kid pool area and slide was completely drained. Called the front office, said it would be back up today, called later in the evening, was told it wasn’t ready yet, said he would call my number when it was back up. Never heard anything back. Room was decent, not what was pictured. There wasn’t even a roll of toilet paper for us to start out with so we had to drive clear across town to get some. There were no beach/pool towels like listed. Asked to cancel/ get partial refund on room but were told they couldn’t do that. We spent several hundred dollars and were very disappointed with our stay. I will NEVER stay here again.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Nice family weekend getaway - Property was clean and in a good location. Fun activities for kids and the pools are nice. Ideal for traveling families. I will share, this property is managed by a timeshare company, so be prepared to get a sales pitch.

• Amanda (4/5): - The place was clean the front desk at check in didnt have our room right so had to get that fixed the beds where horribly uncomfortable, the inside pool had way to much chimnals in it burned your eyes made your skin itch real bad .They where knocking on our door at 9am asked what time we check out which im sure all check outs are at 10am .
• James (2/5): Terrible customer service - I paid for a premium room with king bed and soaking tub. And what I received was a tiny room no tub, No kitchen, and a tiny queen bed. I wasn’t even made aware of it when checking in I got to my room and found out then called and was not even offered a different option I was just told to call hotels.com to get a partial refund. On top of everything they try to rope you into buying a time share when checking into your stay. Absolutely will never stay here or at any of there other properties ever again.
• Brent (8/5): - The condo was nice. My only complaint about the condo was the lack of water coming out of the shower. Check in was smooth,, but just be prepared, they will try to get you to do a timeshare preview, you do have to tell them no a few times before they give you your parking pass.

• Terry (8/5): - First and foremost, it's a timeshare. I booked what I thought was a hotel room, and apparently if you want a parking pass, you'll have a very friendly person try to schedule you for a time share presentation, and if you refuse, they will try to sell you a 1 week stay for about $300 if I recall correctly, as long as you attend the time share presentation at that time. It was late, I just wanted to have a normal check in process, drop my stuff off in the room, and go meet my friends for a late dinner, drinks, and laughs. So after that little surprise, we were given a map and directions to the little hotel we were staying in. Nice little place, but the turn into the parking lot really needs a sign pointing you in the right direction. We missed it the first few times because it looks like a road to someone's private property. The little hotel was very nice, and it was laid out very well. We really enjoyed it quite a bit, especially for the price we paid. It was nicely decorated, clean, had a very comfortable bed, and everything we needed. There was some damage to stuff in the room such as the curtains for the sliding glass door (which incidentally were not wide enough to cover the entire door and we were on the ground floor so anyone could have seen right into the bedroom) as well as the extra door security thing that you swing over a small knob that sticks out from the door near the top. They did not charge us for the existing damages so far. Excellent for the price.
• Carson (6/5): Not great for a short stay - The overall stay was fine. There wasn't a drain plug in the bathtub, so we had to wait for maintenance to come fix it. Also didn't have any linens for the sofa bed, which we had to wait for. They do want to give you a 90 minute tour sales pitch since it is a timeshare type of stay. I use Hotels.com to avoid timeshares, so I was a little disappointed this was an option with Hotels.com. I just wanted a place for my family to spend the night, so it ended up being more of a hassle than it should have been. I was able to get out of the tour since we were leaving the next morning.

The room was nice and it was clean. We thought it would be a nice lake view but Stormy Point has a cleaning trailer that is in front of the building and part of the view. For the price it was a good clean place to stay. Cute decor.

• Carleigh (2/5): - I was thrilled to arrive at Stormy Point Village in Branson, Missouri, for a family trip with my sister and our kids during spring break. Despite our well-planned itinerary, our check-in experience was disappointing. Despite arriving at 4:00 pm as scheduled, our rental unit wasn't ready. After waiting until 5:30 pm and making several inquiries, we were finally given access to a single room instead of the two-bedroom unit we had reserved. When I asked about compensation for the inconvenience, the regional manager, Gaby, was dismissive and unhelpful. Furthermore, the attitude displayed by the regional, was rude and unprofessional. Overall, the poor customer service experience has left us resolved never to rent from Stormy Point Village again.

Then they tried to sell me time shares… not interested- ended up on the lowest floor, kind of musty but again- I just wanted a room for the night. Otherwise fine- no real reason to come back here per se.

