• Christine (9/5): - L'accueil était très sympathique. Chambre grande et confortable. L'hôte nous a indiqué de très bons restaurants dans Biei. Le petit déjeuner était préparé avec des produits frais et locaux. Il aurait été agréable qu'il y ait des yaourts et/ou fruits au petit déjeuner.

The hosts were extremely nice and very helpful. The breakfast was also great. They realized we didn’t have winter tires in our rental car when it snowed heavily the next day and contacted the rental car company for us to help get us a replacement car.

• Birte (7/5): - Man wird zuverlässig und freundlich im Privathaushalt der jungen Familie empfangen. Man wohnt privat bei den Gastgebern im Haus bzw. im Annex, daher gibt es gemeinsam genutzte Bereiche. Es erfolgte eine sehr pragmatische und strikte Einweisung in die Hausregeln und Handhabungen durch den Gastgeber. Man kann auf dem Hof vorm Haus parken. Die Betten sind traditionelle, klappbare, unbequeme Futons. Das hatten wir bei der Buchung wohl leider überlesen. Die Dusche befand sich nicht en suite/etage, sondern ein Stockwerk tiefer gelegen. Es gibt in der Gegend um Biei recht wenige Hotels/Unterkünfte, zumindest die in englischer Sprache buchbar wären. Das begründet wohl den erstaunlich hoch angesetzten Preis.

• Yvonne (10/5): Fantastic and beautiful stay with a friendly host! - The host, Hiroshi was super welcoming and friendly and always happy to help with recommendations around the area! We had a tatami futon room and it was a very comfortable stay with everything you needed provided for, and we were even able to borrow 5 of Hiro’s electric bikes to explore the beautiful local area and bike to Biei town! Their family dog Okaka was also super friendly and super cute! Because we had a big group of 5 and we only had 1 private bathroom and 1 shared bathroom and 3 shared showers (with the other guests), there was a bit of congestion in the morning/evening while everyone was getting ready but we didn’t mind it too much.
• Kim (10/5): Excellent - The owners were very kind and patient. They live with their family in an adjoining house, so are often available to help. They clearly take pride in maintaining a very clean place, and attending to their guests' needs. The owner kindly lent me an e-bike to use, which was perfect for sightseeing around the region without paying high rental fees. The breakfasts were simply delicious, I can't recommend them enough. The rooom was clean and very nice, with your own sink and en suite toilet. There's 1 shared shower, but I never had a problem queuing for it. The futon was layered on top of another futon-esque thing, and on tatami floor, so it was quite comfortable. I could use the washing machine freely. They supplied me with detergent for 100¥, or I could bring my own. There were washing lines in my room to hang it out. You are only supplied small hand towels, not body towels, which we would need to pay around 100¥ for. I assume this is a measure to help reduce electricity and water usage, as the owners are environmentally conscious.

• Brendon (9/5): In a word, lovely! - Wonderful hosts; very nice breakfasts; easy use of bath/showers; super comfy futons; well-lighted, comfortable common room; and convenient free parking. Very quiet area, but only a km/mi or two from the town, restaurants, local attractions, etc. Also, the bicycles on offer for guests are very nice. On balance it's hard to imagine a more pleasant place to stay in Biei for the same money. Keep in mind that the stairs to the rooms are quite steep, so this might not be the best option for a family with very small children or someone who is mobility challenged. Also, while the rooms are perfectly adequate, there is no desk/chair, so you'll need to use the common room for anything that requires sitting (unless you're comfortable on the tatami floor).

Well worth the stay. It was a shame I could not stay longer. The town nearby is also very cute and worth seeing. Much prettier than Furano. Nothing negative to say.
• Jill (8/5): Megamiyuki is a great pension in the beautiful environs of Biei which itself is a lovely town - A rural setting just out of town, but still very accessible to everything. Very quiet. Traditional Japanese house and room, room is futons on tatami but spacious with toilet and basin in the room. Shower/bath is downstairs. Everything spotless. Yuki and Hiro are lovely hosts and very obliging, and the free electric bikes are a real bonus (very useful if you don’t have a car). Nothing!
• Soon (9/5): Family homestay in the outbacks. - Suited in a rural area just outside of Biei, this house offers home stay with the owner family. The hosts were extremely welcoming and saw to all our needs. Breakfast was wonderful with home made soft bread being the highlight. Although the downstairs shower area is shared, there were no problems with availability nor privacy. Tatami style beds with a quirky pillow of loose hard plastics? inside. Free parking outside the house. Just be mindful of some restrictions with noise and showers close at 10pm. Nothing actually. You will need a car to access the house as there is no public transport nearby.The house is in a street that is not well lit, so searching for it at night can be difficult. Advised to keep the host informed of your arrival as they don't accept very late or odd hours arrivals.

• Ernst-herman (10/5): Fabulous Farmstay in the Fields - The hosts were super accommodating and sweet. They were patient and supportive when my plans went skew, giving me a lift from the station and helped me out with planning my itinerary late at night, even supplying an electric bicycle the next day to ensure I could move more freely and safely. Their wholesome atmosphere and hearty farm breakfast brought life and love into my travel-worn bones. Highly recommend. Finding a meal after 8pm is tricky on this small town not really the owners or accommodation's fault, but worth taking note of, eat early and well. Everything else was perfect.

