- Oscar/Mariel (8/5): - Our room was spacious and clean. The staff was very accommodating and hospitable. My only complaint is that the hotel lacks a front desk staff. We checked in with the housekeeper because there was no one working the front desk. The hotel has no staff available until late in the evening. It is helpful to have a front desk staff 24 hours to accommodate all the guests. Several times we were going out and found people outside waiting for someone to open the door. This is not good business practice.

Algo en lo que les hace falta mejorar es la limpieza de la habitaciónes, cuando llegamos había basura en uno de lo cajones y jabón abierto en la regadera.

- I.S. (2/5): - I would give this place a 0 if I could. They cancelled our reservation at the last minute and failed to let us know. We showed up at the hotel, after dark, but well before the end of check-in time and they told us that they gave our room to someone else. The poor guy at the desk was trying to be helpful but management would not get involved. Worse yet, the did not refund our money. So they left us in centre of the old city, with no room, yet they still took our money. Luckily, Expedia protected us, and paid for a very nice room in Bocagrande. Not the location we chose, but we were able to have a great trip. I have travelled extensively in Latin America and generally chose boutique hotels. This was the first time in my travels that I have been ripped off significantly. If it wasn't for Expedia this trip would have cost me about 5x over budget and I might have been left in the middle of Cartagena without a place to sleep. Just to review. They gave our room to someone else, who offered more money, did not refund us for the money we had spent months ago to book the room. Also, management disappeared and allowed a young man to deal with us. I did feel bad for the service staff as this was not their fault. There are plenty of great hotels in this amazing city. Pick another one. Unless you want to pay for a room you don't use
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This hotel was almost perfect in every way. The staff was friendly and attentive. The rooms were nice and clean. It’s on a very beautiful street and has a nice pool as well. The only reason I gave it less than 5 stars was because the WiFi went down and wasn’t fixed for 3 days. As a foreigner, I used the WiFi to FaceTime audio my family and I had to go out places and spend money in order to talk to them when it went down. Besides that, it was excellent! I will definitely be staying here again!

- Rob (6/5): - It was an OK property. Nice location. No hot water and the shower had no pressure. Breakfast was nothing special with very limited choices. I had booked the hotel car to pick us up from the airport. We waited for good half hour and finally a guy with a young kid showed up in a very run down car that was parked a block away. I would not recommend this property.
- Verified traveler (6/5): NEED IMPROVEMENTS - To be a Boutique Hotel you have to separate your self from other you have to be unique, The room was not ready when arrived , no toilet paper no shampoo . I reported a water leak by the light in the bathroom and was never repaired. The right privacy blind up and down mechanism was broken. The breakfast was simple and not boutiqueky enough. They need a lot of help and improvements to be call Hotel Boutique. THE ONLY GREAT THING WAS THE PRIVACY AND THE LOCATION WAS FABULOUS.

De la habitación no me gustó el sanitario poque tenía problemas y no lo solucionaron. El desayuno muy pobre y no está acorde al hotel ni al lugar donde este se encuentra. El personal bastante bien. Regresaría si mejoran sustancialmente el desayuno y mejoran el sanitario.

This happened to ALL the other guests so it’s clearly a scam the hotel do. Rooms smell mouldy, pool is not a pool it’s a pond not for swimming, air conditioner doesn’t work, desk never attended, breakfast ran out every morning. Better stay somewhere else

- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful boutique hotel - Our reservation confirmation stated that we had a private balcony included with our room which was not the case; however, the pool and rooftop areas were quaint and relaxing. We had to wait a while to check in and to have the safe fixed, but it wasn't a big deal and the service otherwise was outstanding. Noise travels easily, but par for the course with the area. I'd recommend this hotel, it's adorable! The location was excellent (close enough to everything yet out of the super crazy busy spots), the rooms were nice and clean, and breakfast was delicious. We would stay again!

- William (8/5): Nice boutique hotel. - This is a great little hotel. Very friendly staff and a great location. They only speak Spanish so have translate ready if you do not hablo Espanol. The pool is tiny and out of order when I was there but I did not plan on using it anauway. Unfortunately they overbooked and I was told that despite having a guaranteed reservation through hotels.com I would have to move to another hotel. I am unsure if this is a problem with their booking system or hotels.com. This is why they only get 4 stars from me. I really wanted to stay.

If you like some space, the Superior room is the way to go. The pool is tiny and really just decorative. The hotel is in an excellent location in Getsemani, close to everything but on a quieter street.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Small boutique hotel with only four rooms. Hotel is very nice, large, pleasant rooms and 24 hour front desk with friendly staff. Each room has a table and chairs just outside so you can sit outside your room. Breakfast is served at the table outside your room. There is also a roof top terrace where you can sit in the sun and admire the views. Location is great, 2 mins walk to nice bars and restaurants on the plaza and only 10 mins walk to the old town inside the city walls. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and thought the hotel was good value for money. We spent one night away from the hotel to go to Playa Blanca and they happily stored our luggage without charge. The only downside is the pool which is very small, shallow and right by reception and the kitchen hence is more of a water feature - we did not use it and I doubt anyone else would either. Also, breakfast has to be ordered the night before so you chose between three options (Caribbean, American or Light) and specify a time. While breakfast was nice, it tended to be served when they felt like it rather than the time you specified. One day it came 30 mins early which was no problem, but on our last day we ordered it for 8am as we had to leave at 8.30am to go the airport. Needless to say that despite making it clear we had to leave our breakfast was not ready before 8.30am so we ended up leaving without being fed which was a bit annoying.