• bkpuckettmba (2/5): 14 reasons why we had a terrible time at Stormy Point Village Lakeside - 14 Reasons why we had a terrible time: 1) no heat or A/C for 2 days, until maintenance discovered it! 2) the vegetable drawer in frig was broken and we needed to use it; requested 3x for it to be fixed. 3) the floors were filthy - GROSS! 4) Crumbs on DR chairs - GROSS! 5) CRUMBS on the toaster - GROSS! 6) the housekeeping subcontractors totally monopolized the sole elevator in a building with 16-20 units, ALL DAY the day we tried to check in and needed the elevator. 7) cart to transfer items from vehicle to unit was LOCKED in a closet. 8) Timer on oven, which we needed, wouldn't work. 9) Cheap microwave controls extremely difficult to use. 10) Your key cards are so sensitive ours had to be redone 3x - we've never had that happen at any timeshare or hotel in 35 years. 11) NO TOILET PAPER when we checked in. 12) No instructions to operate dryer in combo washer/dryer. 13) NO DRYER VENT! 14) When we needed help from maintenance during off hours, there was NO ANSWER AND NO VOICE MAILBOX SET UP. This will all be reported on Trip Advisor and Facebook. I tried to give Capital Vacations a chance to keep me from posting this but no one would call me back.
• Timothy (10/5): - This 1 BR condo was fully equipped, spacious, comfortable and in very good condition. The decor was done well in a nautical theme. Nice kitchen, large bath with basin tub and separate shower. That being said, the floor was so dirty that it blackened the bottoms of my feet just walking barefoot on it. And the shower spray was so feeble that I wondered if I was going to be able to finish my shower without rinsing in the tub. Both were reported to the front desk with little interest for resolution demonstrated. A very nice and somewhat pricey unit with 2 major deficiencies making my next stay a solid no.
• Verified traveler (6/5): To pricey for the hassle - The office gave us the wrong room the first night. They had us checking out a day earlier than we were booked. They gave us keys again that didn’t work once that was fixed. We did not realize this was a TIMESHARE and got bombarded by the concierge on trying to talk us into the tour which we denied many times. Very annoying. It was far from a “Lakeside” view… you can kinda see the water through the trees… the view is the parking lot and the maintenance trailer. We won’t use them again. Too much of a hassle for the price.
• DeniseM412 (4/5): Salesperson doesn’t agree with the sales presentation. - I was sitting in the lobby where check in is. Two employees were talking. One said he was quitting because he didn’t believe in what he was selling. DO NOT BUy anything from the timeshare talk. Other than that feel free to stay here. The pools are dirty though. It could be a great place. Restaurant is good.

• Shawn (6/5): - I’ve been staying there for up to 3 times a year for the last 13 years. The salty dog bar and restaurant staff is a laughing stock. Service is slow, not enough people working, staff don’t no what they are doing. Out of food and drink all the time!!!!! The new owner’s are ruining stormy point!!!!! Every 3-6 months there’s new employees witch is a reflection on management!!!!!!!!! I no many other couples that feel the same way.

• Kathy (6/5): - We had Lakeside 1103 connecting 1104 units. Key would not open 1103. After over a hour wait for maintenence, we advised the gentleman to just open the connecting door and we left for a promised evening at SDC. We returned 4 hours later only to find our unit left completely open for anyone to go into. Very upsetting! On our second night, security POUNDED on our doors stating there was a disturbance call. Our entire group was sound asleep. This was at approximately 10:30. Dont pound on doors, CALL first. 2 women and 2 kids, we are not going to open door without kniwing who is outside. We did call the customer service desk to find out who was beating on the door. Several outlets did not work, no stopper for soaking tub. Property and amenities were awesome, just had some issues.

• Babs917_60 (4/5): Such a hard sell - My hubs and I have been owners for about 15 years. We have loved this place but it seems that since they sold to Capital, the hard sell to upgrade is unrelenting. I came up here for my annual girls trip, and the sales person was trying to get me to attend one of their meetings. I told him since my husband wasn't here, I wasn't interested in hearing the sales pitch and I just wanted to hang out with my girls for a well deserved week. Without exaggerating, he asked me at least 15 times why I didn't want to attend. He would not let me just get my mirror tag and go to my cottage. I was so upset, I just walked away from him and went to my car. What a great way to start my vaca. I felt my BP going up. He said he had never had anyone tell me they didn't want to attend. I am an owner. I don't want to upgrade. I am happy paying my annual fees. WTH. I think we'll go somewhere else next year. The hard sell just isn't worth the BP spike. It took me 2 hrs to calm down from that jerk. If you come as a visitor, you will love this place. If you come as an owner, beware of the extremely pushy, overbearing, salespeople. Such a disappointment !!

