Guest Reviews
- Amy (10/5): - Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a variety of options: eggs, bacon, pastries, nuts and fruits. Location was central to the major sites in Siena. I would stay there again when visiting Siena.
- Diane (10/5): - Excellent staff!
- Todd (10/5): - Staff was lovely and super helpful. Room was stunning.
- John (10/5): - The
- Richard (10/5): - Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful
- Michelle (10/5): - Great set up and beautiful rooms. The complimentary breakfast on the terrace makes for a very nice way to start your day !
- Shane (10/5): - Beautiful place to stay in Siena. The location is perfect and the hotel is great. Our room was very spacious and the breakfast was top notch. Thank you to all the wonderful staff! Would definitely stay here again!
- pizzaandsushi2018 (10/5): Wonderful boutique hotel just steps from the Piazza - We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful boutique hotel in June 2025. Our room was beautifully-appointed and huge (and not just by European standards)! Every room is distinctly different and the charming premises themselves are the antithesis of North American cookie-cutter hotel chains. The breakfasts were outstanding and the entire staff was friendly, helpful and pleasure to interact with. Particular thanks to Giulia and Mikaela for being so helpful. We hope to cross paths again one day. Gina & Ed.
- Reyna (10/5): - The staff was absolutely amazing!!! The hotel was stunning! I wish I could have stayed longer
- ADELINE YUEN HENG (6/5): - The furniture and facilities are quite dated, air con very weak. In fact, it was broken on our first night, and with the heat in Siena, our room was literally like an oven and my kids find it hard to sleep and rest at night. The staff made attempts to fix but not successful. Second, there was a flight of around 10 stairs up to our room. We were not aware of this because we saw the facility has elevator, making lugging suitcases a challenge (with my injured shoulder and my daughter’s injured ankle). The breakfast was simple and nice. Location is convenient close to many cafes and shops within 5-10mins walk. Overall, our experience with this hotel was average.
- Quintin (10/5): Delightful stay - Delightful staff and a charming hotel in a typically traditional Italian style. Breakfast was good and the room was clean, well airconditioned and well insulated from noise.
- KirklandMom3 (10/5): BEST Hotel in Siena - Our second time staying with these wonderful folks! If you are traveling to Siena, I implore you to stay at Relais Degli Angeli! It is the most beautiful boutique hotel, situated just minutes to the Campo, and everything you need in Siena. It is run by women--all of which are beyond kind, helpful, talented, and amazing (BIG shout out to Julia this trip..you saved us!). Their breakfast is easily one of the best we've experienced at a hotel in Italy--all of it made in-house. The rooms are each named after a gemstone, and we were blown away at ours. It was stunning. The beds are big and comfortable. The walk-in closet was enormous. The bathroom had a jetted tub, large shower with 5 shower nozzles, and a double sink. We didn't want to leave!
Grazie mille, Relais. Ciao, stare bene.
- KellyBoy309 (10/5): Hidden Gem - Just a wonderful gem in central Siena. Room was beautiful and tastefully appointed. Ceiling mural was breathtaking. Our bath was updated and modern. Breakfast was delightful. Service was great and staff was attentive and friendly. Wouldn’t change a thing!
- Passenger830604 (10/5): Lovely, lively place - This was an unusual place to stay in - the staff leaves by 8 pm and returns early in the morning. However, they make sure you don't need any thing in their absence and there's a sister hotel close by that one can contact in case anything's needed.
The reception area and room were both very cosy. Our room led to a common balcony and we felt like we had the entire place to ourselves in the evenings. The room was very clean and comfortable and surprisingly quiet despite overlooking the bus stop below and adjoining the reception. The staff were very friendly and we loved some of their restaurant recommendations. Everything to see in Siena was a short walk. We walked up from the station and it was easy to locate the place.
The breakfast was fresh and delicious.
- N2156YEjanec (10/5): Beautiful, generous hospitality in Siena - We stayed in the Rubino room and enjoyed the super comfortable bed with lovely pillows and fresh crisp linen. It is a beautiful, generous and relaxing space and provided the perfect base for our trip to Siena. We were there 6 days so wanted somewhere a little more spacious and comfortable than just a place to sleep. The reception staff were all outstanding in their help in advice for restaurants and a trip into the countryside for some sight seeing and wine tasting. Breakfast was a great spread of sweet and savoury including some gluten free products. Thank you everyone for our happy holiday!
