Guest Reviews
- Subhajyoti (10/5): - Just opposite the Barossa Cheese Factory in Angaston stands this amazing home away from home. Perfectly poised in the very happening part of Barossa elite, and short distance away from all the great vine yards - perfect balance for city flavor amidst nature and wine.
Super sweet (read helpful) host who comes all the way out to help any need and still give so much space that you feel completely secluded in privacy.
I had been in Barossa a dozen times in last 2 years and both me and my wife (recently underdone both knee replacement) think this is best value for money, in fact more.
Note - Don’t come with expectation that you are plum centre of vine yard and waking up with kangaroo kissing you. Surely a very aromatic coffee (pods and machine both provided) can wake you up and then you can go for a calm and quiet walk in the park beside and have gour breakfast in nearby cafe and plan your day.
- Don (10/5): - Perfectly comfortable and convenient to the village for dinner / breakfast. A great base for a Barossa exploration.
- John (10/5): Perfect stay in Barossa. - Perfect stay in a perfect location in a perfect set-up. Place was exactly as announced and Alicia kept in touch until we found the place. Very attentive and friendly but not at all intrusive.
Room and adjoining lounge was spacious and nice. Breakfast was already in the fridge and the homemade bread was as nice surprise, as was the bottle of wine.
Pool was just perfect to cool us off after a day in the sun tasting wines in the a Barossa area.
Location was great for driving around the valley, but also for dining in the evenings. The tasting menu with accompanying wine at Otherness was excellent.
Thank you Alicia and Anthony for a nice and warm friendly welcome.
- Kelvin (10/5): Barossa Valley Gem - We loved our stay at tge Barossa White House West Wing! Our hosts Alicia and Anthony were very friendly and had done much to welcome us - a bottle of red and freshly baked bread was a lovely surprise. The accommodation was spotless and spacious and allowed us to fully relax. We would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to stay in a lttle touch of home while visiting the Barossa - we'll be back 🙂
- Pauline (10/5): - Luxurious facilities, special touches like house made bread, 5 min walk to town centre and friendly owners. Just too cold to use the pool 😝
- Margaret (8/5): Average, don’t think it was luxury as advertised - Our accommodation was ok, wasn’t the cleanest. Breakfast cereal should be prepackaged not in a jar. Was disappointed with the 2.2% surcharge when paying at accommodation. Hotels.com give you total amount on accommodation yet when you go and pay at accommodation they charge you more for using credit card. Maybe we should have been warn as I would have paid cash instead
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The host was very friendly and passed on lots of suggestions and organised activities for us to do.
- SIMON (10/5): - Excellent location, walking distance to Angaston with lots of food and drink options. Cycling trail nearby. Clean room, comfortable bed, good a/c, lovely pool on a hot day
- Jo-anna (10/5): - This was a wonderful place to stay. The hosts were friendly, informative and very helpful without being intrusive.
The accommodation was beautifully clean and extremely comfortable. The homemade bread and granola and locally made jam was delicious, as was the complementary bottle of wine.
We would definitely stay here again!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location and just a great place to stay. The hosts were lovely and very helpful
- Verified traveler (10/5): - What a beautiful property - clean, cosy with all the trimmings (including a cheeky bottle of Shiraz and freshly baked bread!!). Walking distance to the local town. And to top it off, such lovely owners who invited us over for a cup of coffee and a chat. We really loved our stay and recommend the White House to anyone staying in the Barossa. 5 stars.
- K (10/5): - Perfect in every way. Alicia is the most gracious host.
- Daryl (10/5): Close to all shops and amenities - Comfortable accommodation with seperate living room, well appointed with heating and cooling.
- Jay (10/5): Extraordinary experience - Accommodations were superb. Luxury decor and comfort. Staff very warm, friendly, accommodating, and clearly interested in our having a most comfortable and pleasant stay. Highly recommend for couples or families. Easy access to quality restaurants.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location - A wonderful spot for a relaxing Barossa weekend. Great location, lovely hosts and high quality accommodation.