• Lotte (10/5): Perfect stay in Hokkaido! - We had a great stay! The hosts are really friendly and gave tips about walking routes and onsen. The breakfast is served with a lot of love. The guesthouse has everything you need and is close to the Biei blue pond and Daisetsuzan National Park. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby. It is best to rent a car. I can only recommend this guesthouse!!

• Sinying (7/5): Good - The host drove us to the town for dinner and picked us back to the pension afterward. The location is a bit far from the town and it's a relatively steep road to the pension for us riding a bicycle to get there.

It was nestled in trees and fields full of flowers, and the owner was truly sweet. We really appreciated where it was situated - but we did have a car, and I know that made it much easier to travel between Furano and Biei which were both lovely! Extremely pleasant and would absolutely come back!

• SEUNGMIN (10/5): 비에이에 다시 온다면 꼭 이 펜션으로 올껍니다 - 너무 만족스러웠어요. 비에이역에서 걸어서 30분정도 걸리지만 펜션 주인 사장님께서 개인 차로 비에이역까지 대려다 주셨습니다. 펜션 주인 두분 정말 친절하십니다. 펜션도 굉장히 감성있었고, 다시 비에이에 간다면 꼭 이 펜션에서 묵을꺼에요. 조식도 정성이 담겨보였어요. 너무 맛있었습니다. 혼자 여행왔지만 2박 3일동안 잘 지내다갑니다.

It makes my trip memorable. - This hostel runned by a family who are exceptionally friendly and offer genuine kindness. They are the best host I've ever met in my trip. They gave me a lift from the station to the hostel and even from the hostel to the place that I wanted to go for the next day. The breakfast tastes very fresh as it's originally from Biei farmers, definitely worth trying if you want a taste of fresh Japanese countryside vegetables. Nothing I can think of
• Shuu (10/5): Exceptional - cthe host is a kawaii family. though I intended to take a walk from the been station to the pension，the proprietress insisted on meeting on the station for a lift , since it is seemingly not that safe for wandering during the night. the location is just splendid，it is a 5 min ride from the owesome sunset spot and a 30 min ride to the 四季色の丘. and the panorama street views around the pension are beautiful and stunning beyond words. they provided with electronic bicycle for free so there is no need to worry if you don't intend to tent the car. the handmade breakfast is tasty with local produced vegetables and bread. especially the biei milk is unforgettable！if only i could every day drink it……different from the feeling of live in hotels, the host are warm hearted and bright. the bloomed lifestyle made me somewhat admired. If there is a chance, I would like to spend another vacation with my family or friends here 朝食時間は早すぎで、朝寝坊できない……

Toilet barely worked and we had to add additional water to flush Bed was very hard and many bugs found the overall cleanliness was poor On the upside the breakfast was substantial enough to last well into the day Sorry One Star

• Kangchuan (8/5): 溫馨、乾淨、親切，值得再次前往。 - 我們一家三人於2018/814入住，到惠雪已經下午18:30，19:00辦好入住手續後開車到美瑛市區的超市買水果。惠雪男女主人都非常親切，男主人還幫忙清洗及切水果裝盤。房間非常新也非常乾淨，有獨立的廁所，同樣的也是非常乾淨，唯一的不方便是共用浴室，但有2間，也同樣很乾淨。早餐的自製吐司麵包及馬鈴薯超級好吃。很不錯的旅館。
• Daphne (8/5): - 在新榮之丘景點的旁邊而已 民宿下午四點才能check in 所以最好走完景點吃飽飯再回去 因為美瑛的餐廳都很早休息 室內環境小巧舒適 一樓有個不小的客餐廳（我們是買了超商的便當回去民宿吃） 很適合孩子活動 房間內空間長條形的 有冷氣 擺放四個日式墊鋪剛剛好 孩子很喜歡這裡跑上跑下的 早餐簡單營養 也可以吃的飽了 我五歲的孩子 有多加一個睡墊 但其實不用加也夠 因為睡墊挺大的 屋主還蠻和善的

• Hyeonyong (10/5): - Nice and slience. The owner's very kind. Can talk english with them, but It's more helpful when you can speak japanese. It was hot when I come and air conditioner was not good, so room was quite hot. The breakfast was fresh and good.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Nice view from the room windows - Small B&B with limited rooms. Nice location after one day visiting Furano, and planning to go Biei the next day.
• Kelly (8/5): Cosy ryokan with nice breakfast - The room was a little small for our family of four (two adults and two young children) and there were some misunderstanding of the booking as I thought we had booked for four people, but were informed by the host that the booking did not include the children. We paid on the spot for the children’s beds and breakfast, which was no fuss but probably information on Expedia could have been clearer. The breakfast was good for adults (egg over lettuce, (steamed?) potatoes, small sausage) but our children didn’t really take theirs in the end except for the sausage and toast. There wasn’t much space in the room for our luggage and there was a tight staircase up to the room so we would advise travelers to travel light. We bathed in the external bathrooms in the annex building as the main building’s were under reno. It wasn’t an issue though. Overall, still a pleasant stay.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent - I am from South Korea, and visited last week. Hirosi who are owner of Yuki is very kind and had explained everything I wondered. Very good facilities, clean, kind, and beautiful nature around Yuki. Last, it's so close to Bei jung, around 5 minutes from Yuki. Thank you Hirosi and hope see you again.