- 448murrayg (10/5): Excellent small luxury hotel - We had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful hotel the end of April/first of May with another couple. This small quaint hotel is in the heart of Sienna within walking distance of all amenities and tourist sites.
The hotel was clean, spacious, and the breakfast was very nice with personal touches that the staff offered. Julia at reception, was pleasant and very helpful when we asked about local attractions, and when we needed a car service to get to our next destination.
We loved this place and would recommend for anyone to give it a try if you are planning a trip to Sienna.
We would definitely return if we go to Sienna again!
- jaynills (6/5): Not a favorite. - This place gets outstanding reviews so we were a bit surprised with the staff , accommodations, and amenities. In the room no luxury shampoo or soaps, no coffee, and 2 small plastic cups. Beautiful marble everywhere but our room looked right at the bus station and the furniture is dated and worn. The elevator stopped between floors, so you had to walk up approximately 8 steps to get to it. At night reception was closed and you were given another hotel to call if you needed someone. The staff were fine, but not really friendly and when we went down to get coffee we were told it was not time for breakfast ( we only wanted coffee and cream) . Great location! Definitely not a favorite of ours.
- nancyolah (10/5): Excellent value for a beautiful property in a great location - My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Design Suite on the top floor of this lovely boutique property. Although the elevator, as noted is tiny, we managed to get our bags up and then walked the additional flight of stairs to the top floor. The Design Suite was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with ample closet space and a huge marble bathroom with dual sinks and plenty of space to store our things.
We loved the included breakfast every morning on the second floor and especially enjoyed our conversations with Maria, a lovely woman originally from the Philippines who has lived in Siena for many years and who cooked and served us coffee and juice. All of the staff members are women (one of them told me they had “potare delle raggaze” (roughly translated, “girl power”) and we found them all to be cordial and helpful.
Since the hotel is within the walls of the medieval city of Siena, we were initially concerned that it might be difficult to have our car in “Mr. Donato’s garage”, but they brought the car within about 20 minutes whenever we wanted to use it. The cost was 35 euros per night, which we thought was a very fair price.
We found this to be an excellent property at a reasonable price and highly recommend it for a visit to Siena.
- Michele (8/5): - The room was really well adorned and quite roomy. The bathroom and shower were huge which is great after a long day of travelling. Would stay there again.
- Stephan (10/5): - This hotel is an absolute gem. They likely don’t need another glowing review, but I’ll happily give one. In addition to being perfectly situated—just distant enough from the throngs but still very, very close to everything—it’s gorgeous inside, with tons of old world charm, along with all the modern conveniences. The staff were so wonderful, making me reservations at two of the most incredible restaurants in town. Can’t recommend highly enough.
- sienapj (10/5): WE WOULD NOT THINK OF STAYING ANYWHERE ELSE - Since our first unforgettable stay at Relais degli Angeli in 2019 , we have happily returned every year to this lovely boutique hotel .A former noble palace , Relais degli Angeli has been carefully & lovingly restored . The website has great information and photos that I found to be very helpful . The location of the hotel allows for an easy walk to the many historic sites. Piazza Gramsci bus station is very close by making it a little over an hour trip from Florence .A huge thank you to Giulia, Federica, Flaminia , & Valentina the "Angels " of Relais degli Angeli . I do not say that lightly ! They are all professional, welcoming , dedicated , attentive , diligent & make their guests comfort a top priority . My husband & I especially enjoy the serene & relaxing atmosphere throughout Relais degli Angeli that results from the expert management . We know that whatever we may need will be taken care of efficiently : answering my emails, arranging our transfer from the airport , restaurant reservations , mapping out directions ,calling for taxis , laundry service & more . Our favorite Zaffiro ( sapphire ) Deluxe Room was reserved for us as we requested. The layout suits us perfectly . After entering there is a hallway with a big wardrobe , another closet with drawers , & also a minifridge . Off to the right is a white Calacatta marble bathroom that is simply exquisite ! The shower is large , & the water pressure is excellent . The heated towel rack was especially appreciated in the winter .The vanity has two sinks & more storage space underneath where thick cozy robes and slippers can be found . There is plenty of room in the tastefully decorated bedroom . The bed is made up with the softest linens , & we always sleep well. There are common rooms on each floor where you can sit &relax if you so choose, & all are beautifully furnished . Wherever you go in Relais degli Angeli you will find the rooms to be simply stunning ! An extra big thank you to Daniela who made sure the Zaffiro Deluxe Room was immaculate the entire week ! We appreciated finding everything in perfect order when we returned each afternoon Breakfast ( included ) is definitely a highlight for us ! So much care & attention is taken in the arrangement and presentation . The tables are set with lovely china & linens making the dining room even more elegant . In warmer weather , we like to enjoy breakfast on the large terrace that has views of Basilica San Domenico & the Medici Fortress. The tables and buffet are laden with a great variety including the most scrumptious pastries from their own bakery , fresh fruit, yogurt, meats , cheeses , cereals, mini sandwiches, scrambled eggs , bacon & more . Everything is fresh & delicious ! Our cappuccino and double esprseso with hot milk are perfectly prepared and brought to our table. , I can't describe how relaxing and wonderful it is to linger over breakfast in the beautiful & quiet dining room . I can never say thank you enough to Giulia, Federica, Flaminia, Valentina & Daniela for our fabulous week at Relais degli Angeli . We have already made a reservation for our next stay . We would not think of ever staying anywhere else ! Grazie mille Peggy & from George too
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great
- AndreaF_11 (10/5): Location, service and careful decoration - The Relais is a lovely boutique hotel. Every detail reveals the care-and may I say the love- taken in decoration.
Location is at walking distance from every interesting place in Siena and if we had had more attention we could have walked from the bus station. We discovered afterwards that it was not so far away. When we left Siena we rented a car: Parking service provided by the hotel (though you pay them, not the Relais) was quite good.
We arrived earlier than check in time and we left our luggage- without any trouble- in the sitting room .
Check in was easy and though it is true that the elevator is tiny, we had no problem with it.
Room was quite spacious, and had a workspace. As an avid reader, I would suggest a more powerful nightstand. The bathroom has two compartments:one has a shower, a sink and a large mirror. The other The toilet bowl and also a sink. Both are very modern, clean and practical. Many amenities and clean , thick towells provided.
Breakfast is good enough though I would like to have more fruits, but perhaps it is because I love having many fruits during the early morning. Orange juice came fresh from the kitchen, as did the requested infusion.
Last but not least, Federica -I believe this was the name- was not only kind and friendly but very helpful. She helped us with many directions and gave us a list of restaurants to choose with details of distance from the hotel. Useful!!!
Location was quite convenient to walk during the night and to go to diner and come back.
At night, Relais provides you a key and a password so you can arrive as late as you like.
In short words: a lovely place in a lovely medieval city. Very helpful and friendly staff.
- Catherine (10/5): - Excellent location, great staff and lovely, clean rooms. Highly recommend for your stay in Siena!
- carolhT8071FR (10/5): Beautiful small boutique hotel in great location - Very beautiful small boutique hotel very close to all the main attractions in Siena. The room was spacious, clean, and luxurious and there was a very comfortable and inviting shared sitting room on each floor. Breakfast was a generous buffet. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The only negative was that our room overlooked a central bus station with associated noise fairly late into the night. Perhaps rooms toward the back of the hotel might have been a little quieter. Still, would definitely stay here again!
- WahooWillie (10/5): Absolutely Beautiful Bouquet Hotel ❤️ - My wife and I stayed at this beautiful boutique hotel for 10 days over Christmas and couldn’t have picked a better hotel! Everything about this very unique boutique hotel is wonderful, from the gorgeous accommodations, the great location, the very tasty breakfasts to the amazing staff, especially sweet Valentina🤗 who was so helpful to us when we first arrived. We stayed in the “Diamond” Suite on the 6th floor (actually not the 6th floor, but that’s the button you push! They bought the elevator used from a place that had a 6th floor😂) that is absolutely huge! It has a private sitting/dining room, a huge bedroom with a Queen size bed and very comfortable mattress and as many pillows as you want, a huge bathroom with 2 separate vanities, a big oval jetted bathtub, private toilet and bidet room and a shower that at least 4’ X 6’ with 4 side shower heads, a big overhead shower head, and a hand held shower wand! Both toilet and shower are all completely marble! The ceilings are all frescoes too! Huge closet with tons of space and a safe! There’s 2 TV’s and art work everywhere! Also beautiful sets of draws for clothing all over!
