- Miklos (4/5): It's not for us. - Built in around 1500 - cold room with a small fancoil heating. Very old, "overused furniture", owners did not spend budget on modernization. Who likes "rustic" rooms with low comfort - go for it. We booked and and prepaid 2 nights, but did not stay there any nights. Lorenzo - owner - was shocked about our decision, but this accommodation was not our taste...
- Thomas (1/5): Durchwegs eine Enttäuschung, wir bereuen es sehr diese Unterkunft gebucht zu haben. - Absolut gar nichts! Fotos spiegeln nicht die Realität wieder. Die „Villa“ ist auf den Fotos einfach nur gut in Szene gesetzt. Vor Ort spürt man nichts davon. Gastgeber geben einem das Gefühl, dass du unerwünscht oder gar lästig bist. Sind extrem hochnäsig und nicht gastfreundlich. Bei der Ankunft ewig gewartet, dass jemand sich um uns kümmert. Sind dann extern Mittagessen gewesen, bei der Rückkehr steht man wieder am Empfang herum. Chefin hat einen geschäftlichen Termin vor Ort und du bist zum warten verdammt. Das einzig nette was wir erleben durften, war die Putzfrau, die hat wenigstens gefragt ob wir eine gute Anreise hatten und woher wir kommen. Zimmer sind jedoch nur oberflächlich geputzt, Fenster undicht, modriger Geruch. Soll familienfreundlich sein? Nein absolut nicht, unser Arpartment war sehr gefährlich für Kinder weil eine offene Stiege zum Bett hinauf führt. Das Geländer im erhöhten Schlafraum, mehr Optik als nützlich. Dieses Zimmer entspricht nicht mal den Bauvorschriften und sollte sofort aus dem Angebot genommen werden. Sitzgelegenheit aus alten Paletten gebaut. Für diesen Preis, absolut frech und unverschämt. Aufgrund eines Unwetters war zur Zeit der Ankunft kein Strom im Zimmer. Ich verstehe natürlich, dass die Besitzer nichts für ein Gewitter können, aber die Art wie mit der Situation umgegangen wurde ist höchst unprofessionell. Wir haben freundlich gefragt ob ein anderes Zimmer für uns frei wäre. Leider wurde uns erst für nächsten Tag eine Alternative angeboten. Da wir mit einem 5 jährigen und einem 1 Jährigen Kind reisten, mussten wir selbst handeln. Wir erklärten die Situation und baten freundlich um Stornierung. Wieder keine Einsicht von den Besitzern. Wir mussten 100% zahlen obwohl wir nicht eingezogen sind. In der Not mussten wir nochmal ein überteuertes Hotel buchen. Die Gegend um die Villa hat ebenfalls 0 zu bieten.

The wifi was not working for most of our stay. The breakfast was small and €15 per person. There is food available during the day from a menu (it is very expensive), but when we asked the chef was not there, which was a shame as the location is very remote, with nothing else around.

- Rojhat (3/5): I would not suggest anyone to stay there during the winter. - As it was winter, property was closed for all services. we could not enjoy the properties of the property. Room was so small and cold. There was AC in the room but was not enough to heat the room. Floor was very cold and there was no flip flop at the room. Shower was visible from outside as there was not proper dark glass on the shower window. We have requested breakfast but it was the worst breakfast that I have seen at Italy when we compare with other properties that we stayed. There was no any other guest except us at the property and that’s why they were not well prepared. No English speaker available. Only owner of the property can speak English but she was not available all the time.

- Anonymous (7/5): the room is small and with some property features unavailable/not working, maybe a little overpriced - we loved the property grounds, truly beautiful. the pool area and gardens were lovely and the vineyard nearby was a nice walk. the host was kind to give us recommendation for local food options when the property was not running their dinner offer that day. the room is very small but okay. unfortunately the jacuzzi wasn’t running when we were there due to a storm, which was a shame but as it was one of the features we were looking forward to but possibly not avoidable. our room heater did not work but we were provided an extra blanket in the end, and the sheets were damp on the bed but at that point it was late at night so we just used anyway as they were clean.

- Christian (9/5): Superb - Very exclusive ... Size of the room was indicated in booking.com with 24 m² (still on booking.com), upgrade only possible with higher price - actual size was 14 m². Room was small, no space to dry the cloths after the (perfect) swim in the pool. Hardly any space for the luggage. Stay in the room was therefore not a real pleasure. Price high for room size - should be only single bed. Breakfast is good, but to expensive for the variaty offered (obviously also other guests think similar).

The bath is in the middle of the room, with bright windows on both sides but no way to cover them. So there is defenitely a lack of privacy there.

- Thomas (9/5): A beautiful historic house with excellent facilities which we will recommend to friends - The location, the room and the staff were extremely good. An exceptional property with such history and style. The breakfast room was beautiful, as was the entire property. The pool was a big hit with the family and a very enjoyable place to relax in the sunshine with a good book. The local pizzeria and micro brewery located in the vineyards was a real find. Fantastic food and great staff made it our go to eatery during our stay. A couple of small points of note were that there was a coffee machine in the room but no kettle. No tea provided or coffee capsules for the machine which was strange as tea and coffee making facilities in a hotel room are the most simplistic of requirements. The breakfast provided was quite limited for the price charged.