• JEREMY (4/5): Won’t go back… - This is owned by a “vacation club” so prepare yourself for a pitch to go where they offer you things to try to sell you “ownership” in their vacation club…. It’s 2 hours and you can get free stuff… lol. But it was annoying because were just trying to get our parking pass. Additionally, we had a family cancer emergency and tried desperately to change the date of our trip to no avail. Hotels.com SAID they reached out to company and the company wouldn’t respond, which speaks volumes for the “vacation club” and their customer service … if that’s true. Either way, we even provided a doctors note, which they asked for, to no help. We spoke with several different people via phone/email/chat and everyone “escalated” the request but never to any avail. We just kept telling the same story and asking for a reschedule to any date … we were open to any dates honestly. The club never had our info as a reservation and one hotels.com customer service person even told us it has been cancelled - we ended up going, and weren’t even sure we’d have a room. We did but that’s strange they didn’t have any record of it, even the day we called to find out where to check in…. The instructions for where to check in were lacking in the email we got from hotels.com - no info and this place is big! Kids loved the pool, but IMHO not worth the price of this place (we paid a premium price compared to other 3-4 star hotels in the area)… Our pull out sofa still had the prior guests sheets on it :(
• jennifercE4713ZL (6/5): Nice place for Kids 12 and under - We took a family trip to Branson and really wanted a resort with a pool. The cottages were super cute and clean. The lodging had everything we needed like towels, dishes, soaps, and even a tiny salt and pepper shaker. Staff was friendly and the bar tender was awesome. However, food at the restaurant was average and the pool was a disappointment. It had a great play area for little kids and looked promising but…The water was cloudy while we were there and there was no drink or food service at the pool. You could go to bar to pick up and order food but again the food was not impressive. I was hoping this resort would be four stars but sadly only 3 stars. Next time we will choose a resort with better pool and restaurant ratings.

The room was very nice…but the mattress was uncomfortable and the pillows were super thin. I’d recommend people bring their own pillows. Would stay here again. • LindseyAdrio (10/5): Stormy Point Village Review - We loved this resort, we booked the room through Airbnb and it was great. Perfect location to all Branson attractions, perfect view of the lake, and the room and resort were amazing. We loved it and will definitely be coming back.
• NRGProf (4/5): Tiny room with no lake views - They call this building "lakeside" but, you can't see the lake from this building. There is a cove on the lake down the road. This was a "premium" Studio Condo. I would hate to see what a "standard" Studio Condo looks like. Very tiny room, smaller than most hotel rooms. Tiny refrigerator with tiny freezer area that can't hold anything except mini-ice cubes. If you want to stay on Table Rock Lake, you should have views. This isn't the place.
• Kerry (6/5): Would not choose again... - In Branson for a baseball tournament. Check in took way too long as they try to suck you in to a time share preview. They will charge your credit card to "hold" your place. Your card is charged whether you show up or not. DO NOT sign up for this preview. The property we stayed in was the Lakeside property, which is definitely an after thought for the whole resort. It's outside the security gate by the lake and boat dock. The resort does not have boats to rent but you can go swim near the dock. The rooms were pretty good, a little dirty (floors and showers) but the beds were so uncomfortable, we ached everyday and were there for 5 days! The restaurant/bar by the pool had only 2 people working and one had zero customer service skills. If at Lakeside, you have to drive to get anywhere in the resort because you are outside the security gate and down the hill. I would not choose this resort again.

• misterfilani (2/5): Horrible Father's Day Weekend - Families fighting at the pool. Damage in rooms. No amenities in walking distance. Rude customer service. Double the presentation time. Had to drive my own vehicle to view property I was already residing at.
• Treavor (4/5): TIMEshare and PAPER walls - First off, this building is not in the gated community. It is off to the side and down the hill. So you can not walk to any of the activities. You have to get in your car and drive through the security gate. And when you check into this they send you over to a guy for your parking permit and he's the Timeshare pusher. He will harass you the whole time you stay. Then you get to your room and realize that you are not in the gated community. You are in a boat storage parking lot. We could hear EVERYTHING through our walls. We had to listen to convos and people walking around from the other rooms.This is one tiny building that is off by itself. When you pull up to the check in you see all of these beautiful cottages and you think to yourself how nice this place is until you have to actually leave the area and go down a hill to this tiny stand alone building outside of everything. I think they use this small building as a lure to get people in so that they can push their timeshare onto you. I would rather stay at a crappy hotel than to stay here again. I've stayed at a lot of places, even in disney world. But this place is by far the worst.