It’s absolutely an amazing suite! Please go to their web site for all the photo’s because my pictures wouldn’t do it justice!
If your looking for a beautiful unique setting in the old section of Siena, look no further than Realis degli Angeli ❤️ Now if your looking for a Fancy 5 star hotel with bellmen and a fancy restaurant, this many not be it. The elevator is tiny, like only room for 2 people or 1 and a suitcase at a time! And there are a few stairs (about 5) between where the elevator stops and your room and the reception/breakfast area, but nothing to stop someone other than those who might be severely mobility challenged or wheelchair bound. I forgot to mention we have our own private balcony that we decorated for Christmas 🎄🎅
- Christopher (10/5): - We loved our stay at Relais degli Angeli. The hotel is located within easy walking distance to shopping and restaurants, and less than ten minutes away from the Piazza del Campo. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast options include wonderful coffee, fruit, meats, eggs, croissants, and more. We will definitely stay here again.
- Meredith100 (10/5): Small boutique hotel in the heart of Siena - This small boutique hotel offers beautiful and spacious rooms. The hotel is a 5 minute walk off the super-impressive piazza del campo. Staff was friendly and breakfast was nice. The only little drawback is that the elevator does not stop on every floor (the old palazzo was not built for this!), i.e. suit cases had to be lifted a few steps.
- James (10/5): Relai degli Angeli for the win - Relais Degli Angeli is a beautiful hotel. We booked the Design Suite, which was the perfect size for my wife, toddler, and me.
- ArtsyGalBaltimore (8/5): Lovely Boutique Hotel in Siena: Relais degli Angeli - Lovely two nights stay in this boutique hotel, a short walk to the major sites in Siena. Center Siena and hotel a bit of a hike from train station. Reception on the second floor (elevator). Rooms good sized and comfortable bedding and shower (two dials one for spray and the other for temperature) separate from toilet/bidet. Many different light switches. Small refrigerator, no kettle but coffee available on second floor 24 hours. Very professional staff, helpful with making arrangements. Outstanding breakfast with many choices in a fine setting on the second floor. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Sixth floor room in November a bit warm. Room as depicted in hotel photos.
- Sonia (10/5): - Great location!
- Dina (10/5): - This boutique hotel is a gem and I can honestly say the photos online don’t do it justice. It’s stunning. We booked the Diamond “Diamante” suite and it’s just gorgeous and very spacious. The decor is amazing, including the painted ceiling. The location is very central and we could easily get around Siena. The breakfast was lovely and included in our stay. The staff at the reception were very friendly and accommodating. They reached out 2 weeks before our arrival to explain the parking situation since we had a rental. They were also very responsive the few times that I reached out with questions. We would highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a place to stay in Siena.
A few minor things to note - they do turn off the AC in Nov because of the winter season, but they can provide fans if you ask. Also they have limited staff, so no bell hops etc. it’s truly a boutique hotel and a wonderful place to stay.
