- Stefan (9/5): Cozy Ryokan right next to the big train station - The proprietress is a very kind lady. Despite the language barrier, she made sure to explain everything to me as best she could and even showed up at my doorstep right when it was time for breakfast to make sure I don't let it go cold. As for the breakfast, I had breakfast planned for 7 a.m. twice and both times there was already a tray there waiting for me at the designated time and the owner kept on bringing me bowls of food as they finished cooking until the whole table was full. Truly one of the best breakfast experiences I have ever bad, since I love having many different dishes on the table with a variety of flavors. The rooms have tatami mat flooring and futons, which is great. On the ground floor there is a miniature "sento" with 4 showering spaces and a bathing tub, which is freely accessible to anyone staying at mizuhokan. I used it late at night both times so didn't have to wait for anyone either. You would be hard pressed to find such an authentic Japanese style Ryokan for that price anywhere else and if you've always wanted to experience having a room with tatami floors and sleeping in a futon this is the place for you P.S. If you stay here anytime soon be sure to be patient with the proprietress as she has hurt her foot. This is not a downside as far as I am concerned, but you will have to take the stairs to get to your room so keep that in mind.

The landlady is quite elderly and can be a bit forgetful, so she might need a gentle reminder now and then, but you can truly feel her heartfelt hospitality.
- MIE (1/5): ガッカリしました。とても、残念です。 - なし 4時に到着したが、営業していないような感じで、電話してもダメで、とりあえずドアを開け声を掛けたら、「あら、もうこんな時間？」と、年配のずぼらな感じの女性が出てこられた。 入浴時間と食事時間を聞かれ、21時の入浴を頼みましたが、20時て良いですか??? 20時の入浴時間になり、「お風呂入りますね」と声をかけたら、「少し待って下さい、まだ用意してなかった。」と、入れず。 15分待たされ「ぬるかったら、お湯だしして温まって下さい。」の声 しかし、浴槽は水で、20分以上お湯たししたが、ぬるいまま、あきらめてシャワーで済ませた。 その旨、旅館の方に話しました。 朝食も、品数はありましたが、何点かラップがされた状態て、運んでこられた方は昨日の方で、マスクは汚れており、清潔感か見られず、食欲が出なかった。 旅館は、ひとりできりもりしてしているのでしょうか？

- Ryogo (8/5): 実家の安心感。 - 外宮参道からすぐで、レンタサイクルのCOGICOGIステーションも徒歩１分と、ロケーションがとにかく最高でした。 施設は古いので現代的な快適さを求める方には不向きかもしれませんが、なつかしさが感じられて私は気に入りました。 WiFiはサクサク繋がりました♪ 女将さんが気さくな方で、またお伊勢参りの機会があれば利用させていただきたいと思いました。 受付の呼び出しベルが壊れているのか、押してもなんの反応もありませんでした。 私の宿泊した部屋のドアは閉まりが悪く、カギをかけないと開いてしまいました。

- 石井 (1/5): 最悪な旅館 - 伊勢市駅と外宮は徒歩でも近かった。 お風呂場が、掃除をしてなくて前の人の歯ブラシ、タオル、紙コップがそのままの状態であった。 部屋も掃除機をかけていないのか、長い髪の毛が結構、落ちていた。 二度と泊まりたくない。
- Urooj (8/5): Cute little hotel - The room itself was spacious and clean. The bedding was also comfortable. The inn keeper is a very nice older lady who does everything she can to be helpful. The breakfast was really good as well! The bathroom as a whole was fairly clean but is really old and could use a remodel. We got a room with a private bathroom so at least we did not have to share it.

- Mamiko (7/5): 立地最高でも建物はレトロです - 外宮から近く近鉄伊勢駅からも近い。 瑞穂館の周りはお店が多いので近くで好きな物を食べれる。 お風呂が大きくてシャワーも水圧が強くて良かったです。バスタオルもお風呂場に沢山準備してあった。 スタッフの方々が親切です。 2階に宿泊したがWi-Fiが繋がらず１階の共有スペースでWi-Fiを利用していた。 宿の方にWi-Fiについて確認したら業者に相談しているが不具合が解消されないとの事でした。

- Thetravellingdragon (8/5): Ok and friendly - The location is ok. This place is run by very sweet and old ladies who do not speak English. Things van be chaotic. There is a communal (hinoki) hot tub but very small. What made the stay memorable was meeting people there and a very late night talk. And the breakfast was nice too and I will cherish the small goodbye gifts A few things but not enough to het worked up about.

- 19ChrisK (4/5): Quaint, traditional, spacious but very old accommodation with little sound isolation - My brother and I booked one night here the other week to see Ise Shrine. We left our bags and came back later in the day. The tatami room we shared was quite large but as soon as I lay out futon for a nap two Japanese college kids checked in right next to us and acted like frat boys on Spring Break. "Mecha mecha hiroii!!!". We could hear every exuberant word and utterance through the paper thin "wall" dividing our rooms. We were exhausted so rather than trying to deal with them or keep them quiet we decided to immediately check out and return to Nagoya proper, having already visited the shrine. The 90+ year-old ladies who run the place offered another room but we lost confidence it would be quiet enough, given the rowdy guests...and, surprisingly, they offered us an 80% refund.

- NONCHAN (2/5): 最悪の評価です - 部屋の清掃がされていない。前の客の女性の長い髪が何本も枕下とか畳に落ちていまいた。5.6本までわ拾いましたが馬鹿馬鹿しいのでやめました お茶を飲む時ポツトのお湯がぬるかつた。一番酷かったのわ 朝食でおかずの干物．玉子焼きの冷たいのわまだしも冷えたご飯にわ最悪でした。余程苦情を言おうと思いましたがnitro来ることわないのでやめました。この様なホテルを紹介しているエクスペディアは問題があります。

Expensive for what is on offer. Location good. One night in this city is quite sufficient unless you are hooked on shrines.