• i-20-walker (6/5): Spring Break 2021 - Very nice facilities and the staff was very friendly, but beware because they will try and sell you on time shares while you are there. We loved our room, it had all the things we needed and was very clean too. There was a small pool, but with so many people on vacation for spring break it was packed the whole time. Probably would have been nice to have a couple of pools since it is a big establishment.
• Elizabeth G. (6/5): New England in the Ozarks - This is a time share! It was not advertised as such. The property managers were clearly disappointed that we did not listen to their sales pitch. Very cheesy!

Overall, the room is good, the bathroom is excellent, the bedroom is very nice and finally the lake view is not bad.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Beautiful views of the lake. Room was nice, full kitchen, good TV and fireplace, walls a little thin. Only issue was shower was small, but very nice soaker tub. The service at the restaurant was slow and the bar was not fully stocked.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Nice place - The resort was wonderful, the staff didn't seem too happy to be there but other than that everything was good. After you check in you must go to the concierge to get your parking pass, they will practically beg you to take the timeshare presentation. I recommend that you don't take the bait.

Tastefully appointed and decorated, the bathroom is large with 2 washstands and sinks, a shower booth and a cast iron traditional tub. 2 LED TVs and internet provided. Offset from Branson and a little difficult to find, particularly after dark. Don't leave garbage out too early, wild animals will forage and feast.

The condo is beautiful and the bathtub... wow. We truly loved the condo. The checkin process was easy, I will say you do not get any checkin instructions but you go to the front desk for that. Truly impressed with our experience.

We used the fold out couch in the living room and I didn't see a crumb or speck of dust inside the couch! The kitchen appliances are nice and high quality. We had a difficult time finding the resort and found the location to be a bit cumbersome when driving to and from Branson. A couple more amenities would have made the drive more worth it.

• Heather (8/5): deceiving - While the place was alright and they called it a condo. It was nothing more than another hotel room with a built in sink for a kitchen. I was under the impression I was renting a small "cabin" or house looking off the pictures and website. When in reality you get there it was nothing more than a hotel room in its own building. Slightly disappointed. The houses that I thought we were renting is in the village part. They are very nice from the outside view and look great from the view of the "condo" I believe Hotels.com miss represents what you are actually renting. Renter BEWARE Lakeside means "condo" Village means house. Thankfully we didnt have our kids! Only one bed and very uncomfortable at that.
• Lee (2/5): - This place misrepresented themselves online in regards to the accommodation I booked. Online ads showed a beautiful property with a bar and a nice pool when I got there I realized I wasn't going to be staying on the property but instead several hundred yards away in a hotel with no pool and no bar. I complained and they said well you can swim and drink here and then drive to the other property which I thought was a joke. If course I ask for a refund they said they were fully booked and was going to charge me at least the one night whether I stay or not I complained about them misrepresenting themselves and keeping my money. Noting that even though they say they were fully booked they were able to somehow offer me a $200 a night upgrade. Which of course was a lie, how can you be fully booked but then offer an upgrade. Anyways this place is dishonest, they ripped me off and then got mad at me for complaining. Based on some of the other reviews I understand that they are also a timeshare high pressure sales gimmick as well As for me I have to dispute through my financial institution and if need be I will take it to small claims court. bringing the ads in the original booking and comparing to what they were actually going to try to put me in. I absolutely refuse to let these people rip me off Do yourself a favor...just don't do it.

The cottage was great for our family, the full kitchen allowed us to cook our own meals if we wanted to. This location was close to boat rentals. Highly recommend and we will book again!

• Clayton J. (10/5): Wonderful Family Resort - The property is very well maintained, and very clean. We didn't have too much interaction with the staff, but the little we did everyone was very friendly. The mini water park area was nice for smaller kids, and then having the larger slide was great for older kids. It is a little strange that the close the larger pool at 7pm, and then the smaller pool area closes at 10pm. The smaller pool was pretty crowded each night. The only complaint I would have is at check-in they try and get you sit in on a sales meeting. I realize this is a vacation type resort, but if I'm using VRBO that typically means I'm just there to stay. They were friendly about it, and not too pushy.