- sienapj (10/5): PERFECTION ! - Relais degli Angeli , an ancient noble palace that is now a boutique hotel , radiates luxury, timeless elegance, & charm throughout the grand building. Every year since 2019 , my husband & I have had the pleasure of being guests at Relais degli Angeli. A special thank you to Federica, Giulia & Petra who always make us feel welcome & very much at home .Their top priority is making sure their guests are enjoying a wonderful stay .Our week with them was nothing short of perfection ! Their attentive & expert management creates a relaxing & very tranquil atmosphere that we especially enjoy. Petra, Federica, & Giulia were available to answer any questions , to arrange taxis, laundry service, restaurant reservations, help with directions,& whatever we needed during the entire week. We appreciated Giulia , Petra & Federica's thoughtfulness and care . Each year we have reserved the Zaffiro ( Sapphire ) Deluxe room , and it truly is a gem ! As you enter the Zaffiro Deluxe room, there is a hallway with a big closet and plenty of drawer space in another closet. This is a feature that we like , since it helps us avoid cluttering up the bedroom . Off to the right is a gorgeous Calacatta marble bathroom that has a large shower with great water pressure . Cabinets under the double sinks provide more storage . Opening in the ancient tower , the bedroom is spacious, tastefully decorated with refined furniture . There is an exquisite chandelier that hangs from the frescoed ceiling . The very comfortable bed is made up with lovely linens , perfect for a good night's sleep .The rooms were immaculate every day, & thank you to Daniela, Maria, & Valbona for their excellent care ! Breakfast is outstanding and included . Set up in the elegant dining room or on the large terrace weather permitting . We would awake each morning to the heavenly aroma of freshly baked pastries from their own bakery . The buffet was meticulously arranged with a variety of delicious pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon , yogurts, mini sandwiches , meats , cheeses, cereals and fresh fruit to name some ! Water, fruit juices, teas and of course coffee are available too. We were so happy to see Mary ! She lights up the room with her sweet personality .Mary always remembers how we prefer our coffee and prepares it perfectly for us .Giulia, Petra & Federica also helped out as needed too . We felt so spoiled by all of them ! Enjoying a leisurely and delicious breakfast was the most relaxing way to start each day . We definitely enjoyed every single moment we were at Relais degli Angeli & have already booked our 7th stay . To sum it all up , I would describe staying here with one word....PERFECTION ! Grazie mille to all from both of us,& we will see you soon ! Peggy & George
- Jessica (10/5): - This place was incredible! The rooms were stunning, clean and so spacious. The staff were so kind and even prepared us a boxed breakfast for us the night before we had 2 early morning day trips and tours. Overall such a pleasant stay and I’m sad we didn’t get to stay there longer.
- Christopher (6/5): - Great property and lovely staff but our room had only small windows onto an internal shaft so no day light. Shame as otherwise lovely hotel. Check the details of your room!
- Richard (10/5): Siena... - Loved the hotel! Right in the middle of Siena, great view, excellent service, very clean, wonderful breakfast on the veranda, and so much more . . .
- Emma (10/5): - An amazing gem of a hotel. Great location and well appointed rooms and lovely rooftop breakfast area!
- travlanytm (10/5): Great location and customer service! - We stayed here 1 night and had 2 rooms. One was the apartment. This is a quaint hotel in heart of Siena. Booking was easy, and communication was great. We had to make some last minute changes and it was seamless. They helped arrange transportation and anything else we needed. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. Huge closet. Bathroom nice size and well appointed. Breakfast was lovely on the terrace. We would not hesitate to stay again and will try to return to Siena again to spend more time!!! Thank you!
- Fernaker (8/5): A pleasant stay in a beautiful city - Room was spacious and clean with beautiful painted ceiling. Very central. Breakfast was good and the staff friendly. A good choice for a bed and breakfast. As they stress, it’s not a hotel although it feels like one, it doesn’t have 24 hour staff or a bar
- Alice (10/5): - Location is perfect - not in the absolute thick of things so as to feel hectic and set upon, but steps away from everything one could want to see or do.
The public areas and my room were equally pristine, beautiful, and sophisticated. As I told them, I felt like a princess. Slept like one too. Extremely comfortable bed.
My room, at least, was very quiet - there was zero sound transfer from other rooms or the street.
The breakfast was GREAT. Loved the very fresh fruit, and the terrace.
But the best thing is the above-and-beyond service. I had an unusual repeating need and they accommodated me cheerfully. I was also paranoid and doggedly fretful about getting to my morning train on time, and again they kindly put me at ease and arranged everything for me.
Another typical example of their thoughtfulness: at reception, they not only have a (very nice) bathroom - THERE IS A SHOWER IN THERE. A courtesy room WITH A SHOWER is not necessarily a given (unless you’re at an expensive beach resort).
Last example: they speak perfectly good English, but were kind enough to continuously indulge my insistent attempts to practice my Italian on them, even though it was probably rather less efficient for them 😂
Very grateful to have found this place, and to Frederica and Giulia. I LOVED Siena and will look forward to staying there again as soon as I can return.
- Mark (10/5): - Great location, with great staff who were happy to assist with any requests
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful Rooms - This place is a hidden gem!
It was even bigger and better than I expected.
So thrilled with our Diamanté suite. Thank you!
So spacious and beautiful. Amazing ceilings!
Beautiful bathroom.
