• ahdan sepet (1/5): - nothing! all of it, 1st thing 1st when i reached the hotel room its have a lot of mosquito, i told the front desk it have secharge 200ribu which around 15sgd, its not worth it. i even bought my own mosquito equipment from alfamart. i have a daughter 4months old. we asked none smoking room. but the room smells cigarette its kinda weird. ive been alot of hotels in Indonesia bali surabaya. didn't encounter this kind of thing. this is my 1st and the last im staying here. please boycot this hotel thank you they will keep asking for money! no hospitality at all

• Hisham (8/5): Perfectly adequate accommodation. - We requested for close rooms and the hotel managed to provide us with adjoining rooms, so that was great. We also arrived slightly earlier (at about 10:45-11am), and were promptly processed for check-in, at no additional charge. The hotel was quite modern and the room was very nice and clean. The breakfast buffet was alright. Overall, a pretty decent stay here. The bathroom could be slightly better (i.e. cleaner). There were a number of moldy grout lines in the bathroom. Thankfully, the bathroom stalls (for both the shower and the toilet) were quite large/spacious. The drainage at the shower was also amazing. No water backed up during my showers there. Lastly, the location of the hotel is less than desirable when traveling to other spots. The upside is that the nights here are quiet. Also, you can just take Grab/Gojek everywhere for a few bucks, so overall, this might actually be a good thing, for some people.

There's a bathtub in the toilet.. clean and comfortable bed with sofa.. breakfast was good I don't like the aircon which is already controlled the temperature. I only can lower the fan mode or either off it...my TV is not working.. called the maintenance they fixed but still cannot watch any channel from the day we came till check out..that is the most disappointed. The little fridge also not working..

• SOH JOHNNY (8/5): Very satisfied - Rooms were very clean and comfortable I booked 3 rooms for my family but on different floors. My card key only allows to use the elevator to my floor level but not to the other levels where my family members are. So every time I want to visit my family members I have to get the help of the hotel staff to beam me up to the required level.

• ALFEAN REZMAN (4/5): Stay was fine until the Zumba session in Sunday morning at 0700am - Unacceptable! - Room was clean and facing the pool. But there are some stains on my bedsheets. Ask the HK to change to new ones. Staff name Irfan the shuttle driver was friendly and attentive. Breakfast spread was decent but acceptable. Imagine at 0700am there was a Zumba session in front of my room?!! I was like seriously??? i am travelling with my 4-year-old daughter who is sleeping was disturb by these unacceptable activities during the weekend. I came down and ask the reception, and they said it is their weekend activities which i was not being told when i check in. Honestly loud music in the early Sunday morning you guys should look into it. And one more thing, i was given a late check out at 2pm as compensation for the noise issue but the hotel staffs keep calling my room through phone and again 1 staff knocking to my door requesting what time i going to check out??! I was like annoying and by 1pm i check out from the room. This is a terrible communication from the staffs and guests. I really annoyed and definitely will not stay again in IBIS Batam!

• KKD0607 (7/5): Comfortable and clean modern hotel near Nagoya area - Its a new hotel, so the rooms and facilities are quite modern and clean. I took the suite room with balcony, which was really lovely. Great space and tasteful furnishing, more importantly the hotel is not in a crowded area so relatively peaceful at night. Easy to commute to malls, restaurants, clubs by taxi from the location. Breakfast choices were also decent and overall good value. They are quite slow during the check-in process, in spite of me doing an online form prior arriving at the hotel via the Accor website to speed up this very process. Room took almost an hour to get ready after I arrived at the hotel, so had to wait at reception. Otherwise no other complaints.

Lift hv difficulty to scan the key tag, sensor issue.Towel is not soft and sorry the toilet should hv privacy, not open concept, no latch, no sliding door for our room.

• Abu Faiz (9/5): 4 days 3 nights @ IBIS - The family room was big and has a huge balcony. The swimming pool was clean and Gym was simple yet enough. The bed was comfortable and clean. AC and mini fridge was working well. The room smells fresh and they did daily makeup. The bathroom was big and included toothbrushes,comb,shaver, earbuds and hairdryer. Me and my family rate the breakfast 8/10. Meet our breakfast requirement. The lobby could be a bit lively with music. Rooms facing the main road have to deal with traffic sound which is overwhelming at night when your trying to sleep. Bring ear plugs for better sleep. Staff seem to be new or an intern especially at the lobby. They seem to be awkward and not sure what to do. But they are friendly nonetheless, if ask for help they do assist.

• Alvin (6/5): Affordable stay but location and sound proofing is not ideal - The family suite was really spacious It was really noisy as the hotel is next to a main road and poor sound insulation from the balcony. No other amenities nearby as well.

However, the room was only average, there are stains/ residues left on the toilet wall (where the hair dryer was), and also on the mirror partition facing the room. The towels are very worn, the bed creaks, and you can hear almost everything that's happening outside your room and even above you - people talking loudly, closing of doors, dragging, stomping sounds from the room above.

Almost all power socket unable to use as cannot plug in properly. I called and they send adaptor. Bfast is not so good, too salty and very few choices. But considered ok for the price. No convenient store nearby. Overall, still consider ok for the price I paid
