De incheckcode had ik niet gekregen, 3 verschillende telefoonnummers waar niemand opneemt. Etc. Kortom, een fijn verblijf, maar het kan allemaal net wat beter.

• Mees (1/5): nooit meer, overal kakkerlakken - Het appartement zat volledig vol met kakkerlakken. We hebben er tientallen gezien. Aangezien onze dochter al sliep hebben we toch besloten te gaan slapen. Volgende ochtend zagen we er weer tientallen. Toen hebben we de accommodatie geappt. Die gaven na een paar uur aan dat we van appartement konden wisselen en ze de schoonmaker zouden inlichten. Toen hadden wij echter al besloten dat we daar niet langer wilden blijven. De communicatie vonden we vrij minimaal. De overige nachten die we hadden geboekt hoefden we niet te betalen maar de nacht die we zijn gebleven wel. Daar had ik eigenlijk ook een vergoeding voor verwacht.

• Jean (8/5): Tive uma boa estadia, o apartamento era espaçoso e uma ótima opção pra quem viaja a dois ou até mesmo 3 pessoas c cama c - O tamanho do apartamento é maior do que parece nas fotos, cama confortável e ducha foram os pontos fortes. A TV não é smart e nao possui conexão com Netflix e YouTube, a localização tem acesso fácil a estação e centro de compras porém o entorno parece esquisito e abandonado.

• Johanna (7/5): Appartement in Frankfurt Ost - Locatie in Frankfurt Ost, Zoo, ECB en rivier op loopafstand. Appartement met aparte slaapkamer en woongedeelte. Basis faciliteiten zijn aanwezig. Entree komt niet overeen met de foto's. Je moet bellen bij aankomst, maar dan wordt er niet opgenomen. Uiteindelijk via booking messenger codes voor de sleutel gekregen. De sleutel werkte niet op de poort. Vervolgens hele stroeve communicatie (alleen via de chat) voordat dit probleem werd opgelost. Er wordt letterlijk gezegd: 'We hopen dat de sleutel het op een later moment wel doet'. Met het risico dat je 's avonds niet meer binnenkomt! Zeer stressvol na een lange reis en met een peuter op je arm. Ook latere vragen zoals Wifi wachtwoord werden niet meer beantwoord. Het appartement is schoon, maar komt wel wat uitgeleefd over, vlekken op de muren enz.

• Zara (3/5): Nice enough but the bad outweighed the good. Would not recommend - Once we finally got in, it was a nice big space and tidy. It was across the road from a train station, cafe and Rossman. Check in was AWFUL and SO HARD! There were 2 phone numbers, one just kept ringing with no answer and the other didn’t connect. We waited 2 hours to check in and only managed to get in as someone else who lived at the complex happened to come home. Communication was terrible with days/weeks between replies. The bathroom fan was BLACK with mould and dust.

• Yenna (7/5): Goede plek - We zijn inmiddels al meerdere keren in dit hotel/appartement verbleven en komen steeds weer met plezier terug. Alles is altijd keurig schoon en hygiënisch, wat we erg belangrijk vinden. Het bed slaapt bovendien heerlijk, echt een pluspunt! Kortom: een fijne plek om te verblijven, zeker een aanrader. Goede plek, maar dit keer een paar minpunten Dit keer hadden we twee appartementen geboekt voor een overnachting tijdens onze doorreis. De communicatie verliep contactloos via e-mail. In plaats van persoonlijk inchecken, kregen we een code en konden we de sleutels ophalen via een brievenbus. Dat was anders dan we gewend waren, maar op zich prima geregeld. Een aandachtspunt: parkeren bij het hotel zelf is er niet. Je kunt wel tegenover de parkeergarage bij ZOO parkeren, maar dat is aan de prijzige kant (€35,- per dag). Helaas werkte de WiFi in één van de appartementen niet, en bij het andere appartement ging de deur moeilijk dicht. We hebben hierover een bericht gestuurd, maar kregen geen reactie. Dat was jammer en niet wat we gewend zijn van eerdere verblijven. Hopelijk wordt dit de volgende keer weer beter opgepakt, want verder blijven de locatie en het comfort prima.

Hotel management is not reachable by any phone number, messages, or in person: no one is on reception even in the working times mentioned on the door. Room very dirty (except bedsheets and towels), as if the room wasn't cleaned at all before check-in: floors and tables are sticky and dusty, found a used condom in the middle of the floor in the bedroom. Electricity went off completely in the room one morning; Half a roll of toilet paper left after last visitors; No mugs for tea, only small cups for espresso and glasses; No detergent for the washing machine; Street lighting at the entrance is glowing all night through the glass entrance door and distorts the sleep; The bathroom has no windows and a very weak ventilation system, thus needs to be ventilated manually through an open door; Uncomfortable thin flattening out pillows; Only one freezer drawer is not frozen in place; Mediocre sound isolation, noisy neighbors.
• Dean (1/5): Bait and Switch - They try to stick me in a dump of an apartment with a huge baby crib in the what seemed to be like the waiting area of the apartment it was actually supposed to be the living room it looked like a janitor's closet the apartment I don't see any of the photos of the apartment that they tried to shove me into on the website it doesn't exist on the website yet they tried to put me into this hovel. The false advertising aspect of this rental is completely unethical, and illegal and should be addressed by Booking.com. I love booking.com but this should not be allowed on their website if they want to continue their excellent reputation they have to address these issues.