I wish I could have stayed longer!
The location is excellent - near everything.
Breakfast on the terrace was lovely too.
Siena is spectacular!
Only negative is that, although the AC was adequately cold, which is a necessity in July and Aug, for some reason the bedroom AC kept turning off by itself…that was the only odd thing.
Also there were no face towels which would have been appreciated.
No USB ports so make sure you bring adequate adaptors.

- Dina (10/5): - We really liked our stay at the Relias. It is a small boutique hotel right in the middle of Siena. The staff were very kind and helpful during our stay and we were grateful that our car was able to be stored in a local parking garage (took all the stress away). Our room was lovely - large, very clean and the beds were comfortable. The frescoed ceilings, large old style elegant doors and the general ambience of the place was very special. Breakfast was lovely and it was so nice to be able to sit out on the little terrace. We would stay here again if we visit Siena - it is a fabulous place to stay.
- David (10/5): - Beautiful hotel, great location, highly recommend
- Alan (10/5): - Historic property right in the heart of Siena
- MC (10/5): - Great property, great location, helpful and friendly staff, right in the middle of Siena, walking distance to all the sight seeing places.
- Stephan (10/5): - Gorgeous property, lots of charm. Staff is super friendly. Beautiful breakfast room Terrace, with delicious food. Very elegant overall, strongly recommend while in Siena.
- Jen (10/5): - Warm welcoming reception, very well maintained and clean room, nothing to complain actually. Loved our stay. 5 min walk from historic attractions
- David (10/5): Love This Place - Great location that's 5 min walk from the main center, but also in a quieter area. The lobby situation is a little unusual, but the hotel is otherwise fantastic. We loved our spacious room and the breakfast was really good. Staff was helpful and gave excellent restaurant recommendations.
- Debra (8/5): - We stayed in a beautiful suite. Had a problem with hot water our first night but the staff did all one could expect to resolve it. Otherwise, would give it 5 stars in every other area.
- Jill (8/5): - Property was very clean. Breakfast was excellent.
- Laurie (10/5): - Julia and Federica could not have been kinder, the breakfast was wonderful and the property was beautiful. I highly recommend for a lovely stay.
- Connie (6/5): They need to work out the kinks - Downside was in all our other hotels we were offered help with our bags and good instructions about our room and often escorted to the room to show is things and how they worked. This hotel makes no move from the central seat that sat next to the breakfast room after you had to figure out how to get through a few doors and climb steps to try and locate this one manned reception desk.
- Javier (10/5): - Very nice hotel and the bus stop right in front. Beautiful room and super good breakfast.
- Rob (8/5): Amazing hotel (except for hot water) - The hotel is amazing. Truly a jewel. Only downside was the lack of hot water. There was an amazing hot tub and shower, but the water was lukewarm. The service was perfect, location amazing. You feel like royalty when you stay in this hotel.
- Garrett (10/5): - This was an excellent stay in Siena. A stone's throw from the Fortezza Medici and the Piazza with great eats nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!
- Patricia A (2/5): - Your resort is beautiful, with luxurious accommodations and a fine breakfast buffet. Its location is in a convenient area of the city, But I did not enjoy my stay and in fact I chose to stay only one night instead of 2 nights which I had paid for. Your receptionist Federica was extremely rude and disrespectful. I have never experienced such behavior from anyone in Italy before and I will never stay nor recommend this hotel again. She messaged me several times on WhatsApp, prior to my arrival, regarding the parking and the hour at which I would arrive, I was busy traveling throughout the country, driving several hours from the south, and I did not receive each message, nor did I have the time to devote to that. I gave her an estimate of my arrival, but I did not see one of the messages regarding the parking garage address. Sometimes there is limited phone service while driving through the country. When we arrived, the receptionist Federica, was extremely unhappy because we didn’t park the car at the address she had sent. With all other interactions I had with her she was very disrespectful and rude. At one point slamming the door in my face after I asked her for an iron for my room.
When you book a hotel in a different country, you may not always understand all the rules prior to your arrival, but she did not make this a very pleasant or easy experience for us. It’s called “accommodations” for a reason, and there was no accommodating from her.
- Anthony (10/5): 👍👍 - Excellent experience at Relais Angeli. Reception was great as was our room. Breakfast offerings was best of our one month in Italy. Service in all areas was very good.
