Guest Reviews
- Deb (6/5): - Location was along rail tracks and highway. Restaurant was closed.
- William (6/5): - Supposed to include breakfast but restaurant was closed due to lack of staff.Very basic stay but the price reflected that.
- Andrea (10/5): cozy room - It was a cozy, no frills motel. I called for a late check in and was accommodated. A train does go by in the early am, so that was a surprise. Slept like a baby though. Love supporting Mom & Pop places
- Robin (10/5): - This is an older motel. Room was adequate for our needs.
- Kathryn (2/5): - We’re not open when arrived
- Jerry (10/5): - Julie was helpful, supportive and genuine. It was a pleasant stay.
- Carrie (10/5): - The owner is the sweetest lady, makes u feel right at home
- Philip (10/5): - Very friendly at desk and clear on instructions
- Kathleen (2/5): Very clean but a little disappointing - It was very misled by the description. It said that there was a pool and a hot tub and free breakfast in the description when we arrived you call the phone number to check in. There is no pool on site. You can go and pay to go to the public pool, no hot tub. There is a restaurant on site but it doesn’t open till 11 and there was no free breakfast buffet. The person that I spoke with was very kind and the rooms were very clean so I had no problem with that whatsoever. It just wasn’t what we expected, and the kids were kind of disappointed when they were promised one thing , and we weren’t able to do any things that was listed
- Viridiana (2/5): - The service was poor and rude
- Thomas (2/5): - Room heater did not work initially.
Cold water in the shower.
Blankets had holes in them.
No coffee in room.
Did not provide amenities that were on Expedia.
- Erick (10/5): - Convenient
- Kim (10/5): - Good food, very clean. Great value
- Mark (8/5): - The owners were great - friendly and helpful. Very relaxed.
- Royd (8/5): - Okay
- Jerrett and Patty (10/5): - I liked the everything
- Stephanie (6/5): - Needs to be cleaned and overhauled
- David (6/5): - No staff on site, called a number and spoke with the owner who had no record of my reservation through Expedia. Room was unlocked, key inside, several holes knocked in walls, took pictures to avoid being blamed. Sink extremely hard ti turn on, shower faucet leaked and wouldn’t turn on. Wasn’t horrible, just not good. Restaurant wasn’t open either.
- Rodger (8/5): Probably Not - The hotel room was clean. Very outdated and in a secluded area which made me very uncomfortable. I will probably not return because of that. And the parking lot was gravel making it hars to ride my bike on and off.
- Nathan (6/5): Not That Great. - The website said $60 a room, when I got there I was charged $70 for two rooms and $65 for the third room.
The Hotel is older, rooms could use a good cleaning, and update. The AC was ice cold! The Chairs in the rooms were broken down and old. We were supposed to get free breakfast, but they were closed on Sunday morning and didn't provide any breakfast.
- Vicki (6/5): - It was clean. Price was great!
- Connie (6/5): - The shower was extremely hard to turn on. Since sundays there is no cleaning service, an extra roll of tp would have been appreciated. The pillows need to be replaced. They were so hard. Had such a neck ache.
- Marc (10/5): - The property is slightly off the main road and very quiet. Downtown is an easy walk. 2nd stay and both were good. We’ll be back.
- Celia (10/5): - Great time
- Richard (8/5): - Good price. I will stay there again.
- CASEY (8/5): Worth the money - Friendly and clean. Good for the money. Older and out dated but clean.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - There was no one around if something was wrong with the room
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The Wi-Fi password didn't work, the pillows were terrible and flat. The staff was nice.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything was fine. It was a relief since for some odd reason everything in the area was booked up, so I’m grateful that I could get in last minute. And my room had a recliner! How cool is that? I’ve been a hundreds of motels and never have I had chair that comfortable.
- Lori (8/5): Friendly - Was a nice place. Everyone was very friendly.
- CASEY (8/5): - Very sweet owner and staff. Rooms are outdated but clean. Restaurant is busy with good food. Nice for a short stay .
