• Malin (7/5): Cheap, and you get a safe space to sleep during the night. Easy access to most destinations. - I went with the expectations that it was a cheap boarding house for travelers, and at least expected the facilities to be clean and the facility to be quiet at night. I rented a room, and there was enough space to walk and manage my bagage without any problems. Everything was within walking distance. The walls are thin enough to hear others breathe, and there sadly was a traveler that decided to talk loudly on the phone from around 18-22, then 7am untill I left for the days adventures.

• Jeroen (8/5): - Such a cozy, homey vibe. The atmosphere is calm and laid-back, making it easy to unwind. The host is incredibly kind and welcoming, which really completes the experience. Definitely a spot I’d come back to!
• Parker (9/5): 1 night in Kamakura after a 3 month visit that ended sadly, it was an area of decoupling. - The location is very good, the staff were nice, the common area is there living area so that was interesting. If I were staying longer I could say something about the kitchen, at appearances it looks fully functional and there is a full large fridge that is for the guests. The only negative is that the bathrooms are kind of small, I am larger in height and shoulder width than Japanese people so it was quite tight. The chair in the room is not that comfortable, but it is not that big of a deal.

• Yohko (8/5): ベストコスパ - 「ビジホ程の設備は要らんけどドミトリーはちょっと」となっていた自分にとってはめちゃフィットした宿だった ・この価格で個室、鍵も勿論かかる ・駅からも海からも（割と）近い ・歯ブラシ以外のアメニティは持参しなくても何とかなる ・客室フロアはちゃんと静か ・浴槽のあるバスルームがある ・チェックインの時間さえ守ればあとはほぼ自由 ・調理用具豊富 確かに玄関がリビングルーム直結で常連が集っていることがあるので慣れないとギョッとするかもしれないが、そこは向こうも心得たものでビジターであるこちらのことはいい意味で放っておいてくれる。オーナーも過度にグイグイこず、かつ親切でありがたかった 人を選ぶのかもしれないが自分にとっては大変居心地のよい宿でした。また利用したい 皆が指摘してますが、やっぱりシャワールームの床はちょっとギョッとします。シャンプーの類を壁掛けにして防カビ燻煙するだけでだいぶ印象変わるんじゃないでしょうか あとテラスも、あとちょっと片付けるだけでもっと良くなると思います。まぁあれが宿の持ち味といえばそうなのでしょうが いずれも良かった点に比べ些細なことなので「敢えて言うなら」という程度のことです

• Jason P Irish (7/5): God for a few days at the beach! - The location to the beach is very nice and it has a relaxed vibe for backpackers. Lawson store right near by and kitchen available for use. It is summer! A lot of drunk tourists in the place utilizing the few bathrooms for vomitting and very noisy. The small common area and outdoor patio really should be tidied up and more welcoming.

Used toothbrushes everywhere, refrigerator is dirty, sink is full of rinsed food. It smells old, damp and like dirty laundry. Management of this hotel is doing a terrible job. It's not worth the price.

I totally recommend also for the position: 10mins walking from the station, 10mins from the Buddha and 3mins from a beautiful beach. Room was clean and comfortable.💓

• Verified traveler (8/5): 鎌倉駅に近く快適 - 鎌倉駅まで15分ほどの徒歩圏内で便利です。シャワーは共用と聞いていたので、行ってみたかった稲村ヶ崎温泉に入りホテルは眠るだけでした。テレビはないですが疲れていたのでよく眠れました。静かで快適てした。飲み物お湯は一階キッチンにありますが部屋が3階階段のみでしたので何も使用しませんでした。また機会があれび泊まります。

• Crabson (1/5): Horrendous - The room was clean. The hotel was very untidy. When I entered the hotel, I thought that I accidentally walked into some people's house. The foyer (actually a kitchen + living room) is littered with clothes and some other stuff. The shelves were full of shoes, and by the layer of dust on them it's clear they weren't from the visitors. Some people were sitting on couch and watching TV. They just gave me a look and kept doing what they did. I said I need to check in. Some teenage girl, said okay, found me the keys to the room. When I went to have a shower I passed by the kitched and noticed that it was full of rubbish, some scattered clothes, someone's underpants lying on the extra sink. The main sink was filled with unwashed dishes and cups and striner full of food waste. In the shower there was a many many bottles with toiletries that were presumably left by previous visitors. Also, someone's wet swimming suit was lying on the bathtub corner. In the morning there was some person sleeping in the living room. The staircase walls were covered with stickers and notes and some thsirts which - it all shouldn't be there for fire safety. The sink on my floor had some random toothbrush sitting there and... pieces if charcoal in a glass.

• Fima (7/5): Good - Great location The family who owns the property also lives there. The lobby is their living room and they either don’t know how to put things away or do not have space for things. Very clutter space. They store laundry in the hallways! But the room was great.