- Richard (10/5): - The staff was very helpful finding us dining options for Christmas Eve. The room was exquisite and the breakfast was excellent as well as the attentive breakfast staff.
- Katherine (10/5): - The diamond suite was outstanding! The breakfast was excellent. The staff was very kind and helpful. Very clean and comfortable.
- Deborah (10/5): - Excellent property in a central location.
- Angelica (10/5): - This hotel was so beautiful and the breakfast in the morning was great! I would definitely stay here again, everything within walking distance.
- Dianne (10/5): - The position was in the old town walking distance to all the sights. Staff were friendly and very helpfull. Our accomodation was perfect.
There is a small lift or lots of stairs. Breakfast was good. Close to bus stop.15 euro by taxi from train station. Great recommendations for dinner. Will defiantly stay there next time we are in Siena.
- Amanda-Abundio (10/5): - Property and room were gorgeous! We loved the beautiful decor. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Loved the amenities included. The breakfasts were superb!!! Best we’ve had on our trip. Thank you for a fabulous stay!

- Eileen (6/5): We had unusual circumstances… - This Hotel is beautiful and in a great location. The staff were very friendly and Check-in was easy. the car drop off situation went very smoothly. Unfortunately as beautiful as our room was it was off the breakfast terrace and during our stay there was a large group of very loud people as well as street noise (6am garbage collection and street cleaning) and regular traffic which became an issue. To make matters worse, the shower in our room broke the first time we tried to use it. Flaminia was quick to call a serviceman and it was “fixed” by the time we got back from dinner. The next morning however, housekeeping broke the shower again. Another call to the serviceman. It needed a part which would not come until possibly the next day. We were told the shower was usable but to use caution, when we tried, we could not get any hot water. The solution was to shower in a bathroom down the hall from our room. Between the noise and the shower issue it was just an unpleasant stay. The hotel was very accommodating and gave us partial credit for the two nights we did stay. They also offered to move us to another one of their properties as there were no rooms available at the Relais, but then we would have had to pack up all our stuff. At that point we just decided to head on to our next destination. My suggestion if you stay here…don’t get a room off the the terrace…obviously the shower situation was an accidental accidental occurrence that they tried to make right.
- Sam (10/5): - Very comfortable bed, clean, hot showers, friendly staff. Room was very nice.
- Natalia (8/5): - The customer service was good, arranged a vale service to drop our car. The room was noisy from the crowd on the street, there’s no conditioner. After 8pm there is no reception and we had to self check in but it was very straightforward and customer service was in touch late ours. Room was very large and nice.
- Ike (10/5): - The property is in the historic district, with shops and restaurants right out the door. It is in a renovated building with an add on elevator (quite small). The reception floor also has a nice terrace and serves a wonderful breakfast.
- Kerry (10/5): - Our room was absolutely beautiful! Italian fairytale! Loved having our own private access to the terrace but would prefer a view. The terrace only looks over a street with a parking lot. But the staff were wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. I’m
- Catherine (10/5): Wonderful Stay - Amazing hotel!!! The staff went over the top in helping us get organized. Very comfortable too.

- Myriam (10/5): - Good location. Nice ambiance
- Olivia (10/5): - This must be the nicest hotel in Siena. I’ve been fortunate enough to live here and stay at several hotels and Airbnbs here, and this far outweighs any of them, including the Grand Hotel Continental. You may think I’m easily pleased but I’m not, I’m very fussy but I honestly can’t fault this gorgeous little hotel!

It was so beautiful (better even than the pictures) and had everything we needed! The staff was so friendly and lovely and the breakfasts on the patio in the mornings were great! It was within walking distance of all the sights and we would highly recommend this hotel!

Our room was perfect for us, large, spacious and inclusive of a kitchen, dining table and living/lounge room.
The hotel is also perfectly positioned to explore Siena.
- Gabriela (10/5): - The staff was very warm, hospitable and helpful. It’s very central and excellent location. The room was charming and comfortable and the fresco painted ceilings were a nice touch. It’s not fancy but it’s local, clean, comfortable and welcoming in the heart of the old city. Couldn’t have asked for more during my stay. If you want to support local and have everything you need I highly recommend this property.