- anna (6/5): - outdated. room smells, bed super uncomfortable.
- DonDon (6/5): - Needs to have a walk thru done before renting the room
- Tommy (4/5): - Barely any cable channels. No WiFi. Outdated. Did not get the room I booked and was the only one staying at property.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Was handy place to crash. But I will not stay again
- Cheryl (8/5): - Clean, comfortable, good place to stay.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Staff was friendly. Rooms clean but in serious need of maintenance and updating. Ceiling in bathroom was peeling and split. Hand sink area had some obvious signs of plumbing issues in past. Mattress and pillows needed replacement.
- Veda (10/5): - This is a great place to stay. The room charge is inexpensive for a place this nice.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Günstige Verkehrslage, Supermarkt nebenan.
Viel Lärm durch vorbeiführende Bahnstrecke.
Extrem hellhörige Zimmer. Man versteht jedes Wort in den Nachbarzimmern.
Mobiliar alt, beschädigt und teilweise schmuddelig. Bettmatratzen unförmig und muffig. Bettgestell wackelig und einsturzgefährlich.
Restaurant düster und für meinen Geschmack ungemütlich.
- Kerry (4/5): Wont be back. - Very Cheap all the way down to the room to no working ice machine and the restaurant that keeps the lights off to save money.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Little run down, could use some overall cleaning and new furniture and lighting. Lamp shades missing light bulbs out.
- Dallas (10/5): great stay - it was great friendly people
- Verified traveler (8/5): Comfortable but needs a remodel. - This hotel is dated, but comfortable. There really is no breakfast as stated on the Hotels.com app. I have stayed twice at this hotel because there were no rooms left at either of the other two hotels. The breakfast consisted of a bowl of cereal that the desk person poured for me. I was told they would make oats if I really wanted it. The beds are soft and the place is fairly quiet. Rooms are clean, but old. Parking is free but all gravel. Lots of out of state workers in for various jobs, so all hotels fill fast in this town. Probably will have to stay here again, because if the other two hotels being booked. But would rather not. This is also $30 cheaper than the other hotels.
- Alfreda (6/5): Stay at Sandhiller - Was convenient to restaurant and meeting
- J.B (8/5): Good for the price - Nice enough for a a low cost stay in Wray. light breakfast included in restaurant onsite(oatmeal, toast, coffee). Staff is friendly and older building was clean so would stay there again.
- Rudy (10/5): - Nice and convient
- Kerry (8/5): No Frills, but Clean - I wasn't looking for all the bells and whistles, just a clean, comfortable room. This met those needs. I needed to check in well after their front lobby closed for the night. This was an easy process. I had a very good night's rest.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Nice people, nice location but the facility is very rundown. Poor insulation between rooms therefore very noisy. Bed was made up every day, but room was not vacuumed all the time. Condition of furnishings was in bad shape, broken TV, broken lamps, broken drawers.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel - Free breakfast was little to none in choice had to order ahead of time
- Lynnell (10/5): New Summer retreat in Wray - Quite amazing if you’re okay with very quaint surroundings, very friendly people and the food???? OMG, home cooking with a fresh taste of comfort! Chris will always be in my memory and we look forward to seeing everyone again in April!
The room was very comfortable & clean but the plumbing could use a little tweak. No complaints though! This place is charming & friendly & the adorable little town of Wray is on our radar!
- Lisa (2/5): Small cramped rooms, no coffee ice or any amenitie - Checked in on a Sunday and went for 2 days with 0 staff on site...we're advertised a continental breakfast online but come to find out they don't do that, were advertised a room that sleeps 6 and got one that sleeps 4. Tiny cramped outdated rooms with no coffee or even an ice machine in site, our room was not cleaned or even the beds made for 2 of our 3 night stay and had to go without clean towels, the staff seemed to not care when I expressed my unhappiness with the quality of care here and we were told that this is a small town so that's how things are here. Well small town or not I believe if you are a hotel you should have staff on hand at all times.....Will not be staying here again
