• Tommaso Pioli (6/5): A cubicle in Cebu City - The position was good. The room was not a room, but a small cubicle without windows. During the night the hostel wasn't quiet. It's ok if, like us, you need a cheap place to spend a night before moving to another island.

• YOICHI (10/5): - お湯のシャワーが出るホステルってセブ島ではなかなかないように思います。 あとカプセルホテルみたいに各寝床が壁で完全に仕切られているので、プライベートも守られておりこの点も素晴らしい。 近くにセブンイレブンがあるのも良かったです。 ロケーションに尽きると思います。 どこに行くにも中途半端に遠いです。 私はサウスバスターミナルから徒歩で向かいましたが1.4km歩きましたし、一番近いショッピングセンターであるAyala Centerも1.7km。 タクシーを使うか、歩くことに忌避感がない人であればお勧めのホステルです。 ちなみにコンセントを差す穴が照明スイッチの真下に設置されていて、私が持っていったAnkerの高速充電器がスイッチと干渉して差し込めませんでした。 部屋外で充電することで事なきを得ましたが、この点ご注意ください。

• Chiara (7/5): Für kurze Aufenthalte geeignet - Der Check In war unkompliziert und wir wurden sehr nett (um 23 Uhr) empfangen. Das Bett war sauber, genauso wie das Bad. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt reicht es auf alle fälle aus, aber von längeren Aufenthalten würde ich eher abraten. Obwohl wir in einem Zimmer mit mehreren Leuten waren, war es sehr leise und man wurde nicht gestört. 7-Eleven ist fußläufig zu erreichen (direkt nebenan) und der South Bus Terminal ist mit dem Auto etwa 15 Minuten entfernt. Leider konnte man das Bad nicht abschließen und es gab zum schließen der „Kapseln“ nur dünne Schiebetüren. Es ist kein vorgesehener Stauraum für Gepäck vorhanden, was aber kein Problem ist, wenn man bereit ist, seine Sachen vor dem Bett oder woanders im Zimmer stehen zu lassen. Eine Kleinigkeit, die es zu beachten gibt: Unser Reiseadapter hat leider den Schalter für die Lüftung in der Kapsel blockiert, weshalb man entweder Laden oder lüften kann (es kann etwas stickig werden).

• Baptiste (8/5): - Pour le prix, rien à dire. Hostel format "capsule". Position centrale dans Cebu, parfait pour une nuit étape. Le personnel est très agréable. Les sanitaires sont très petits pour se doucher. Pas trop de places pour nos affaires.

• Catherine (8/5): The world's tiniest hostel with the biggest heart and soul. - Perfect location for Sinulog parade, South bus terminal for Moalboal etc and 1/2 walk to port ( Bohol island etc). Clean ,comfortable compact and cool air con. Small social area lounge and outside table and chairs area. The staff are so kind,hardworking and helpful giving this hostel its heart and soul. Capsules are spacious,clean with main and USB point ,light and personal fan if needed. They have blankets if to cool and towels to rent. Upstairs dorm is more spacious and enclosed by patio door with a sofa and table chair at the end of room. Downstairs dorm is more open and cramped. Lots of personality and homely decor. There is no storage space for large luggage...only suitable for those happy to put the luggage in their capsule!! A small lock is need to secure capsule door. Some guests had ridiculous amount of luggage which blocked the walk way! Needs to be a rule about being mindful of other guests. Limited showers (2) upstairs and toilets (2) upstairs and (2) downstairs off reception area ...but seemed to work and I never had to wait to use. It's a tiny hostel and there is no storage space for mops and buckets etc. Kitchenette is too small to use and fridge also too small but really not needed. Could do with a declutter.

You wanna try and get upstairs to get away from sleeping in the reception Small fan for every pod so it doesnt get stuffy in the pods

Es mi primera vez durmiendo en una capsula, al inicio tenía un poco de claustrofobia pero después todo normal He leído comentarios que muy amables pero no se cuando pedí ayuda porque no tenía simcard filipina no hubo como esa orientación, igual cuando iba a pedir un grab me exigía número filipino y tampoco me quisieron ayudar con eso, se que no es obligación de ellos pero pues siendo extranjero al menos ayudarme
• Jerico Hayo (8/5): Stay in Capsule - I like the exclusiveness of the capsule since it has a small sliding door and you have a sense of privacy. The comfort rooms in the 2nd floor has no locks. I experienced twice that the comfort room doors were opened despite of me using the cr. You should fix put a locks on those doors..

• Amy (7/5): Good for 1 night in Cebu - The staff were friendly and our pod was comfy. It was perfect for what we needed, somewhere to stay for 1 night before our flight. The bathroom doors don’t lock which we found a bit bizarre, it makes it very easy for someone to walk in on you. It’s also quite noisy, we were woken up at 6:45am by another guest taking a phone call on loudspeaker in the dorm.

• Liisa (7/5): Good - There was everything what needed for one night. It was pretty clean and staff was nice. There wasnt enough common space and it was pretty noisy place. If you need just one night to stop over this is okay place for you. But normal dorm is basically the same option than this one, but cheaper I guess:)

• Peter (9/5): 1st time in the phillipines - The staff were very attentive..in particular one young girl who worked part time and was still at high school was very helpful 👌 👍 with technical help to set up my phone with a local SIM card told me where to buy it and helped to download apps like Move it to get cheap bike rides very patiently she taught me how to use ... As I'm an older guy 68 years senior l would have not managed all that easily. Many thanks I had not tried living in a Capsule room before it took a bit of getting used to guess I'll be fine when I eventually get to Japan as it's more common there

The location is really really tiny and luggages are scattered all over the place , Restroom locks are broken and shower water is weak, the nightshift staffs are always sleeping and not available at night. I had a hard time taking a rest I couldn't sleep well because the capsule rooms are just beside the lobby, you hear the noisy staffs and Guest. Not a good place to rest , I should probably stayed in a 1 bedroom hotel.

• Shiv (9/5): Serves it's purpose - I stayed for a night and the place serves it's purpose quite well. Good concept, though it isn't Japanese quality, which is a rather high standard. I'd say it is better than the other capsule hostel/hotel in Cebu in terms of quality, though the other is only a short walk to the ferry pier. Free water for the guests is always a winner. Bed is comfortable, and the capsule can be locked with your own lock and key. You receive a towel. It is about a 15 to 20 min walk from the area where you can find many places to eat. You do only receive a sheet to cover yourself, though I did not think it was cold within the capsule whatsoever. Staff really needs to track the use of toilet paper better, they were out upstairs. Wouldn't hurt them to have extras in there. If you are in the room upstairs and have a large bag, know that you have to climb a flight of very large stairs. The main sliding door to the room upstairs seriously needs some WD40 or alike to help it move better. No social, like the others have said, but I guess that isn't it's purpose.
• Maryll (8/5): Very good - Excellent price for value, the hostel is really cheap but it is really clean and the mattresses are really comfy, we had a great night ! Only issue is filipino people talking loudly at 6am in the room ..! But not the hostel's fault. Friendly staff also. Recommended for a short stay in Cebu if youre travelling on a budget!
