Guest Reviews
- dubay (5/5): It was 50% good 50% bad. - The rooms were clean and everyone was friendly. One of our rooms didn’t have air conditioning and there wasn’t another room to give us.
- Jane (10/5): We chose this for a one night road trip stop and to check out the GAP trail. Perfect! - The location is great right in the river with a cute restaurant next door. Quiet area. Nothing!
- Debra (10/5): Wonderful respite near a beautiful river and a quaint, sweet old town center. - Everything was AMAZING, from the greeting, through the staff and the view. We will be back! Do NOT change a single thing!

- Romar (8/5): convienant - I loved that the locatin was right next to a river, i thought that was a nice amenity to have on location, hotel was also next to some restaraunts which was also great. It was brought to my attention after the fact that comfort inns honors veterans with different pricing, and being a 22 year retired vet, i wouldv'e loved to have utilized any and all benefits being i'm on a strengant budget, i had let it be known at the front desk but i was charged i believe the regular rate. So I can't say if i would\will make that mistake again.

Very good restauant next door. Dividing room walls are thin. I could hear the TV and noice from the room next to mine.

- Rebecca (8/5): Everyone was courteous and we enjoyed the area by the river. - Clean. Comfortable. We were able to bring our two small dogs. Very dog friendly. Nice area to walk. Update the coffee pots in the room to Kcup coffee. The old set up tastes awful. The pillows need to be bigger. Hand bars in bath tub area.