• Victoria (5/5): Great location, sub-par service - Well located, super close to metro and tram lines Information about the check in / check out process was very unclear. I confirmed with the property ahead of time that I would drop my bags off early, before the 3pm check in time but when I arrived the place was totally deserted with a sign saying ‘no reception’. I messaged the property via the Booking.com app with no reply and there was no answer on any of the x3 phone numbers provided. I ended up sitting in a nearby cafe for 2hrs with my bags until the 3pm check in time. Zero info given about the check out process, I had a 5am train so just ended up leaving the keys in the door to be collected.

I stay in so many hotels and Airbnb's around the world and this is by far one of my favorites not because it's the most luxurious or because it's over styled or anything like that. It's just a very comfortable spot it's quiet it's peaceful. It's private. The spaces are great and you feel at home immediately. I will definitely be staying here again and I don't understand why this doesn't have a higher rating on this website because it's unbelievable for the value and overall experience . It's a real gem. The rooms are mostly on the ground floor, within a small locked courtyard only accessible to guests. Nice big windows, comfortable bed and so much space for the price and location.
• Karl (5/5): Not like the pictures! - It is spacious. It is nothing like advertised!! It looks nothing like the pictures!! Maybe they took pictures in one apartment that looked better than the rest and use it for all their apartments. The kitchen had a leak, there was water all over the kitchen floor. There's no parking nearby, which is fine, I managed... but there isn't even a place nearby to park your car for a short while to get your luggage out. The towels in the bathroom had stains on them, like they weren't properly washed. The next morning, in the shower, there was an insect! The curtains don't work properly, they are attached to some windows, so it's impossible to use them or the window. The entrance door is translucent so people can almost see inside. The pictures make it look like a boutique hotel but it's far from it! I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for the cozy charming stay that was advertised in the listing. It looks like they just got some used furniture and threw it around without any thought behind it.

It was completely disappointing. The things they served as breakfast were so mediocre, it was the worst breakfast I've ever had in my life. Despite such a bad breakfast, products keep running out, and you can't find anything to eat.

• Margarita (4/5): Filthy and dangerous until you are in your room. Do not recommend with a child. - Inside the room it was very clean and comfortable. Every detail was well designed and cared for. Outside in the entrances to the hotel and hallways it felt unsafe, creepy and filthy. The signs on how to get the keys are faded and confusing, the rooms are numbered in Roman numerals (I, II, III, IV, etc) however whoever put them in *order* didn’t make it clear so the suites are RIDICULOUSLY hard to find and it’s extremely irritating, especially as the staff literally ignored me as they are sick of how stupid their system is. The entrance is filthy and rats and drug addicts looking for bottles swarm on the garbage by the entrance gate (mercifully locked) and obvious sex work is taking place in the unstaffed adjoining rooms.

The door too the bathroom was not working, so no privacy. There was a lot for junkies in the area, so I did not feel safe there, neither will your kids. Would not recommend.

The toilet was awful, especially the corners, the exhaust fan, and the heater, all of which were full of accumulated dirt. The door of the bathroom is difficult to close. The general smell of the apartment was bad. The beds, mattress, and pillows all had a gross odor. I do not recommend this apartment at all.

The rooms/ apartments are very spacious, the ceilings are high, it’s very comfortably furnished & has everything you need in a short or even longer stay. The location is quite central (walking distance to the Zein/ Goethe strasse) And finally the staff is really great! Very helpful & very easy going when it comes to early check in/ late check out. Thank you for making my stay so comfortable!

The check in process can be improved. They sent some infos via email where you have check in online first to then receive a pin for the key lock. On questions we never got a reply neither via booking.com chat nor whats app which was disappointing. Nice place still potential in communication :)

Also there were rats walking in and around all the garbage containers that were also placed in that same entrance. They also didnt supply us with the requested bed for our little one. This gave us a lot of last minute challenges, all in all in the end it wasnt worth the extra money we paid to have an appartment with seperate bedrooms for the kids.

It´s specious, quite, cozy, warm, with kitchen, and kitchen utensils, and even salt, pepper, olive oil, sugar, and coffee/tea. The location is perfect! Quite neighborhood, right next to the Ostendstrasse train/metro station, and 15 min. walk to the downtown. We arrived after the work hours and had to get the keys in the box entering a code. It did not work on the first attempt. Had to call to the customer service, but the girl answered immediately and helped us to get the keys.