• Billy (4/5): not thrilled - Elevator was out. From what I understand it’d been that way a couple of weeks. Bottom of feet were dirty after you showered from walking across the floor
• Dale (2/5): stained sheets and dirty floors - #1 elevator didn’t work. And of course no one knew when or if it would be repaired. #2 sheets were old and stained! #3 condos were located in like an afterthought parking lot that had the “locals” boats. #4 ZERO view of the lake! #5 you didn’t notice the floors hadn’t been mopped until after your shower and you walked around barefoot ready to get in bed and noticed the bottom of your feet were filthy!! Not a fan at all! Will NOT ever go back
• Coty A. (10/5): Very clean, nicely decorated - We absolutely loved our stay. The only thing that could've made the stay better would've been access to the dock. This was nothing done wrong by the property, the water level was just far too high. So if you need a dock we used Indian point marina. 15 minute drive but still very convenient. Will definitely return for our next weekend trip.
• Blake (6/5): - The property is beautiful and in such a great location! The ONLY negative is that the employees really push you to sit through a timeshare seminar. We were only there for 2 nights, are not interested in purchasing a timeshare, and did not want to sit through the session. It took over 10 minutes for me to convince the employees I would not be sitting through it. Other than that, it was a great stay. I would love to stay at the resort again, but I am somewhat hesitant only because of that unpleasant experience. It just got the trip off to a rough start. Facility-wise though it is top notch.

• 137gaylem (10/5): Cape Cod cottages at Table Rock Lake - We have a timeshare and stay at this resort every two years. We love having a whole house and the ambience of the place is fun. My daughter enjoys staying here with her friends because of the bar close to the pool!

Nice resort to bring the family. We stayed in the lake view condos but it was a real bummer that we had no lake access. No dock to swim. Not convenient to get to the pools from the condos. You have to drive. The ice machines weren’t working and there isn’t any amenities for the condo area. Not a very convenient spot to stay at the resort. Good stay. I’d stay again when the dock is reopen.

• deborahmZ6522KW (6/5): Creekside accommodations - We spent a couple of nights here which is a remote and separate building from the main Stormy Point Village. So to access the restaurant, it is a less than 5 minute drive to the main Village. A view of Table Rock is not seen from this building, but a nice babbling brook can be seen and heard from the units. We had a 1 bedroom unit with wood-look tile throughout. A few gliches occurred during our stay which were disappointing. The kitchen appliances were newer stainless steel, however, the microwave did not work. When pushing start, it would beep and "door" appeared on the screen. The large soaking tub in the bathroom was missing part of the drain so it could not be filled. And only 1 bath towel was provided for 2 people. The showerhead in the shower is not adjustable so short people beware. Also, the bed mattress was covered with a noisy plastic cover that impaired our sleep. We did enjoy the electric fireplace and the cable TV channels. And the dual sinks in the bathroom were a nice touch. I recommend an increase in monitoring quality control to prevent a repeat of such gliches.
• Razorbackfan1 (4/5): Just Ok - No Front Desk or Customer Service on the Property. You have to go to Stormy Point Village which is approx a mile from this location. A little nicer than Stormy Point Village, however the bed head boards are horrible. Every time you move the head board would bang the wall. 2 somewhat sleepless nights
• ckekec22 (8/5): Fun place - Good food in the bar/pool area. Happy hour prices are nice & appreciated! Great fun at the pool. Slide, mermaids, popsicles! Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Check in and check out was easy - just a little slow.
• bethb962 (8/5): Cute Condo Outside of the Resort - Our family of 4 rented a 2 bedroom condo for a week stay. When we arrived, we found out that we had 2 separate units, a studio and 1 bedroom with an adjoining door. This worked out great for us, as our kids are teenagers. Both rooms were clean, well equipped with everything we needed, and cutely decorated. These units are located offsite of the main resort, so you have to drive to go to the pools, restaurants, and any of the activities offered at Stormy Point Cottages. While these are on the lake, there is not a lake view as the area is heavily wooded which obstructs the lake. There is a dock close to the condo with a few chairs and lake swimming, however, the water is pretty murky and there is a lot of boat traffic with people launching their boats so not ideal for younger swimmers. Beware when you check in and get your parking pass, they try and get you to come to a sales presentation to buy into the timeshare and the employee who helped us was pretty aggressive in his efforts to get us to book a presentation. Also, half of our keys didn’t work to the room so be sure to check them all before you leave your room!!! Bring laundry detergent if you plan to use the washing machine in the rooms as it is very expensive and they only give you one box of tide.
