- Christian (10/5): Sehr chillige Location - Sehr nettes kleines Hotel mit 8 Zimmern. Frühstück war sehr lecker. Liegestühle mit Auflagen und eigener Strandzugang über kleine Treppe (nicht zum Hauptstand) vorhanden. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter (wir erhielten selbst gemachte Gewürzpaste geschenkt, da wir nach dem Rezept gefragt hatten). Lage am Rand des Hauptstrandes ohne direkte Verbindung, daher erst ein Stück an der Straße entlang um zum Hauptstrand zu kommen. Zu Fuß in den Ort ca. 10 min. am Strand entlang. Dafür kein Trubel und Lärm. Auch von der Straße hört man keinen Lärm. Toller Blick auf das Meer und den Ort/Beach. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Insgesamt

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very small hotel so staff had the time to speak. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them ie I asked for an iron and within 5 mins they brought me one. Also there were no sun beds on the beach so the staff took two from the hotel and placed them on the beach for us. The a/c was awesome as it worked without a key. First hotel I’ve been to and that happens. Great when it was 32 outside and we came into a fab cook room. Great hotel

Omistajaperhe asui samassa rakennuksessa, palvelu oli huippuluokkaa ja apua saatiin joka asiaan johon oli tarvetta. Oma piha-alue oli pieni sisältäen kuitenkin kaiken tarvittavan . Puffet/aamiaistilan pöytineen ja 6kpl lepotuolia auringonottoon rantapenkereellä. Naapurissa n. 50m etäisyydellä unawatuan hieno hiekkaranta jossa voi käydä uimassa. Aamiainen on erinomainen ja pöytiin tarjoiltuna , sisältäen tuoreen hedelmälautasen , kahvi/mehu/tee ,kananmunat, paahtoleivät ,voi, marmelaadit .
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great beach View with spacious rooms - Very clean and big rooms with a big toilet and good water pressure with warm water. The eating area has great unblocked views of the ocean with a nice seating area with sun beds to catch the beautiful sunset in the evening. We stayed for two days and did not have any trouble with noise and had good sleep. Might need to check when you first get to the room to make sure you have blankets and hair dryers. If not, just ask the staff and they will provide.
- Mandy (10/5): Great location for relaxing with fab sea view - We stayed 4 nights here over New Year & really enjoyed our stay.Its a small friendly hotel with a beautifully laid out area facing the ocean. Breakfast is provided between & the fresh fruit platter was lovely. We were also offered a very early breakfast when we had to check out by 6.30a.m to catch a train & staff were always on hand & happy to help. Fresh juice can be ordered throughout the day & there are bars and restaurants as well as a convenience store & wine shop within a couple of minutes walk so it's no problem that there is no restaurant facility on site.We were glad we chose this rather than somewhere directly on the beach as it was very busy. It was great to be able to access activities & then return to relax looking out at the waves so we felt for comfort & location it was worth the price.
- Richard (8/5): Strandpaleis, aan einde van de Unawatuna Baai - Goed gelegen kleine B&B met strandbedden aan zee, in mooie binnentuin met palbomen en konijnen. Vriendelijke familie. Matrassen van bedden in slaapkamer kunnen beter. Geweldig eenvoudig ontbijt, wordt voor je klaar gemaakt. Tuk tuk tot Unawatuna max 150 Rupee / naar Galle Fort max 450 Rupee. Geen alcohol vergunning, wel cocusnoten, sappen en frisdrank.
- Becky (8/5): Perfect place to watch the sunset! - We absolutely loved this hotel. it was probably the nicest one we stayed at during our two weeks in Sri Lanka. Staff were lovely, despite some issues with the water (not their fault) we would definitely recommend it. We didn't love Unawatuna but this hotel made our few days there worthwhile!!