This left us in a difficult situation. We feel we have been scammed and left stranded. Our refund has still not been processed. We receive vague and delaying responses to our messages after 5 hours. We are guests in your country. Please consider how you would feel if you were in our position. We urgently request that you resolve this situation properly. Before we arrived at the hotel, we received a message stating that the room we had booked had been given to someone else. They offered us a smaller room or a refund. This left us in a difficult situation. We feel we have been scammed and left stranded. Our refund has still not been processed. We receive vague and delaying responses to our messages after 5 hours. We are guests in your country. Please consider how you would feel if you were in our position. We urgently request that you resolve this situation properly.
• Marcello (1/5): Bad - Nothing It shouldn't be advertised. It's really bad. They get lucky because young guys are ok with the price. Everything in that place is sad. A real sense of poverty. As you step inside the place, you think straight away what the f..... washing machines area, room inside, external area ( entertaining area) bad. It's not me to score so bad, but someone should stop this kind of place to be open.
• Robert (10/5): Great location walking distance from the train and very near the beach, with wonderful staff - Excellent location, very comfortable private room, nice shower. The staff was super helpful, from check-in through suggestions and assistance during my stay. A short walk from the beach, nearby convenience store, nice cafes a short distance west along the beach. This is actually Booking.com's problem: I think they're listed twice. If your reservation fails, try again, I seem to have first made a reservation with the listing that doesn't work, then ended up with two reservations without realizing it. The staff quickly fixed that when I arrived.
• Sharniethy (10/5): - So many thing about this place is worth it because the owner is easy going and understand many languages the family in the house are comforting and respectful I walked the area every spot was pretty close and the neighborhood was very nice and you get almost a beach view definitely worth the night being there

• Emma (9/5): Great - The room and bed were comfortable, the location was perfect for exploring Kamakura, the showers were good and clean, and we got to meet all kinds of nice people! There is even a washer and dryer. It was a bit noisy at night, but the staff can provide earplugs if you ask.

• Lorraine (10/5): I loved this place! - This is a great place, close to the beach, close to Daibutsu Buddha, I’ll definitely stay again if I’m ever in Kamakura. The bed was big and comfy. The shampoo and body wash was lovely lemongrass. Lots of good places to eat closeby. There are bikes and surfboards if you need to use one. Thank you for everything!

• Rebecca (5/5): Passable - The host was kind. The kid at the property was sweet The space felt family owned. The location is great. The beds and pillows are comfortable. I paid extra for a doble bed and received a doble bed small. Too small for my husband and I which led us to book a second room (doble bed small) and this time we received a regular doble bed. I was told I would receive a refund for the extra room but am still waiting. You could hear the washer or shower at night from the second floor. Not to bad but would be disturbing for a light sleeper.

• SEBASTIEN (6/5): - Comme indiqué, il s’agit d’une maison d’hôtes avec toilettes et douche partagés. Ne vous attendez pas à de grands espaces. Les chambres sont minimalistes (un lit, une petite table, un portant et certes la climatisation). Les espaces communs sont réduits à peu et encombrés. Impossible d’être à plusieurs (boys étions 5) autour d’une table ou sur la toute petite terrasse. Déçus par rapport à l’annonce.

The place is very close to the beach and all attractions of the town are in easy walkable distance. Very good value for money. My room was a bit stuffy, but maybe I just got unlucky with the corner room hit by the sun.

• Menno (7/5): Fine for a budget stay for a night or three - Close to the Daibutsu and Hasedera. Not to far from the station. Small room but had everything that I wanted / needed. would come here again. close to the beach and shopping area. Living room was a bit to small and decorated a bit to comfortable. Felt like I walked into someone's house rather than a Hostel. But it is a guesthouse so it was fine. No pets and the kitchen is very limited.

• Miwa (10/5): Wonderful place to walk around Kamakura, if you like walking🚶‍♀️ - I could easily go Hase temple, Kamakura D aibutsu, Tsuruoka Hachimangu Shrine, vegetable market, nostalgic shopping streets, etc. even by walking. In my room, the chair was a bit big and made me stuck before I reach the closet. As interior, I like the chair but a bit hard to work some hours continuously. Eventually, I moved things and used the bed as chair.

• Eric (8/5): A small but very nice guest house - A nice little guest house, with everything you need for a few nights of stay: A comfy bed, toilet and a shower (and a coin laundry). Allthough all anemities are shared with others, it was never crowded, so you can easily do what you need to do in your own time. The staff was also helpful with anything I needed. Hot tip: Bring your ear plugs, as there are som reccuring noices outside (and a screaming child from within). A good nice stay overall.

• Verified traveler (2/5): 私のベッドだけ？ - 友人と一泊しました。宿泊したベッドの状態が悪く、腰が痛くなり、ほとんど眠れませんでした。 マットレスを二つ、平行に並べてあり、腰の部分に隙間ができている状況でした。 他の部屋に泊まったオーストラリア人の友人は、ベッドがきちんとしていて、良く眠れたそうです。
