The room is spacious, everything is new and very well set up, with a modern TV and great cold air conditioning. The only small downside was that I could hear some noise from the family with little kids in the next room, but overall it was a great experience. I would definitely come back.

- matthew (10/5): - What a beautiful experience me and my wife had visiting this property. We’ve been to Puerto Rico several times and have stayed at several high-end hotels. This place takes the cake! Definitely felt spoiled the entire time. The owner is on premises, making sure everything is ran exactly the way it needs to be. He gave great lunch and dinner recommendations and the property is located directly across a bustling beach that’s extremely lively. No issues with noise after sundown. Easy parking. Would 100% visit next time we are in Puerto Rico. Thank you for hosting me and my wife. We appreciate you!!

- MIGUEL (10/5): Family Weekend - Excellent family weekend. Luichy's isn't luxury, it's more of a perfect family atmosphere. It's steps from the beach, has its own store, and two dining options. The owner is a great host and takes care of every detail to ensure his guests have a memorable stay.

The room was perfect for what we needed and comfortable for the whole family..it is right next to the beach so we got to enjoy a very peaceful and fun beach..the restaurants around it are great at Annie’s place you can dine with a beautiful view of the beach! The staff is amazing and very understandable and helpful. Anytime I’m in this area it will be my go to hotel, i definitely recommend to everyone.

The owner, Ángel, called ahead to connect with me, and later, Wesley at the front desk was very courteous, personally showing me to my room and parking. Overall, I highly recommend it as a great overnight option for staying and dining in Cabo Rojo, right on El Combate Beach.

- Amber (10/5): - Luichy’s Seaside Hotel was perfect for our family vacation. The owner Angel was fantastic to meet and is a very lovely person. He clearly takes pride in his establishment, working hard to make sure not one detail is overlooked and that your stay is comfortable. With two kids aged 8 & 16 we had no problem finding entertainment for both within 30 min drive. If we needed a rest Combate beach was a short 1 min walk away with great atmosphere, music, tents for shade, trails for walking, and calm water for the kids. The local people were more than welcoming and kind no matter where we were. Parking right on site huge plus! Restaurants, parks, and grocery all within walking distance. Definitely recommend!

- LaRae Lea Peterson (8/5): - The property was as advertised. It was clean with modern finishes. A quick two minute walk from the beautiful Combate beach and multiple dining options. Our kids enjoyed the pool. Being able to park inside the gated property was nice since the area gets very busy in the evenings and on weekends. The area is pretty pretty busy and loud so if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs. We felt safe and enjoyed our stay.

You Can Smell The Cleanliness Of The Room. Everything Was So Great And Had A Basket With Everything I Needed For My Stay. I Was Able To Relax During The Day And Sleep Quietly At Night. - Andrew (10/5): - Come to Combate if you’re looking for a peaceful and quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of San Juan. Luichy’s was clean, comfortable, and convenient. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The locals are very kind. Beautiful beaches, great food, great scenery. For my fellow birdwatchers - Luichys is only ten minutes from the Cabo Rojo Salt Flats. An ABSOLUTE must see for serious birders. Make sure you come on the weekend when everything is open. If I ever make it back to PR / Cabo Rojo, I will certainly be staying at Luichys seaside resort.

We couldn’t picked a better place!!! I booked through Expedia, we were 4 (2 couples) and by mistake I booked a room for 1 couple. The owner helped us and upgraded our stay. He received us with cookies and a warm welcome! The room was fantastic, very comfy, updated, smelled very clean and fresh, the A/C was very good and the beds incredibly comfortable. The room includes something like a balcony where you have chairs and a table, coffee, a hammock and the most important, BEACH VIEW! 😍 We didn’t have to drive anywhere since right in the same spot you have different types of restaurants. If you need to buy stuff from a marketplace there’s one 5 minutes away driving. Luichys was more than we expected and we will be back! Thank you.

- Joshua (4/5): Great spot if you want to party all night long. - But if you want to sleep at night, go elsewhere. Small place with nice staff and super close to 3 bars so the noise at midnight is not quite as loud as 2am. No hot water in the bathroom sink, shower water gets kinda warm at very low flows, the water heater is on shower head. The beach is close and is great.

I have a great Anecdote with a lost car keys that describes why Luichys is the best place in Puerto Rico i dont want to get in details but others people also validate the great rating this place have.
- Kathia (8/5): - Nice place across from the beach. Very convenient. The rooms are nice and modern with air conditioner. The bathrooms are renovated but uncomfortable due to the small space. I recommend adding a few hooks on the bathroom wall or behind the bathroom door to hang stuff to make it more comfortable. Also, although the bedsheets were washed, they had old stains which gives a bad impression. The owner is very attentive. The whole area can become super noisy with loud music with offensive language. I think is a problem in Puerto Rico and lawmakers and law enforcement should do something about it.

Room completely remodeled , nice and clean Luichy very friendly and always making sure that everithing is ok. Check in very smooth. Highly recommended , we got a great service and help for free from Martin that does not work for the hotel but gave us free chairs and canopy. Just for a tip. In a few words it was a great experience. I would like to come back more often.
