• Theodora (10/5): - Everything was extraordinary but most of all Marina the hostess was exceptional. She was very polite, very helpful and she gave us useful tips. The location of the place was amazing and everything was within walking distance. We will definitely stay there if we visit Verona again.
• Britt (10/5): Perfect for visiting the city centre - B&B The Lions is very close to the city centre, for example The Arena, - just a 5 minutes walk. The apartment is very clean and neat. Marina gives you a heartly welcome and explains the facilities and the most interesting places for the tourist. Very good bed and pillow. And - a hot shower. Outside the kitchen there is a balcony where you can enjoy your breakfast and take a look at the city and the hills. There is an elevator - small, but room for one luggage and one person. When pouring in the streets you can use the Easypark app. If you prefer to park in a parking house the is one only a short walk away. The B&B is near the university. If we are going to visit Verona again, I´ll check for vacancies at B&B The Lions. Marina is such a sweet hostess.

• Stephan (8/5): - Die Lage ist super! In 5 min zu Fuss mitten in der Altstadt, aber schwierig mit Parkplatz (genereller PP-Mangel): Ca. 5 min zu Fuss zum Parkhaus "Paradise" (10Euro/Tag). Nur mit Glück Entlademöglichkeit des Gepäcks vor dem Haus. Zimmer im 4. Stock aber mit Aufzug (Bj. wahrscheinlich 1890...). Zimmer selbst sehr nett mit eigenem Bad. Zustand ok. Sauberkeit gut. Sehr hellhörig. Mit toller Dachterasse + Blick über Altstadt! Am 2. Tag kamen ohne Vorwarnung aber Dachdecker, bauten Gerüst auf und legten los...tlw. lautstark. Vermieterin: Sie versuchte ihr bestes die Morgenzeiten frei von Lärm zu halten. Frühstück "sehr übersichtlich": In einem Kühlschrank stehen etwas Schmelzkäse/verpackte Würstel, Butter, Brot, Marmelade, Joghurt zur Selbstbedienung. "Mama" brachte Mini-Obstsalate. Kaffee und Tischdecken und aufräumen in Eigenregie. Trotzdem lustig das zu erleben.

• michael (10/5): Prisvärt och mysigt! - Lovely B&B with a wonderful hostess. The room and bathroom is nice and clean and the AC is efficient. Perfect location in a quiet area but still close to the city center. I can strongly recommend this B&B, we had a lovely stay.

• Judith (8/5): Privately owned room with character - B&B run by a private lady, top floor with old-fashioned lift, on top of another B&B called Leones. We appreciated being lent cushions for the opera and being talked through the main sights of Verona by the bubbly owner. The room is decorated with old- fashioned love, is clean and calm though. Only downside: smell of cigarettes when entering the flat. Breakfast was simple but good. All of Verona is within walking distance, the bus to the train station is in front of the house. Various food and drink options are nearby.
• Kevin (6/5): - It was ok. We had to negotiate a pitch black stairwell with the torch on our iPhone to find the apartment. The owner then forgot that we were booked in despite emailing the previous night confirming our arrival. If you want a overnight place as you travel then it's perfect.
• Rebecca (10/5): Quaint bed and breakfast near main attractions - I really enjoyed having my own set of keys for my own room in an aoartment. It made me feel independent. The main stretch of town was close but the place was far away enough that it wasn't loud at night. A quick walk over the bridge was easy! The room was was temperature controlled to my liking and reliable! I liked paying up front. It was very easy! The breakfast was just a small mostly cold service but it was all tasty and enough. The cookies with the chocolate inside were DANGEROUSLY delicious. If I was to make one suggestion, it would be to also supply some fruit. Full bananas, oranges, apples, peaches, apricots... Etc. Would for sure come back!
• Jouko (6/5): Hyvällä sijainnilla oleva B&B - Talon emäntä opasti asiantuntevasti Veronan nähtävyyksiä. Tyynyjen lainaus Oopperaan oli mukava juttu. Aamiainen oli itsepalveluna hoidettava, mutta ihan ok muutoin. Huone oli tilava mutta sisustus ja vuode/liinavaatteet jo uusimista kaipaavia.
• Verified traveler (10/5): 이보다 더 좋을수는 없다. - 위치는 말할나위없이 완벽했고 호스트도 아주 친절했다. 부엌에도 기본 양념들은 세팅되어있어 간단한 음식을 해먹는데 불편함이 없었으며 기본적인 토스트나 비스킷 우유 요거트 과일등 조식도 훌륭했다 발코니가 있어 휴식을 취하기 좋았으며 욕실, 객실의 청소 상태도 완벽했다. 난 5점 만점에 5점을 주고싶다.!
• Verified traveler (8/5): Perfekte Lage für einen Besuch in Verona - Wir wurden sehr freundlich von Marina empfangen und bekamen eine ausführliche Empfehlung für das Sightseeing. Außerdem erhielten für die Dauer unseres Aufenthalts eine Karte zum kostenlosen Parken. Das Zimmer war großzügig und persönlich eingerichtet. Die Klimaanlage war perfekt bei über 35 Grad. Insgesamt ein sauberes und ansprechendes Zimmer mit Bad. Das Frühstück kann auf der kleinen Dachterasse mit Blick über die Dächer der Altstadt eingenommen werden. Einzig das Frühstück entsprach nicht unseren Erwartungen, da es leider aus abgepacktem Käse und Würstchen bestand. Frische Brötchen und frischer Schinken, Salami und Käse hätte uns glücklich gemacht. Legt man wenig Wert auf Frühstück oder kauft selbst ein, hat man die perfekte Location.
• Lena (10/5): Marina is the best!!!! - Our stay was perfect. Marina was the best. She helped us and checked in on us like a mom does. We loved it. We deeply recommend this place.
• ZOE (4/5): Pay more for better quality - The lady was unprepared for our arrival despite sending several emails asking for the anticipated arrival time. Towels and bed linen very poor quality. Run down room adjacent to owner's own flat. Strong smell of cigarettes smoke. She did not cook breakfast or wash up. We were expected to do so ourselves from food left out. She is of a nervous disposition which is quite disconcerting. Would not re visit. More hostel than traditional guest house or B&B. Pay more for better quality and more centrally located. Lack of eating places or supermarkets close by.
• Verified traveler (10/5): A 10 minute stroll from the centre - Marina is a wonderful hostess and does all she can to ensure you enjoy your stay. We have no hesitation at all in recommending the B&B Lions to anybody. We have a lovely room and en suite next to the terrace that overlooks the rooftops of Verona and further on to the Castel S. Pietro. A wonderful three nights. Thank you Marina.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Comfortable - The room and bathroom are very clean, very comfortable, Marina is a nice host and a good tour guide! There are fruits and food in the morning, there is a balcony to have the breakfast and the view is very Italian! You can walk to the historical places in Verona but I suggest you get a bike, there is a bike sharing spot near the B&B. There is also a helpful self service laundry in front of the building.
