- Cherith (6/5): - Pretty good place to stay, great playground for kids. So good except there aren’t enough toilets and showers and the toilet and shower doors don’t lock. Not enough crockery in the kitchen.

- Shane (4/5): - Location out of Hokitika. Stayed in a cabin which adjoined to another. Walls are very thin you can hear all noises of snoring, coughing and talking etc. ZENBU wifi didnt work at all and the area is 3G on mobile phones. Sally was great and so was the cabin until I got neighbours who snored all night. Rate was very cheap so 3/5.

We stayed 2 nights, was most expensive place we had booked, we were woke before 6 am with another cabin who had a dog with them barking . And second night was woke before 7 by same cabin singing loudly outside our door that they had a good nights sleep.

- Katarzyna (8/5): W sam raz dla rodzin na krótki camping - Niedrogie miejsce, w sam raz do krótkiego pobytu na trasie wiodącej przez południową wyspę. Czyste pokoje z lodówką, zlewem, naczyniami, tosterem i czajnikiem. Plac zabaw dla dzieci. W pobliskim miasteczku jest supermarket (dookoła tylko pola).

- Verified traveler (8/5): Very Lucky Indeed - When we arrived my friend was not feeling well and would have had to walk from the cabin to the toilets. So I asked about an upgrade. There was one available and it was brand new. Because I had decided to leave early the upgrade was cheaper than staying in the cabins. Plus plus plus. I really appreciated being able to bring my pets into the Park and because of that our stay was very enjoyable. Thank you Hokitika Holiday Park.
- Vincent (8/5): - The roads in and around the park are in need of repair; we were dodging potholes full of rainwater everywhere. Kitchen facility is adequate however as the park filled with guests the kitchen was overwhelmed with folks using a single cooktop and oven. Same goes for the bathroom and shower area. Not the parks problem, but with paper thin walls between units we had extremely noisy and rambunctious young kids next door.

But very friendly and helpful service, the whole place is a marvel of well thought out creativity with plywood, and very reasonable price.

- Darren (8/5): Service makes this 3.5 a 4 star place - This holiday park is still new and from communication after our stay they are still improving the place and taking feedback. My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in a cabin. Positives - great park, quiet, great outside space to sit, room is spacious and clean with kettle, fridge, toaster, crockery, cutlery and utensils all provided. General amenities good. Great zip line for kids. Close to glow worm dell and a 5 min drive into town. Negatives - bed soft, only one pillow and gravel walk to shower/toilets makes shower areas a bit dirty as no separate shower units. Having said that I fed back to the park and they confirmed happy to take back feedback and still working on Park so on this basis would recommend a stay here.

- Sian (8/5): Best playground for children - Fresh clean room, not too far from amenities block. great playground and play area that the children loved. Easy drive into town of 5 minutes
- Grant (6/5): Paper thin walls. - This is obviously a new developement as the roads aren't adequately formed yet and there was a rough piece of ground to traverse to get to my room. The room was nice but the whole stay was spoiled by the lack of soundproofing between individual units. I was able to clearly hear conversations and snoring from both sides of me. With no nearby facilities, it was a mission to go to the shops and if you wanted to go to town for a meal and a few drinks you are faced with a 3km walk home or a taxi ride.

- the Dutchies (10/5): Brand new Holiday Park, only just started. - Everything is brand new in this park. Maybe therefore some minor things were missing, but after asking for it, the staff was very kind and helpfull to 'fix the problem'.