- janeta414 (10/5): Stay HERE! - When have you every gone on a trip and said the motel where you stayed was a highlight? Me neither, until now. We had traveled to the area for our first visit to Fallingwaters - this Comfort Inn is only about 30 minutes drive from there. The room was well-appointed - everything quite comfortable and all we needed (except for a mirror to see the back of my hair). There are four things that stand out about this Comfort Inn:
- the people are REALLY nice - everyone...not just "I am polite and helpful because this is my job" nice - super, authentically nice. They look out for you in unexpected ways.
- the location - the Inn sits in front of a river that I cannot spell or pronounce. Benches behind the Inn allow you to sit and ponder. A short walk away is a fishing area where a friendly man told us you can catch trout and showed us a photo of a fish he'd just caught. A squadron of adorable ducks entertain. It really is so relaxing and rejuvenating.
- Breakfast - everything you'd want and with someone (another really friendly person) standing by to refill if some needs replenishing: donuts, muffins, eggs (scrambled and hard-cooked) sausage patties, yogurt, make your own waffles, English muffins are some of the items and good coffee!
- The Rivers Edge restaurant next door. After a long enough drive and a tour we did not want to drive more. How wonderful to find a nice restaurant steps away - not a chain, a unique place with outdoor heaters so we could enjoy the crisp fall weather and a menu that made it hard to choose.
I loved the Comfort Inn in Connellsville, PA and I was sorry to leave.
- Riccardo (9/5): -
- Harlow (8/5): - Convenient. Good price. Breakfast was good. Loved the hard boiled eggs. Have a sugar free option of yogurt. Elevator did not work. From 4pm until after 8pm. We had to carry luggage up to 2nd floor. Staff did not offer to help. Maybe hire some temp valet staff?
- Nikitin (9/5): Loved it! Beautiful view, clean room, friendly staff - The room was clean and breakfast was great! Everything was as expected and we were astounded by the view. It really was gorgeous to look at. We wished we had more time to see the view! It took us some time to find staff to check in and out. The lobby was empty so people were working in their offices. If we had a bell to ring or something similar this could've made it go a bit faster, but when the staff did come out they were very friendly.
- Carol (10/5): We picked the perfect motel for comfort, river view and an easy drive to Fallingwater and Ohiopyle. - The view of the river from our room was beautiful! The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff members were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed walking along the river and a good dinner at the restaurant next door. We truly enjoyed our visit and look forward to staying there again. I’d appreciate more gluten free breakfast options. Better signage in Connellsville would have made the motel easier to find.
- Leo (9/5): Really enjoyed the stay!! - Great location Nothing
- Graciela (10/5): - Perfect spot to stop on the GAP. The room was big and beautiful. I will definitely stay here again
- Theresa (10/5): Great comfortable stay with delicious food and delicious views. - Loved the property for years. Enjoyed Rivers Edge for two delicious meals. So convenient that it’s right next door. Parking is always difficult.
- Stacy (10/5): - Excellent breakfast, great staff, awesome rooms.
- Meldrum (8/5): Pleasant. - Very clean The train tracks on the other side of the river were very busy. All night.
- laura (8/5): - Lovely setting on the river
- Cynthia (8/5): - Room clean and updated. Staff great. Noise from other rooms intrusive. Walls and floors very thin.
- Marcia (10/5): - Nice outdoor seating area with a view of the river. Staff was very helpful.
- Michael W (10/5): - Great for bike trips in the area
- Hagai (9/5): -
- Juliana (9/5): -
- Rearden (9/5): -
- Heiley (10/5): - מקום נקי יפה נחמד מסעדה ממש טובה קצת מרוחק מהכל אבל זה מה שחיפשנו.
היה מהמם. הרכבת עוברת בלילה אבל לא נורא.
- Mitchell (8/5): - My Comfort Inn roon was excellent except for the shower, which did not feel safe. They made no effort to make sure the shower floor was not slippery. I also thought the towels were thin and felt cheap.
Otherwise, I thought they had a great breakfast. The room was very comfortable and roomy.
- Tammy (8/5): - The room was clean, only thing that I really could say was wrong was they need to put handles in show so people could hold on to something getting in and out of shower
- Carey (9/5): -
- Benuska (6/5): -
- Robert (8/5): - everything was fine except for one service blip when we rudely told by a staff member to get our own pillows. we would have also appreciated an in-room list of ammenities available, such as the fact that there was a pool we weren't aware of. room was kept regularly clean. already expressed our thoughts to manager on-site.
- Sherene (10/5): -
- Don (10/5): - Chose the Comfort Inn because the B&B we booked was not available on Sunday night. Wish our entire stay had been at the Comfort Inn. It is much nicer than the B&B and more convenient to the GAP trail. We initially chose the B&B because we expected the Comfort Inn to be on a major highway and not convenient to the trail. In fact, the Comfort Inn is on a quiet street right across from the trail. It backs up to the river and has a nice patio with outdoor tables overlooking the river. It also has a bar in the lobby and a small restaurant right next door.
I would highly recommend the Comfort Inn at Connellsville over other options in the area.
- Nancy (9/5): -
- Wendy (8/5): - Clean room. Had a nice river view. Everyone friendly
- april (10/5): - Loved the river and the sitting area outside. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. There is a train track on the other side of the river, so you can hear the trains.
- Douglas (10/5): - We arrived very late and were treated with a smile and kind words by Trevor. I know his name because he was so professional I needed to know his name for a review. The room was great. We asked for a room with a view of the river. Which was amazing. The staff were all very friendly. The location of the hotel is awesome. The bicycle/walking trail and park with playground next to the hotel is a huge plus. We highly recommend this hotel for a time of rest and relaxation. We will be back!
- Laurie (8/5): - The hotel is very welcoming to us bicyclists! Nice to have a restaurant next door. But please get rid of your snack kiosk self pay system. It doesn’t work
- Stouder (8/5): - Nice restaurant next door. River view from lobby balcony Staff could not locate our reservation until I insisted on speaking to manager. I had confirmation number and all, but the receptionist was insistent that I had no reservation. They finally located it, but when we checked out, they refused to print out a receipt because we booked through a third party.
- Giancarlo (10/5): - .
- Regina (10/5): Wonderful getaway - Great atmosphere Nothing
- Mary Ann (10/5): -
- Meilssa (10/5): Pleasantly surprised - After a few hotel stays in the western PA area, I wasn't expecting too much. But wow! This place delivers. Great breakfast, clean rooms, comfy bed, awesome restaurant beside it. I just loved it. The river is the ultimate, providing a great way to walk out the door in the morning.
- Madison (10/5): - It was nice
